The next morning after all the drama , Cassie woke with mixed feelings. Joe essentially choosing to walk away with her had made her feel so valued and respected. Up until this point their relationship had been complicated , with the added sexual experiences causing even more confusion. He had chosen her and his career as the first priority and the two did inevitably come hand in hand. This week they were working on the Smackdown Season premiere where Roman would face Braun Strowman for the title , Joe had told her what it was like being in the ring with Braun and it seemed like it was going to be a difficult evening for him. They somehow found these roles and settled in to them , it felt comfortable and easy for them both.

People backstage began showing her a bit more Respect and it became known that she was the person behind what lots were calling the beginning of best run in the career of Roman Reigns. Little things like Apollo Crews speaking to Roman Reigns before a heel turn etc. But it was clear her number one priority was Joe , and it was. Daily she thought of him and what they could do. Since the night out , Travis had withdrew even more and she hadn't made any moves to be with him. They were like passing ships, something would have to give sooner or later. But for now Cassie sat with Joe in the locker room looking at the script together. "Do you think it would be too much if I trash talked throughout the match? Or is that too OTT" Joe was asking. Cassie tapped her tooth with the back end of a pen as she thought " Some trash talk but not too much, and make it all about you not him you are the best and all that, think arrogant prick" she said with a smirk. He glared at her " Well that should be easy for me the shouldn't it?". " You said it not me" she retorted. Joe just shook his head good naturedly. They were interrupted by the arrival of Trinity, Jimmy and Jey. Joe and Cassie were sitting on opposite ends of the couch studying their papers. " Joe , you slept with Mandy Rose?" Trinity asked , and she did not look happy.

" Well yeah , but like. Wait, why are you mad Trin?". Joe answered. Cassie stood up distancing herself physically from him. " Seriously Joe" was all she managed to get out. " Why am I mad? Maybe cause I got a locker room full of tension because Liv and Mandy went at it" Trinity said. Jimmy was trying to get Trinity to calm down " They spent the last ten minutes going into way too much detail about what y'all did in bed trying to one up each other". Jey snickered he couldn't help it. "OK in my defence it was before I was ever with Liv and it was a one night thing". Joe knew it looked bad , Cassie had that disappointed look on her face again , he hated that look. "Well you certainly made an impression because I now know what you did with both of them intimately ". Joe paled , all the colour draining from his face , " What do you mean, what kind of things were they saying?". He looked like he was going to be sick . Trinity was beyond embarrassed " I can't even say it , the things those girls were talking about. Man.". Jey interjected " Uh huh Trin, you gotta tell us what they been saying. Uce deserves to know". Jimmy came to his wife's rescue " OK Trin you just tell me and I will say it". Everyone watched as Trinity whispered to her husband. Jimmy's eyes widened and he almost laughed out loud at least twice. " Come on man" Joe said pissed. " Seriously man , from what Trin says, them girls laid all your business out on the table. I think best thing you can do now is lay low. And please don't fuck anymore of your coworkers.". Trinity held him under a stern gaze " Yeah , keep it your pants , at least in work , all these blondes fighting over you. You know how to pick them". Jey could tell Joe felt bad " Look its done Uce , let's look forward not back ok, at least we all know you got a type. Even though I thought you were a brunette guy". Joe didn't dare look at Cassie when Jey made that comment " OK man I got it, no more sex with my Co workers, I promise". Jimmy, Jey and Trinity left then, leaving Joe and Cassie alone. When the door closed he looked at her " OK let me have it?". She took a sip of her bottle of water, deliberately making him sweat. " Have what? Who you have sex with is your business Joe". Joe had tidied his hair up, Cassie had pulled out most of it from the hair tie when she had been clawing at his hair. She stalked on ahead of him with a roll of her eyes . He watched her swish her hair intentionally to aggravate him " Maybe" he said to himself softly.
