Hello! This chapter is placed 5 years later where Anne is going through changes *cough* *cough*. And yes TV s exist, modern TVs. Just because Narnia is a fantasy world doesn't mean there isn't TV. And phones, and headphones. If I'm ruining it then don't read it. Ok enjoyyyy!!
Trigger Warning: Blood, Tons of it.
Blood. Tons of it. In her underwear. Annelise was panicking. She remembered the talk with her parents about puberty. Not her best moment, but she is still panicking despite remembering the talk. Her entire bed sheet is filled with blood, so is her blanket. She heard her dad's echoed footsteps in the hallway, she figured that he is passing by to wake her up. She quickly hid the bloody sheets with the non bloody side of the blanket and acted like she just woke up. She carefully hid her bloodied nightdress by standing and facing the door with her "sleepy face". Just then, Caspian opened the door.
"Oh sweetie! You're up early!" Caspian said surprisingly.
"Yep!" Anne replied, ignoring the sharp pain in her stomach.
"You ok? You look a little pale. Are you sick?" Caspian said, walking towards her.
"What? No? I am perfectly fine. Everything's ok!" Anne said with a questionable grin on her face and a sarcastic tone.
"You sure? You're acting a little weird-"
"Weird? Me? You know how I am. I am so quirky." Anne said, with a tone which was not believable at all. Caspian raised an eyebrow and nodded, unsure how to react.
"Alright?" Caspian replied with uncertainty in his voice.
"Can you get mom please?" Anne asked.
"Really? You usually throw pillows and have fits of rage when anyone but me comes to wake you up." Caspian questioned.
"Yes! I am trying new things!" Anne said.
"Alright , I'll send her in. Can I atleast get a hug?" Caspian asked.
"Alright" Anne replied trying not to give it away. Caspian approached for a hug and as he looked down when giving her a hug, he noticed the huge stain of blood on her night dress.
"Ohhh. That's why you're acting weird." Caspian announced.
"You saw that... Didn't you?" Anne said uncomfortably. Caspian knelt down.
"Anne, I'm your father. You can always come to me. I mean I am not uneducated nor am I not going to support you. These things are normal." Caspian said.
"I know. I'm sorry." Anne pouted.
"Don't give me that look, I am going to become an ice cream on a hot sunny day." Caspian said as they both chuckled.
"Well Congratulations! You're officially a young lady. I think a Moon Party is in Order!" Caspian Said.
"No dad, please no. It's embarrassing!" Anne said.
"Nonsense you're a princess, people has to know-"
"No! No! No! No! No! No!" Anne exclaimed.
"I am joking! Take it easy!" Caspian replied. Anne stopped and hugged him again. Caspian gave her a tight bear hug like he always gives her when she was down.
"Well let me call your mom. But first, let's check your bed and clean it up."Caspian said
"No I rather not-"
"OH MIGHTY ASLAN! That's... a lot of blood..." Caspian announced while pulling the blanket off the bed.
"What's all this yelling?" Susan entered. Her eyes widened at the sight.
"Congratulations sweetie! You're officially a woman!" Susan said, trying to sugar coat it.
"Well I don't want to be a woman, because my stomach is trying to murder me." Anne replied.
"Ok good, I don't have to sugar coat it. Being a woman is dreadful during these times." Susan said.
"Let me get you pads. Go take a shower before you get blood on the carpet. You remember how to put on a pad right?" Susan asked.
"Yes ma'am." Anne replied.
"Alright good. I will be right back. Head to the shower immediately." Susan said.
"And I will get you tea, some pain killers if your stomach punches you really bad. I will also get you some clean bed sheets and a new blanket." Caspian said.
"Thanks daddy." Anne said and gave him a big hug.
"No problem kiddo." Caspian sniffled.
"Are you crying-"
"There are tons of work to be done, quickly go to the shower." Caspian told her swiftly while pointing at the bathroom door.
"Ok jeez" Anne said and with that she hopped to the shower.
While she was still showering, Susan and Caspian entered her room. Susan left her a a packet of pads while she was showering as the door was open and Caspian left the tea and the medicine on her bedside table. They both sat down on the carpet waiting for Anne to finish.
"Where is Athena?" Caspian asked breaking the silence.
"She is playing outside with Lucy. I told her to keep Athena away from the "Crime Scene"." Susan said. They both chuckled.
"Well I guess our little girl has grown up. Honestly I didn't expect it." Caspian said.
"You do realise she is twelve-"
"I still didn't expect it! I thought she will always be my little girl." Caspian said with a bittersweet voice.
"I know." Susan agreed. Susan gave him a kiss and Caspian gladly returned it and then suddenly-
"Oh come on! Honestly if you weren't the king or queen people would've thought you are still in Highschool!" Anne interrupted causing them both to break apart. They both chuckled.
"Well, how do you feel?" Susan asked while they both stood up.
"Weird. Feels like I am wearing a diaper." Anne said.
"It's going to be ok after some time. Why don't I help you get dressed. You can't just wear your pyjamas forever." Susan said.
"Aww." Anne said disappointingly.
"Alright Caspian get out." Susan said
"Are you also on your period-"
"I said get out!" Susan exclaimed.
"Fine! I am going to play with Athena, she is the only one who isn't mean to me." Caspian said feigning sadness as he exited the room.
"Honestly your father never changed!" Susan said to Anne.
"Well... Are you on your period?" Anne asked.
"Well... yeah..." Susan replied while helping her into a simple and modern attire, which consisted of a pullover and a trouser she picked out.
"Mom!" Anne exclaimed.
"It's alright he will get to know soon enough." Susan said while doing her hair.
"How?" Anne asked.
"My Calendar! If you want to keep track you also should mark your calendar." Susan said.
"Alright." Anne said.
After dressing up, she headed to the Royal Library, which Caspian built for Susan in Cair Paravel, as a wedding gift. Every single English book from all over the Galaxy was shelved here. She was just as her mother, a massive bookworm. She was looking for a new series. She was listening to her dad's favourite Earth Band, Queen with her headphones and her phone that was gifted by her uncle Anakin when he visited from Earth. He even made a custom charger which was powered by sunlight. Caspian was passing by the library when he caught a glance of his oldest daughter searching for books. He walked over to her to see what she was searching for.
"Need any help?" Caspian asked, walking over to her.
"Oh, hey dad!" Anne greeted as she put her headphones away and walked over to the sofa with her newly founded dystopian novel, "Shatter Me".
"What were you listening to?" Caspian asked following her and sitting on the couch.
"Killer Queen, by your favourite band, Queen." Anne answered.
"Nice! Can I see what you're reading?" Caspian asked.
"It's a dystopian novel, Shatter Me." Anne said passing him the book.
"I remember your mom finishing the entire series in a month." Caspian said.
"Really?" Anne asked.
"Yes. She read it when I was trying to sleep." Caspian said.
"That sounds like mom." Anne replied.
"How are you feeling? Still got cramps?" Caspian asked.
"No the pain killers helped. Thanks dad." Anne said.
"No problem kiddo." Caspian said while walking over to her and gave a kiss on her forehead.
"Well, I should get going. The Kingly duties await. We have to go to Telmar, to check up on them." Caspian said.
"We?" Anne asked.
"Your mom is coming with me." Caspian said.
"Can I come?" Anne asked.
"Really? With all what's going on?" Caspian asked.
"I mean I can't just skip training just because of that. It's good to have practice. Besides mom is also on her time of the month." Anne said.
"I knew it! Well I'll see you in front of the palace gate by 4." Caspian said.
"Alright." Anne replied.
Afterwards, they went to Telmar together and checked if everything is alright. They came back how to their own mansion in the forest instead of staying at Cair Paravel. After dinner, they all went to peaceful slumber, well at least the kids. Caspian and Susan however...
Thanks for reading. I always pictured Caspian as a fun dad, while Susan is calm and collected. Despite Caspian being a fun dad he is immensely overprotective as you know from the previous chapters. I hope you enjoyed and please leave reviews. Ok byeeeeeeee!!!
