Sally quickly drove though the roads, above the speed limit as she tried to out speed the monster following, she knew this day would come but she thought she had more time. Was it selfish for a mother to see her child one last time?

Now driving at such speed wouldn't be conformable but when you add another person in an already cramped car.

"I'm getting sick," Nathan groaned, not feeling too well within the car, getting motion sickness from the speed.

"Why did I have to sit next to you, open the window, don't you dare vomit on me" Terry threatens, annoyingly having been squished between Nathan and Grover as he tries to push Nathan head away from him.

"Terry can you stop pushing me" Grover tries to politely ask as Terry was pushing him also, right to Kate who was glaring blood murder to him.

"Please do Terry, I already want to kill something right now" Kate was pissed about being in such a close space with the others, Percy was sitting with his mom in the front while everyone took the back seat, it was annoying with the four being close together but adding Grover into it.

"You smell like sweat and BO Katie, didn't you use that perfume I gave you" Sydney complained, having given Kate a bottle of perfume when coming on this trip but from the smell she didn't use it.

"Why would I want to smell like a fruit salad, mangos and bananas, like I trust what stuff you use" Kate said, being pushed into Sydney, forcing her to smell the amount of perfumes she was wearing.

"I'm trying out new smells, which is better than smelling like you ran a gym before burning it to the ground" Sydney complains as she tries to turn her head not to smell Kate.

"What was that you little bitch?" Kate growls as she tries to move but can't due to Grover as she glares at him, scaring him.

"Please drive faster Miss Jackson" Grover asked, more afraid of Kate then the monster following.

"Shut it Grover, Sydney where are those fruit smell things, the amount of BO is killing me" Terry said, asking for something to not smell Nathan and Grover,

"I think they're in the boot in my bag, sorry Terry" Sydney smiles as Terry narrows his eyes, before turning around to reach for the back. Pushing Grover and Nathen.

"Terry what are you doing?" Grover swelled as he pushed right on top of Kate as Nathen groaned.

"This is killing me" Nathen lay his head on the glass, feeling worse now.

"If I'm going to die, I don't want the last thing I smell being your pissed cover fur" Terry said to Grover as Terry causes more issues.

"Terry sit back down, we don't have time for this" Percy said looking about seeing their about to fight it out in a life and death situation.

"I'll make time Percy, it won't take long to kill these two" Kates growls looking at Grover and Terry, as Nathan looks worse.

"Mmmmmmm Oh godddd, where's my bag," Nathan looks around holding his stomach making more of a fuss.

"Stop moving, stop moving, you getting sweat on me" Sydney said as Kate was moving around with Nathan and Grover as they all stuff and fighting at the back of the car. Percy slapped his forehead about this situation.

"QUIT IT" Sally said, with authority as everyone immediately stopped what they're doing and started sitting straight. Fearing Sally's wrath.

Sally takes a deep breath, knowing they're just as scared as she was before talking.

"Nathan your bag at the backseat, Terry take my scarf, Sydney stop talking about Kate and Kate just take a deep breath and calm down" Sally said to all of them, as Nathan grab his bag, Terry took the scarf to block his nose as Sydney crossed her arm pouting and Kate takes a deep breath to calm down.

Grover let out a sign of relief as the chaos around him started to calm. Percy was surprised at how his mother took control and was surprised it works. As they continued to drive, Percy got the courage to ask.

"So Grover, you and my mom... know each other?" Percy's voice was small, but it drew everyone's attention even Sally's though barely as she was keeping a firm eye on the road.

Grover, the scared Satyr, seemed startled as he looked behind him. "Not exactly," he said. "I mean, we've never met in person. But she knew I was watching you."

"Watching me?" Percy asked as the other look at him

"Not in his sleep I hope" Terry asked, vaguely aware of Satyr.

"Only keeping tabs on you. Making sure you were okay. But I wasn't faking being your friend," he added hastily. "I am your friend. Yours too guys... I am sorry I lied, I had no choice."

"This is a lot bigger than us. But lie to me again though and I will rip your legs off." Kate warned but nodded anyway, Grover nodded, shivering in terror.

"Urn ... what are you, exactly?" Percy asked.

"Does that really matter right now?" Nathan asked, not caring about the satyrs right now.

"Of course it matter, From the waist down, my friend is a donkey-"

Grover let out a sharp, throaty "Blaa-ha-ha!" The sound was far too familiar, it was the sound of a goat's bleat. In Terry's face, to his disgust.

"Goat!" Grover cried.

"What?"

"I'm a goat from the waist down."

"You're going to be dead from the waist down Jackass" Terry wipes his face with the scarf.

"Blaa-ha-ha! There are satyrs who would trample you underhoof for such an insult!" Kate grabbed Grover's arm and squeezed, her favourite threat, making the boy shudder.

"I am sorry, just don't say that." Grover backpedalled, looking wide-eyed with fear.

"Whoa. Wait. Satyrs. You mean like" Percy's voice turned the conversation back to him.

"Greek myths" Percy realised their dealing with Greek mythos now.

"Well that makes it easy, if everything's based on Greek myth we should know everything" Sydney said, worried if other myths were real and how that could affect them.

"Not all those studies are actually accurate" Grover said, seeing how info of Greek myths are more to interpretation than facts.

"So which one is after us then" Terry asked, looking back to see which monster is coming.

"Just the Lord of the Underworld and all of his bloodthirsty minions-"

"GROVER!" Sally's voice bellowed out, pained and commanding enough to fully stop any further conversation from anyone.

"So those old ladies at the fruit stand were there?" Percy asked, remembering Grover being scared of them.

"As well Mrs. Dodds" Grover nods, Sydney snaps her fingers.

"So you admit there was a Mrs. Dodds!" Sydney said, pointing at him.

"Of course."

"Then why-" Percy asked but was cut off.

"The less you knew, the fewer monsters you'd attract," Grover said, like that should be perfectly obvious to all of them,

"That makes no sense whatsoever" Terry shakes his head, not knowing a monster was going to kill them doesn't make the monster right in front of you go away.

"We put Mist over the humans' eyes. We hoped you'd think the Kindly One was a hallucination. But it was no good. Thanks to Terry and Nathen you all started to realise who you are." Grover explains as Nathan look at him

"The fuck is that supposed to mean?" Nathan asked why he being blamed,

"Language" Sally said, can't help but to mother.

The weird bellowing noise rose up again somewhere behind them, closer than before. Whatever was chasing them was still on their trail.

"Percy," Sally said, "there's too much to explain and not enough time. We have to get you all to safety."

"Sorry, Mrs. Jackson. Could you drive faster, please?" Sydney asked, starting to see a monster figure coming.

Kate shivered, her body aching with the realisation that someone in fact is trying to kill them. However, one thing stuck in her mind.

"Why is everyone surprised that we are like Percy?" Kate asked, seeing Grover and their teacher more surprised about them then Percy.

"Your scent was masked by Percy's, and you guys... are not dyslexic nor do you have ADHD, your scents are different compared to Percy's" Grover turned, wide-eyed.

Sally made a hard left. We swerved onto a narrower road, racing past darkened farmhouses and wooded hills and PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES signs on white picket fences.

"Where are we going?" Percy asked.

"A Summer camp, one your father told me about... you all need to go there for your safety." Sally's voice was tight; she was trying for Percy's sake not to be scared.

"Try to understand. You're in danger."

"Because some old ladies cut yarn."

"I know I should have beaten those hags" Terry said, those old hags were rich and now are trying to kill them

"Those weren't old ladies, Terry" Grover frustrated with him. "Those were the Fates. Do you know what it means Terry, the fact they appeared in front of all of you? They only do that when someone is about to die, and you know what you did? You yelled at them, took the yarn and cut nearly all of it, you might as well kill us all" Grover cries out, seeing this was not going to end well with them.

"Whoa. You said those fates appear when were about to die'" Percy said, turning with terror in his eyes.

"No I didn't. I said 'someone.'" Grover said,

"But Terry took those threads and the scissors, so why aren't we dead" Sydney asked, if those old ladies were the fates

"I don't know, just that Terry made it so much worse, either we die or someone else dies" Grover said terrible of what is to came

"Less hope it not us" Sydney said, not caring about the others as she stare at Terry

"How was I supposed to know they control everyone's fate" Terry said, not caring as well.

"You shouldn't antagonise any old lady Terry" Nathan said, feeling motion sickness.

"When some old lady spit at my face I'll let you cough on her, give a natural death" Terry said glaring at Nathan.

"Killing an elder is pathetic," Kate said, finding killing someone weaker or frail to be sad.

"Please you do so much worse to anyone that looks at you funny, which is very often" Terry said as Kate looks ready to kill.

"How about I start with you" Kate was about to move to hurt Terry with Grover is the way as he looks ready to shit himself.

"Stop it!" Percy's mom said.

She pulled the wheel hard to the right, and Nathan got a glimpse of a figure she'd swerved to avoid-a dark flutter-ing shape now lost behind them in the storm.

"What was that?" Nathan asked, looking around to see it better.

"We're almost there," Sally said, ignoring his question. "Another mile. Please. Please. Please."

There was a blinding flash, a jaw-rattling boom! And the car exploded

And the world went black.

LINE

Everyone groaned, Nathan peeled his blood temple off of the window.

"Fuck." He groaned, pained from everything.

"Percy!" Sally shouted. Her eyes turned to the others. "Kate! Nathan! Sydney! Terry!"

"I'm okay... ." Percy squeaked out.

"I'm not…ow" Sydney groaned in pain, flying out of the car and hitting the ground earlier.

"This isn't funny" Terry said, feeling someone on top of him.

"Is Sally ok?" Kate is concerned for Sally.

"Get the fuck off me" Terry said, trying to push Kate off him.

The car hadn't really exploded. They'd swerved into a ditch. The driver's-side doors were wedged in the mud. The roof had cracked open like an eggshell and rain was pouring in.

Lightning, Somehow, They'd been blasted right off the road. Nathan looked to see next to him in the backseat was a big motionless lump.

"Grover!" Percy said, He was slumped over, blood trickling from the side of his mouth.

Percy shook his furry hip, and the boy groaned more. "Food,"

"Still useless" Sydney groaned as she was thrown out of the car through the roof, now slowly limping to the car to help out.

"Percy," Sally said, "we have to ..." Her voice faltered hearing a roar Nathan would look too but his neck ached when it turned.

"Who is-" Percy swallowed hard.

"Percy," Sally said, deadly serious. "Get out of the car."

Sally threw herself against the driver's-side door. It was jammed shut in the mud. Percy tried his. Stuck too. With all her strength, Kate rammed her entire body into her side of the car, with Terry pushing her.

The entire car moved, almost tipping over, which should not have been possible given her size. Tears fell down her face, she turned and saw Sally's fear, Percy's shock, Terry confusion, Nathan's illness and Sydney's fear and it broke something in her. She hated it, she hated being so helpless and seeing people she cared for so hurt.

It was then, in the midst of that misery a familiar rage boiling inside, that energy surged through her soul, her muscles ached with it and her slight glow on her skin of red. Knowing her rage gave made her stronger than ever before, she punched the door and it flew away, the entire door tearing through the mud and tearing off into the distance. Turning she grabbed Grover and pulled him out, as Terry and Nathan came out, grabbing Percy's door and tearing it off effortlessly, tossing it away.

"COME ON!" She called through the rain.

"Everyone-you have to run. Do you see that big tree?" Sally called out

"What?" Sydney asks to see Sally and tries to get her out.

Another flash of lightning, and they saw what she meant, a huge, White House Christmas tree-sized pine at the crest of the nearest hill.

"That's the property line," Sally said. "Get over that hill and you'll see a big farmhouse down in the valley. Run and don't look back. Yell for help. Don't stop until you reach the door." Sally explains.

"Mom, you're coming too." Her face was pale, her eyes as sad as when she looked at the ocean.

"No!" Percy shouted. "You are coming with me."

"Food!" Grover moaned, a little louder and Nathan got up to pick Grover from Kate and threw the bigger boy over his shoulder in a perfect fireman's carry. He felt the strength hurting him, not waning, his panic, his worry, not for himself but for his friends and Sally burned in his body greater than anything he had ever felt. He knew his body was hurting more than he knows medically but right now he doesn't feel that pain. He doesn't know how but he knew it would not, could not last, but he would milk it for all he could until they were safe.

'Even if it costs me my life.' Nathan thought as he held Grover over his shoulders.

Turning slightly, they saw a massive hulking figure with what he swore were horns on his head.

"He doesn't want us," Sally told them. "He wants you, all of you. Besides, I can't cross the property line."

"But..." Percy tries to say.

"We don't have time, Percy. Go. Please."

"That information would have helped us early Sally, lying to Percy and leaving him unprepared for any of this" Terry said, while he liked Sally, felt annoyed by her lack of preparedness if she knew this would happen. Terry and Kate broke the glass and got Sally out of the car.

Grumbling, Sydney and Nathan turned back once more and this time she got a good look at the beast behind them. He was seven feet tall, easy, his arms and legs like something from the cover of Muscle Man magazine-bulging biceps and triceps and a bunch of other 'ceps, all stuffed like baseballs under vein-webbed skin. He wore no clothes except under-wear. Coarse brown hair started at about his belly button and got thicker as it reached his shoulders. His neck was a mass of muscle and fur leading up to his enormous head, which had a snout as long as my arm, snotty nostrils with a gleaming brass ring, cruel black eyes, and horns-enormous black-and white horns with points.

Percy, who had also turned around, gaped out. "That's-"

"Pasiphae's son," Sally said. "I wish I'd known how badly they want to kill you."

"That the fucken Min-" Kate stopped Terry before he could say anything.

"Don't you dare say it name" Kate growls, every time Terry says a monster name they grow bigger and stronger, something they really don't need right now.

"Good, never say their name" Sally said, happy to see Kate doing the right thing.

"Names have power." Sally warned.

The pine tree was still way too far-a hundred yards uphill at least.

The bull-man hunched over their car, looking in the windows-or not looking, exactly. More like snuffling, nuz-zling.

"Food?" Grover moaned, on top of Nathan as they walked quietly away.

"Shut up," Nathan said, walking up with the group as they make way to the tree

"Mom, what's he doing? Doesn't he see us?" Percy ask her, following her to the tree

"His sight and hearing are terrible," she said. "He goes by smell. But he'll figure out where we are soon enough."

"How does a monster known to go through a maze have terrible hearing" Terry asked, have heard of the Minotaur,

As if on cue, the bull-man bellowed in rage. He picked up Gabe's Camaro by the torn roof, the chassis creaking and groaning. He raised the car over his head and threw it down the road.

It slammed into the wet asphalt and skidded in a shower of sparks for about half a mile before coming to a stop. The gas tank exploded.

"Everyone," Sally said getting their attention

"When he sees us, he'll charge. Wait until the last second, then jump out of the way- directly sideways and separate. He can't change directions very well once he's charging. Do you understand?"

"How do you know all this?" Nathan asked her, confused how she knew about the bull freak.

"I've been worried about an attack for a long time. I should have expected this. I was selfish, keeping you near me. Terry's right I should have prepared you" Sally said, Terry would have smiled if the bull monster wasn't looking for them.

"Keeping me near you? But-"Percy asked but another bellow of rage, and the bull-man started tromping uphill.

He'd smelled them.

The pine tree was only a few more yards, but the hill was getting steeper and slicker, the grass thicker.

The bull-man closed in. Another few seconds and he'd be on top of them.

"Go! Separate! Remember what I said." Sally called out. The group separated, Nathan and Terry went to the right carrying Grover, Kate and Sydney went around as Percy sprinted to the left, turned, and saw the creature bearing down on him. His black eyes glowed with hate. He reeked like rotten meat. He lowered his head and charged, those razor-sharp horns aimed straight at his chest.

'I could never outrun this thing.' Percy thought, He held his ground, and at the last moment, he jumped to the side as he readied the pencil sword.

The Minotaur stormed past like a freight train, then bellowed with frustration and turned, but not toward Percy, but to his mother, Sally,

They reached the crest of the hill. Down the other side Percy saw a valley, just as his mother had said and the lights of a farmhouse glowing yellow through the rain. But that was half a mile away.

'We'd never make it,' Percy thought.

The Minotaur grunted, pawing the ground. He kept eyeing Sally, who was now retreating slowly downhill, back toward the road.

"Run, Percy!" She shouted. "I can't go any farther. Run!"

The Minotaur charged her. She tried to sidestep, as she'd told Percy to do, but then he had learned his lesson. His hand shot out and grabbed her by the neck as she tried to get away.

He lifted her as she struggled, kicking and pummelling the air.

"Mom!" Percy yelled, running towards her, the others saw it and made their way to Sally.

Sally caught Percy's eyes, managed to choke out one last word "Go!"

Before the Minotaur could do anything as whip hit him, making him scream in pain as he let go of Sally, Sally choked her breath as Percy and Kate ran to her.

"Mom! You ok?" Percy asked, Sally nodded as Kate picked her up, and gave her to Percy.

"I don't care what you say, we are getting you away from that thing, Percy takes your mother to the guys while me and Sydney keep grounded beef distracted." Kate growls as Percy quickly takes her Mum up beside her protest as Kate runs to the beast.

Sydney was doing well with the whip, the Minotaur roared in rage as he tried to hit her. But Sydney acrobatics works as she flips to the side avoiding each punch and hits the whip, hurting him.

"Come on you horny bastard" Sydney taunted, as the bull charged at Sydney, Sydney waited until it was close enough then she flipped on her hands across the bull, the minotaur missed and hit the tree.

The minotaur gets winded after hitting a tree, he rubs his head as he turns to find that sweet smelling girl with the nasty whip.

"Hey Bull Fucker" another voice, as the minotaur turn to meet a fist to the face, Kate with the familiar rage from before jump and punch the bull in the face, knocking him back.

The Minotaur got up and narrowed his eyes at the other girl, her smell of rage and blood frightened the minotaur but he would not back down from a challenge.

RAOOOOOOOOOOOOR

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" Kate yelled back at the beast as both she and Sydney did the dance of death with the beast.

LINE

Meanwhile Terry and Nathen are bashing the big doors to a farm house trying to open them.

"Help Please, we have wounded, open up" Nathan pleaded, seeing that Grover might have a concussion.

"Open this fucking door, you're supposed to open to whoever ask for help" Terry getting pissed at them not opening his fucken Farm door.

"This is as far as I can go Percy, you have to go the rest of the way, just keep heading to the farmhouse and knock on the door, and everything will be explained there." Sally said, holding her neck in pain making the boy's head snap towards her mother.

"What?! Mom, no! I'm not going to leave you behind with that thing out there! You're already hurt" Percy said, refusing to leave his mother with the Minotaur out there.

"Percy, I'm sorry, but I can't! I'm not like you, that's why only you and the others can enter the camp. Please just-" Sally said, only to stop when Terry grabbed her arm.

"Honestly, Sally, it's not that hard to walk into a camp. I don't know why you have to be so dramatic." Terry said while rolling his eyes before walking past the pine tree, pulling a shocked Sally along.

"Wh-what…b-bu-bu-but…th-th-th-that's…" Stuttered Sally, not believing what just happened, having been told it's impossible for normal humans to enter camp.

"See? It not a big fucking deal" Terry said, making Sally look at him in shock and disbelief, Nathan saw Sally immedially ran to her, seeing the red mark on her neck by the minotaur.

"My god Sally, are you ok, shit we need an ice pack and medical attention" Nathan said, pulling his mask off to see the mark better.

"Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up!" Said Terry loudly as he banged on the door, much to Percy's and Sally's growing disbelief.

"What is happening chchch" Sally coughs as Nathan tries to help her.

"Sally we don't have time for this, the girls can't last that long" Nathan said, seeing the girls fighting the Minotaur. Percy turns to see them fighting too.

"Shit, mum stay here while I help the girls, I'll be right back Nathan look after her" Percy holds his hand to his probably most reliable friend out of this group.

"Don't worry Percy, nothing will happen to her, I promise." Nathan nods, as he grabs Sally as Percy runs down sword ready.

"Wait Percy no" Sally tries to stop him but Nathan holds her back.

"We can't help them, we need to open this door and get help" Nathan said to Sally as she looked concerned seeing her son fight the Minotaur but nods as they turn to see Terry still shouting.

"You…you can't just bang on a door and shout like that!" Sally said, not believing Terry was actually doing that, Nathan tries to calm her down.

"I can't? Why not? Oh wait, I'm supposed to yell, "Wilma". Wilma! Wilma! WILMA! WILMA! WILMA!" Terry asked in confusion, before continuing to bang on the door while now yelling "Wilma" over and over, getting louder and louder as she did so.

"Terry! What the hell do you think this is, the Flintstones?!" Nathan said, can't believe he is doing this right now.

"Shut up Nathan, Wilma needs to open this door so we can fight that minotaur" Terry said, before pulling out a gun scaring Sally.

"Where do you get a gun?" Sally asked, scared to see a child with a gun.

"Early to threaten your abusive husband, now stand back, WILMA!" Terry continues to shout, shooting the gun in the sky for attention.

BOOOOOOOOOOL

BLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOW

BLLLLOOOOOOOOW

Shoots were fired in the air as Nathan and Sally covered their ears to the gunshot and Terry yelling 'WILMA'

It went like this until it finally opened revealing an irritated girl.

The girl could be described as having the height of a basketball player and the muscular body of a rugby player, She has dark eyes and pale brown hair that is described as stringy. She also has vicious sneer.

"What!? Woo" Demanded the girl in annoyance at the constant banging and shouting now gunshots, only for her eyes to widen at seeing Terry pointing a gun at her.

"Wilma, listen to me, my friends are down there, fighting Asterion, you know the Minotaur of the Labyrinth, Pasiphaë's Son, Monster for the Titans, killed by Theseus son of King Aegeas of Athens" Terry said explain to 'Wilma' shock and Nathan disbelief and anger.

"Terry what the fuck did we just say" Nathan cries out as a large roar was hear, this time everyone in the place heard as more kids for look similar to 'Wilma' showed up as well as others.

ROOOOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRRR

LINE

The Minotaur was getting pissed off, this red headed girl was almost a match for him, nearly he felt another demigod fight him with fist alone, and must less fight him on equal grounds.

Normally the Minotaur would kill her due to size difference but that other sweat smelling girl keeps hitting him with the whips, which is the worst pain he ever felt, and the look of glee on that girl's face is not natural.

It was a stand it as the red head keeps fighting with her fist and rage pointing the minotaur on defences, he tries to block it but he is not used to fighting people hand to hand, and that other girl keeps whipping his legs and arms, leaving nasty wounds.

"You think you can mess with my friends, ahhhhhhhh" Kate screams in anger punching the bull leg as he jumps back avoiding the whip from that girl.

"Why are you running Mr Bull, the fun just getting started" Sydney smiles gleefully as she crack the whip at the monster,

WHHHHHHHHHITTT

The Minotaur roars in pain as he gets pissed, starts to charge at them, ready to take them both down at once.

"Leave them alone, it me you want" Percy calls out as the Minotaur turns to look. Percy already cut the monster's legs with his sword, making the minotaur roar in pain only to get punched in the head.

Kate gives it another punch as Sydney whips him in the face, leaving a gash on his eyes.

"Raaaaarr" the beast roared in pain, holding his eyes as he growls at them, but they stand their ground.

"We can take him," Percy said, confident they can beat this bastard together.

"You know it" Sydney winks, cracking the whip ready for round two.

The minotaur growls in rage, who do these demi-gods think they are, that he was a joke, he was Asterion, the Son of Pasiphaë and the Monster for the Titans. He was so powerful they construct a gigantic maze, the Labyrinth, to hold his strength, every seven years, seven youths and seven maidens in Athens were taken from their families as sacrifices to him to keep him distract, he fought and kill so many demi-god and heroes, so why was he so weak!

The Minotaur growls in rage, as his muscle starts to expand, his armour starts to appear. Yes, he now remembers who he is. As he punches through the ground to pick up his weapons, his two battle axes, he is Asterion, the Monster of the titans.

(Asterion from Danmachi)

ROOOOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRRR

Percy and Sydney set back in shock at monster size increase and weapons but Kate only had one thing to say.

"Fuck you Terry" Kate said, getting ready for the fight of her life.
