"Send in the accused!"

Those were the words that Chazz Princeton heard as he made his way towards the Duel Arena. By just its looks, it felt kind of like he was back home. But he wasn't.

The spectators are all female students. With the only male students on the island taking their respective places directly behind him.

But with everything he had been taught, he's more than confident enough to face whatever Duel Academy has to throw at him. Now that he thinks about it, this whole situation is pretty funny.

Who else could say that they've been in a situation like this before?

"Hey Chazz!" Chazz hears a familiar voice in his head. "Even though you're probably never going to see me again, just know I'll still be rooting for you!"

"Oh, it's you again, Jaden in my head. Where have you been during training?"

"Oh, you know… Hanging out in the schoolyard that is your sub-conscious. We've had a lot of good duels together, haven't we, Chazz?"

Chazz smirked at his imaginary Jaden. "Well just watch… I'll show you a duel that you're NEVER gonna forget!" "Oh boy, I can't wait! I wonder who they'll send after you!"

It was then that Chancellor Shiraki addressed the audience. "Now without further ado… Let me introduce Chazz Princeton's opponent… You all know her as the third ranked student at this academy! Please give a warm welcome… To Jaden Yuki!"

That name was more than enough to freeze Chazz where he stood. "Wha… What!?"

"Ohhhhh…" Imaginary Jaden began talking again. "Who knew Jaden could be a girl's name?"

Chazz then turned around. "ALEX! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT JADEN YUKI!?"

Alex raises an eyebrow. "Huh? You know a Jaden Yuki from your world? Well that would have been good to know… earlier."

It was then that Chazz heard a feminine voice from behind him. It's one that's enough to creep him out a little. "Hey, are you gonna just stand there and talk to your friend all day? Or are you gonna face me!?"

Chazz slowly turned around and took in the sight in front of him. A female Jaden Yuki. At first glance, there really isn't much difference between the two. Her hair is a tiny bit longer and she's wearing a modest Obelisk Blue uniform. But other than that, there really isn't much to point out.

"Jaden… Please listen to me!" Chazz put on a concerned face. "I was taken away from my world against my will! I'd never go into the girl's dorm! I'm not that kind of guy! I know that if there's anybody on this island that can listen to reason, it's you! I'm begging you! I need your help!"

Jaden however, playfully tilts her head. She then goes on to stretch her arms as she spoke. "You don't look like trouble, Chazz… I believe you. I'm not even mad that you were in the dorm to begin with… I'm just here for the duel. And I think you're gonna give me quite a thrill with what's at stake here… So get your duel disk ready… and get your game on!"

"Okay… So begging didn't work." Ojama Yellow spoke to him. "Maybe we should try negotiating?"

"No… If Jaden wants a duel… There is no negotiating! You just gotta man up and accept the challenge!"

"I agree completely, Chazz!" Said the imaginary Jaden. "It's time you give this girl me the duel of her life! I know you can do it, buddy!"

Chancellor Shiraki spoke again. Her right arm is in the air. "Let the Sudden Expulson match…" She brings her arm down. "BEGIN!"

DUEL

Jaden Yuki - 8000 LP

VS

Chazz Princeton - 8000 LP

"I'm going to start things off." Said Jaden as she drew her starting hand. "From my hand… I activate the effect of my Vision Hero Faris!"

Chazz took a step back. "Vision… Heroes?"

"Heyyy… On second thought, maybe we should try enrolling in some other Duel Academy?" Suggested the imaginary Jaden. "Because, you know, I have NO idea what those heroes are!"

Jaden continues. "I special summon Faris by sending an Elemental Hero monster from my hand to the graveyard. When Faris is summoned, I can send Vision Hero Increase from my deck to my spell/trap zone!

Now for Increase's effect! I tribute Faris to special summon it, which will allow me to summon my Vision Hero Vyon from my deck! Now for Vyon's effect I send Elemental Hero Lady Heat from my deck to my graveyard!"

Chazz scratches his head. "If my Jaden was as strong as she is… I'd want to be his best friend on day one." "Aw, you really mean that, Chazz?"

"I'll now activate my Polymerization!" Yells Jaden. "I fuse together Vision Heroes Increase and Vyon… along with Yubel in my hand!"

"WAIT!" Chazz yells at her. "Did you say… YUBEL!?"

His yelling only confuses Jaden. "Uh… Yeah… Do you… Have any history with a Yubel before?"

Chazz shook his head. "Believe me, buddy. It's a LONG depressing story. My friend… Your male counterpart went through so much! I don't wanna get into it."

"Well thanks for being considerate." Said Jaden as she sends her monsters to the graveyard. From my extra deck… I fusion summon Yubel - The Loving Defender Forever! (ATK: 0)"

Chazz looks at Jaden's monster. The imaginary Jaden spoke up. "Wow. It's like if Yubel fused herself with Flame Wingman! Does she really love me that much?" "The fuck should I know?"

"Also, when she's fusion summoned, you take 500 points of damage for each material used to summon her!"

Yubel leaps forward and hits Chazz in the face. "AH!"

Chazz Princeton - 6500 LP

Jaden smirked. "I think that'll be enough damage for now. I end my turn."

Chazz then looks back towards Alex, who then shouts at him. "She's got nothing on you, Chazz! Show her what you've learned!"

"Right! My move!" Chazz draws a card from his deck. "I summon… My Rescue Cat, but he's not going to stay on the field for long, because I'm gonna tribute him to special summon two level 3 or lower beast type monsters from my deck! And here they are!"

Jaden's eyes widen as she sees the monsters on Chazz's field. "Uh… What are those?"

Ojama Green then speaks to her. "Hiya, toots! The name's Ojama Green! And you're gonna be in a world of hurt when the boss is done with you!"

Beside him, Ojama Black spoke. "The boss isn't the only one who's been learning things all night!"

"Now then!" Chazz points at the Ojamas. "Show her what we've learned!"

"Yes sir!" "Right away, sir!" The Ojama brothers lept in the air. "Over!" "Lay!" "Over!" "Lay!" "Over!" "Lay!"

Chazz smirks. "With Ojama Green and Ojama Black… I build the overlay network! I xyz summon a Rank 2 monster!"

Ojama Green and Ojama Black remove themselves from the field and in their place is a monster that looks much more menacing. "Number 45: Crumble Logos The Prophet of Destruction! (ATK: 2200)"

Jaden gasps. "Wait a minute. That card belongs… to…"

She looks over at Alex, who's looking like he's having the time of his life. He brings a hand to his face and softly speaks. "It's party time."

"Yeah, that's right." Said Chazz. "Alex had no use for this card until I came along. He said it'd be better off in my hands! Now I'll use Number 45's effect! Negating Yubel's effects! Now it's time for my Battle Phase!"

Unable to fall asleep, Jaden looks over the Lunalight cards he spread out in front of him.

Concerned, Yubel spoke to him. "You're not seriously considering going after him again, are you?"

"He wants me to be stronger." Jaden told her. "I want me to be stronger too, but I just can't seem to figure out some of these finer details here. Nobody else has these cards and-" "Ah-Ahhhh!"

Jaden then sees Yubel clutching her chest in what looks like pain. "Yubel! Are you… Are you alright!?"

Yubel looks up at the ceiling. "Something is going on in one of those other worlds… I can feel it… Somehow."

Jaden lets out a sigh. "I can only hope Chazz is okay."

Jaden Yuki - 5800 LP

"It's gonna take more than that to beat me, Chazz." She said to him.

"I'm counting on it." Chazz looks down at his hand. "I end my turn."

"I did good, didn't I, boss?" Ojama Green spoke to him. "Gotta focus!"

Jaden draws a card. "My move! I activate a spell card! A Hero Lives! By paying half of my life points, I can special summon a level 4 or lower hero monster from my deck!"

Jaden Yuki - 2900 LP

"Not so fast!" Chazz shouts. "I learned many things during my time with Alex and his friends, and THIS is one of them: I activate the effect of Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring from my hand! Negating you special summoning from the deck!"

"So you've learned to use hand traps. Big deal. Luckily, I have a response to that. I activate my quick play magic! Called By The Grave! Ash's effects are negated and I get my special summon!"

"Damn it!" Alex swore. "I didn't think Jaden would ever get that card. Let alone play it."

Jaden continues. "From my deck… I special summon Elemental Hero Bubble Lady!"

"Huh?" Chazz looks at Jaden's monster. He wasn't expecting this.

"Since she's the only card on my field, I can draw two cards." Said Jaden as she drew more cards. "I'll now activate… My Visionary Fusion! By paying 1000 life points, I can banish Elemental Heroes Burstinatrix and Lady Heat to fusion summon… Vision Hero Adoration! (ATK: 2800)

Jaden Yuki - 1900 LP

Because of Adoration's effect, your monster loses 800 attack points due to Bubble Lady! Now I attack!"

Vision Hero Adoration easily destroys Chazz's monster. This is followed by Bubble Lady firing high pressure bubbles at him.

Chazz Princeton - LP 4300

Jaden smirks. "That's it for me… Go ahead and try to entertain me, Chazz."

"You want entertainment!? I'll give you entertainment! It's my move!" Chazz draws a card. "Just what I needed! I activate the field spell card, Union Hangar! Allowing me to fetch B - Buster Drake to my hand! I'll then summon it! And with the effect of Union Hangar, I can equip my Union Driver from my deck to it! Now for Union Driver's effect! By banishing it, I can equip a SECOND B - Buster Drake from my deck! Which I can then special summon! Now that I have two B - Buster Drakes I'll link them together to Link Summon… Platinum Gadget! (ATK: 1600)"

"Come on, Chazz!" Alex cheered him on. "Do it exactly like I taught you!"

Chazz continues. "Platinum Gadget's effect goes off, then my B - Buster Drakes go off in the graveyard. From my deck, I fetch A - Assault Core, and C - Crush Wyvern! Platinum Gadget allows me to special summon C - Crush Wyvern from my hand. Finally, I'll activate one more spell card: Unauthorized Reactivation! I Equip an A - Assault Core from my deck to C - Crush Wyvern!

NOW by banishing A - Assault Core and C - Crush Wyvern from my field, and B - Buster Drake from my graveyard, I can special summon my new favorite monster from my extra deck!

ABC DRAGON BUSTER! (ATK: 3000)"

"Oh, this isn't going to end well for me." Said Jaden as she looked up at the giant monster Chazz summoned.

"Dragon Buster's effect states that I can discard one card to banish one card on your field… So Adoration… goes bye-bye! Now I'll have Platinum Gadget attack your Bubble Lady and have Dragon Buster finish this duel!" "AH!"

Jaden Yuki - LP 0

After seeing his opponent fall to her knees. Chazz couldn't help but stand still. "Did I just… win?" He took one deep breath after another, but it seemed hard for him to believe. He went up against someone named Jaden Yuki, and won.

"You did it, Chazz!" Alex yelled at him. "You did it! Let's cheer him on, guys!"

Together, all five of them began chanting that familiar chant.

"CHAZZ IT UP! CHAZZ IT UP! CHAZZ IT UP!"

"Thank you… Thank you…" Chazz slowly waved at the five guys before walking up to Jaden. Who at this point is down on her knees. "Hey, that was a great duel, Jaden. I had so much fun. Let's duel again sometime… Just for the thrill."

He then sees her start to blush as she looks up at him. A moment later she accepted his hand and he pulled her up so that she's right next to him. Most of the audience is cheering him on at this point. He had earned his place at their academy just like the time he had earned his place back at North Duel Academy back in his first year.

Chazz was happy, but he couldn't keep all of his friends out of his mind. He had been taken away from them and no amount of dueling is going to change that fact.

"Chazz Princeton! Universe Alpha! Prepare yourself!"

That voice came out of nowhere. And in an instant, Chazz vanished in front of everyone.

"CHAZZ!" Jaden and Alex said in unison.

Chazz took in his surroundings and instantly deduced that he was in the underground cavern. Home of Duel Monster spirits.

In front of him, he sees a man with long, white hair, and armor that looks like it's been made in another world.

"First and foremost, Chazz… You may refer to me as Reinoheart. I plan to flood this earth and make my own world. One where aquatic life is always prosperous. Without threats from the surface."

Chazz raises an eyebrow. "Reinoheart? Stupid name… But I guess it really doesn't matter anyway… I can't let you flood this Earth. It's MY home as much as it is theirs!"

He then readys his duel disk. "I'm gonna make you WISH you never came here!"
