"Tampering with the center of all existence? That's a new low, even for you!" The voice called the team out. "And abusing divine properties, trying to mess with all existence? Wow, that's Complete Monster level of excessive villainy!"
"GET. OUT." The hedgehog threatened.
"We'll find you directly. You will regret all this." The voice threatened back.
"You cannot catch me." The hedgehog countered.
The voice disappeared, just in time Nightmare Rose came back.
"Firstly, what did I miss?" Nightmare Rose came by. "And secondly... I thought I found them, but... Oh no!"
"They've escaped!?" Enerjak freed Kado Thorne by mistake, distracted by the voice and then false Amy.
The vampire just ran off.
"Sonic! Catch him!" Nightmare Rose noticed.
"Lords and a lady, we've found a way-" Circler and Cubester came back, but saw Thorne scrambling around.
"Oh no!" Thorne saw the escape's blocked. "That's it!"
Then he ran to the time machine, crashing onto it and causing a brief shockwave that stunned everyone and everything in this floor. A bunch of weapons quickly spawned, and he took out one: his Scoped Burst SMG, which looks like a SIG MPX Copperhead with green dot sight equipped.
-*burst shots* He was able to damage Circler and Cubester, physically disrupting the circuits. The hedgehog had to knock the weapon off, but he got rifted into the Shatterspaces for a brief time because of the time machine's bursting.
"Sonic!" The rest panicked.
"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!" Kado sap the time machine, forcibly regaining his own transformation. He becomes a revenant.
Enerjak blasted with Chaos energy onto the vampire, but a single Shockwave Grenade diverted the blast. Thorne took time to snatch a smartphone with a creative software, and flew away. All that left was a bunch of weapons, the time machine overheating, the Genesis Portals closed, and the whole evil team winded by the counterattack.
"Ugh... my old ho- what." The hedgehog returned. "What the hell just happened?"
Kado landed back down at the ground, with the smartphone opened and on. The vampire is baffled at how different this world is, and how ugly it looked.
"This phone... I'll take it."
Then suddenly, a whisper came to Thorne.
"What's that noise?" Kado then flew to the 20th floor, where the whisper seemingly came to be. "Could this be..."
Meanwhile, Sonic has just cleared out the 17th floor with the help of the unified army strongly beating up mooks. Sonic phased in, busted another Gemerl copy, and authorized.
"The stairways is longer and taller and more spacious, especially for the total width." Sage scanned.
Suddenly, a Shadow Man ambushed from the emergency exit straight to the way, but Shadow was able to Chaos Control out by countering the Chaos Cannon, similar to how he saved Team Superstars from the Hyper Genesis Wave.
"Wait... is that how you saved us?" Classic Tails noticed.
"I'm used to the Chaos energy." Shadow reassured.
In the meantime, through the same emergency exit, the gang managed to sneak down to the 23rd floor. They were nearly spotted multiple times over, and because mooks are coming down right now, this floor is the hardest yet for them.
"Sneaky sneaky sneaky." Sonia carefully sidestepped to the emergency way to the 22nd floor.
The gang sneakily approached, when the voice that just threatened the Team Shatter rang.
"Was that... the CXA?" Volnutt heard it. "I don't think I'm mishearing this. Like, I'm a cyborg."
"A Carbon, to be exact." Julie-Su shrugged.
As the same time the army clears out the 18th floor, the gang arrived at the 22nd floor, thanks to the Roboticized Masters too busy to notice them... except for one.
"Something's sus..." A Silver Man felt something. "Detection begins."
Kado arrived at the 20th floor, and saw a complicated system powering the castle, as well as stuffs related to powering the Hyper Genesis Wave, something he has yet to know.
"It's so alien. What's exactly this place?" Kado walks around the delicate and complicated machines. "Thanks goodness the CXA distracted to save me. I got it. I'll just... thank them when they arrives. I remember helping the O.R.A.C. All those Crises happen- wait, can't be exposed."
"Ok, 18th floor done." Sonic auths after destroying another Gemerl clone. "You're welcome."
"Sonic, there's something disturbing. You know what? The Hyper Genesis Wave flashed the entire Reality Zero. That's how Team Shatter were able to get the time machine." Ghost Shadow called. "You know, one used tyo travel to past and future of Zero, like an Island for example. The Zero Point, the heart of all of said Zero, connects to all of existence. All realities. Which means that if Shatter succeed, all of existence may be shattered!"
"He want to shatter everything?" Zero heard it. "Also? What? The stuffs has, my name?"
"Name overlap sometime happens." Boom!Sonic shrugged.
Arriving at the 19th floor, the unified army is surrounded by Roboticized Masters.
"Gotcha." Another voice of Shadow called through radio.
"Huh? Another me?" Shadow noticed.
"Deep down, doom comes to you all..." Yet another of Shadow's voice.
"No! That's my shatter selves!" Ghost Shadow pointed it out. "Black Chaos. The Wild. Deep Doom. And most importantly... Grim Shadow. Me."
"What the!?" The Shatterspace guys are shocked.
"Shadows... Them!?" Prime!Rouge is shocked.
"Go." The voices called.
The Roboticized Masters, accompanied by Phantom-powered Badniks, zerg-rushed to the unified army, doing all their power to kill them all.
"Phantom... Chaos!" Infinite roared, and cue the Phantom Ruby effects.
Phantom Ruby, being the byproduct of a twisted Master Emerald, therefore causes a twisted version of the Chaos Control, instantly paralyzing all the mooks. But quickly did all of them recovered, forcing Infinite to do it again. This time on out, the Avatar blasted some with the Dynamic Wispon.
They loaded all the colors of Wisps, and went... "Final Color Blaster!"
"Spin Dash Blast!" Mega Man fired a Double-Gear-charged blast on Sonic doing the 'Infinite Mass' Spin Dash.
The unified army attacked and beat down the constantly-paralyzed Roboticized Masters and Badniks, so the two buddies can finish them off like a full-blown massacre.
"No..." A Knuckles Man is ultimately destroyed.
All ended up released hundreds of animal friends, which flew out of the way, horrified about everything. The beatup caused noise onto the 20th floor, which Kado could hear.
"Finally! We leave the 21st floor, we didn't get spotted, and we go down!" Scourge stepped in.
The abuse of his Phantom Ruby to let the mooks down put a major strain on the jackal, and he ends up passing out from exhaustation.
"No no no no no-" A Tails Man gets brutal shredded by both the Final Color bust and the Spin Dash Blast ending together in unison.
"Wait until you see us." The shattered then laughed, before logging off.
"The extra noise just... stopped. What's going on?"" Kado noticed.
"Good good good, it's time to free-" Julie-Su then crashed onto the vampire. "Wh-what?"
"Huh? What's this creature?" Kado is confused.
"What? A monster!?" Volnutt is baffled.
"Who are you!?" Kado stepped back.
A footstep can be heard here. Barely.
"Oh yeah!" X arrived.
"Huh?" Sonia looked around. "Noise?"
"Found you!" A Silver Man, rushing through float. "Lord, I found them! They're indeed on the 20th!"
The unified army stepped into a massive hallway, containing some of the machinery and a massive capsule of classic proportions, covered in kanji "鬼". At the same, Kado went in and followed the gang from dreams for curiosity's sake, wanting to know more about the situation.
"Finally! In person!" Eggman welcomed the... siblings.
"Robotnik? You look... unlike you." Sonia is confused.
"Yes! We meet for real!" Manic jumped on Classic Sonic. "Hello, hello, hello!"
"Yipeee!" Julie-Su hugged Knuckles in excitement.
"Is this... the Yatsukahagi!?" Habaki noticed the capsule. "That's it! We finally-"
"Found you! Wow, you have gathered." The Silver Man interrupted. "Recording begins. Now it's time I keep you dead..."
"Uh oh." Marine stepped back.
"Finally! You've escaped. You can't be for long." Silver Man grabbed Marine through Psycho Burst. "C'mon, Blaze. I got them!"
"Silver! Finally!" A Blaze Woman came, burning with awe. "Oh! These are busted! Doomed resistance, come!"
"Uh oh. We're spotted at the last second." Volnutt loaded his Mega Buster.
"The Trigger boy, you've escaped enough. And look which prisoner-" Silver Man is blasted by Julie-Su. "Argh! That one just hit me!"
"Fuck off!" Kiryu whipped up a portable minigun, and unloaded on the Roboticized Masters. "Everyone, free the Tai-Aztiluth! Now, before they attack us all!"
"Damn! This capsule's locked!" Sonic stomped down and it's no use.
Habaki tried to tear the containment out, but it's protected by the Phantom Ruby powers.
"Time to affect the World Rings." Infinite whipped out the World Rings, but was quickly snatched by Silver Man. "No! NOOO!"
"Got back! Ha!" Silver Man tried to restrain every opposition here.
The Avatar used their Phantom Ruby to counter. Rindou looked through the window, and saw a sleep Numahime. That's right-
"Yatsukahagi! They're trapped!" Rindou found out. "Oh no... what have those monsters done to..."
A bunch of Roboticized Masters came down, this time accompanied by generic Grim Robots.
"They're surrounding us!" Knight Arthur stepped back.
Silver Man then rushed into the "Genesis" compartment, opposite to the hall, where the device that caused the Hyper Genesis Wave is situated in. The Master placed all 7 World Rings in it.
"It is done. It's over." Silver Man returned. "All of you are caught."
"Who are you?" Sonic called Kado.
-*awkward silence*
"O Kado Thorne, the vampire collector, stealing from history of Zero itself." The Roboticized Masters spoke in unison. "How were you able to survive and escape? At least you're trapped alongside the resistance itself!"
Turns out, they all have just been taken over and controlled by the hedgehog, who just found out everything. He used those Roboticized Masters to speak to all right now.
"I'm gonna slash them all." Kado accessed his Kinetic Blade, thanks to the phone spawning. "Take the phone. I'll end them."
Cue a single slash dashing to slice off a bunch of mooks down and knocking others, especially nearby. This is Vampiric Blade, and it also heals the vampire off, making him stronger than ever.
"Little Tails, keep the phone." Habaki gave the phone Kado got to Classic Tails. We're taking them down and help this... stranger."
The couple with their blades went to aid the vampire, destroying the robotic mooks as well. The Silver Man who found them reported everything to the so-called Team Shatter, before this:
"Wanna die?" Sonic forced into Speed Force and suspended Spin Dash into a floating 35kg massive pinball, to be blasted with Double Gear System by Mega Man himself.
"Uh oh." Silver Man then gets destroyed.
"Uh... is this a... smartphone?" Classic Tails examined the phone.
"I denied that the technology went too far. I couldn't anymore. My world become so changed, it doesn't remember me or co. at all." Julie-Su responded.
The phone summoned an nigh-futuristic shotgun known as Maven Auto Shotgun.
"What's this?" Julie-Su received the Maven Auto.
Shadow just snatched the shotgun. "I know how to use guns. Do you?"
A Grim Sonic noticed the shotgun, and tried to attack Shadow for that. The ultimate lifeform simply shot in at 1.4 per second, the three shots taking the robot down in 1.4 second. At the same time, a bunch of weapons were summoned.
"A SCAR? A sniper rifle? A... juice cannon of sorts?" Shadow found the weapons.
"This phone is so weird. Like, it can summon weapons, and... things!" Classic Tails using the phone.
"Good." Sonic lands down. "We did it. We secured the capsule."
The unified army then celebrated the survival and small victory. Kado detransformed, and wants to hi-five Habaki.
"You're my new collection! We're saving reality again!" Kado wants a hi-five. "Welcome. Let's..."
Habaki hesitated, due to him not knowing who the vampire really is. "Uh... who are you exactly?"
"Here's the last spare serum!" Volnutt intercepted, and force-fed the vampire with the dream serum. "Done. Now once you dream, you can call anyone with Cyber Dream."
"Ok, so here I am, stuck in this world and suddenly remembering everything." Kado goes to explain. "My name is Kado Thorne, and I'm the collector and a vampire. I travels through time, through the history of Zero, to steal valuable stuffs. It's my collection then, and ultimately I ended up in the patched Island. I brought the Eclipse with me, and became the revenant... but then some crew showed up and stole the time machine to do some stuffs. Some hunter slain me... except then, I woke up and found the O.R.A.C. left over. I found out everything, and used the time machine to build a community, and even got a gizmo device. The community grew, and we thrived under O.R.A.C.'s adventures."
Thankfully, Tails took notes.
"My community's existence paid off, and I joined an alliance formed by the Continuum Exploitation Authority. Turns out, the Order of the Pariah has Project mobius, which first pre-treated the entire omniverse by directing the shattering onto the Zero itself. And they began prepping one final time, thanks to the queen of the Beach, originally the Queen of Hearts but actually a future daughter of two blood youths whose world got destroyed. The CXA brought the fight to where the Trope Pantheons were ruined, whichby then became the Beach itself, for some Borderland reasons. The alliance fought against the bunch of the Equation which eventually devolved into a fusion of Anti-Life and Anti-Death..." Kado explained."We had to win and use the Big Bang that's originally curated because of the heist, all just to restore all existence and undo all the damage..."
