Eda has been having trouble regaining her magic and with the added stress… there is a strong possibility that the Owl Beast could get out.

Eda needed to find a way to stay awake, needed to find a way to gain her magic back, gain a way to protect her family…
Belos has a beast, and he can still use his magic, how is the question and he wouldn't tell her?!
"There is no cure, and you cannot help her. The only person who can help her is herself. That is what I learned when I spent the first decades of my curse. There is a way for stability and survival but only she can find it."
"Think about it, Miss. Clawthorne. If there is no cure, what is left of a choice?"
"Edalyn, you have the power. It's inside your soul. All I can leave you is some advice. If removal or a cure is not those paths to take, then what?"

Why couldn't he flat-out say what she needed to do?
I realized that the best way to help with Eda's health was to ensure she slept. I learned of a technique from Emperor Belos Hoot-hoot on how to help fussy children sleep and found the recipe….
Eda then noticed that Hooty had brought over cookies and milk. She felt stressed eating and gobbled down the treats and milk. By the time she realized that Hooty drugged her with sleep magic in her food and drink, it was already too late.
"I can't believe I fell for the oldest trick in the book!" The Wild Witch boomed in rage with Hooty's interference in her research for a way to restore her magic once more.
She looked around her mind and was soon face-to-face with once again the Owl Beast!
"Okay, here we go!" Eda growled as she was no longer running away from the monster who ruined her life.
No, she was going to face it.
She was going to fight this brute once and for all.
Eda went through her memories with the beast, from when she was cursed by her sister before the Mark of Mastery Exam, from when she first transformed and fled the exam room, when weeks later after fleeing, returning home and mauling her father after he showed her fireworks for his palisman store, not knowing she was cursed… the moment she mauled him when she became the Owl Beast, the moment she ran away from home and was forced to hide in the human world with the first door, the moment the Owl Beast drove her first love away, causing Raine who was upset that she hid this from them to leave her when she attacked Luz as the Owl Beast when she finally found out that Lilith was the one who cursed her in the first place and was almost petrified by the cult...
It all goes back to the same source…
All this deep anger…
All this deep hate…
All this pain…
It came from the Owl Beast! It was never her but it! Her life was ruined because of it, and she had had enough!
"You want to ruin my life, Feather Freak? Want to drive me over the edge!? Well, guess what?! You're going to find out, you parasite, that I am not the best host to have! What goes around comes around!" Eda declared as she wrestled the beast, only to be introduced to its own dark, horrible memories…
She would finally see what it had endured long ago.
The Owl Beast was born of the flesh of a Titan, like its brothers and sisters, she remembered the first creature she saw was the wise and kind Elk Beast. Then the Spider Beast, the Wolf Beast, the Bat Beast, the Serpent Beast, the Rose Beast, the Swamp Beast, the Crystal Beast, the Fox Beast, the Decay Beast, the Lightning Beast, and the Turtle Beast.
All were there and each with a great power. The Owl Beast was the ruler of the wind and sky as she could breathe the air and brought the breeze. She felt like a prideful animal, truly prideful but then… they came.
They began capturing her brothers and sisters until she and the Elk Beast were left! They tried to run, they tried to flee but-but…
Eda finally understood.
He gave comfort to the confused and scared creature.
"Hey… we didn't ask to be stuck together but now we are and… look, we can't keep doing what we were doing so, how about a truce for now?" Eda offered and then presented some Elixir for the Owl Beast.
She licks it up and then purred. Soon the world was covered in light and color.
When Eda awoke, she was transformed with full control!
Wait…

Then Hooty saw her and despaired.
"I made it worse! I made it worse!"
Hooty fled as Eda tried to stop him. He then sobbed outside as he realized he hurt two of his friends.
Blue sighed and smiled as Hooty didn't realize he had done a very good thing.
I really felt like a failure, Lulu. I didn't seem to do everything right and I only hope that I can at least help Luz… If I couldn't then what right do I have to be still a part of the family or the right to be a part of the Owl House?
