Yo, Today I don't really have an so I guess all I have to say is enjoy the story. On with the story.
As the van is left in a smoking heap the campers are inside unconscious from the collision. They all begin to stir waking up with groans of pain.
Bumpy bleets in distress, she's never experienced a car crash before so this is expected.
"Is every okay?" Darius asks as Yasmina looks at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Is everyone okay?" She asked with a hysterical laugh opening the door and getting out of the van walking away.
"Yas, wait, where are you going!" Sammy says getting out of the van to chase after her.
The rest of the group gets out but they didn't chase they instead checked on the car.
"Yas, just calm down we'll be oka-" Sammy tries to say but she cuts her off.
"We are not okay, we are out in the jungle with a monster dinosaur out there, and you-" Yasmina cuts herself off as she turns to look Sammy. "You-" Yasmina is cut off again this time by Brooklynn.
"Destroyed our only way to get help and lied about it, I told you guys!" Brooklynn exclaims.
"So you did take Brooklynn's phone?, why what were you doing with it?" Darius interjects.
"Probably trying to erase the footage of her taking those samples from the Sinoceratops, and you knew about the Indominus Rex, because you were sneaking around Dr. Wu's lab when I ran into you, I knew it!" Brooklynn exclaims getting in Sammy's face.
"I didn't mean to destroy the phone, I fell on it when the zipline came down." Sammy responds defending herself.
"But you did steal it, you had it that whole time, and didn't tell us." Ben said sadly.
"Hold up, what were you doing in the lab Brooklynn?" Darius asks Brooklynn.
"I...it doesn't matter I didn't break our only way to call for help and then lie about it, this is not my fault!, this is her fault!" Brooklynn yells as Sammy holds her head.
"I'm here to spy." Sammy finally tells the truth getting it off her chest. "For a company called manticorp." Sammy says solemnly.
"Manticorp?, they're a bio engineering company, big rivals with Masrani, they try to make dinosaurs too but Wu beat them too it." Darius says informing everyone.
"You put us all in danger for the benefit of some lazy company that couldn't put the work in to get what they wanted." Geleel asked in a hushed yet clearly upset tone.
"My ranch was in trouble so my family had to borrow money from some shady people, we didn't know they were fronting for manticorp, they said we'd lose everything unless I spied for them, the behind scenes access I'd get at camp to gather info from Wu's lab, gather DNA from dinosaurs, and whatever else they needed." Sammy confessed pausing for a second.
"But then Brooklynn caught on, and I got scared, and everything...went wrong, this is the last thing I wanted." Sammy says looking Yasmina in the eyes.
"Oh, to be next to a broken van on killer dinosaur island, hey me too, what are the odds." Yasmina says with sarcasm.
"Yas I-" Sammy tries to speak but Yasmina cuts her off.
"Was it all a lie, wanting to be friends, pretending to be friends?, you just needed someone to hide what you were doing, tell me I'm wrong." Yasmina says as Sammy begins sobbing.
"I'm such an idiot." Yasmina says walking away.
"You are wrong, I just didn't know how to say it, just because I spied doesn't change who I am." Sammy says grabbing Yasmina's shoulder as Yasmina wrenches her shoulder out of Sammy's grasp.
"Don't touch me, go away Sammy." Yasmina says with no remorse.
Sammy simply stares at in shock as she whimpers and runs away.
Geleel sighs. "Kenji, go get Sammy, right now we need to all stick together, because if we don't we're definitely not making it out alive, especially seeing as with the van out of commission our chances of survival are miniscule now." Geleel says as Kenji nods and runs after Sammy.
Yasmina walks back over to group as Bumpy nuzzles her legs and bleets. "Not now Bumpy." Yasmina says feeling sad and not in the mood to play.
"Look I know the situation we're in is suboptimal-" Ben starts but is cutoff by Brooklynn.
"It's trash, just say it's trash Ben." Brooklynn says holding her forehead.
"Yea but despite the obvious trashitude-" Ben is cutoff as Bumpy jumps up to his chest like a dog bleeting in distress.
"What's wrong with Bum-" Geleel starts but his question is cutoff as the Indominus roars as it makes it's presence known to them as they start clearing the way. Sammy and Kenji who just returned join them in hiding. However to everyone's shock, the Indominus leaves them alone it simply just keeps running.
"Oh so what?, we're just not good enough anymore?" Geleel asked before they hear a chopper. They look up to see a chopper chasing the Indominus shooting at it.
"Masrani's helicopter, that's his call sign on the tail." Kenji informs them.
"They're shooting at the Indominus!" Darius says as he and the group start running to see the outcome.
As the chopper is chasing and shooting at the Indominus it keeps running as ir roars in pain.
Suddenly a loud noise surprises the campers who stopped realizing it was safer from a far distance.
"What was that?" Brooklynn asked receiving shrugs.
"Yea, kick it's butt, Masrani!, woo-hoo we're saved, I told you gu-" Kenji is cutoff as Masrani's helicopter spins out of control crashing into an aviary dome obviously killing him in the process and freeing the pterosaurs in it.
"You were saying genius?" Geleel asked as Kenji had obviously spoken too soon.
As the Pteranodons fly towards they start to panic. " With those Pteranodons loose we're sitting ducks!" Darius exclaims.
Kenji takes the tablet from Brooklynn. "The kayak river, the entrance is near here it goes underground beneath the ridge if we follow it it'll take us right to the main park." Kenji informs everyone.
"Then that's where we have to be." Geleel says as he motions for them to run towards the kayak river. They begin running but Darius and Ben run back to get Bumpy who stayed for some reason.
"Come on Bumpy." Darius said straining as he and Darius ran carrying her.
As the group is running a Pteranodon swoops down just barely missing them as they ducked.
"Come on!" Kenji exclaimed taking a sharp right into the jungle.
Yasmina feeling a need to speed up takes the tablet from Kenji. "Hurry up!" She yells taking the lead.
As Darius and Ben are running with Bumpy they fall down because of her weight.
"There it is!" Exclaimed Brooklynn as they made it.
Geleel realizing Darius and Ben had fell turns around to help them. "Come on guys we don't have all the time man!" Geleel yells helping them up as they start to run again as a Pteranodon lands trying to catch them.
They make it through and lock the gate as the Pteranodon smacks beak first into the gates.
Geleel winces dramatically "Ouch he'll be feeling that in the morning." He quips as everyone chuckles at his quip.
"Jurassic world river and entrance, prepare yourself for the wonder of the underground river, you must be seated at all times, have your life vest on at all times, adults make sure your campers are strapped in before departure." A voice says over a loud speaker.
Everyone grabs and life jacket and puts it on.
Sammy is about to get in the same kayak as Yasmina but Yasmina simply blocks her path not saying a word. Sammy moves on to the next Kayak which housed Kenji.
Geleel gets in Yasmina's kayak as she frowns and he looked at her neutrally.
Ben struggles to get Bumpy into a smaller kayak since he's the only one paddling so having a two seater would be difficult as the sole paddler.
Darius helps get Bumpy in(with reluctance from said baby dino) and then he gets into a kayak with Brooklynn as the group begins the departure.
Geleel noticing Yasmina stil frowning had to ask her an important question. "So you telling me you wouldn't do the same?" He asked with no correlation.
"What are you talking about?" Yasmina asked him with a puzzled look on her face now.
"You wouldn't lie, risk it all, decieve us all, for your family?" Geleel asks again as Yasmina's eyes opens wide. She knows for a fact she'd do anything for her family in a heartbeat.
"I-I would..." She replies stumbling on her words.
"Look, I get it Sammy lied, she put us all in danger, but put yourself in her shoes, you would do the same thing Yas." Geleel says having empathy for Sammy.
"Okay I see your point there, but it still hurts I thought I was on the route to having my first friend." Yasmina says as Geleel fake flinches.
"Wow, that hurts me Yas." Geleel says holding his hand to his heart dramatically.
"Well you too, but you know what I mean " Yasmina responds with a slight chuckle.
"I get ya, but seriously what do you mean don't you realize?, Sammy may have spied and lied, but her trying to be your friend and save you from loneliness was all her " Geleel says as Yasmina opens her eyes wide again conflicted.
"I'm not saying you have to forgive Sammy right away, I'm just saying you should try and put yourself in her shoes and give her a little bre-" Geleel is cutoff as Yasmina suddenly hugs him crying into his jersey.
Geleel says nothing he simply rubs her hair hugging her back with his other hand.
In Kenji and Sammy's boat the air is filled with nothing but quietness and depression. Kenji watching Sammy this sad really bothered him as he sighed.
"You know, I don't blame you for what you did, fully anyways." Kenji says as Sammy looks up at him wide eyed.
"I totally understand it, if my family was in big trouble like how you said they were I'm willing to give up everything, the money, clothes, even, my right arm to save them." Kenji says proudly as Sammy smiles at him.
"The only part I'm a little upset with is the phone and lying about it, we really could have used that phone in many situations, but it's all in the past now, I trust that Geleel and Darius will get us out alive." Kenji says as she hugs him for understanding her rather than shunning or being mad at her.
On Brooklynn and Darius' kayak it was a mixture of awkward and heated. Brooklynn being upset and Darius looking at her not knowing what to say.
Darius sighs. "I don't really know what to say now, Kenji and Geleel basically said all there is to say." Darius says, he could hear everything happening since the boats were ever so close.
Brooklynn sighs as she knew he was right.
"I understand their points, but it'll stilk take a while to forgive Sammy." Brooklynn says making Sammy look down sadly as she was still hugging Kenji.
"But?" Darius asked with a smirk.
"But, that doesn't mean it won't happen." Brooklynn says smirking as Sammy perks up.
"Thanks for being there dino-nerd, even though you didn't do much." Brooklynn says hugging Darius as he chuckles and blushes at the contact.
"Anytime superstar, anytime." He replies.
"Uhh guys the caves getting bigger...and brighter?" Ben asks/states.
As they're paddling through they notice a mini waterfall and pink bio luminescent rocks.
Bumpy roars in awe.
"Even with the glowy stuff it's still dark in here." Kenji says as Sammy shakes her head and removes his sunglasses. He frowns and takes them back to put them on.
"I think Bumpy's sea sick." Ben says noticing Bumpy in distress.
"Uhh Ben I suggest you paddle your boat is basically adrift right now." Geleel points out.
"I think we need to prepare for dino vomit." Ben retorts.
"You guys, should the algae be, moving?" Sammy asked concerned.
"Are those Parasaurolophus'" Geleel asked recognizing one of his favorite dinosaurs.
Kenji yelps in fear.
"Don't be scared guys they're herbivores, they won't try to harm us, unbelievable, Dr. Wu must've inserted the bio luminescent gene into these Parasaurolophus'." Darius announces.
"That's pretty cool, I like Parasaurolophus' a lot but I've never seen glow in the dark ones." Geleel comments.
Bumpy starts roaring at the Parasaurolophuses as they roar back and then swim up to the boats.
Kenji yelps again and hits one with his paddle that got too close. "Kenji!" Sammy exclaims as he shrugged.
Yasmina looks like she was contemplating petting one. Geleel simply takes her hand from behind her and pets on of the dinosaurs she smiles at the dinosaur then him.
"Uhh these guys look a little aggressive." Ben says covering Bumpy. As he says that the Parasaurolophus begin to attack and push the kayaks around. This causes the group to scream at the assault.
The group didn't know what was going to happen next so they closed their eyes scared. The Parasaurolophus simply stopped and stared forward. After staring for about 5 seconds they get back in the water and swim away.
"Well that was...surpising." Geleel said honestly confused.
"Uhhh Alpha male to dread head and dino nerd where are you!" Kenji yells using their code names.
"Over here!, I think something scared the Parasaurolophuses." Darius responds.
"So shouldn't that mean we should be scaded of what's to come too?" Geleel asked as everyone looked on in fear.
"Uhh guys, if we stopped paddling, why are we still moving foward." Sammty questions.
"Ahh paddle there's a current pulling us into another tunnel!" Darius says as everyone begins to paddle frantically but the current is too strong as they still fall down the tunnel into a new body of water.
"We're okay, we're okay." Ben said in relief.
Kenji gasps scared. "Why did you gasp, that gasp didn't sound very good Kenji." Geleel says now on edge.
"I know exactly where we are guys...we're in the jurassic world lagoon." Kenji says darkly.
"Isn't that where the Mosasaurus is.." Geleel says as Kenji gulps and nods. They then notice a huge tail flap in the distance.
A giant body then begins circling them in the water.
Brooklynn recognizes this behavior. "It's acting like a shark, testing us, we're inside it's domain, so it's investigating us before it-." Brooklynn is cut off as the Mosasaurus lets out a roar.
"This is very bad." Brooklynn says to Darius who was in front of her.
"We have to get out, now!" Kenji exclaims urgently.
"There's a ladder by the spectators stands." Darius points out.
"How are we gonna-." Ben starts but Sammy cuts him off.
"Uhh guys." Sammy says as the Mosasaurus swims right under them roaring again.
"Come on paddle! paddle!" Geleel exclaims as the group begins paddling trying to race a literal Mosasaurus.
"This is not how Kenji wanted to go out." Kenji says frantically.
"I don't think anyone wants this at all." Yasmina retorts.
"The kids must have gone in, the river leads to the main park right, there's no way that will pick up there signal under all that rock." Roxie says.
"I see em, I see em, they're not under there anymore, they're in Aquatic area one." Dave reads realizing the danger. Roxie realizes it too as she quickly drives off.
As the group is frantically trying to out run or out boat a Mosasaurus it seems like their paddling is futile as the Mosasaurus keeps up easily. Brooklynn and Darius have almost made it to the ladder. Darius looks back scared.
"Don't look back!" Brooklynn yells as they keep paddling they finally make it to the ladder and get up it quickly.
Ben and Bumpy arrive soon after they weren't moving as slow as the rest since they had a smaller boat, Darius and Brooklynn got their first cause they were in front.
As Geleel and Yasmina are paddling Yasmina turns around and notices the Mosasaurus focusing on Sammy and Kenji who had fallen behind.
"No." She said worriedly.
She then changes the direction of their kayak to a pole in the middle of the lagoon.
"Yas what are you doing?" Geleel asked confused.
"Whatever you do don't stop paddling." Before Geleel can respond Yasmina gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and gets on the platform smiling at him as he paddles away looking back at her with a sad expression.
Geleel makes it to the ladder and gets up there. "Come on, faster!" Brooklynn yells.
"Whatever you do, don't look back Sammy keep paddling!" Kenji yelled.
"I'm trying." Sammy said fearfully.
"What's Yasmina doing?" Kenji asked concerned.
"Hey, Hey!, over here, heyyy!" Yasmina exclaimed as she repeatedly banged the paddle against the pole she was standing on. This eventually gets the Mosasaurus' attention as it turns it's attention to her anf swims towards her.
As it swims towards her it allows Kenji and Sammy to escape easily.
"She's distracting it, while buying us time, keep going!" Kenji yells as they pick up the pace.
"Yes yes she did it!" Darius yells as everyone back on shore cheers.
"Now how is she gonna get here?" Ben asked in a fearful tone.
"I did not think this through." Yasmina says realizing the Mosasaurus swimming towards her.
Geleel hits a button on the control panek which ascends the chain in front of the pole she was standing on. "Grap onto the chain Yas!" Geleel yells as she does just that used the chain as a zipline of sorts, only issue was it wasn't moving very fast.
"Come on, come on, come on." Yasmina says trying to hurry the zipline up.
"She's not gonna make it." Kenji said in fear.
The Mosasaurus then jumps up trying to chomp down on Yasmina but misses her just barely. It does however snap the rope in two causing her to have swing on one end. This motion causes her to drop the tablet into the lagoon as it loses power due to water damage.
Yasmina swings all the way from the middle of the lagoon to the platform she let's go of the rope mid air and falls on the hard concrete right on her left ankle causing it to sprain. She winces in pain.
"Yasmina!" Sammy yells as the group runs over to check on Yasmina.
"I'm okay!" she responded before Geleel touches her ankle making her pull back with a moan of pain. "I think." She says unsure whether or not she was actually okay.
"Uhh also, where'd everyone go?" Ben points out how deserted the park was..
As Roxie and Dave are driving. "Rox it's gone, the kid's signal is gone." Dave alerts her.
"It's probably just a glitch right, reboot the system." Roxie says pleadingly.
Dave tries as nothing worked. Roxie just stopped suddenly taking the tablet from him. She tries rebooting the system too, still no trace of their signal.
"It's working, their signal just, stopped." Roxie says in a solemn tone.
As Yasmina is tending to her ankle Geleel is there to help her if needed. Sammy walks up to them.
"Thank you, for saving us, for saving us, for saving me, that was amazing, you're amaz-" Sammy is cutoff by Yasmina.
"Stop." Yasmina says as she's about to snap but she looks at Geleel and remembers what he said.
She sighed and decided to handle this in a calmer tone.
"We may need eachother to stay alive, but don't for a second think we're friends again, because we're not, and we probably will never be." Yasmina says walking off with an obvious limp.
"She doesn't mean that, it's just Yasmina being herself, give her time Sammy." Geleel says as Sammy nods. He then runs off to make sure the trackstar doesn't hurt herself more. Leaving Sammy who sat there sobbing.
Brooklynn and Darius were watching this unfold from a higher spot in the bleachers.
Brooklynn looks at Darius and he nods to her. She then makes her way down to the sobbing Sammy.
"You okay?" Brooklynn asks in an actual worried tone.
"Nah, not really." Sammy replies.
"Yea, dumb question, I don't know her that well, but maybe if you give Yas some space she'll come around, maybe, I don't know I'm gonna be honest irl friendships aren't really my thing, but that uhh sounds right, yea?" Brooklynn asked.
"Why are you being so nice to me?" Sammy asked generally confused.
"Because Kenji, Darius, and Geleel were right...it feels so weird to put Kenji and right in the same sentence, never ever repeat that, gross." Brooklynn says sighing.
"I have done my fair share of selfish things, I only know you were sneaking around because I was also sneaking around, but you had a legitimate reason, you wanted to protect your family, anybody with a heart can understand that, doesn't make what you did right, but it definitely adds some clarity." Brooklynn says making Sammy perk up.
"Plus, when we get outta here, you're gonna give me the exclusive, on all the juicy details of you spying for Manticorp, Brooklynn unboxes a conspiracy, pow pow, try to tell me my videos are lame after that, angry internet randos!" Brooklynn exclaims striking a superhero pose.
This causes Sammy to laugh cheering up.
"So, deal?" Brooklynn asks offering Sammy her hand. Sammy shakes it.
"Deal." Sammy says.
"So, not to be a total downer, but, operation, find people to help us, is clearly a bust." Kenji said offering Darius some random bucket of popcorn to which Darius declined. Kenji simply throws the bucket away.
"My dad talked about coming here for years, and here we are." Darius says saddened at his experience.
"Yup, welcome to jurassic world." Kenji says as suddenly a loud alarm goes off alerting everyone there because they did not know what was going to happen next.
