Kiri was the first to realize that something was up with Spider. In the morning while having breakfast, he just stared at the food. Like if something was wrong with it. Kiri reassured him that it was safe to eat. He stared at it for a few more moments before finally eating. Then he went with Lo'ak to help Aonung and some others with cleaning up. They came back when it was time for lunch and Spider did the exact same thing. Lo'ak had whispered to her that Spider had act strange. He wouldn't speak and kept his distance from everyone, even Lo'ak.

Kiri was worried, after lunch she was about to talk to Spider, but he walked away before she could talk to him.

So when it was time for dinner she waited outside the marui, waiting for Spider to show up.

When Spider did finally show up, Kiri grabbed him and took him a bit from the murai.

"Spider are you okay?" She asked.

Spiders expression was blank. "I am perfectly fine Kiri."

"No you are not." Kiri was trying not to yell or cry. "Spider, I don't know what the RDA did to you. And every day I would pray to the Great Mother for your safety. But now that you're back it's like...if you're still gone."

"K-Kiri." Spiders voice sounded confused. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't even realize that I was acting different. I thought I was acting normal. It felt normal. Maybe I'm just more drained than I thought? I don't know."

They hugged each other. "Dad said Norm was coming tomorrow to bring medicine, supplies for you, and a shack."Kiri felt Spider tense up. "If you want me to go with you, I can." That eased Spider a bit and he nodded.

Holding hands, they went to the murai.

Kiri and Lo'ak exchanged a look when they saw that Spider didn't stare at his food again and seemed ok.

Though, Kiri couldn't help but worry in the back of her head. Worried that Spider wasn't entirely ok. But she tried not to think about it to much. If something was wrong, Norm would find out.

Spider would be okay, right?

Spider was back in the cell. He tried to break the window with the chair but that didn't do anything. He tried hitting the door with it but that didn't even make a dent. He then threw the chair at the window while letting out a frustrated scream.

"Do you remember this place? The place you were trapped in for weeks before Quaritch saved you."

Spider looked around. "Who are you!?" He shouted.

"*sigh* I kinda figured you wouldn't remember the dream you had the other night. You'll find out soon. Very soon."

"You're not real!" Spider yelled.

...

...

...

"I'm not real?" The voice spoke. "I'm not real?" Spider could hear the anger in their voice. "I'M NOT REAL?!?!"

Spider felt something grab the back of his head, lift him up, and threw him to the wall.

"NEVER say I'm not real ever again. I'm more real than those Sully's."

Spider winced as he sat on his knees. "Wh-What are you talking about?"

"You live in a fantasy world where you think that the Sullys See you. Bah, leaving you in the hands of the RDA is solid proof."

Spider shook his head. "You're wrong, they care about me!"

"Oh really? Then why didn't they come get you if they See you as one of them? Why did you feel more happy with the Recoms then you have ever been with the Sullys? Why would Neytiri put a knife to your throat if she saw you as a son?"

Spider didn't answer.

"Perhaps Kiri is the only one who truly Sees you." The voice spoke after a moment. "But would she still care about you if she found out what you did? How would the Sullys react. Neytiri would kill you for sure."

Spider felt something warm on his shoulder. "You're in pain Spider. I can see and feel it. But worry not, I'll keep you safe. All you have to do," Spider felt the world around him fading away. "Is trust me."

When Norm had arrived, Jake and Lo'ak were tasked with helping deliver the boxes of medicine to Ronal and Neytiri. Norm did the check up in the shack. Which was a 30 minute walk from the village. Kiri and Tuk, who wanted to stay with Spider, where with him when he got his check up. Norm said he was okay but he had lost 15 pounds. Nothing a few meals couldn't fix. Though he said that Spider couldn't lift heavy things and should stay in the shack until he gains back some pounds. He doesn't want to risk Spider passing out.

So Spider was laying on his bed, bored.

"Do you like Kiri?"

Spider chocked on his spit, sat up, and started coughing. He felt something patting his back.

"What!? *cough* Why would *cough* ask me that?! *cough*"

"I don't know. Just by how you both act around each other. But I'm not judging she seems like a good mate for you. Just give me a call and I'll plan the, what's the word, wedding."

Spider could practically feel them smirking.

He rolled his eyes and laid back down."Whatever."

...

...

...

"So we can't go outside?"

"We- I can, just not often. Norm doesn't want to risk me fainting in the heat."

"Well that sucks."

...

...

...

"You miss him, don't you?"

"Miss who?"

"Don't play stupid. You know exactly who I'm talking about."

"...No."

"Lier, I know you do. I can feel it. You miss the times you spent in the forest. You miss how he took care of you. You miss when you were teaching him Na'vi. You miss having a parent in your life. You miss him."

Spider sat up, angry. "What would you know! You don't know me! You know nothing! You're just a voice in my head! I must be going crazy if-" Everything went dark for Spider.

Pitch black.

And then the darkness faded away and he was in a bathroom.

He stood up and looked at the mirror.

He saw himself but at the same time it wasn't.

His reflection was taller, blue skin, four fingers, pointy ears, tail. His reflection was... a Na'vi. But his hair was still blond instead of black.

Spider looked at his hands, no blue skin and five fingers.

He looked back at the mirror. His reflection staring at him. He tilted his head, his reflection did nothing. Just stared at him.

The reflection lifted his hand and pointed behind him.

He turned, the room fading back to darkness, and saw a holographic version of a brain the size of a table.

"That's yours." Spider turned his head and saw the Na'vi next to him. A hand on his shoulder.

"At least, before I came along. Do you see that small green dot right there on the frontal lobe."

The Na'vi pointed at the dot that appeared. It was small, but Spider could still see it.

"That's me. When I was first, what's the word, 'born'. While the RDA were using the machine on you. Something happened and I came to be."

The dot grew. Grew to the size that could cover half of it. But it was moving.

"That's me now. You could say I finished 'growing' after Neteyam's funeral. Though I didn't quite know what to say."

He moved to the other side of the brain. Staring at it, hands behind his back.

Spider wasn't sure what to say, so he asked. "What's your name?"

The Na'vi looked at him for a moment and looked back at the brain. "Our names are very similar. You are Miles 'Spider' Socorro. I am Miles 'Scorpion' Socorro."

Spider stared at Scorpion. Not sure what to say.

Scorpions ear twitched. "Someone's coming. Don't tell people about me. Not even Kiri."

Spiders vision was starting to fade.

"Oh and one more thing. If I hear you say that I'm not real one more time, I'll skin you alive!"

Scorpion saw Spider's smile before he completely fade way, back to the real world. His ears twitched as he heard Kiri.

With a wave of his hand, the darkness faded away again and he was in the room where Spider was strapped to the machine, the blond woman asking Spider questions.

But at the moment he wasn't interested at that he was more interested in trying to hear what Quaritch, Wainfleet, and some human scientists were talking about.

But due to Spider yelling, the blond woman asking questions, and the machine running. He couldn't hear what Spider didn't in the memories.

Though he barely heard one of the scientists say 'Project Shapeshift'

He's replayed the memory over and over to try to hear more, but it never works.

Though he thinks there's one person who might know. But the problem was that he didn't know where Quaritch was. And Spider didn't want to see him either.

It wasn't like he could just take control of Spiders body.

...

...

...

...

Unless...

Scorpion waved his hand again and he was back where he was. He looked at Spiders brain, smirking at an idea. He had done something similar the other day. But that was more of Spiders mind. This would be more difficult.

He had to wait until Kiri, who had brought Spider lunch, leaves.

It was about 20 minutes until she left, with the promise to bring dinner and bring Lo'ak and Tuk.

Once Spider was next to his bed, about to get on, his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed face first into the bed. His legs dangling off the bed.

After a few minutes his left hand started to move. Like if someone was testing it. Then his other, then his feet, and slowly, he stood up.

He stumbles over to the bathroom. He turned the lights on and looked at the mirror. He looked the same.

Except his eyes weren't brown.

They were yellow.

(Hope you like this. And to those who are reading my other story, it might be a bit before I post a story because I'm still struggling on how to start it.)
