Chapter 1

Lost in the snow

Kirito Pov: Sharilton: it been about a month since we encounter the hold Negamon thing. Man that was insane, I'm glad that it over. Now we can focus on cleaning up the mess Grimmon machine made for us. Marcus and Ludger assure everyone they can handle the new tamers as get the tamers system and Dats stuff working. As for me, I been working to get my game company up and running. Lucky Ludger been giving me a hand in learning on what I need to know about running a company. Right now everyone is at Driselle house taking it easy. I sat under a tree with Asuna sitting in my lap as we enjoy the shade. Yuuki was playing with Yui and Yui Digimon Bosomon, He look like a yellow rabbit head with green tips on his ears. Sinon was polishing her rifle next to us. "Ah this is the life don't you agree Kirito?" Asuna ask form my arms. "Yeah, I'm glad all of the fighting is done, the Negamon thing was brutal." I said. "Hey, I'm glad you guys didgn't end up dead, that thing was like a boss out of SAO." Sinon said.

"Man I wish I could have fight it with you big sis, i would have kick it sorry butt." Yuuki said as she punches at the air making Yui giggle. "Maybe next time aunt Yuuki, I wish I could fight too." Yui said. "Worry not Yui, your time will come." Bosomon said from her lap. I swear the furball is more mature then he look. Suddenly Vielemon stood on edge. "What is it Vi?" I ask. "Kirito something coming." He said. "Guys there something wrong with the sky." Elle said as we saw the sky was turning grey. Suddenly a white tear open up as white light shot down over us. We each started to floated off the ground. "What going on!" Zorome shout as he frail around. "It some kind of portal it pulling us in." Erika shout as she held onto Keisuke. "Sis caught." Yuuki shout as he toss Yui and Bosomon into Asuna arms. We were getting pull into the portal above us. "Mommy, daddy I'm scare." Yui said as I pull her and Asuna close. "It going to be ok hold on.' I said as there was a flash of light. When it clear we clash into the ground. It felt cold as I notice it was cover in snow?

I got up to see were in a snowy mountains. It was night as well and a damn blizzard was going on. I saw Asuna, Yui, Sinon, Yuuki and our Digimon are here. "Everyone ok." I ask as I help my family up. "Were fine, but where are we?" Asuna ask as we look around. "By the look of it maybe Atlas?" Sinon said. "Not quite Miss Aoi." A voice said. We grab our weapons to see a man with white hair and suit standing behind us. "Who are you!" I shout. He held his hand up. "No no need for that Kirito I'm a friend. My name is Pax travos." He said as he bow. "Who are you and where are we?" Asuna said as she hug Yui close to herself. "I am what call a dimensional guide, I'm the one who brought you to this world for I need your help." Pax said. "How so?" Sinon ask not taking her rifle off of him. "Due to another matter going on in the multiverse, beings from others world are ending up in world not their own. Like this one, an old foe of your is here, Death gun I believe he call himself." Pax said.

I gash. "Your telling that fucker Red eye Zara is here somewhere?" I ask as the snow press against me. "Yes, in the form of his Death gun avatar none the less. Your task to to defeat him, once that is finish I will return you all to Remnant." Pax said. I look to the others. "What do you guys think?" I ask. 'I can't let that bastard go Kirito not after what he and his brother try to do to me." Sinon said as she clench her fist in anger. "Neither can I, letting a member of Laughing coffin run around is never good." Asuna said. "If big sis think he bad then I'm in too." Yuuki said with a grin. I turn to pax. "Ok were in, where do we start?" I ask. "I'll explain things first, your on Earth in the year 1899. The wild west to be exact, there a group of outlaws trying to find there place in life, assisting them will be your best way to find Death gun." He said. "Where can we find them?" I ask as Yui sneezes. "Daddy I'm freezing." She said. " We should find shelter sone soon, none of us are dress for this weather." Asuna said as she pick up Yui.

"Head down this road, it will take you to a farmstead there you will need the outlaws, what more Kirito you may have trouble wth how they do things but it the only way they can live." Pax said as he walk away in the snow and vanish. Just who is this guy. "Come on we need to find that farm." I said as we begins our march in the snow. "Brr, I may be a deep water kind of gal, but even this is too much for me." Syakomon said as Yuuki carries here since she need flowing water to move. "Yeah, we need to get out of this cold soon, I don't know ho much more Yui can take." I said as Yui was wrap up in my coat as Asuna carries her on her back. Fuck me it so cold. I then notice something in the distance a light. "I think I see the farmstead." I said. 'Let hurry before were ice cubes." Yuuki said as we rush for the farm once we got to it we hear something. It sound like horses. We look behind to see a trio of man on horses coming to us as they stop in front of us. One was a man with black hair and mustache, the second was a man with brown hair and a beard. The 3rd was grey with what look like mutton chops

They all dress like cowboys, guess were really in the old west. "Excuse me you youngen live here?" The black hair one ask. "No, sir were lost, we just happen to find this place." I said. "You kids don't look like your dress for these parts." Mutton chop said clearing mocking us. "How we got here is kind of a really long story. If you don't mind we have a child that is freezing to death." Asuna said as Yui was shaking even more. "We can see, our group is having bad luck as well, were hoping the people at this farm can help, I'm Dutch van der linde, these two are Arthur morgan and Micah bell." Dutch said. "Kirito Kirigaya, these are my wife Asuna, our daughter Yui, our friends Sinon and Yuuki and our Digimon Vielecmon, Syakomon and Bosomon." I said. "Strange pets you kids have." Arthur said. "Like your one to talk." Syakomon said scaring them. "We'll be." Micah said. "We can discuss this later let us check that farm for help." Dutch said. "I'm coming too." I said. 'Alright boyo but it you get shot that on you." Micah said. "I'm no stranger when it come to a fight." I said.

"Girls stay here until we give the word." I said as I follow the cowboys to the farm. "Snuff and stash those lanterns, boys. Best you three lie low on this. Okay… let's head down there. Let me handle this, we don't want to spook these fine people." Dutch said as we close in on the farm. Once we got near we could here music and people laughing. "Sound like someone having a party." Micah said. "You two, get yourself out of sight… One lonely man is a lot less intimidating than three nasty looking degenerates, a boy and his odd rabbit. Micah, hide behind that wagon… Arthur and the kid, you take that old shed on the left. And stay low, both of you." Dutch said as me and Arthur move to hide in the shed. Dutch went to the door to call out as a man came out. As they talk Micah whisper over to us. "Arthur, kid, we got a problem. There's a corpse right here. There a body in the wagon." He said as he move a tarp to reveal a dead man. "Shit." I curse quietly. "Keep an eye on Dutch." Arthur said as he took out his gun and aim it at the man Dutch was talking to.

Arthur fire killing him with a shot in the head. Soon a gun fight starts as more came out to shoot at us. We move to take cover. The three cowboy move to fire at the men, as I jump ot and draw my swords. I ran at one as he saw me. ""vorpal strike!" I shout as I quickly cut him down. I jump to avoid a bullet and I then dive at another to take him out. "Jamming thunder!" Vielecmon shout as he shot purple lighting at a few to electrocute them. "There one in the window!" Dutch shout as a man was trying to snipe at us from the second floor. But he was suddenly shot down, I turn to see Sinon on the hill as she salute at me. I gave her a nod in return as I then threw one of my sword to impaled one through a wall. As much as I hate killing people, it doesn't bother me as much since I became a huntman. "Holy shit boy, fancy moves you got, and your beast isn't too back ether." Micah said. "Thanks, look like one running." I said as we saw one of them trying to run. Until Arthur shot him in the back and he hit the ground.

"That's my boy, Arthur. Good shooting. Goddamn O'Driscoll's boys here? Why?" Dutch said as he kick a body. "Who are the O'driscolls?" I ask. "A rival gang we got bad blood with." Arthur said. They must have kill the man in the wagon. "Micah, go bring the horses and the girls closer to the house. Arthur and Kirito, let's go search the cabin." Dutch said as we enter the cabin. Man this place is trash. These O'driscolls sure leave a mess. "Turn the place upside down, grab as many supplies as you can. We need the essentials. Food, medicine… Whiskey." Dutch said as we start to loot the house. Pax was right about me questioning these guys. I grab what ever food I can find, it was mostly can goods. "Big old pool of blood on the floor here. Probably the poor bastard who lived here. Micah found a dead body in the wagon outside." Arthur said sadly. "O'Driscolls! I don't believe it." Dutch curse. "It's a strange one alright. Maybe they're hiding up here too. There's a big price on Colm O'Driscoll's head… …nearly as big as the one on yours." Arthur said.

"So you guys are wanted, that suck, since I'm sort of a law man myself. But you don't seen like bad guys." I said. "We may be bad men Kirito but were just trying to survive in a world that don't want us. Your pretty good with those things, I notice the women your with are arm too. How we talk when were all warm." Dutch said. "I'll discuss it with them." I said. "Now wanting Colm dead is about the only thing me and uncle Sam agree on." Dutch said. " "Looks like the poor bastard was married too, at some point." Arthur said as we look at an old wedding photo. "Question is, is she still here or." I said as I bit my lip. "If we can't eat it or drink it, put it down." Dutch said as we kept looking around. "Place is dry, and warm, we could maybe move the women and Jack down here." Arthur said. "Maybe. We'll see how they are when we get back. I don't really want us to split up. I'm going to start packing the horses. You keep looking." Dutch said as he turn to leave. "I need to check on family." I said as we went out side. I saw the others standing out side.

"You ok Kirito?" Asuna ask me as she cover Yui eyes to keep her from seeing the bodies. "Yeah just ran into a little trouble here." I said. "We can see that, your lucky we heard the shoot so I could cover your back." Sinon said. I rub the back of my head. "Thanks for that Sinon, any way these guys are call the O'driscolls, their are a rival gang who have it out for Dutch gang." I said. "Kirito I don't think staying with these guys is a good idea." Yuuki said. "I know, but Pax said we need these to find Death gun, so for now we'll be careful around them and tell them as little as possible, only the basic." I said. "Like how were from nother world and were hunting a killer?" Asuna ask. I nod. Arthur came out of the cabin. "Micah, Arthur, keep looking for stuff. Arthur, go see if there's anything in that barn. Micah, you search the cabin, see what we missed. Kirito how bout you and the lasses help me ready the horses, we have a few for you." Dutch said as we nod and help him out. Arthur and Micah let to do their jobs as we heard shouting coming from the barn.

We rush over to see Arthur beating up one of the O'driscolls. "What's going on?" Dutch ask. "This guy jump me." Arthur said as we look at the O'driscoll. "Oh, did he now?" Dutch ask as he lead over the bandit. "Sneaky little bastard… should I kill him?" Arhtur ask. "What!" Asuna shout. "Take Yui back to the house while we handle this." I said. She nod as they walk out. "No… Not yet… Find out what they're doing here, and where Colm is." Dutch said. "Oh, this son of a bitch'll talk… Where's Colm O'Driscoll?" Arthur shout as he ready to hit the bandit. "With the others… at an old mining camp southwest of here, near the lake." The O'driscoll said scare. "Doing what?" Yuuki ask in his face. "We're fixing to rob some train, gonna blow the tracks. I don't know more than that, I swear!" He shout. Dutch let out a laugh. "Well, I would say it looks like you have this, Arthur. Do what you want with him, I don't care. But bring that horse when you're done." He said as he walk out. "Arthur are you really going to kill him? There been enough death tonight." Sinon said. Arhtur sigh and let the bandit go. "Get out of here now!" He shout as the O'driscoll got up and ran for it.

Arthur then grab the horse as we head back to the cabin. "That looks like a decent horse, you should keep him. Get that horse hitched, don't want him bolting." Dutch said as Arthur hitch the horse. We soon heard screaming coming from the cabin. We head in as We saw Micah attacking some woman in a nightgown. That must be the wife of the murder man. "Micah, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Dutch ask as Micah was chasing her around the table as she held a knife. "Get away from me!" She shout. "Look what I found in the cellar. Wild thing aren't you?" Micah said with a sick grin. Asuna and Yuuki point their swords at him to make him back off. "Leave her alone only warning." She said glaring at him. "I wasn't doing nothing. She's one of them O'Driscolls." Micah said as he held his hands up. "Clearly she isn't." I said as the woman brand her knife and try to run around but Micah grab her. She struggle as she knock over a lantern starting a fire.

She get free as Dutch try to calm her down. "Miss, now it is gonna be okay. We mean you no harm. Miss! Miss… Come on, it'll be okay. We need to get out of here, and quick. Come on now." He said as he was able to get the knife from her. "We need to leave." I said as the fire spreads as we ran out. Dutch put a blanket on her and with one for Yui. "You ok miss?" Dutch ask. She cry, "The came three days ago… and my husband, they…" She sob. "Don't worry they got what was coming to them." Sinon said as she pat the woman shoulder to comfort her. "Okay, miss. You are safe now… and you can't stay here. You come with us. Arthur." Dutch said. "Miss, it's okay, alright? We're bad men, but… We aren't them, so… it's okay." Arthur said as he help her onto Dutch's horse. Me, Asuna Yui got on one as Sinon and Yuuki on another and we recall our partners to the D-arcs. We soon start to ride off. " We'll keep you safe until you figure out… what you wanna do." Arthur said as we continue to ride through the snow.

"What's your name, Miss? Miss?" Dutch ask. "Sadie Adler. Mrs… I… he… …he was my husband." She said heartbroken. "We know were sorry for your lost." Asuna said. We soon rode to an old mining camp. "Hey, somebody's coming!" A dark skin man said holding a rifle. "Looks like it's Dutch. Hey everybody, Dutch is back." He said as we arrive. An old man walk to us. "How'd you get on?" he ask Dutch. "We Hosea, Micah found a homestead, but… he weren't the first. Colm O'Driscoll and his scum, they beat us to it. We found some of them there… but there is more about apparently… scouting a train. What more we found a bunch of interesting kids and their pets." He said as they look at us. "That's the last thing we need right now, Dutch." Hosea said. "Well, it is what it is… but we found some supplies, some blankets… a little bit of food… and this poor soul, Mrs. Adler. Miss Tilly, Miss Karen, would you warm her up… give her a drink of something. And Mrs. Adler, it's gonna be okay… you're safe now." Dutch said as a pair of women went to help Sadie.

Dutch look to an black hair woman. "They turned her into a widow… animals. I need some rest. I haven't slept in three days." He said tired. "You're over here… Miss O'Shea will show you the way. Mr. Morgan, we put you in a room over here." An older woman said directing them to there rooms. She look at us. "You kids can use the cabin over there, get that little one warm." She said. "Thank you." Asuna said as we enter the cabin. "So were really joining a band of out laws perfect." Sinon said annoy. "Oh come on Sinon it could be fun." Yuuki said. "If we want to find death gun we have to stick with them for now, let get some sleep and talk about this in the morning." I said as we all went to bed. Honesty today been nothing but a pain for us.
