Hey everyone, hope you having a good time, his story is fun to write. I don't own anything.

It was too easy for the gang to ditch Grover at the station. They rushed off when he went to the bathroom. Instead of waiting for him they got their suitcases, slipped outside, and caught the first taxi uptown.

"East One-hundred-and-fourth and First," Percy told the driver and the gang quietly hurried to Percy's home. Everyone signs in relief after ditching Grover, always on their rears and always looking around as he has been followed. It is more annoying than normal.

Katie felt ready to murder someone, after hearing some of Percy's comments about his home life so she went to Terry and Sydney to help investigate it. And what they found pissed them all off as Nathan doesn't want to leave Percy home alone, something they all agree, so a plan was made.

The proof started with them entering Percy's apartment, the group finds Gabe, Percy dougebag step dad looking like a drunk, playing poker with his buddies while the television blared ESPN.

Chips and beer cans were strewn all over the carpet, much to Sydney disgust.

"So, you're home." Hardly looking up, Gabe said around his cigar,

"Where's my mom?" Percy said, not in the mood to deal with him.

"Working," he said. "You got any cash? Who the hell are these losers? A nerd and a sick cunt, at least you got two girls I'll give you that" Gabe said looking over the group as they each glared at him.

Katie felt her blood boiling in her veins as she walked right into him.

"Pleasant to meet you, I'm Katie, I'm 11 years old and I'm labelled with intermittent explosive disorder or IED for idiots." She said and grabbed his hand squeezing so hard the man's bone ground together, making Gabe call out but she did not stop.

"Hey what the? Stop, Jesus what this grip" Gabe tries to claw the grip out but she is not letting go.

"Sorry, can't help it, my muscles sometimes tense so much but bones feel like they're gonna break, I should get it looked at" Katie said, squeezing Gabe as his friends reacted as well.

"What the hell?" A guy tried to say but stopped when a nasty looking scalpel came behind him.

"I'm Nathen, I have a weak immune system and always sick cough cough, this is my safety scalpel, I'm legally allowed to own one due to my personal health risk" Nathen coughs as he holds the knife to his throat as the man holds his hands up.

The other two friends got up getting ready to stop them.

"The fuck is going on?" One man said getting up ready but a whipping stops his hand, holding his hand in pain as he looks to see Sydney holding a whip.

"I'm Sydney, I do beauty pageants, want to see my winning trick" Sydney whips the lash again as he sets back from the dangerous weapon. The last guy stood up.

"What kind of kids are you, I'm calling them…"

chhich

He stops as hearing a familiar noise as he turns to see Terry holding a pistol.

Yes Terry bought a pistol, are you surprised because Percy and the others aren't.

"Terry, now, what did I hear about someone asking a twelve year old for cash? I'm sure the police would love to know the detail especially how you doing drugs in front of minors with their boss cash, I'm sure Jerry Spencer would love to hear about this" Terry introduce himself as he holds the gun and threat to expose them to their boss as they all stand in shock as Percy is too surprised to do anything.

"What the, guys, what are you?" Percy didn't know what to say as he sees his asshole of a step dad in pain alone with Percy's friend holding the others hostage.

"Since when do you get a gun?" Nathan asked, looking at Terry for the first time seeing him holding a gun.

"Seen that we are dealing with Supernatural shit, thought best to be prepared" Terry said holding his gun while still pointing it at them.

"Mine way more useful to the monsters" Sydney winks holding her Harpy whip that have a nasty effect on humans, as she cracks the whip scaring the adults.

Katie caught Gabe's fist as he tried to punch her but she caught her fist and squeezed it and the man screeched as the bones started to crack under the pressure. Pulling him in close, she snarled at Gabe.

"If you ever touch him or Sally, and you lose your arms. I don't mind going to Juvie for snapping your ugly fucken neck." Throwing him back with enough force to send Gabe into a wall, she turned to the others and smiled.

"It was so unfortunate how Gabe fell, wasn't it?" Katie smiles as one tries to say something after a lot of courage, or it was the beer.

"You're insane" The man said, as Nathan held the scalpel closer to his neck.

"No insane is to see a man abuse his wife and take money from children, and you do nothing about it" Nathan growls at him as he gulps.

"You all saw him fall right?" Terry asked, holding the gun around scaring the men.

They all nodded, shaking.

"Yessir." They all agreed as Terry waves his gun around.

"Ahh, you guys are so respectful. Now you are going to clean this apartment top to bottom, all of you, this place is a pig stile," Sydney orders them, as they stare at her confused. Until she cracked her whip.

WHIIIITTTTT

"NOW" She said, holding the whip as they all got to work cleaning the place, as they all watched the remaining adults cleaning up the place.

The gang walked away as they all turned on their heels and marched away with Percy to his room. Percy broke out into deep laughter.

"Holy shit that is so crazy, I know you're insane but I can't thank you enough that was amazing" Percy said to them as they blushed in embarrassment.

"You can thank Katie for that, she was the one that started all this" Nathan said to Percy as Terry and Sydney smiled at him, Katie blushed as Percy looked at her with gratitude.

"I don't care about the loser comment, I heard worse but the rest... that does concern me. I figured he was abusive to you, Percy, I don't tolerate that. If he even breathes around you wrong you tell me straight away then I'll happily kill him." Katie said to Percy as he smiled at her.

"Since when do you have a gun?" Percy asked Terry about the gun.

"Since I found out supernatural was real and I need to defend myself" Terry explains as Sydney looks at him.

"Why didn't you get us any guns?" Nathan narrows his eyes at him as Terry shrugs.

"Katie can beat anyone with her fist, Percy and Sydney have special weapons while both people and even monsters avoid you, I need something to defend myself" Terry explains knowing everyone can take down monsters and Nathen scare everyone leaves him a weak target to kill.

"Would that gun do any better than my weapon," Sydney smiles holding the whips as Terry looks at her weapon before looking at his gun.

"Welll, I mean it a gun, it should hurt someone, cause it a bullet, so it should work but it a supernatural but I spend all this time getting it, which it surpassingly easy to get guns in America but if it doesn't work why did I Fuck" Terry grits his teeth holding his gun, thinking about all he did to get the gun and thinking it was pointless as he pulls the gun on the adults.

"Hey I see you are not working, don't forget what I'm holding" Terry threatens the adults to make sure they don't get any idea as they keep cleaning faster. Percy signs as his friends, while he used to be crazy and loves them for it he doesn't want his mum knowing how crazy they are.

"Ok listen guys, I care about you and I know you have your issues, but please try to restrain yourselves, I don't want you scaring my mom, Please?" Percy begs them, as they all look at each other in shock, never hearing Percy beg until now.

He must really love his mother.

"Of course Percy, I will hold my attitude and keep myself calm when presenting myself in front of your mother" Katie said, standing up straight like a soldier as Nathen shrugs.

"I'm always careful Percy, I took my pill early you know" Nathen nods as he takes pills to calm his cough down.

"Don't worry Percy, I'll be the perfect little girl, like the daughter she never had" Sydney smiles at him with mischief as Percy looks at her with worry.

"I make no promises" Terry said, which is the best you can get from him, as Percy signs before heading to his room with the others following.

"At least hide the weapons, can you do that at least" Percy partially begged them as they nodded even Terry, he can hide his gun. While still having it pointed at those guys' heads.

Frowning, they saw the state of Percy's room. There were muddy boots on the windowsill, it reeked of nasty cologne and cigars and stale beer. They're going to threaten those guys to clean up here too, the group thought.

"Percy?" They jumped at that moment, turning to see a stunningly beautiful woman. Her eyes sparkled and changed colour in the light. Her smile is as warm as a quilt. She's got a few grey streaks mixed in with her long brown hair, but she oozed youth. Sydney could have sworn she felt something in her chest at the sight of her, it wasn't romantic, but she could almost feel the love and happiness she held for Percy as a tidal wave crashed through her. It was an amazing feeling.

"Oh, Percy." She hugged him tight. "I can't believe it. You've grown since Christmas!"

Then she turned to the others and smiled at them.

"And you must be his friends, my baby told me all about you," She smiled at them before looking at Terry.

"Thank you for helping him pass and keeping him on his toe Terry," She gives Terry a hug to his surprise.

"It no problem mam, Percy is smarter then he realised '' Terry looks a little uncomfortable as Percy's mum smiled before seeing Nathan.

"And you Nathan, I heard you want to be a doctor and trying to help everyone, I am glad Percy has a friend like you." Percy's mum went for a hug but Nathan stepped back for her.

"Sorry miss Jackson, I thank you for the compliment but I don't want to get you sick" Nathan explained before holding out his elbow as Percy's mum smiled elbowing Nathan as she turned to Sydney.

"You must be Sydney, Percy right you are a pretty one, I love your hair" Percy's Mom gusts as Sydney to Percy embarrassment.

"Mummm '' Percy whines as Sydney giggles, Katie gives Sydney a side glare that doesn't get noticed by anyone except Nathen and Terry as they smile at each other.

"Why thank you miss Jackson, but I pale compared to you, you're glowing despite your age, what's your secret?" Sydney asked her as Percy mum blush before smiling.

"Oooo you know just this and that, nothing much love" Miss Jackson smiled before looking at Katie as she stood up straight.

"And I didn't forget you Katie, Percy's best friend, also helping him and protecting him from bullies, you have my gratitude" She hugs Katie as she stiffens up not knowing what to do.

"It no worryyyy, Misss JAcksoon, I carrre forrr Percy afterrr all" Katie stutters to everyone surprise, but Percy mum shook her head.

"None of that now call me Sally, you are always welcome in my home, all four of you" She smiled at them before looking at Percy.

"So... what did you do to Gabe? He and his friends are scouring the apartment?" She asks them as Katie grabs her to get her attention.

"Listten to me Sally, I hate those that abuse others, they only respond to strength, I get everyone here to show him who's boss, he is easy to scare once you know his secrets" Katie brings her close as Terry gets in on his as well.

"Ma'am, you seem far too smart to be with a man like that, a useless drunk hurting both you and Percy, why put up with him" Terry asked her as Nathan came to.

"If you feel trapped..cough..if you need help, we can help you. We have connections" Nathan said as both Terry and Sydney nodded.

They were shocked to see fear in her eyes, and pain that he related to as much as could be.

"It is complicated... "She whispered.

"I literally cannot get help for this..." Sydney cuts her off.

"Of course you can. There is almost always a way out, but you have to be the one to reach for it." Sydney tries to encourage her but she sighed again, expelling pain and fear all at once before turning to Percy.

"I have a surprise for you," Sally said. "We're going to the beach."

"Montauk?" Percy's eyes widened.

"Three nights-same cabin."

"When?"

"As soon as I get changed... and every one of you is going with us. I already asked their Caretakers." She smiled to their shock.

"How?" Terry frowned; never saw his people out of his control before, Percy let out a laugh.

"My mom wanted you guy's numbers, to ask your foster parents if you could hang out during the summer... I guess she used it." Percy explains and Sally nodded.

"You are all Percy's closest friends; I had to have you all around." She smiled, and then sighed once more.

"Once we get to Montauk, we'll talk more about... whatever you've forgotten to tell me, okay? All of you." She said to them, as they nod in understanding.

Gabe was a good little, terrified boy and said not a damn word as they left the apartment in his Camaro. It was so sweet that Katie was glaring at him daring him to make a move clearly had no bearings on the situation. None at all really, seeing Terry with a gun and Sydney with a whip.

The rental cabin was on the south shore, way out at the tip of Long Island. It was a little pastel box with faded curtains, half sunken into the dunes. They got there at sunset, opened all the cabin's windows, and went through a cleaning routine, following Nathan and Sydney guidance on how to best clean and design the cabin as Percy mum smiled at this but Percy, Katie and Terry frown to follow Nathan and Sydney guidance.

After that they walked on the beach, fed blue corn chips to the seagulls, and munched on blue jelly beans, blue saltwater taffy, and all the other free samples Sally had brought from work. The boys all play games with some bench sport they found as Sally smiles, watching Percy playing with his friends.

Sally had lovely conversations with Sydney, talking about their lives, their interests and other random stuff. Sally had fun, treating Sydney like the daughter she always wanted as Sydney loved talking to the woman, seeing how Sally needed some girl time.

Katie, seeing this tries to join the conversion to connect with Percy's mother, although she is not as successful as Sydney but Sally made it a point to include Katie into their conversation, asking about life, her interest and giving her a hug. Katie smiles at the hug, loving the feeling of her kindness.

Sally got to know Nathan and Terry as well, especially all the embarrassing stories they have about Percy much to his dismay.

When it got dark, they made a fire. They roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and vegetarian meats that Sally somehow knew to buy! To Nathan and Sydney delight as Sally told them stories about when she was a kid, back before her parents died in the plane crash. She told them about the books she wanted to write someday when she had enough money to quit the candy shop.

Eventually, Percy got up the nerve to ask about his father and Sally's eyes went all misty.

"He was kind, Percy," she said.

"Tall, handsome, and powerful. But gentle, too. You have his black hair, you know, and his green eyes." Sally fished a blue jelly bean out of her candy bag.

"He sounds dreamy" Sydney giggles to the boy's dismay as Katie just blush but hides her face.

"I wish he could see you, Percy. He would be so proud."

"How old was I?" Percy asked. "I mean ... when he left?"

She watched the flames.

"He was only with me for one summer, Percy. Right here at this beach. This cabin." She said to their shock.

"But... he knew me as a baby." Percy asked as the other leaned in.

"He should have, after spending time with your mum" Sydney smiles as the boys groans, Sally smiles before turning to Percy.

"No, honey. He knew I was expecting a baby, but he never saw you. He had to leave before you were born." She sighed then turned to the others.

"So tell me about your parents?" Sally asked them as they all looked at one another, unsure what to say about their families, Katie looked at Sally.

"Both my parents were abusive, always fighting with each other and everyone else, their fights got worse until it went too far and I went to foster care. Haven't seen them much, as I kept moving houses, my violent attitude came from them and growing up with violence, it took time to control my rage and while I have some control I something last out. I try to channel my rage to sports and other physical activities to keep me calm, at least until I meet you guys" Katie explains her past to their surprise, Katie was never this open with her past until now, Nathan decides to talk as well to make her not feel left out.

"I was born ill, my mum was always sick, I never knew my father but from what my mother said he was a doctor trying to help her but no matter what he did she didn't get better. When she did try to take care of me but I've inhibited her illness, she die when I was young, I spend most of my life in hospitals trying to get better, while my health got a little better the doctors don't see me living for long" Nathen said sadly as he takes more pills, everyone looked at him with pity. Terry looked up.

"I was only born from a business deal, my mother made a deal with some rich business prick for profit or something and she said I was one of the 'aspects' she needed to do the deal. She currently lives a luxurious life, while putting me in foster care. Saying she can't look after me, she sent checks and other stuff but we rarely speak to each other, and I never even met the rich prick" Terry shrugs as everyone looks at him.

"Since when were you so open?" Nathan asked, never hearing any of these when asked about his past. Terry shrugs in response.

"Everyone else is doing it, I just want to be popular" Terry said as those who know him rolled their eyes.

Sydney doesn't want to feel left out.

"I was born in a brothel; they just found me in the room, so I never know who my mum or dad is. The whores pretty much raised me until things got rather spicy at the brothel, that when I was spent in foster care. I am always either with foster people that either hate me or love me too much, lucky one of the whore still helps me out every now and then but she can't look after me due to her past" Sydney explains as everyone about her past.

Sally's eyes were wide and filled with pity for the group; so did Percy as well, never knowing his friend's childhood was just as bad.

The conversation deviated from there and none of them really spoke much for the rest of the night.

That night Percy had a vivid and very odd dream. It wasn't like he was participating in the dream, but watching it from above.

It was storming on the beach, and two beautiful animals, a white horse and a golden eagle were trying to kill each other at the edge of the surf. The eagle swooped down and slashed the horse's muzzle with its huge talons. The horse reared up and kicked at the eagle's wings. As they fought, the ground rumbled, and a monstrous voice chuck-led somewhere beneath the earth, goading the animals to fight harder.

Percy ran toward them, trying to stop them from fighting but he was running in slow motion.

As the eagle dived down, its beak aimed at the horse's wide eyes, he screamed, No! And the dream shattered,

Then Percy woke up, looking up from his cabin with the others.

Outside, it really was storming; the kind of storm that cracks trees and blows down houses. There was no horse or eagle on the beach, just lightning making false daylight, and twenty foot waves pounding the dunes like artillery.

With the next thunderclap, Sally woke. She sat up, eyes wide, and said, "Hurricane."

Everyone else started waking up.

"Jesus this is one hell of a storm" Nathan said getting up as did everyone's.

"We have to get out of here" Terry said, holding on to something as the wind blew.

The four got out feeling a strangeness in the air, the sound of hate and rage for the world around them was heard from the four as they looked around in confusion.

"What is this feeling?" Katie asked looking around feeling the rage and hate closing in on them.

However a much closer noise, like mallets in the sand. A desperate voice-someone yelling, pounding on their cabin door. Sally sprang out of bed in her nightgown and threw open the lock.

Grover stood framed in the doorway against a backdrop of pouring rain. But he didn't look like Grover, half his body was the wrong shape, and he was walking with crutches.

"Searching all night, what were you thinking?" he gasped. Sally looked at them in terror-not scared of Grover, but of why he'd come.

"Percy," she said, shouting to be heard over the rain. "What happened at school? What didn't you tell me?"

Percy was frozen, looking at Grover. The others were shocked to see it, until they saw something coming in the distance.

"O Zeu kai alloi theoi!" It's right behind me! Didn't you tell her?" Grover yelled, as Terry was stunned, hearing Grover speak ancient Greek.

"Since when did you speak Greek" Terry had to ask but wasn't heard due to the thunder.

"Did we forget to mention there was a harpy at that museum trip" Sydney mentioned as Sally looked at them sternly and talked in a tone she'd never used before.

"Percy. Tell me now!" Percy stammered something about the old ladies at the fruit stand, and Mrs. Dodds, and Sally mom stared at him, her face deathly pale in the flashes of lightning. She grabbed her purse, tossed everyone their rain jackets,

"Get to the car. All of you. Go!" she order as everyone followed

Grover ran for the Camaro-but he wasn't running, exactly. He was trotting, shaking his shaggy hindquarters, and suddenly his story about a muscular disorder in his legs made sense.

The gang saw that where Grover's feet should be, was cloven hooves.

The gang remember the ancient Greek mythos, making Grover a satyr, and every other supernatural shit is more closer than they could imagen,

Something weird was going on and they were trying to figure it out or lose what was left of their sanity.
