Recap

Last time on Tamer and Witcher: The gang met with Ciri as she and Rika wanted to repay some people who help them when they were in Novigrad. They first visit the woman Bea who help the girls meet Dandelion. She was being bother by some thugs because she was serving non humans. The gang were able to send them packing as the girl repay Bea. From there they head to four corners to meet with a group of performers that help the girls to get to the city to meet Bea. They send the day with Rika ask Takato if he have found her mother in the after life as he didn't know. The troupe have their own trouble as they needed horses to be able to leave. The gang offer to help them steal the horses. It was easy to pull off as the troupe was set to leave. Ciri said her good byes to them as the gang head back to Dandelion's to finish getting ready for the battle to come.

Chapter 49

Through time and space

Takato Pov: It been a few days since we help Rika and Ciri to repay the people who help them in Novigrad. It was nice helping them out. Been a while since we did some real good. While we were taking it easy, Geralt went to met with Yen to save the sorceress Margarita from prison by them selves. "So let me get this right, the reason Yennefer was at that whore house was to look for a guy who busted out of the prison that was holding Maragarita?" Rika ask. 'He got out by pretending he was dead and was through into the sewers? Which you use to break into the prison to bust her out and took out the remaining witch hunters?" i ask. 'That right, with Rita on our side we now have what we ned to fight the wild hunt." Geralt said. 'Doubt that, they have Tundadevimon and those Arrancars helping them out." Kenji said. 'We can worry about that later, didn't Avallac'h say he wanted to see us?" I ask. 'Yeah Dandelion said that Avallac'h need us for a important matter." Geralt said. 'I don't know Geralt, I never did trust that man since I met him." Rika said.

"He been helping us this far, what ever he want couldn't hurt." I said. Rika sigh. 'Alright Gogglehead, Hikari why don't you go hang with Ciri while we handle this." Rika said. "Ok mama come one Morphomon." Hikari said as she ran off with her partner. 'Let go see what the elf want." Kenji said as we head upstairs. We enter the ruby room to find Avallac'h looking at a naked pictures. "Need a hanky? Gotta admit, never expected this of you..." Geralt said with a smirk as the elf roll his eyes. "You humans have...hm, unusual tastes. How did you fare on Bald Mountain?" Avallac'h ask. "Need to ask? You're a Sage." Geralt said. "I ask as a courtesy. A concept you clearly forgot when you left without uttering a word." Avallac'h said concern. "Ciri was in a hurry and beside, these guys are trying to killed us and needed to be taken down." Rika said. "I know, so she wrote in her letter. But that is not my concern. You eliminated Imlerith adeptly. So adeptly you might say you inspired me..." Avallac'h said. "I take you have something in mind that could turn the fight in our favor?" I ask.

"The loss of one of his great generals has weakened Eredin. Significantly. Two others remain." Avallac'h said. "How do we get rid of them?" Geralt ask. "Caranthir is a loyalist, but Ge'els - that is another story. He was a devoted follower of our former king... And as it happens, Eredin poisoned our beloved ruler." Avallac'h said. "You think we can get this Ge'els guy to side with us?" Kenji ask. "Perhaps I have a plan." Avallac'h said. "What do you have in mind Avallac'h?" Elize ask. "Why, to bring Ge'els here, show him the truth of what happened." Avallac'h said. 'You want to bring here? I see that could word pout him on our turf." Rika said. "Where do we find him." I ask. "In the land of the Aen Elle." Avallac'h said. "Think you're forgetting something - you and Ciri might know how to travel between worlds." Geralt said. "He right, we only came to this world due to Pax to stop Tundradevimon and the arrancars." I said. "You clearly know there are many other worlds apart from the one where we now stand. They're linked by passages, hidden gateways that afford travel from one world to another. Of course, few know of these gateways, even fewer can locate them." Avallac'h said.

"What is Aen elle?" Elize said. "Geralt haven't told you, he use to ride with Eredin." Avallac'h said. We look to Gerlat in shock. 'You were one of them!" Rika shout. 'That was a long time ago." Geralt said. "The land of the Alder Folk. The world where we arrived centuries ago, a world that is now our home. The Red Riders come from there. And it is there where we will find Ge'els." Avallac'h said as he look to a map of Novigrad. "For example. One such passage will open soon, near where we are, fortuitously enough. Between this noble edifice and the Butchers' Yard. That's our chance. Shall we go?" He ask. 'Yeah the sooner the better." I said as we follow the mage out of the house. We follow him across town as we came to a familiar place. 'Hold up haven't we been here before?" Kenji ask. 'You guys have?" Rika ask. "Yeah we met a mage here, Corrine who ran into trouble with this goding girl Sarah, I wonder how they are doing?" I ask. 'Heard from Triss that Corrine and Sarah are living together here." Geralt said. "We can worry of that later the portal is in the basement." Avallac'h said as we went inside and enter the basement.

From there Geralt use Aard on a weaken wall to blow it down to reveal an archway. "This is the place. Once we enter, there'll be no returning until we reach Ge'els. Ready?" Avallac'h said as a portal forms in the arch. "Yes, let's go." Geralt said. 'Well here we go again." I said. "Remember, wherever you land, search for a place that looks like this one. We shall meet, sooner or later." Avallac'h said. "Mean we'll be separated?" Geralt ask. "It's possible. I lack your ward's talents. Zireael is the Lady of Time and Space, I merely know how to use this arcane knowledge to a limited degree. It's time." Avallac'h said as we head into the portal. One the over sides we were in a desert with large deep canyons surrounding us. "Woah." Elize said in awe as we look around. "Dude this is nuts." Kenji said. "Where are we?" Geralt ask. "Welcome to the Ddiddiwedht Desert." Avallac'h said as we got moving. 'To think we can travel worlds like this, I wonder if their a portal that could take us back to Remnant." I said.

"Perhaps, it only a matter of finding the right portal Takato." Avallac'h said. "So what is this place?" Hackmon ask. "A very old world, thoroughly raped and destroyed." Avalalc'h said. 'Anyone still living here?" I ask. "Mainly desert creatures able to survive months on end without water. Oh, and large sand crabs, beneath the surface. We must be careful they don't sense us." Avallac'h said. 'Oh joy just what we need." Rika said with a roll of her eyes. "And before? Were there any...people? Or elves?" Geralt ask. "Do you believe humanoids have a monopoly on destroying worlds?" Avallac'h ask. "So what did live here?" I ask. "Look at those cliffs. Remind you of anything?" Avallac'h said as he gesture to cliffs to our right. "Hmm... Looks a bit like the bed of a giant river." Geralt said. "Or the bottom of the sea." Avallac'h said. "So this world was once cover by water then." Renamon said. "That there are many different worlds, and even more forms of life. Many of them intelligent, much more so, in fact, than you humans. But as it turns out, not even that could stop them from exhausting all resources of their world. To the last drop." Avallac'h said as we came to an archway.

"Ah, the portal." Avallac'h said. 'Look like we found it." I said. 'It look like ruins to me." Geralt said. "Appearances can be deceiving." Avallac'h said. "What are we waiting for let go." Rika said. "For it to open. Shouldn't take but a few moments." Avalalc'h said as we felt the ground shake. "What's going on?" Geralt ask. "The sand crabs have sensed our presence." Avalalch said as several large crabs like creatures burst out of the ground. "Let crack these shell heads. Crushing fang!" I shout as I jump and slam my blade onto one to take it down. " Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he shot the energy ball to blast one hack. "Fox hunt!" Rika shout as she stabs her swords downward into one and then jump back to fill it with dust bullets. She then take out a key. "Open gate of the maiden Virgo!" She shout as the maid pop out of the ground. You call princess?" She ask. "A little help." Rika said as she gesture at the crabs. "Of course." Virgo said as she jump at a crab to kick it back from us.

"Diamond storm!" Renamon shout as she rain her attack onto them making them cry out as they were tore a part. Kenji use his blade to hold back a crab claws as it let off a flash blinding it. Kenji use this to stab his sword into the crab head to killed it. "Teem ram!" Hackmon shout as he tackle into another. "Sky dragon roar!" Elize shout as she shot a twister from her mouth to blow several of them away. "Tear shoot!" Lunamon shout as she shot a water ball at one. Geralt use igni to burn a few of them as he then slash his sword against them. Avallac'h shot fire as well as the portal came to life behind us. "Quickly! Jump in!" He shout as we jump into the portal. On the other side we were on a mountain that over look some strange looking red plants. What more they were giving off some kind of fog. "We made it." Kenji said. "But where Avallac'h?" Elize said as there was no sign of the elf. "I don't fucking believe he ditch us!" Rika shout anger by this. 'He said there was a chance we could end up separated. We should focus on looking for the portal." I said. 'Over there." Geralt said as he pointed to the portal as it was across the valley. I look to the plants and the fog they were giving off.

"Cover your faces, I don't think that gads will be good for our health." I said as we cover our faces and hurry through the plants. Yep definitely toxic, as we hurry to get through them. It didn't take us look to get to the portal. 'Shit that was rough." Kenji said as we took deep breaths. 'Let just find elf boy and get out of here." Rika said as we head into the portal. Once through as found our selves under water as we gasp for air. I grab Elize to keep her close since she not the best swimmer. Geralt gesture to the next portal as we swim to ward it as we hurry to cross through it. We now found ourselves in an ice cave as we cough up water. 'Daman it I hate water." I said as I got up. 'So cold." Elize said as she shake. I put my coat on her to help her warm up. "Now where are we?" Rika ask. 'No idea let find out." Geralt said as he use Aard to blast down an ice wall. On the other side was a village bury in snow up to the roof as the icy winds pushes against us. Celsius soon appear. 'My this place is quite pleasant." She joke.

"Funny, can you do anything about the cold." Rika said. 'Of course, I can force the cold winds to move around us for a short time." Celsius said. " We should hurry then, let head for the light house it look like someone lite the fire on tp." Geralt said as he pointed to the light house on the far side of the village. "Great it going to be a hike." I said as we got moving toward the light house. We move through the buildings in hope of reaching it faster due to all the snow. We were finally able to reach it as we got in side. There we found Avallac'h sitting by a fire as we join him. "Oh yeah that better." Kenji said as we started to warm up. "Took you a while. Did you run into trouble?" Avallac'h ask "Erm, no. Just taking in the sights. What is this place? Feels like I've been here before." Geralt ask as he look around. "You have. You fought Eredin's projection here. Before that, Ciri fought here. For you." Avallac'h said. 'Was Geralt in some sort of trouble?" Elize ask. "He was, Geralt ever wonder how you left the red riders?" Avallac'h ask.

"Many times, but I don't remember a thing." Geralt said. "Ciri came for you. She sensed you were in danger, tore you from the Hunt's grasp, then deposited you in the woods near Kaer Morhen." Avallac'h said. "Did Eredin start hunting her because of that? Because of me? Why didn't she say anything?" Geralt ask concern. "Ugh. What would it have changed?" Avallac'h said. 'So where are w, have we reach this Aen elle place yet or what?" Rika ask. "No. This is Tedd Deireadh, the Time of the End. The world destroyed by the White Frost. Alas, this awaits us all, though at differing stages of our existence." Avallac'h said. "So this is what Ida was talking about." I said in worry. What is this comes to our world. "So calm when you say that..." Geralt said. "Eredin succumbed to his knowledge of the apocalypse. Fear rules him now. I'll not commit the same error." Avallac'h said. "Care to clarify?" Geralt ask. 'Not here not now." Avallac'h said. "Going after Ge'els is proving quite a trek, but I still don't know why he's so important." Geralt said.

"He right we are going to a lot of trouble by crossing worlds trying to find this guy." I said. "Eredin differs from the king he killed. Power for its own sake interests him. He has little patience for bureaucracy. He spends most of his time atop his steed, leading the Red Riders. So what does he need in the capital? A good viceroy. Ge'els is an excellent administrator and an even better plotter. He's the most dangerous individual amongst the Aen Elle." Avallac'h said. 'He got any weaknesses?" Geralt ask. "Yes. He's righteous We should go the next portal will open now." Avallac'h said as the next portal open as we head through it. "At last." Avallac'h said as we came to a large castle that over look a town. "Is this Tir ná Lia?" Geralt ask. 'The Palace of Awakening, formerly the Moon Palace. Ge'els' headquarters." Avallac'h said as we walk around. "It so beautiful here." Elize said as she look around amaze. "I'm glad to know you appreciate it. Elven architecture is a bit more sophisticated than yours." Avallac'h said.

We soon came to a area where we found an elven man making a picture of a nude woman. 'Oh? Who's this? And why are they here?" The woman said as they saw us. The man Ge'els most likely frown. "I believe we're done for the day, my tulip. Be a dear and leave us alone. For I think we can agree this matter is between us and us alone, correct?" He said as the woman got up to leave. Ge'els then look at us. "Crevan Espane aep Caomhan Macha and the witcher of Rivia. What more the infamous Tamers. Ceádmil. Do you like my new model? Something of Lara Dorren about her, wouldn't you agree, Crevan?" He ask. "Her height, perhaps. Nothing more." Avallac'h said. 'Ah, I see I've touched on a tender spot... So let's change the subject, shall we? Care for a drink?" Ge'els offer. "No prefer to get to the point of us coming here." I said. "Hm... I must admit, you appearing here - quite the surprise, Witcher. Incidentally, interesting choice of allies. Do you think Avallac'h is honest with you? Just curious..." Ge'els said.

"No but it really doesn't matter to us." Rika said. "I detect a shadow of impatience in your faces, it seems. So, what brings you here?" Ge'els said. 'I've come to tell you who killed our king." Avallac'h said getting Ge'els attention. "You've gone through a great deal of trouble to reach me... So I must believe you've put equal effort into preparing this lie." Ge'els said. 'You shall see the truth. You will dream it." Avallac'h said. 'You've an oneiromancer? Hmph. My intuition was correct - this will be interesting." Ge'els said. "Tired of your pseudo-sophisticated courtesy. Let's go." Geralt said. "Where to, if I might ask?" Ge'els ask. "To the world of the Aen Seidhe. Directly, this time." Avallac'h said. "Let go before the guards how up." I said as we head for the nearest portal. We return to the world of Aen seidhe and head to Dandelions' There we were in a room as we were getting things ready for Ge'els to dream. Corrine and Ciri was here as Hikari ran to Rika side. "I take it I needn't introduce our guest." Avallac'h said.

"Greetings, Zireael. So it's true - the Swallow has befriended the Fox." Ge'els said. "There's naught you can do to make us turn on one another." Ciri said clearly not happy to see him. "Avallac'h blackmailed you - do you not remember? Tried to force you to warm our king's bed? Treated your body like a side of pork." Ge'els said. 'I remember. But I also remember what you advised Eredin do with me once I was caught. And I remember what the Red Riders did at Kaer Morhen." Ciri said as she was starting to get anger. "Ok let all calm down guys." I said trying to break them up. Ge'els took a breath. "I didn't come here to argue. The proof you promised, where is it?" He ask. "You will see it. In your dream." Avallac'h said. 'Ah yes, the oneiromancer. Visions that cannot be fabricated. Do you wish to show me how Eredin murdered our king? What then? Am I to incite the Aen Elle against Eredin? Call for revolution and proclaim Avallac'h our new king?" Ge'els ask. "Don't flatter yourself. Defy Eredin, that's all you need to do." Geralt said.

"Very well. Have your oracle summon dreams of my king's last moments." Ge'els said. "We shall all dream them. To make certain there are no misunderstandings." Avallac'h said as the two lay down to start. We watch as Corrine start the spell as we wait. 'Let hope this work." Rika said. 'Me too." I said. A little while later the two elves came too as Ge'els got up looking upset. "You must face him on your terms, in this world, in a place of your choosing. It's your only chance. Sail to Skellige and find the Sunstone. With it, you will summon the Naglfar. Eredin will come, too. Should he call for reinforcements, no Aen Elle will answer." He said. 'You have done the thing most just. A new portal to Tir ná Lia will open. I shall stabilize it, and you will return. Come with me." Avallac'h said as they left the room. With this done with, me, Rika, Geralt and Ciri were on a balcony looking at the city. " Well look like things work out for us." I said as I lean on the railing. Geralt huff.

"Just as well, could've been bluffing. Might've just said let him go. Dammit. We should've pressed him." Geralt said. "Tell me about it we could have got more out of him." Rika said. "Calm down. Avallac'h knows him better. We'll hear him out when he returns." Ciri said as Avallac'h came out to us. 'Speak of the devil." Geralt said. "Geralt's worried. He believes we let Ge'els go too easily." Ciri said. We all are." I said. "Can never be too careful." Geralt said. "Agreed. Yet I do believe Ge'els will keep his word, withhold support from Eredin." Avallac'h said. "Seems to me you have a plan. Care to share it with us?" Ciri ask. "Once we find the Sunstone, aided by your sorceresses and their magic, we shall draw Eredin's ship to a bay along the coast of Undvik. We will wait in ambush. Lay a trap. When the King of the Hunt arrives, we will spring it and kill him and the monsters aiding him." Avallac'h said. "Just like that? sound too easy to me." Rika said. "Defeating Eredin will be no small feat, but we will accomplish it. Once we ready we will sail to Skellige." Avallc'h said as we walk away.

"So it finally time huh." I said. 'Yeah, the last battle here and then we can go home." Rika said. 'But something's tell me this is only the beginning." I said. "Appears so, let get ready for tomorrow." Geralt said as we go to turn in for the night. Let hope things go as plan for us this time.
