Yo, Ged here back with another chapter of my Camp Cretaceous story, I try to get the chapters out day by day. This one probably is gonna be pushed a day back, but you have to remember I'm managing school and the story.
"We thought it would be fun, we thought we'd be safe, but we didn't realize the horror waiting for us on the island." Says the voice of Darius who was telling a scary story at the camp fire.
"Claws, teeth, screaming, so much screaming." Darius says ominously.
"How much screaming." Says Ben interrupting the story only for Kenji to shush him.
"He's getting to the good part." Kenji says to Ben who was holding onto him.
"The T.rex stalked closer, her jaws opened wide." Darius says opening his arms, before he can continue the story a flash goes stopping him.
The group looks around confused until they realize culprit was Brooklynn, which should have been obvious.
"For the vlog, keep telling your little story." Brooklynn says recording without a care in the world.
Darius sighs and decides to continue. "The t.re-" Darius is cutoff by Brooklynn having an outburst.
"Dang, no space, I'm sorry hold on." Brooklynn said putting the story on pause.
"Oh come on man I just want to hear the story, is that so much to ask for." Geleel said slumping.
"Maybe I should start over." Darius says.
"No!, you could maybe not tell it at all." Says a frantic Ben.
"Dude chill, he's not even tellinhg the story right now, and how is your grip this strong." Kenji said trying to pry Ben's hands off him.
Geleel chuckles at them. "Hey Brooklynn, maybe you take a picture of them like that, they could make couple of the year." Geleel says with a smirk.
Ben looks at him confused, Kenji looks at him with despair.
Darius decides to tell his story again. "So the T.rex stalk-." Darius is once again cut off this time by Sammy.
"Shouldn't we call Yasmina over, I bet she'd love this story." Yasmina suggests as Darius lays on the bench tired of being interrupted.
"Well since we can't get through the story, I'll go get her." Geleel says making his way over to Yasmina.
"Oh no he's a goner...Yasmina definitely isn't the people type that likes people invading her privacy." Brooklynn says making everyone worried.
"In that case let's all say a prayer for Geleel." Kenji says putting his handa together.
"Uhh Kenji, why are you "praying" for me I'm perfectly fine..." Geleel says walking back over to the group with Yasmina.
Everyone looks over at the two confused.
Yasmina and Geleel look at eachother confused, they just shrug and sit down.
Before Darius can continue with the story lightning strikes and it begins to rain.
"Maybe we should head inside." Sammy suggests.
"Way ahead of you there." Said Ben already in the cabin.
Everyone else but Darius and Geleel follow.
Geleel notices Darius in a bad mood.
"Yo, Darius you okay?" Geleel asker concerned all he received was a nod as Darius went inside without a word.
Geleel just sighs and walks inside.
Inside the Cabin
Geleel is grabbing a granola bar but drops it as someone grabs a hold of his hand. He turns to see Sammy.
"Uhhh can I help you Sammy? " Geleel asked in utter confusion.
"Well, I was thinking, Yasmina needs a friend and you seem to understand her seeing as you were able to get her to agree to listening to the story with us." Sammy says making Geleel look at her puzzled.
"Ahh whatever just follow me." Sammy says dragging Geleel over to the couch Yasmina was.
"You need a friend!" Sammy exclaims startling Yasmina who didn't expect it.
Geleel finds himself on the opposite side from where Sammy was sitting.
Yasmina looks from Sammy to Geleel. "W-What?" She asked in general confusion.
"I'm such a ding dong, you're alone and when I'm alone a friend is all I need, or even better two friends." Sammy gesturing to Geleel. "I thought you were just too shy to make the first friendship move, so here I am." Sammy says making Yasmina look at Geleel in hopes of some clarification.
Geleel shrugs. "I can kinda see Sammy's point out of all of us I haven't seen you associate with anyone else in the group that much, unless you absolutely needed too." Geleel says clearing things up a bit.
"I'm gonna be honest, I lost you both at ding dong." Yasmina said lamely.
Sammy gasps. "Is that a scrapbook?, I love scrapbookin, we can make one together, pull you out of your shell." Sammy says eagerly.
"Um, I'm pretty happy in my shell." Yasmina says not on board with this.
"Trust me Yas(Geleel says giving her a new nickname) the "shell" isn't a fun place it could cause social anxiety and that isn't fun, trust me I have personal experience, I was just like you at one point." Geleel says as the other two look at him curiously.
He realized they wanted to hear the story. "Maybe another time girls." Geleel says as they both relented.
"Anyways, he's right Yas, nobody likes the shell it stops people from getting to know you." Sammy says trying to reason with Yasmina.
"Bingo." Yasmina says getting up and leaving.
"I know your just shy!" Sammy yells to Yasmina.
"Can't hear you in my shell!" Yasmina retorts.
Sammy looks to Geleel for his thoughts.
"Uhh give her time, I'm sure she'll come around." Geleel says reassuring Sammy.
The next day
The group is walking in a big plain/field of some sort, the weather seems cloudy but the sun is poking through some areas.
"We get to drive gyrospeheres?, cool" Darius says in an excited tone.
"Saddle up dudes and dudettes, we're going on a cattle drive, but with dinosaursss, it's a dino drive!" Dave announces.
"And, just to be clear all these dinosaurs are herbivores right?" Ben asked shakily.
"Well, they only chewed on the last kid little, so we're like ninety-nine percent sure their cool." Roxie says making Ben groan.
"Park personnel are moving the group of dinosaurs to fresh grazing lands across the island and we get to ride along behind the herd." Roxie informs the group.
"Are you kidding me, dinosaur migration patterns are my jam." Darius says causing everyone to deadpan.
"You might want to consider a new jam bro." Kenji whispers to Darius.
"You sure these things are waterproofed, it looks like it's about to rain really hard." Geleel says to Dave and Roxie as he points to the clouds.
"Yea he's right I mean hair this awesome does not come easy." Kenji says grabbing one of Geleel's locks only for Geleel to slap his hand away immediately.
"Your hair will be okay, storm has already moved up the coast away from us." Dave says reassuring Kenji.
"Cool, time to show these fools what a gyrospehere master can do." Kenji says walking over to Brooklynn's gyrospehere.
"No way, you're riding with Ben, as a passenger." Roxie says grabbing a hold of Kenji.
"What...but he's so-" Kenji cuts himself off as they both watch Ben accidentally slam face first into the gyrospehere.
"Live it up tough guy." Roxie says as Geleel notices something.
"Umm if everyone is getting paired up wouldn't that leave an odd man out? there's seven of us." Geleel says doing basic math.
"Well it's funny you say that because we realized that too so we took the liberty of requesting...the first ever three seated gyrospehere." Said Dave pointing to a gyrospehere that was bigger than the rest due to the fact it had three seats.
"Well isn't that just innovative." Geleel says.
"By the way Geleel you'll be riding with Sammy and Yasmina in that one." Roxie says as Geleel looks at Sammy and Yasmina.
Sammy smiles at him, he returns a small one.
Yasmina looks at him blankly, he returns the look.
All three of them get into the gyrospehere. Yasmina in the middle, Sammy to the right seat, and Geleel in the left seat.
"Now we're all in a shell together, a shell for three." Sammy says happily.
"Yayyy." Yasmina says sarcastically.
"Try to contain your excitement Yasmina." Geleel replies sarcastically himself.
Brooklyn and Darius are in their gyrospehere in complete silence making it very awkward.
"So, have your followers went back up?" Darius asked trying to start a conversation with her.
"Nope." She replies plainly making Darius deflate.
"Everyone seat belts and ride safely." Dave said to everyone.
"Channel six is for emergencies, let the herding begin!" Roxie announces.
The group takes off smoothly. All except one.
As Ben and Kenji come by spinning due to Ben's horrible driving Kenji deadpans at Roxie.
Roxie just smiles awkwardly and waves.
The group rides along side the herd of diverse dinosaurs. Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Cinoceratops, all kinds of creatures.
"What's your favorite color, favorite food, favorite color of food?" Asks rapidly to Yasmina.
"Orange, Orange, and Orange." Yasmina says sarcastically.
Geleel chuckles. "Woah who knew Yasmina had a sense of humor." Geleel says as Yasmina glares at him slightly.
Sammy laughs. "Jokes I love jokes, ooo what do you and your friends do for fun?" Sammy asks again.
"I train, alone, quietly." Yasmina responds stoicly.
"That sounds like so much...fun." Geleel says.
"Well what about you Geleel? do you have any hobbies other than basketball?" Sammy asks Geleel.
Geleel nods. "Well I write songs sometimes but I never showed them to anyone so I don't know if they're any good." Geleel informs them.
"Oh I know, maybe you should sing one for us right now." Sammy says putting Geleel on the spot.
Yasmina looks at him curious to see if he would.
"I don't know Sammy, I never did something like this." Geleel says in a bashful tone.
"Aww please Geleel." Sammy asks pleadingly.
"Fine fine." Geleel says before clearing his throat.
(The song he sang was deep wounds by polo g you guys can go listen to it right now to make the scene make sense or keep reading).
"Wow that was actually really good." Yasmina says giving small claps.
"Well, I loved it!" Sammy says clapping loudly much to Yasmina's dismay.
"This is gonna be a long day." Yasmina mutters to herself.
With Darius and Brooklynn
"How awesome is this, we're like so close. Brooklynn?" Dariud asked realizing she wasn't responding.
Brooklynn couldn't respond because she was too caught up in her comments from her videos. It was nothing but a bunch of hate comments.
"Uh hey can you believe that ankylosaurus' tail is strong enough to shatter bone?" Darius says trying to change the topic.
"Can you believe I don't care!?" Brooklynn rhetorically snapped at him.
Darius goes quiet as she glares at him.
Brooklynn having realized what she did sighs.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm just having one of those days." Brooklynn says making Darius look at her.
"There's a lot of pressure when you're whole life is about being popular, I'm not like you, I can't just tell a lame story and move on." Brooklynn says not caring.
"It wasn't that lame." Darius muttered.
"Trust me, it was, but you're not even phased, I just need people to like-" Brooklynn cuts herself off making Darius look at her weirdly.
"You wouldn't understand." Brooklynn says turning from him.
"Well if you need people to like you I don't see why you're upset because people do like you, I'msure most of the group thinks your cool, even though Geleel has a weird way or showing it but he does. We all like you Brooklynn, I like you..." Darius says making Brooklynn blush and look surprised.
"Woah wait not like that- I mean not that you aren't pretty- because you are but why would I like you like that...hehehe." Darius says frantically as Brooklynn just laughs at his stuttering state.
"Thanks...Darius." Brooklynn says surprisingly not calling him dino nerd.
With Ben and Kenji
"Ofcourse I don't understand, because you are literally the worse driver I have ever seen bruh." Kenji says talking about Ben's lame driving skills.
"If by worst you mean safest, then yes, yes I am." Ben says going even slower.
"So not a compliment, now come on, faster, faster, faster!!!" Kenji groans.
With Ben and Roxie
Lightning strikes and clouds begin to darken.
"I thought you said the storm rolled up the coast." Roxie says annoyed.
"Eh must've rolled back down, it's okay, other than messing up Geleel's hair what's the worst that can happen." Dave says reassuringly.
Lightning strikes spooking them both. The dinosaurs are also spooked, which results in a stegosaurus hitting and ankylosaurus with it's spiked tail by accident.
Dave and Roxie drive ahead of the group and stop them.
"Hey gang, new plan, storm's getting worse, so we're heading back to camp, sounds like fun right." Dave says.
"Are you serious?!" Darius asks/yell.
"Don't blame me blame the storm." Dave retorts.
"I blame both." Roxie says from inside the car.
"I second that notion." Geleel adds in agreeing with Roxie.
"We're not gonna let a little rain stop us are we?, when else doe we get the chance to ride along side a herd of dinosaurs?" Darius says.
"Uhh Darius the dinosaurs aren't going anywhere, we can literally do this anytime, that isn't when the weather is like this ofcourse." Geleel retorts.
"Geleel's right and besides we can't risk anything in a storm this bad D." Dave says.
"But Dave I'm sure under you and Roxie's capable leadership-." Darius is cutoff.
"This is not up for discussion." Roxie says dismissively.
Roxie then gets static from her walkie talkie.
"Uh hello, Roxie here, can you hear me, anyone?" Roxie says into the speaker but gets no response other than some broken message.
"Okay, new new plan, storm's interfering with the radio, so Rox and I will drive ahead and tell the others we'll be pulling out. Stay together, and stay behind the herd." Dave tells the group.
The campers get back in there gyrospeheres.
Lightning strikes once more spooking them.
A cinoceratops is also startled. She begins to run away from her herd in fear.
"That cinoceratops is gonna get lost, we need to go after her." Darius says concerned for the poor creature.
"You heard Dave, let's just chill out and wait here." Brooklynn retorts.
"I've read everything about cinoceratops behavior, we can get her, plus your followers might really love a thrilling dino chase." Darius says manipulatively.
Brooklynn gains a smirk at the thought of filming a dino chase. They take off after the cinoceratops.
"Wait are you guys going after her?" Sammy asked concerned.
"No Sammy I'm sure there just chasing the ice cream truck." Geleel replies sarcastically.
Yasmina chuckles slightly catching Sammy by surprise.
"Welp we should go after them in case they get themselves into trouble." Geleel says taking control of the gyrospehere to follow them.
Kenji looks at Ben with a smirk.
"Oh, no way-" Ben is cutoff by Kenji.
"Hehe I'll drive." Kenji says pushing the gyrospehere into maximum speed.
The group is chasing the cinoceratops and almost catching up to it.
Brooklynn is recording the whole chase.
"Almost got ya girl." Darius says looking at Brooklynn then the dinosaur.
As he said this the cinoceratops switches lanes causing them to slightly crash into a boulder, but continue driving since they didn't sustain much damage.
This causes Brooklynn to almost drop her phone. "Sorry that was close." Darius apologizes.
Brooklynn just stares for a moment before she grabs the gum from her mouth and sticks it to the back of her phone, she the sticks the phone to the platform at the front of the gyrospehere.
"Voila, instant phone mount." Brooklynn says.
"Great idea, also ewww." Darius says both impressed and grossed out.
"Just keeo driving dino nerd." Brooklynn says but in a playful tone not a mean one.
"Sure thing superstar." Darius replies.
"For some reason I think this will go horribly wrong.." Geleel says randomly.
"Let's all settle down we don't wanna get too close or el-" Sammy is cutoff as Kenji drives by and almost hits them.
"Watch it Ben!" Yasmina says annoyed.
"Yea, you almost hit us!" Geleel adds on.
"That wasn't me!, you're gonna get us both killed." Ben says fighting Kenji for the controls.
"With you driving we'll die of boredom." They both keep fighting making the gyrospehere go out of control.
"Someone flank her on the other side we'll be able to lead her back to the herd." Darius states.
"Wait you'll scare he-" Sammy is cutoff as Kenji gets infront of their gyrospehere.
"Let the big dogs handle this cowgirl." Kenji says as he drives to the opposite side of the cinoceratops.
"I'll cut her off, it'll be fine Sammy." Darius says reassuringly.
"No, he's gonna make her bolt, this isn't the way to do this." Sammy tries to get Darius' attention.
"Uhh I don't know but shouldn't we be listening to the person with actual herding knowledge." Geleel suggests, but his suggestion fell on deaf ears.
"Relax, Darius knows dinosaurs." Yasmina says as she moves to follow the others.
Darius stops his gyrospehere infront of the cinoceratops. The dinosaur gets upset and simply headbutts them into the rest of the herd.
This causes a stampede to happen.
With Dave and Roxie
"I mean they're disappointed but they'll get over it-" Dave is cutoff from his sentence as a parasaurolophus runs by in distress.
Soon more creatures also ran by in distress.
"We've got multiple assets straying from the herd." Said a female wrangler into a walkie talkie as she ran into action.
Roxie looks up and gasps as she sees the vehicle which was parked on top of a ledge bout to fall on them due to a cinoceratops ramming into it.
"Move!" she says as she grabs Dave and get them both out of danger.
Back with the campers
Everyone is screaming as they are all caught in the stampede.
"Stego twelve O'clock, tail, tail, tail!" Sammy said urgently.
"Hang on." Geleel says as he tries to swerve the dinosaur traffic.
"I wanna go home!" Ben yells.
Darius and Brooklynn are in front of a forest but unsure of if they should go in there. They turn to see the herd heading that way.
"Go, go, go!" Brooklynn exclaims as they take off into the forest.
"Low branch comin right at us." Sammy says scared.
"I see it Sammy, just let me concentrate I got this." Geleel says firmly.
Lightning then strikes knocking a tree over in front of them. They bump into it and then back up out of the way of the herd.
"A-Are we alive?" Sammy asked frantically.
"Well considering I can still here us breathing heavily I'd say we're very much alive." Geleel replies.
"Nice driving Mr. all star." Yasmina says giving Geleel a little punch to the arm.
"Thanks trackstar." Geleel replies rubbing his arm
With Kenji and Ben
Kenji and Ben are arguing over who should be driving until Ben relents. "Okay fine you drive, just get us outta here." Ben says annoyed.
"Final-" Kenji was about to celebrate until they crashed and landed upside down.
"Well atleast we're safe right?" Ben says as Kenji deadpans at him.
With Brooklynn and Darius
They come to a stop in a clearing. They uncontrollably pant. "I think we lost em." Darius said in between breaths.
"I think we lost everyone." Brooklynn says realizing nobody was with them. Darius gasps.
"Look." He says turning the gyrospehere to the cinoceratops.
""Okay think cinoceratops are faster on open grounds, so we just need to corner her, then we can get her back to the herd." Darius states.
"Great, here we go another Brooklynn exclusive, keep watching cause its about to get real." Brooklynn says the her fans loudly. She gets out of the gyrospehere with no care.
"Wait wait, Brooklynn wait!" Darius whispers/yells going after her.
The dinosaur simply roars and gets aggressive making them run back to the gyrospehere in fear.
"Too real, too real." Brooklynn says frantically
The cinoceratops charges them and rams it's horn right into the gyrospehere causing a puncture in the glass. After shaking the gyrospehere around it finally gets it off its horn and the gyrospehere goes flying.
Darius and Brooklynn scream as they're spinning out of control.
They finally come to a stop and let out frantic breaths of relief. After awhile they begin to start laughing, happy that they were alive.
Brooklynn feeling extra happy gives Darius a big hug. Darius is shocked at first but he returns it. The two seperate with slight blushes on their face but they were still smiling.
Until they realized they were sinking in something.
"H-Huh Darius said confused until he realized they were in a mud pit.
With Sammy, Yasmina, and Geleel
The three were trying to to remove debris and branches from the gyrospehere.
"Good news, this gives us a lot more time to get to know eachother." Sammy says happily.
"We should do that, later, much much later. First we nee-." Yasmina is cut off as Geleel shushes them.
A walkie talkie is trying to radio them.
"We're stuck...mudhole...sinking...help." Said the voice of Brooklynn but the message was breaking up as the radio was probably still messed up.
"Brooklynn, Brooklynn can you hear me, where are you?" Sammy asked only to receive static.
"Come on let's go, we have to find them they sound like they're in trouble." Geleel says as the other two nod and they head off to search for them.
"Brooklynn, Darius, guys, can you hear us?!" Yasmina and Sammy shout as Geleel gets an idea from the branches.
"Hey wait, these branches pile them up, pile it up, all of it just keep piling." He said as he grabbed a bundle and started the pile.
Yasmina and Sammy didn't question it they just helped him no questions asked.
As they finished the pile they hopped back into the gyrospehere and used the wood pile as a ramp and Geleel drove the gyrospehere over it and they were back on track.
"We're coming Brooklynn." Sammy said.
"Hello, hello, can anybody hear me!" Yasmina yells into her comm.
"Still no sign of...Ben and Kenji?" Sammy says as Geleel stops on a dime to avoid flattening them.
Ben grabs onto to Kenji. "Let go of m-" Kenji tries to push Ben off.
"No!" Ben says holding his grip.
Kenji deadpans at the others.
"If only Brooklynn was here to take a picture of this, anyways hop in." Geleel says opening the doors.
As they were on the move again space was a noticeable issue.
"I know this gyrospehere was made for an extra person, but I don't think it meant two extra people..." Ben says as he was being crushed sort of.
"I lost them it's just static." Sammy who was seated literally on top of Kenji says trying to get a hold of Darius and Brooklynn.
Geleel stops the gyrospehere as they hear cries.
"Help, someone please!" The faint voice of Brooklynn yells.
"I hear them...they're over there." said Kenji pointing to the right. Geleel then turns the gyrospehere right as they head off in that direction.
With Brooklynn and Darius
They kick at the door trying to get it open.
"It won't budge, the mud is jamming the door shut." Darius says giving up almost.
"Try driving out again." Brooklynn suggests.
"It will only sink us more." Darius retorts.
"Well then you think of something, "Mr. lets go corner the dinosaur." Brooklynn yells as the mud makes the gyrospehere flip over causing them to fall.
"Anybody help, noo!" Brooklynn yells.
They both stop trying and look at eachother. They both have looks of defeat as Brooklynn breaks into tears and Darius looks at her saddened.
"Brooklynn Darius!, are you there?!" Says the voice of Sammy over the comm link.
Brooklynn and Darius listen in.
"Hello Sammy?" Darius questions/adresses.
"Do you read me? we're coming to help." Sammy said as Brooklynn and Darius look outside to see the rest of the group.
"Help!, we're in here!" Darius and Brooklynn yell together.
Kenji and Yasmina run over to the gyrospehere to try and pull them out.
"Roxie, Dave, this is a real emergency here." Ben says urgently into his comm.
"I can't grab a hold of it." Yasmina says struggling.
"It's too heavy!" Kenji says also struggling.
"It's gonna pull you under get out." Geleel yells.
The two quickly run out of the mud.
"Uhh guys?" Ben says alerting everyone to the presence of the cinoceratops.
The cinoceratops let's out a roar startling the group.
"What if...I've got an idea." Sammy says grabbing a branch with leaves on it.
"What are you doing?" Yasmina asks.
Sammy gives no response she just walks up to the cinoceratops and offers it the branch.
The creature roars making Sammy back up startled.
Sammy tries again. "Hey, I get it, it's hard to trust strangers, it's a scary world out there, I'll trust you, if you trust me, I'm not gonna hurt you." Sammy says making her way over to the creature until her hand touches it's snout. This makes Yasmina's eyes widen in shock.
The cinoceratops takes a bite out of the branch.
Geleel walks up to them with a vine in his hand. "We tried to help you get back to your friends, I think it's only fair you help get our friends back, what do you say?" Geleel questions as the creature roars softly almost like it agrees.
He then begins rapping one end of the vine around the cinoceratops' horn.
"Alright guys come on we gotta get this vine tied firmly around the gyrospehere he said as the others begin helping.
They tied the vine together all the way up till the last person which was Kenji, Kenji hoists the rope over the gyrospehere, the rope is pulled into the gyrospehere by Brooklynn as Darius straps it to the seats.
"Sammy make the cinoceratops go the other direction." Geleel orders.
"On it." Sammy replies grabbing another branch.
"Come on guys, pull!." Geleel responds as the group and the cinoceratops are pulling with all their might.
"Come on!" Geleel says as the gyrospehere begins to get pulled up after some struggle and hard work the gyrospehere gets out of the mud.
Yasmina uses a branch to wedge the door open freeing Darius and Brooklynn.
"Heyy." Darius says awkwardly.
Yasmina starts laughing and whooping.
"Well wasn't that some great teamwork." Sammy compliments Geleel.
"Yup, playing the sport of basketball teaches you the importance of teamwork, by yourself you can do a lot, but with the help of other's there's nothing you can't do." Geleel says as the other's simply just look dumbfounded by his words of wisdom.
"Wow, that was deep bro." Kenji says dramatically.
Geleel just chuckles at his childishness.
Dave and Roxie drive up in a park jeep.
"Hey look, it's Dave and Roxie!" exclaimed Sammy.
"Uhh Sammy not so sure we should be celebrating they don't look too happy, especially Roxie." Geleel whispers the last part.
Back at the cabin
"You could have been killed, what were you thinking?!" Roxie yells/asked.
"That we found a lost dinosaur, and Darius and Brooklynn." Sammy says smugly.
"Don't ask me how I did it, but I did it." Kenji says even more smugly.
"Why do they choose to anger the woman more, I'm surprised she didn't put one of us in a chokehold yet..." Geleel mutters to himself as he walks behind the rest of the group.
"Now stay in your bunks, you hear me." Roxie stated rhetorically.
The door shuts as she sends them up the elevator.
At the top
Yasmina walks up next to Sammy clearing her throat.
"I-, if everyone would have listened to you, if I had listened to you we wouldn't have had any problems, I'm not so great at...trusting new people." Yasmina states awkwardly.
"I don't know about that one, you seemed to have trusted Geleel pretty easily." Sammy said bluntly causing Yasmina to get flustered.
"W-Well that's because rather than bombarding me or shoving a camera in my face he actually tried to approach me normally.." Yasmina responded as Sammy saw her logic.
"I heard my name?" Geleel says walking out onto the terrace.
"Oh uhh hey Geleel." Yasmina said awkwardly, Sammy took notice of her mood change when Geleel was around.
"Well what are we talking about guys?" Geleel intrudes on their conversation.
Yasmina sighs. "My favorite color is black, my favorite food is pizza, and...this is what I've been doing." Yasmina says handing the book to them.
Sammy grabs a hold of it and they her amazing sketches.
"I started drawing to kill time during track meets, I'm not very good so you probably won't like them." Yasmina says doubting her skill.
"I don't like them, I love them." Sammy says dramatically.
Yasmina smiles, she then looks at Geleel for his thoughts on them.
"Well you share something in common with your drawings." Geleel says puzzling both girls.
"Both are beautiful." Geleel says bluntly as Yasmina blushes and Sammy smiles and pulls them both into hugs.
"I just knew we were gonna be friends." Sammy said happily.
"Not...really..a hugger." Yasmina says feeling uncomfortable.
"You are now!" Sammy exclaims happily.
"Lungs...can't...breathe." Geleel says as Sammy let's go and he coughs to regain his breath.
Sammy and Yasmina chuckle at this.
Inside
Darius sits on the couch.
Brooklynn approaches him. "I managed to get all the mud off...which is more than I can say for these finger nails, never a dull day at camp cretaceous right." Brooklynn says as she sits next to him.
Darius doesn't respond he just holds his head low.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Brooklynn asked concerned for him.
"I thought I knew everything about dinosaurs, but, all I did was mess up today. I just wanted-." Brooklynn cuts Darius off.
"People to like you." She finishes his sentence for him.
"Yea, guess we have that in common." Darius says solemnly.
"Well it's like you said Darius, I'm sure everyone here thinks your cool, and I like you too." Brooklynn says causing him to look at her with a blush.
Brooklynn takes a photo of his face and says nothing to him she just walks off as he stares at her confused.
As Brooklynn is checking the footage on her phone she notices Sammy is doing something weird. She notices Sammy swabbing the cinoceratops' mouth.
"What the heck?" Brooklynn asks to herself.
