(Just a little fun with an idea I had, I haven't done Fanfiction in a long while - but Baldurs Gate really had me inspired.) A story of Astarion meeting Wren (Tav) before they were abducted and infected with parasites. Wren becomes one of Astarion's targets for his master, what kind of bond will they have before their journey begins to save Baldurs Gate?

Chasing perfection is not only impractical but mostly unattainable. Instead of boosting our achievements, it shrinks them. Why? Because when we aim too high, "failure" becomes the norm, chipping away at our self-confidence bit by bit. But then again, maybe perfection is overrated. (Astarion/Tav)
