Cassie had been mortified after that initial day when Travis came home. Joe had been checking in on her regularly. At some point she had finished out the storyline for the pay per View. She decided to have Jimmy come back and essentially throw in the towel for Jey. She also suggested they get a ceremonial ley and have it placed over Romans head at the end of the match cementing The Tribal Chief gimmick. It was the day before the Pay Per View when Joe text her " Hey you, there is a small party after the show tomorrow , all outdoors and that so don't worry. Why don't you come? Seth is throwing it and he is pretty cool , might be nice for you to get to know everyone a little better?". Cassie knew this was down to him wanting to cheer her up after what had happened that week. Normally she would say no , but given that Travis was only looking out for himself , she decided a night out would be just what she needed. " OK, sounds like fun" she replied.
The next night the show was stellar, the angle landed perfectly and exactly the way she had imagined. She was waiting for the guys when they came back through the curtain. Jimmy was first, smiling widely , he hugged his wife Trinity before flashing Cassie a huge smile " Thanks C , that was dope. Man, it was cool being out there again". Next through came Jey who was walking a little funny "Good job man, Uce wasn't taking any prisoners in that ring.". And finally flanked by Paul, Joe came back through the curtain she always found it a little distracting when he came back from an actual wrestling match, the bare chest and the wet hair , it was hard at times not to stare. "Well, how how we do?" he asked her , she could see he was hoping she approved. "Amazing, well done" she said with a smile. He winked at her, happy with the response. "OK I'm gonna go change and will meet you after. I got us all a car , so we can all have a few drinks and not have to worry about driving". She agreed to meet him out back after she too got changed. Trinity motioned for her to follow her to the girls locker room so she took off behind her. Once in there she found Liv and Billie Kay , both girls were wearing short dresses showing off their bodies and Cassie felt a little drab. Trinity beckoned her over and asked her what she was wearing. " Um these jeans and I brought a spare black shirt". Trinity shook her head " OK the jeans and pumps are OK, but you need a more dressy top , hang on". She rummaged through her bag and pulled out a bottle green coloured top that showed a little midriff not too much but just enough to be sexy . It was sleeveless plunged a little , not too much cleavage but a glimpse. Cassie pulled her hair loose from its pony tail and brushed it out , it held a natural wave so she just sprayed it and styled it a little . She pulled on two bangles and wore gold hoops in her ears , the result was sexy but not over the top. She put a deep red shade on her lips to match her red nail polish and grabbed her bag. When she turned Liv seemed a bit put out while Billie whistled and said " Hot , hot ,hot ". Trinity smiled " I know right, girl , we gonna have to retire those causal looks , look at that body you need to be showing it off some more. Turn around, look at your booty because you wearing that top". Cassie had to admit this outfit really showed off her body , but not in an overtly sexy way . Maybe she had lost a bit of personality when it came to clothes, mostly because she just did the same thing most days. She caught herself . No she used to the same thing most days , right now her life was different and she began to realise that maybe she needed a little more out of life than she had previously.
Joe was waiting at the door of the limo , Jimmy and Jey were with him. The click clack of heels made them all turn to see the girls. " Whoo girl" Jimmy said at the sight of Trinity who should him good naturedly. They got I the car as did Billie. Joe got a shock at the sight of Cassie , she looked beautiful . "Wow you look amazing". She blushed a little , " You do too , it's nice to see you own other clothes other than shorts" He was glad he had worn tan chinos with loafers and a crisp white shirt , it seemed to fit the occasion a little more. A cough interrupted the conversation " Joe , let's get into the car" it was Liv , she wore a black dress that made her legs go on for miles. Cassie flashed him a tight smile as he climbed in. Once inside they popped two bottles of champagne and drank them back. Cassie was feeling a little nervous so she drank the first glass a little quickly. She sat back quiet , while the others talked loudly . Jey was sitting next to her " you look good Cass , everything OK?" " Yeah don't worry Jey, just glad to be letting off some steam , it's been a long week". He clicked his glass to hers " I hear ya girl . Now let's party". She laughed with him. Further up the limo Joe was trying to stop Liv from grabbing his crotch in full view of everyone one " OK let's wait till a little later for all that ok". Liv scowled " is that because she is here?". Joe looked at her " Who?". The blonde rolled her eyes " Cassie , it's like you don't want to do anything she might judge you for . Like you want to impress her or something". He fixed her with gaze " I owe Cassie a lot , and you're right, I don't want her to think badly of me. Because she is my friend not because of anything else. Now drop it OK, let's have a fun night".
Seths party was awesome, it was all outdoors with a bar and fairylights. Music was piped over a sound system and it was about 20 people maximum , but all from WWE. Cassie felt like a part of an elite group. She had met Seth once before , but she knew how close he and Joe were and she made a real effort with him , they got on immediately. Joe was with the boys mostly , though he did check on her regularly, making sure she always had company and a drink in her hand. Trinity had managed to get control of the sound system , she beckoned over Seth to where her and Cassie were standing. " Seth, Cassie here is a zumba instructor , I know you have done some classes with Becky. Why don't we have a little lesson with you two as leaders ". Seth raised an eyebrow " Lets do it". A crowd formed and between them Cassie and Seth started showing some moves, others joined in and soon Cassie had them all dipping low and swivelling their hips. In the corner Joe watched with interest as she came Alive to the music . The drum beats and her body seemed to move as one. He was staring , and he knew it . Liv . Who had refused to dance downed two other shots as they watched the crowd. They finished the routine and Seth and Cassie took a bow. His friend came over to him after " Man she is cool, I like her. Don't fuck it up being you". Joe just tutted at him.
"Cassie , girl you can move" Trinity said with an arm around Jimmy's neck. They had so much fun learning the dance and Cassie felt like she really fitted in here with with and this group. " Did someone say shots" Joe said , coming up with a tray of tequila for them . Cassie whistled " Another one ? that will be like my sixth". "Fuck it , you are letting lose girl" Jimmy replied . They took the shots and Cassie grimaced slightly as the liquid hot the back of her throat. "Looks like she ain't the only one" , Trinity indicated the dance floor where Liv was actually stumbling around. She spotted Joe standing with Cassie and the others and made a beeline for them. " I should have known you be with her" she slurred in Cassie's direction. She pulled on Joe's shirt " Lets go home now baby". Joe rolled his eyes " Not yet , I promised Cassie I would drop her in the car". Liv looked mad "Look its fine , you guys can drop me on the way alright?". She didn't want to cause any trouble for Joe. He seemed to get really annoyed but one look at Liv told them she needed to get home . She could barely stand. Joe walked Liv to the car while Jimmy passed Cassie a bottle of tequila , " You might need some of this for that journey listening to Liv". She took it gratefully. When she got in the limo she saw Joe and Liv already there, she was nibbling on his neck and he was trying to move away from her a little. He looked grateful to see Cassie , and even more so to see the tequila he immediately poured 2 shots , convincing Liv successfully that she had enough . Cassie and himself downed the shot. Liv seemed intent on putting on a show , she tried to straddle Joe at least three times and he respectfully told her to stop. " You know he is great in bed Cassie. Does things I have never even tried before . Everytime he literally has me screaming. Don't you baby?". Joe didn't know where to look " He can go for a long time too , over and over again. But the only thing is he doesn't really kiss me. We don't like make out , just little pecks here and there . Why is that?" . Cassie remained silent, what could she say to that, how was she supposed to respond. Joe managed to get her off him and sit her down next to him. Within minutes she was asleep on his shoulder and the car was quiet . Cassie reached fir the tequila, " I need another of these" " Make mine a double" Joe answered.
The car stopped in a neighbourhood Cassoe didn't recognise . She did however recognise the lady St the door of the apartment complex Ruby Riott , Livs room mate. She decided to wait in the car while Joe lifted Liv into the building to Ruby. He came out about 10 minutes later , " She is OK, Ruby is going to sleep in with her. Cassie I I so sorry about all those thing she said". The tequila was making Cassie brave " Oh so you're not amazing in bed then" she said with a smirk . " Hey now , don't talk crazy . But seriously I am sorry for that". She turned her head to look at him " Why don't you kiss her properly or make out as she put it". She could tell this was a personal question " It's not that I don't its just that kissing and making out is lore of an intimate thing , sex is..." " Just a physical thing" she finished for him. He nodded in agreement " Yeah now can we please stop talking about my sex life. Hand me the tequila . Do you mind if we stop for a minute in my apartment I need to grab a phone charger , just in case anyone needs me". She agreed, apparently his house was on the way to hers. By the time they pulled up to a very beautiful house Cassie badly needed the bathroom. Joe instructed the driver to wait for them.
His house was gorgeous not as big as the family house but still impressive she ran to a bathroom while Joe disappeared off to get his phone charger. They met back in the kitchen where they looked at the little bit of tequila left in the bottle " I am going to pay for that tomorrow" Cassie said with a shudder. "uh huh , we sure will . Might aswell finish it now" he went off to get two glasses and Cassie sat up on one of the high chairs next to the kitchen island . Joe came back around with the two glasses filling them up " Cheers" he said as they downed the drinks. Both of them grimaced as the liquor went down their throats . " you may not see me for a whole after drinking all that" Cassie remarked. Joe gave her a smirk " Don't say that , then who would I torment on a daily basis". She looked at him with affection " Well that you most certainly do". She reached out for his arm and he stopped and turned to face her . " Thanks for this week , it meant a lot to me that you were there" she made no move to take her hand away. He didn't remove it either. They continued looking at each other, neither of them spoke. As if in slow motion he took her hand in his and laced his fingers through hers. She watched him do it and tightened her grip on his hand. She gave him a little nod and before either of them knew what was going on , his face was buried in her neck, he kissed her collarbone slowly and deliberately . But she wasn't interested in that. Instead she yanked at his t-shirt, it was clear what she wanted. He lifted her onto the kitchen island and pulled off her jeans , revealing white lace panties .
