I was thinking about whether or not I should split the seasons into different stories or keep it all in one story. I decided to just keep it all in one story to make it more simple. With that being said welcome to season two, on with the story
Living in a dinosaur infested jungle by yourselves as teenagers could not be a fun experience. Your life would literally go from school, friends, and hobbies to screaming, running, hiding, and even more screaming.
However today seemed to be a peaceful day as all the dinosaurs were being docile and nothing crazy was going on. Hopefully the campers are al-.
"Run, run, run!" Darius yells to the rest of group that was running behind him.
"Is the Parasaurolophus still there!" Brooklynn asked as she and Sammy were supporting Yasmina.
Geleel and Kenji look back to see said Parasaurolophus. They were going to say yes until out of literally nowhere came Rexy the T.rex to attack the Parasaurolophus as Rexy let out a roar.
"Not anymore!" Kenji yelled as he and Geleel sped up to escape Rexy.
The campers get out to a little opening as Geleel notices a huge tree trunk that fell. "Over there! we can use it as cover!" Geleel yells as everyone runs to the fallen trunk.
Darius climbs under, so does Brooklynn, Geleel and Sammy help push Yasmina over as they both climb over along with Kenji.
They all whimper in fear as they hear Rexy finishing the Parasaurolophus off. Brooklynn grabs onto Darius quivering as he holds her even though he was shaking too.
Yasmina hugs Geleel to her almost like teddy bear to comfort her as they both try to stay still and quiet to not alert Rexy.
Sammy looks absolutely terrified as Kenji rubs her back to try and soothe her.
As they hear the final roar, crunch, and the Parasaurolophus is no longer heard at all they realize Rexy has done her deed and is now eating her lunch.
Darius and Geleel stand up to look over at Rexy dragging the dead Parasaurolophus. They both look eachother worried but when they realize Rexy was out of sight they sighed with relief.
"They're gone." Darius said to the others as everyone breathes of relief and slumps down.
As we get a chance to notice the kids we realize how roughed up they've become as result of being away from civilization this long. All their clothes had various rips and specs of dirt. Them not having any means to get hygiene either was evident in the fact that all of their hair now looked wild and frizzy.
"Why are there so many dinosaurs around!" Kenji yells in anger.
"Well it's either your boyish charm, or all the fences on the island are down." Brooklynn said semi-sarcastically.
"No offense when I-, ahh who am I kidding I totally mean to offend you, it's definitely the second option, Kenji? Boyish charm?" Geleel asked with a slight chuckle as Kenji looked at him annoyed.
"I don't even care, right now, I just want a sandwich." Yasmina says as she rubs her sprained ankle. "We haven't eaten since we had those awful carib bars that Be-" She cuts herself off as everyone looks saddened as they remember the lost of their friend.
As they were all grieving, a loud roar no doubt belonging to Rexy sounded through the forest putting them on alert.
Nothing but groans sound through the group as they get up to once again escape a dinosaur.
"We just need to eat and rest, I can't keep running like this." Sammy says as she and Brooklynn once again support Yasmina.
Geleel and Darius walk over to a tree and Geleel notices something. It was the control center, he taps Darius' shoulder and points to it.
Darius realizing the opportunity this proposes smirks and turns to the rest of the group. "We don't have too, there's bound to be a way to call for help on mainstreet, and food, and everything else." Darius announces as everyone looked elated.
"Well what are we waiting for? Come on." Geleel said as they all began running to main street.
After a little while running the group finally made it to main street. They were shock to say the least as they walked though main street which looked like nothing but ruins.
Garbage was everywhere buildings were smashed, dinosaur fossil replicas were destroyed.
"What happened here." Kenji asked as the group walked through main street looking around.
"Uhh I'm thinking dinosaurs." Yasmina guesses blandly as they look at some of the rubble.
"To be even more specific dinosaurs battling." Geleel adds in.
"Geleel's right, something of that sort did take place, from the height it looks like, maybe the T.rex and something bigger?" Darius says looking at the others.
"The Indominus Rex." Brooklynn says as she stands over the broken ledge that was above the Mosasaurus enclosure. Darius and Geleel walk over to her. "I don't think we have to worry about it anymore." She said as they looked into the lagoon.
They all jumped back a little as they heard the Mosasaurus roar slightly. "We also won't have to worry about the Mosasaurus being hungry for a bit either." Geleel says as they back up for safety.
"Guys! you have to see this." Sammy says as she takes them to the rest of the group.
They all stand looking at a cardboard cut out of Brooklynn holdimg and a tablet.
Everyone breaks out into laughter. "Wow, I totally forgot I created that." Brooklynn says with a chuckle.
"Do you only own one outfit." Darius says incredulously as he rests his elbow on Brooklynn's shoulder.
She deadpans at him. "What? It's my signature look." Brooklynn says exasperatedly.
Kenji being the comedian he was decided to mess with Brooklynn. Kenji grabs the cardboard tablet and rushes up to Brooklynn.
"Please, autograph my phone charger, oh Queen of the Brooklanders!" Kenji says as he begins laughing obnoxiously.
Geleel turns to Brooklynn who was deadpanning at Kenji. "Want me to punch him again? I'm really good at it." Geleel suggests almost maniacally.
"No thanks he's not even phasing me." Brooklynn says as she redirects her direction to Kenji who was laughing like a mad man still.
"Well, I think it's cool when we get rescued I'm taking it with us." Sammy says standing next to the cutout with a smile.
"Tbh, this does kindof remind me of home, I haven't posted in days, I bet my followers are worried sick about me." Brooklynn says rubbing her arm.
Sammy walks over to them and slaps Kenji on the back of the head slightly so that he would stop and stand at attention.
"And your parents?" Sammy asked unsure of why she said her followers but not parents.
"Oh uh right obvi, them too." Brooklynn replied awkwardly.
Darius walks over into a building as the others follow "Okay, let's start, uh looking for a way to communicate with the mainland, there's gotta be a phone or something in here right?" Darius asked rhetorically.
As they all made their way through Brooklynn stops and looks at cardboad Brooklynn. She then begins to admire her own beauty.
Brooklynn just turns and follows the others to help find things.
Geleel notices a box with a sign that read 'lost and found.' "Hey guys check this out, it's the lost and found there has to be something in here that could be of use." He said as he began searching.
Darius makes his way over to help. "Sunglasses, hats, sunglasses, sunglass-." Darius cuts himself off as he gasps. "Oh great more sunglasses, really, no one lost their phone?" Darius asked exasperatedly.
"Well whatever phones are here aren't working, the power is out." Yasmina says putting down a phone she tried using as she sighs. "There's not even a walkie talkie." She finishes.
"Oh yea then what do you call these bad boys." Kenji said handing her a 'walkie talkie' that looked like a children's toy. It was a green and yello Triceratops walkie talkie.
Yasmina presses the button the toy lets out a little roar. Yasmina deadpans at Kenji.
"Wow, totally seeing the bad boy aspect." Geleel says sarcastically.
"Hey, atleast they work." Kenji says taking the walkie talkie back from her.
He holds the button as begins talking into it. "They even have a robot mode." Kenji said a distorted robot voice.
"Ooo!" Sammy exclaims as everyone turns to her excited.
"Did you find something?" Darius asked excitedly as he notices Sammy reading a book
"An insiders guide to jurassic world, it's got all kinds of details about the park, did you know there's hidden dinos carved into the building, or that aircrafts aren't allowed to fly over the island-" Sammy cuts herself realizing that doesn't help at all. "Sorry, that one's kind of a bummer." She said turning around.
"Hey!" Brooklynn yells out.
"Is it a phone?!" Geleel asked/yelled with his hopes up.
"It's a camera, and it works, now I can document all the crazy stuff we've seen, our rescue will be a Brooklynn exclusive, that will help my followers get back up to where they belong!" Brooklynn announces proudly.
Geleel holds his head. "And this will help us how?" Yasmina asks voicing his opinion.
"Uh, because when we get home this will also make you famous." Brooklynn saifd awkwardly.
"Hey!" Kenji now yells out.
"Please tell me you've found a phone." Darius said exasperated.
Kenji gets in to the frame of the camera that Brooklynn was recording with now. "No but, I can be in the video!" Kenji says putting on a pair of sunglasses and doing various poses for the camera.
Sammy gasps loudly getting everyone's attention.
"Did you find a phone?" Geleel asked tired of all these unnecessary finds.
"No, it's even better than that, it's an EDB, emergency, distress, beacon, after the first park went down Mr. Masrani had one installed on main street, it's battery powered, and it can send an S.O.S signal a hundred and fifty miles in all directions." Sammy informs them as everyone looks at her elated.
"We're saved!" Sammy announced to everyone.
"Does it say where it is?" Yasmina asked to Sammy who began flipping through the book but she found nothing on it's whereabouts.
"No, the rest of the chapter is just a bunch of glamour shots of Dr. Wu wearing turtle necks." Sammy said as Geleel looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I will never get that image out of my head now." Geleel said shivering.
"Everyone spread out! There is a way to communicate with the outside world somewhere here on main street, we find this thing, we go home." Darius says as the others nod.
"Affirmative." Kenji says through his walkie talkie toy.
Kenji then runs out to search followed by the others.
Brooklynn has Kenji hold the camera she found in the middle of the street to record.
"What's up Brooklanders! You wanted exclusive well you got it, ka pow!" She exclaimed as Kenji looked at her weirdly.
"You do know Brooklanders is a weird name, right?" Kenji says from behind the camera.
"Okay I was 10 when I came up wit- you know what Kenji just start over." Brooklynn says frustrated as they cut the camera.
A few clicks away from them was Geleel and Darius searching through the rubble for the EDB.
"Beacon, beacon, beacon." Darius whispered to himself as he searched.
"Who would've known an EDB was an expert at hide and seek." Geleel says as he begins looking elsewhere.
"I don't see any beacons here!" Yasmina yells checking a building.
Brooklynn was recording her when suddenly Sammy came out of nowhere into the frame.
"I can't believe I'm going to be in your video, oh, should I have a catchphrase?" Sammy asked not knowing how recording YouTube videos actually went down.
"Just talk about the stuff." Brooklynn said in a whisper.
"Okay, according to the book things in the park are disguised to keep up the whole natural illusion of Jurassic World." Sammy informs the viewers.
She then runs over to a rock that was really a garbage can.
"This rock is really a trash can." Sammy said as she showed them the hatch. Sammy then gestured to some 'vines.' "Those vines are really electrical cords, pretty neat right Brooklanders?" Sammy says.
"You ever notice Brooklanders is weird to say?" Sammy adds in as Brooklynn groans and cuts the camera.
Darius and Geleel were still searching, Yasmina comes over to where they were and decided to help search that area.
Brooklynn was also there but she was recording instead of also searching.
"Find anything?" Darius asked to Yasmina and Geleel.
They both answered with head shakes signaling no.
"Wonder what the other-." Geleel is cutoff as Kenji rides past them on a scooter.
"Found someone's, scooterrrrr!" He yells excitedly.
Geleel and Yasmina deadpan as Darius looked at him riding off confused.
Brooklynn flips the camera to herself. "Hey Brooklanders! Check this out- now it sounds weird to me too." Brooklynn says realizing her weird follower title as Kenji rides up behind her.
The camera is with Sammy now. "That rock is an electrical outlet, that rock is a-" Sammy is cutoff as she falls down with a loud thud dropping the camera.
"I tripped on a rock." Sammy groaned out.
Darius, Geleel, and Yasmina who were the only ones actually searching were taking a short break. "Maybe the beacon got trashed along with everything else." Yasmina suggests taking a seat.
"It's here somewhere, it has to be." Darius says as he goes to search again.
"And this rock is...just a rock but I think it's neat, what do you think camp fam?" Sammy asked to the camera.
"Camp fam...?" Brooklynn questioned with a distressed looking face.
"That's right it's a new catchphrase ka pow!" Sammy exclaims as Brooklynn looks at her weirdly.
"Come on it's got to be here somewhere." Darius says searching a new area.
Kenji sneaks up on Darius with a toy Stegosaurus and the camera in hand. He was recording Darius as he creeped up to him.
"Rawr I'm gonna eat you!" Kenji exclaims as Darius turns to him. Darius deadpans at him.
"That's a Stegosaurus Kenji." Darius says neutrally.
"You l-." Kenji is cutoff.
"Boo!" Geleel says scaring Kenji making him yelp and fall backwards.
Geleel and Darius both chuckle. "Man that was too funny, you should have seen your face Kenji." Geleel says in-between laughing.
"Haha." Kenji said sarcastically.
Back at the middle of main street the girls were laughing at one of the tables.
Darius was walking around really determined to find their target. Geleel was just standing back against a wall waiting for their next move.
"Anybody order frozen pizza from the world's dopest delivery boy." Kenji says through the walkie talkie as he rode his scooter to them carrying bags of pizza.
"Yes!" Brooklynn exclaims.
"I'll go get napkins from the rock." Sammy says as she does just that.
When they're settled in they each grab a slice. Only thing is the pizza was literally frozen.
However for whatever reason they each took a bite anyways. Nothing but winces and 'ouch' was heard.
"What the fu*k!" Geleel exclaims as he receives a quick swat from Sammy.
Geleel looks at her confused as she glared at him.
Kenji leans over to Geleel. "Uh yea she isn't a fan of curse words." Kenji informs Geleel as he nods.
"That's my bad Samster." Geleel says as Sammy smiles at him letting him know he was forgiven.
After dumping the ice pizza the team just sits at the tables bored. Yasmina had her feet up, Brooklynn sat across from her arms crossed.
Darius stood next to their table reading the book, Geleel was standing over here shoulder to read too.
Sammy and Kenji sat at another table while Sammy had her head on the table bored. Kenji sat in a neutral poster.
"Okay, is the pizza thawed now?" Sammy asked as Kenji goes to check.
"I'll check." Kenji groans.
As he goes to see if the pizza was thawed he is nipped at by a Compy. Then more Compies came and terrorized the entire group.
"The pizza, throw the pizza!" Yasmina yells trying to shoo them away.
"Aww man, all of it?" Sammy asked bummed out but she still runs over to the pizza pile and begins throwing the boxes.
Darius and Geleel come to assist making the process faster. The Compies ran after the pizza that was being thrown.
"I'm really starting to grow a hatred for compies." Geleel said deadpanned at the damage the little pests caused in that short time.
"Ugh, their like the rats of the dino world, they'll eat anything." Brooklynn says to him.
"Yea, but, so will Kenji." Yasmina points out.
"I object to that!" Kenji says as he goes to eat the frozen pizza contradicting himself.
Brooklynn slaps the pizza out of his hand with a chuckle. They began to playfully rough house as Sammy joins in.
Yasmina and Geleel watch them as they both wore smirks. Geleel then turns to his right and notices Darius walking around looking distressed.
Geleel nudges Yasmina and gestures to Darius she looks at Darius concerned.
They both nod at eachother.
"Come on D, work the problem, seriously, what am I missing!" Darius yells to himself as begins to hallucinate.
The atmosphere looks more dim as everyone that was just there had completely disappeared. Darius scared by this gets up immediately.
He walks off to find someone, he then notices someone walk idly by.
"Ben?" Darius said to himself as he ran towards the figure.
He finally catches up to the figure as he grabbed it's shoulder. "Ben?, I thought we lost you." Darius says pulling Ben into a hug.
"Why? Because you let me go?" Ben says pulling away from the hug.
"What? No I tri- ack!" Darius exclaims as he falls into another hallucination. This time he's back on the monorail in the same situation as before with Ben.
"Let me go Darius!" 'Ben' says as Darius shakes his head.
"No, I won't I can do this, going to get us all home, I'm going to save you!" Darius declares.
"You promise?" Said the voice of Darius' father.
Darius looks at his father in shock as he gasps, his father looks back at him with a look of terror.
"Dad?, Dad, nooo!" Darius yells as he drops his dad.
Back in the real world Darius wakes up hyperventilating as Yasmina and Geleel now stooped to his level to check on him. Darius realizes that it was now night time because he was sleeping for a while.
"It looks like you were having a bad dream." Yasmina says as he finally calmed down.
"Y-yea...I'm fine, sorry I feel asleep guys." Darius says as they looked unsure of the "I'm fine" part but they let it go.
"I'm the one who volunteered for the first shift, remember?, and my personal bodyguard here decided to stay up too." Yasmina added sarcastically hiding the fact she was happy Geleel gave her some company.
Before Geleel can respond they turn to the others and hear Kenji's loud snoring. He was asleep on a desk.
Sammy was asleep with her head on Brooklynn's lap, while Brooklynn was sitting up straight on the front of the desk.
"Meh, meh, meh, meh." Kenji says in his sleep through the walkie talkie as it roars.
"Okay, we have to break that thing or something, this is the 5th time in a row he's done that." Geleel says annoyed.
"I keep telling myself the batteries gotta run out some time right?" Yasmina says as Darius once again looks down.
Yasmina notices this and frowns. "What's wrong Darius?" Geleel asked voicing her thoughts.
"I have to find that beacon, I just need to try harder, I can find it if I try harder." Darius says with his head down still.
Yasmina nudges Geleel as Geleel nods at her.
"Push-ups " Yasmina says as she and Geleel began doing push-ups.
"Okay, that's the last time I eat unthawed pizza cause boy is this dream getting weird." Darius says as if the two went insane.
"When I race, I pressure myself, go faster, work harder, sometimes that's good." Yasmina starts.
"But sometimes you get so caught up in your own head that you can't see what transpires in front of you." Geleel says finishing her thought process and getting up as Darius starts to get the point they were making.
Yasmina gets up with a grunt of pain. "So, we loosen up, do pushups, legrolls, planks till your arms give out." Yasmina says getting back in pushup position.
"We have very different ideas of the word, fun." Darius states.
"Okay, then what do you find fun Darius?" Geleel asked as Darius smiled.
The trio made their way a sign that read "Discovery Walk."
"Learning new dinosaur facts!" Darius exclaims as Yasmina and Geleel followed behind.
"Woo." Yasmina says with oh so much enthusiasm.
"I've been wanting to see the jurassic world discovery walk since, forever!" Darius yells as Geleel walks over to read the other sign.
"Woah that's pretty cool the raptor has a six inch toe claw." Geleel said reading a fact he saw.
"Yea I know it's sool cool right? Come on dad!" Darius yells pulling Geleel along to the next sign before realizing what he just said. "S-Sorry I didn't mean-." Darius said rubbing his arm but Geleel cuts him off.
"No it's okay, you can call me dad if you want too, son." Geleel said playfully. Darius then turns to Yasmina with puppy dog eyes.
"Fine you can call me mom, but this stays between us three, got it?" She said menacingly.
"Well come on mom and dad, race you to the next one." Darius says as he walks to the next flag which was two feet from ghe other one.
"That did not count as a race " Yasmina complains.
"Just let him have it Yas." Geleel says as Yasmina rolls her eyes.
"Check it out, did you know sauropods can eat up to twelve thousand pounds of food for per! Obviously their necks help them for both upper grazing, and lower grazing levels, but still that's insane! Race ya again!" Darius exclaims as he runs to the next plaque.
"Ooo this one's about camouflage, some dinosaurs develop color patters to help them blend into their environment to hide from...hide." Darius says and then gasps afterwards.
"I know where the beacon is." Darius said determined.
"Um mind filling us in on how you know this exactly?" Geleel asked to recieve no response as Darius just runs back to main street.
Geleel looks to Yasmina for an answer, he only recieves a shrug as he shakes his head and begins helping her walk.
The next day Darius has the team standing at attention as he just told them they have to look for the beacon again.
"We already looked here." Kenji points out.
"We looked, but we didn't loook." Darius said dragging the word look.
"Well, that clears that up." Brooklynn says sarcastically.
"It's like Sammy was saying, things are disguised as other things." Darius says walking away from Brooklynn to Sammy.
"We never saw the beacon, because it was camouflaged!" Darius announces.
"Aww man, that's my boy!" Geleel said with fake tears still doing the 'dad' role, but he was actually impressed with Darius figuring this out.
Yasmina pinches his ear as he lets out an uncharacteristic yelp. "I said this stays between us three, I wasn't playing about those 'consequences.' Yasmina said quietly as she let go, Geleel rubbed his ear for a bit before they all started searching.
As they were searching Yasmina steps on her hurt ankle in the wrong way and slams into a 'tree.' However it was odd because the impact caused a sound of like metal, or plastic being hit not wood at all.
"Ever hear a tree do that?" Yasmina says incredulously as the other's made their way over.
Geleel opens up the little hatch that was on the tree.
Sammy gasps. "There's stuff inside!" She exclaims.
"Find it again for the camera." Brooklynn says as she was recording. Geleel deadpans but decides to do it anyways.
Geleel opens the hatch again albeit this time with less enthusiasm.
This time Sammy gives a less natural reaction. "Ooo, there's stuff inside!" Sammy exclaims pointing to it like a talk show host.
"Wow, bravo, oscar worthy performance." Geleel said sarcastically as he gets up.
Yasmina, Kenji, and Darius, had opened the other hatches to find absolutely nothing.
"All aboard the fail boat, the rest of these are all empty brosef." Kenji says to Darius.
Darius paid him no attention, he and Geleel were examining another fake tree, only this one was broken.
"This one's broken." Darius says quietly.
Geleel turns to his right as he notices a trail of debris and grass leading somewhere.
Geleel follows the debris as the others follow him to see where it went.
Everybody was put to a stop as they stood in front of two large gates.
They look at it questioning what lives in there. Before anyone can say anything they hear a loud growl startling them as they let out yelps.
They turn to the front of main street to see Rexy draggint another fake tree that she broke most likely the one they were just examining.
They hide out of her sight so they don't become T.rex chow.
Rexy brings the fake tree to a nest she made and puts it on the nest. She then uses her hind legs to kick the nest into place.
Rexy then lets out a roar as the campers get startled.
"A T.rex lair, we found fossilized nests, but the T.rex never did this when the park was open, we're witnessing new behavior, this is great." Darius said in a whisper as Brooklynn, Yasmina, and Sammy glared at him from his left.
While Kenji and Geleel did the same from his right.
"I mean, this is terrible, she built her lair right on main street." Darius whispers.
"And it's about to get worse, look." Brooklynn says as she was recording and the others came over concerned about whatever she meant.
Brooklynn zooms in on what looks to be a capsule of some sort, this was the EDB.
"Well, we found the beacon." Yasmina said fake excited.
Groans erupted from everyone they turned around to sit down on the ledge rather than stand.
"How are you supposed to get to the beacon now?" Kenji asks in a hushed tone.
"You? I'm pretty sure you meant we." Geleel responds back in a hushed tone as well.
"No, because I want to live, and living does not involve me walking into a T.rex lair!" Kenji yells pointing at the T.rex.
"So wait, does this mean we can't signal folks and tell them we're here?" Sammy said depressingly.
"Great, we try to spend a little time being normal kids, and it still ends up biting us in the butts." Kenji says holding his forehead.
"I just wanted twenty-four hours, where we didn't have to think about dinosaurs, or being left behind, or...or Ben." Kenji said with a solemn tone.
"It was nice while it lasted." Sammy said.
"So what are we just going to give up, we've been over this guys nothing can stop us if we work together, meaning we can't give up." Geleel says trying to lift them up.
"Geleel's right, I know it seems hopeless, but there's always an answer, we just have to get out of our own heads to see it." Darius says as Geleel smiles at him inwardly since he remembered the talk with his 'mom and dad.' Yasmina hears this and also turns to them with a smile of her own.
Darius looks over the ledge to see Rexy stomping around roaring and growling, basic T.rex things.
Darius turns to Kenji. "Kenji are there still anymore walkie talkies in the gift shop?" Darius asked as Kenji nodded.
After Kenji returned with the walkie talkie they sit on the ledge quietly waiting for a chance.
Finally they get one when Rexy stomps off growling lowly.
"Heading your way Sammy." Yasmina whispers through the walkie talkie to Sammy who was posted in the forest outside of main street.
"Listen up, she just passed by, coast is clear, go for it!" Sammy yelled quietly into the walkie talkie.
Kenji, Geleel, and Darius nod at eachother. They were going to go get the beacon because Brooklynn was recordind and Yasmina was hurt. It seems our little trio from chapter two makes a return.
They began climping up and over the ledge into the T.rex pen.
As they scaled down to the bottom Kenji and Geleel jump down onto the ground.
Darius being the shorter kid struggled with the actual getting to the ground part. Kenji just opts to pull him down as he falls flat on his backside.
Geleel helps him up as they look up to Brooklynn and Yasmina. Yasmina and Brooklynn nod giving them the okay to move.
They ran over to a wall and hid behind it, can't be too careful on a dinosaur infested island.
"I hate this." Kenji said frustrated with this all.
"Gee, I thought everyone liked being in life threatening situations all the time, maybe I'm crazy." Geleel said sarcastically as Kenji groans at his sarcasm but ignores it for now.
The trio then moved from their hiding spot as they make a break for the nest.
They then began climbing the nest. Darius grabs onto the wrong would plank and almost falls but Geleel pushes him back up with this hand. "I got ya buddy." Geleel says as the two keep climbing.
Kenji reaches up for his next climbing tool, only to retract his arm immediately realizing it was a bone he let out a yelp of disgust.
"Next time, I'm going to break my ankle, and I'm staying behind." Kenji said into the walkie talkie.
"You wouldn't be able to handle it." Yasmina responds taking a hit at his ego.
As the trio finally make it to the top Darius turns to see the EDB.
"There!" Darius gestures to it as Geleel and Kenji look to see it.
They walk to it to get it, they all tried pulling it out but much to their dismay it was jammed in there pretty good.
"The T.rex must have damaged the housing I can't get it out." Kenji points out.
"We don't need to get it out, we just have to activate it." Darius says.
Sammy was keeping tabs on Rexy, she had lost sight of Rexy and began breathing quicker.
Sammy then began to breathe even faster as she notices Rexy right under the tree she was hiding in.
Back with the trio they were still struggling with the EDB.
"Help me get this open." Darius says as Geleel grabs a bone and the tree began using it to wedge the EDB out. They each let out grunts of struggle and effort.
Sammy who was still being wary of the danger that was right below her.
Rexy literally looks right up at her, but apparently T.rexes have horrible sight to objects that aren't moving, because instead of attacking Sammy Rexy opts to take a branch instead as Sammy flinches thinking that branch was going to be her.
Rexy now with her new branch for her nest begins walking back to her lair.
"Are you kidding?" Sammy asked herself as she slips almost and drops the walkie talkie, luckily she catches it with her boot. She then tries to pick it back up but that's kind of hard to do when your legs are longer than your arms.
Sammy just flips the walkie talkie up with her foot. "Rexy is heading back to her lair, she's heading back, you need to get out of their!" Sammy yells through the walkie talkie to Yasmina and Brooklynn.
"Darius!, Geleel!, Kenji!" Sammy yells through the walkie talkie to recieve no answer.
"Why aren't they answering?" Brooklynn asked worried about them.
"Guys, she's coming back right now!" Yasmina says into the walkie talkie as they gave no response and continued trying to pry open the hatch with the bone.
"Mayday, guys, gahh, I knew it, Kenji ran down the battery!" Yasmina says smacking her forehead. "What now?" Yasmina asks to Brooklynn.
"We have to stall that T.rex some how." Brooklynn says.
"How do you stall a T.rex!" Sammy yelled through the walkie talkie.
Brooklynn gasps and hops off the ledge.
"What are you doing?!" Yasmina asked/yelled in a whispered tone.
Brooklynn runs into the middle of the street and then runs in the other direction to put this plan of hers into play.
Geleel, Kenji, and Darius were still struggling to pry this thing open.
Sammy was running back to the park now.
Rexy came stomping down main street scaring all the little creatures(Compies) out of her way.
The trio were finally starting to get this capsule open. "Just one more heave guys come on!" Geleel yelled as they did one more strong push. The capsule flew open knocking them back a little.
Darius laughs happily as they finally got it open.
His laughter is quickly stopped as they hear Rexy stomping towards them.
Darius hides behind a piece wood, Geleel hides behind the capsule's container, and Kenji hides behind a leaf. (Master of camouflage I tell ya.)
Sammy makes her way back to main street just in time to see Rexy go into the paddock that housed her lair.
Before Rexy actually gets their she passes by the ledge that Yasmina is on. Yasmina ducks her head with a yelp of fear.
Rexy finally gets to her nest as the three boys hid in fear of the beast behind them.
"What's up Brooklanders!" Yelled the voice of Brooklynn as Rexy turned her attention to that sound immediately and ran back outside to see who or what made it.
As she makes it outside she sees Brooklynn standing their. Rexy charges at Brooklynn and lets out a loud roar.
In the lair, Geleel who was hiding behind the capsule gets in front of it and reads the signals. He then flips the switch to the green side.
A message then lit up on the capsule that red 'Signal sent' in a bright flashing green background.
"We did it!" Kenji yelled hugging them both with sidearms.
Back outside Rexy was still charging Brooklynn. As she closes the gap with her and Brooklynn she stomps on Brooklynn...and Brooklynn was no more.
"You wanted exclusive well here it is and there's nobody better than me to show it to ya!" Said the voice of...Brooklynn? This wasn't actually Brooklynn it was the cardboard cut out of her with the camera she was recording with that played a clip she recorded.
The real Brooklynn was hiding behind and umbrella. Brooklynn just gets up and moves away before the T.rex realizes she was tricked.
Darius, Kenji and Geleel, along with Sammy who just joined them ran out from the lair and signaled Yasmina.
"We activated the beacon, the S.O.S signal went out!" Darius yells as they all run to meet up outside.
Rexy was still inspecting cardboad Brooklynn, the poor dinosaur then realizes it was decieved and roars loudly in anger.
The campers realized main street wasn't a safe place to stay so they decided to move else where. They packed bags full of essentials and ran all the way through the forest. They eventually sit down behind a dead tree.
"We're gonna be saved!" Yasmina yells as they all celebrate.
"Cheers to that!" Geleel yells from besides her as he gives her a side hug.
"Sorry you had to give up your camera." Darius said to Brooklynn from her right side.
"Ehh it was old and janky anyhow, my followers deserve way better picture quality than that." Brooklynn says reassuring him.
"Where too now Darius? " Sammy asked the question everyone had.
"Yea, main street is clearly not safe haven anymore considering a literal T.rex lives there now." Geleel pointed out.
"Now we just have to find a place to hole up until help arrives, and rescue will be coming, we just gotta stay alive until they do." Darius announces to the group.
Back with the beacon it was simply beeping for the most part. Until it randomly shuts off and doesn't say 'signal sent' anymore. It now reads 'Signal recieved' in bright blue.
