Recap
Last time on Tamer and Witcher: The gang set out to Skellige to begin making the final arrangements to defeat the wild hunt. They discover the Niffgaard fleet have invaded Skellige in hopes of taking it. What more they learn that Fringilla vigo is a prisoner of the emperor. They also learn of the sun stone that can be use to help against the hunt as it hidden some where on the isles. The gang head to Emhyr ship to free Fringilla and size up the emperor. Once the mage was free they return to port to get ready to see Erimon and find the sun stone.

Chapter 51
the sun stone
Takato Pov: After returning to Skellige and find Fringilla vigo we got ready to start the next task we need to take down the wild hunt. Avallac'h said we need to find an object call the sun stone to call forth the wild hunt ship to finish this. The best way to do this was to look for Ermion the head druid and see what he know about the sun stone and where to find it. But we need to find him first. We decided to drop in our old friend Crach An craite and see if he know where we can find the druid. We found Crach at the lower port as he was looking at the Niffgaard fleet through a spy glass. We saw us walking to him. "Wolf, do you see? The black dogs in their rickety tubs! They bay at our gates, seek to strike fear in our hearts!" Crach said. 'We know sadly we need them for what to come, we need your help." I ask. "Of course what can I do for you?" Crach ask. "We need to find Ermion for a important matter where is he?" Geralt ask. Crach cross his arms over his chest. "Went to see Lugos. An an Craite on the throne remains a thorn in his arse, heheh. Now he's seen the Black Ones, it pricks him even harder. The druid's gone to reason with the dimwitted knob." He said.
"Lugos?" Rika ask. 'He one of the Jarls here, we met him a while back." I said. "We think we better help Ermion with this, from what I saw Lugos didn't take what happen to his son well." Geralt said. "Go. And when you see that bloody twit Lugos, be sure to tell him- Argh, best not. The druid knows what to say. Farewell." Crach said as we walk away. 'So where can we find Lugos?" Kenji ask. "At Kaer Muire, it a bit far but we should be able to get there in time." Geralt said.; 'Let hope so we need Ermion help finding that stone." I said as we soon got moving. About 2 hours later we came to clan Lugos terriorty of Kaer Muire as we head up the mountain to a fort. It was there we saw Ermion was arguing with Lugos. "And what else would Crach have? He not content to have the mightiest fleet, take control of my isle, and seat his spawn on the throne?" Lugos ask not sounding happy. "Under present circumstances-" Ermion said as he was cut off. "Under present circumstances Crach can go ahead and reap the shite he sowed. Almighty Crach - well, surely he can take on the Black Ones and meself. I'll not kneel before an an Craite! Never! That clear to you?!" Lugos shout.
"You prefer to aid the Black Ones?" Ermion ask. "I'd sooner aid the wraiths of bleedin' Mörhogg than let Crach rule all Skellige!" Lugos shout. "And your men, what do they say? Will they follow you when the jarls call you a traitor?" Ermion ask. "This here's my land, druid! Watch your words!" Lugos shout. "What would you call it, if not treason?" Geralt ask as they notice us. "That your bark before you bite? Did Crach send you here for my head? Well then, go ahead, try to take it! Get 'em!" Lugos shout as his men came at us. "Cross slash!" I shout as I slash down two of them as I rush past them. "Brock breaker!" Guilmon slam his claw to knock one back. "Whilwind gate!" Rika shout as she shot the wind blast to pushed them away. "Diamond storm!" Renamon shout as she rain her diamonds down upon them to take them out. "Power of the stout arms that tears heaven Arms!" Elize shout as she started to glow for a moment. She soon grab the ax of a man who swung it at her. She soon swing him around like a rag doll and threw him away.
"Luna claw!" Lunamon shout as she smack one with her claw. Kenji shot ice dust to freeze many of them in place and then swing his sword to knock one back. "Fif slash!" Hackmon shout as he cut one down with his claws. Ermion slam his staff down as roots shot up to stab into the men around him. Geralt was fighting Lugos himself as Geralt as able to slice off Lugos sword hand to disarm him as Geralt then thrust his sword into Lugos neck to killed him. "Come, we should not stay here." Ermion said. 'Good idea." I said as we hurry to get away from Kaer Muire before more trouble come for us. Once we were clear we look to the druid. "Well, Geralt, I can see no row can occur in Skellige without your participation." Ermion said. "Look like we miss a lot since we were last here." I said. "The blood of Crach's blood sits upon the throne, and that is your doing. I'm afraid you've ignited a small civil war." Ermion said. 'Sorry we were only trying to help." Elize said sadly.
"It quite all right young one, so Clan Drummond will attack sooner than we expected, it seems." Ermion said. "Isn't that why your up here to stop them?" Kenji ask. Ermion laugh. "Hah! An agreement! Only Crach believes such a thing possible at this stage." He said. "Mean we didn't actually ruin things for you?" Geralt ask. The druid shook his head. "Not this time. Lugos' death stands to change a great deal. His cousin, who will now be named jarl, is a weak commander, stupid. This war will start soon, and end even sooner. But why have you returned to Skellige?" Ermion ask. "Were looking for something call the sun stone we think it somewhere in Skellige but have no idea where to look." Rika said. "The Mask of Uroboros first, now the Sunstone. Monsters may rest easy - you've become a treasure hunter. I've never found the Aen Seidhe elves interesting. But there's a skald, Eyvind - he could help you. Once told me of some inaccessible caverns or ruins or somesuch..." Ermion ask. "Any idea where we can find him?" Kenji ask.
"Today? In Arinbjorn, doubtless." Ermion said. "Thanks for your help." Geralt said. "One thing, Geralt. These caves or ruins - Matthias' and Erling's ancestors would've looted them bare centuries ago were they not protected by some magic barrier. Take a sorceress with you. You must've brought at least one along." Ermion said. "Whole gaggle, this time." Geralt said witha smirk as the druid sigh. "Ugh! Gods protect us." He said as we took our leave. With the info Ermion gave us we head toward Arinbjorn to find Eyvind on a cliff looking out to the water. "Excuse me are you Eyvind?" I ask as the man shush us. "Not now." He said not looking at us. "Watching for Nilfgaard's fleet?" Geralt ask. "Fleet? Oh, aye, they mentioned something... Nay, I've more important matters on my mind. By my calculations, today's the day Gevorg, the legendary white whale, will swim the waters of Skellige. Been waitin' for this my whole life." Eyvind said. 'We'll watch for the whale with you and you can tell us about some elven ruins in the isles." I said as we join Eyvind on the cliff.
"Heard of some cavern no one's been able to enter?" Geralt ask. "Good thing, too. Elsewise they'd 'ave plundered it long ago, like all the others." Eyvind said. We soon saw a white whale come out of the water while Eyvind was distracted. 'Eyvind!" Geralt said trying to get the man to look but he miss it as the whale dive under the water. "What?" Eyvind ask. "I...ugh, just wanted to assure you I only want to look around the cavern. It's research." Geralt said. 'For an adventure story were working on." I said. "Mean to write up the comin' of the White Fleet? Prime idea. Mayhaps you could use my translation of the Song of Gealbhan and Dillian?" Eyvind ask. "Of course do you know where it is?" Elize ask politely. "Gotta sail east from Kaer Trolde. Cavern's in a cove, only accessible from the sea." Eyvind said. "So long. And...good luck with the white whale." Geralt said as we walk away. 'Well we found the cave, we should get one of the sorceresses to help us like Ermion said." Rika said. "Right let get to the port." I said as we got moving.
We head back to the port to find Yennefer talking with Philippa. "I'd rather verify it now. Otherwise, I'll continue to wonder if he's not about to stab me in the back." Yennefer said. "You've something of a persecution complex." Philippa said. 'You needn't come with us." Yennefer said. "I hadn't intended." Philippa said. 'Going somewhere?" Geralt said as we walk to them. "Ciri says there's a site in Skellige we must examine. Avallac'h clearly hiding something from us." Yennefer said. 'No shit, I never trusted the guy when I first met him." Rika said. 'Earlier, when we were in the Isles together, Avallac'h mentioned a laboratory. At one point, he wished to teleport there...to retrieve something. And he refused to take me with him. It was all very strange..." Ciri said from near by with Hikari. "Sufficiently suspicious, don't you think?" Yennefer ask with a smirk. I grab my chin. "Yeah, I always knew there was something off about him. I say it worth checking out." I said.
"So what? Wanna just sneak in and root around?" Geralt ask. 'Yep you coming with?" Ciri ask. "Fine where is it?" Geralt ask. 'On a small isle between Undvik and Spikeroog." Ciri said. "Not exactly on our way. Just found out the Sunstone's on Ard Skellig. Cavern along the coast, that we can only access from the sea. Gonna need some real magic to get in, too. Dougt the girls magic would work." Geralt said. "Go find this laboratory. I will explore Ard Skellig. You can join me later." Philippa said. 'Philippa, your eyesight - only just recovered and magically simulated. Didn't you say you'd need some time to get accustomed?" Yennefer said. 'Did I?" Philippa said as she open a portal to go through it. "I'd forgotten how irritating she can be. Come, Ciri. We'll await you there" Yennefer said. 'Take the girls with you I don't want them anywhere near Philippa." Rika said as the others went through a portal. "We should get moving to check out that cave." Kenji said. "Right let go." I said. We got a boat and sail around the coast of the island we we came to the cavern entrance and found Philippa waiting for us.
"I say, look at this!" Philippa said as she wave her hand to undo a magic wall at the entrance. "Let go." Geralt said as we head in side. "What now? Gonna grow yourself some new eyes, like Vilgefortz did? I remember the moment I killed him - cultivation wasn't complete, they hadn't grown in fully yet. Looked...disgusting, but..." Geralt said as he gesture to the glow coming from under Philippa blind fold. "I take it your mention of that deviant is purely coincidental?" Philippa said. "Course. Also heard of this rich, blind dwarf from Mahakam...had them put two sizable rubies in his eye sockets. Couldn't see a damned thing, but word is it looked pretty tasteful." Geralt said. Philippa turn her attention to Rika. "Rika was it? I curious, the aure your giving off is strange, just what are you?" She ask. Rika huffs and look away. "If your really that curious I'm one of the four seasonal maidens, four of the most powerful magic users on our world. So better not to piss me off." Rika said as we heard something. We came to a large chamber to find a siren and several drowners. The siren was screaming something we couldn't understand.
"What'd she just say?" Geralt ask. "Your not her type, and Takato look like a good rut." Philippa said. We could feel the air around Rika went cold as she glare at the siren. 'Oh your dead bitch!" She shout as we charge at the monsters. "Slash wing!' I shout as I cut a drowner down like it was nothing. "Pyro sphere!" Guilmon shout as he shot an energy ball to blast one back. "Star dress Cancer form!' Rika shout as she change form and jump at the siren. "Scissor slash!" She shout as she slice the monster into bits angrily. "Powr paw!" Renamon shout as she slam her fist into a drowner face. Kenji shot a light blade to cut through a few drowners. "Teem ram!' Hackmon shout as he tackle another one down. 'Sky dragon wave wind!" Elize shout as she swung her arm to send the twister to blow them back. "Tear shot!" Lunamon shout as she hit one with a water ball. Geralt was able to cut them down with out problem as Philippa hit them with lighting bolts. Once the room was clear we keep going until we came to a broken stair way.
"Hm. So how do we get up the-" Geralt ask as Philippa cut him off. "The stairs? I'll fix them right away." She said as she use magic to fix the stairs. 'Show off." kenji said as we head deeper in. "Couldn't help noticing the tension between you and Yennefer and Triss. It's very hard on Ciri, I think. There are times I doubt you three realize how it looks. Triss plays the big sister to Ciri, but eagerly awaits a chance to hop in bed with you. You and Yennefer play the parents-" Philippa said. "Yeah, so if you're angling to make it a fivesome, there's clearly no room." Geralt said as we came to a room where there was a golem waiting for us. "I got this one." Rika said a s she step forward to face the monster.

'Star dress Virgo form!" Rika said as she don the maid outfit. "Time to clean your clock." She said as she ran at it. The golem try to swing it fist at her as Rika slide under it. She grab it arm as she spun her self and slam her feet into it face. She flip to avoid another punch as she got behind it. "Maiden kck! She shout as she slam her foot into the center of it back making it body crack. It jump at her as Rika sank into the ground out of it sight in time. She soon shot out as she upper cut it in the chin making it stumble. 'Your done, Maiden crush!" She shout as she perform an ax kick to it head as her heel slam into t making it shatter to pieces. Rika turn back to normal and smirk at us. 'Too easy." She said. "Impressive." Philippa said as we walk to a mural. "So how do we get past this?" I ask. 'It appears I must do everything for you. See the sentry who seems to be waiting for payment?" Philippa said. 'Does he take cash?" Kenji said as Philippa sighs. "Ugh. In blood, not coin. The sentry if Fiallan, of the elven legend. Do you literally read nothing?" Sher said as she cut her hand and place it on the mural.
We watch as it spilt down the middle and open up to reveal a door. We soon enter the next room. "Yennefer must have tremendous pull with the emperor. To get him to guarantee the Lodge's safety? What's your take on it?" Philippa ask. "My take? Obviously a leading question. No "Geralt, I'm tired, let's sit and chat a bit" first?" Geralt ask. "Is foreplay that important to you?" Philippa said. "This deal with Emhyr - it's sorceress business. Pick someone else's brain." Geralt said. "So she's not told you anything? What about personal plans? Has she mentioned anything? A possible advisory position? Beside a young, promising empress?" Philippa said. 'Stay away from our friend bitch." Rika said as she aim at the witch. "She's an adult, You keep forgetting. She can decide for herself. So, onward? you think it's time you stopped interfering in Ciri's life?" Philippa ask. "No." Geralt said. 'But you do know we're not a pack of wolves you can just drive away from her with your sword." She said.
"Sure you are, and yes, I can. If the need arises." Geralt said as we came to a large room. There was a large gem on the ceiling. and several mirror like devices scatter around the room. "Wait, there's something here. Feel it?" Philippa said. ": No. My medallion-" Geralt said as he was cut off. ": A ridiculous bauble. Don't make me laugh. Tuning into elven magic is just slightly more difficult than sniffing out a malodorous fiend. Watch this. Arha'an lumar!" Philippa said as she hit the gem with magic making it light up and shoot out a beam of light at one of the mirrors. "What does this mean?" Elize ask. 'That means the Sunstone is here. Don't stand there looking stupid. Try to shift the mirrors." Philippa said. We move around the room to adjust the mirrors to get the light to point at one spot in the room. Once it was set up there was an orange glow as a small orange stone appear floating in the air. "Found it! At laaast..." Philippa said. 'Hand it over." I said as she step back.
"Not so fast. We've a matter to discuss." She said. ": Lemme guess - you gotta fly. You're about to tell me why you need the Sunstone so much more than we do. Then you'll change into an owl and - whoosh!" Geralt said. "Try it an I will shoot you down and pluck you." Rika said. 'No idea where you got such a ridiculous notion. Ciri's safety is most important to me now. But I wish to talk to you about the future. My future." Philippa said. 'What you mean the emperor got plans for you." Elize said. 'Once we've defeated the Hunt and Ciri is safe, Yennefer's meteoric rise at the imperial court will come to an abrupt end. Which is wonderful from my perspective. I'm not interested in reviving the Lodge if I'm not to have the deciding vote." Philippa said. "You're telling us this because...?" Geralt ask. "If I know even one bit, I expect that once we've defeated the Wild Hunt, you aim to slip out the back door, with Ciri...to disappear into the wilds, correct? All very romantic, but perhaps instead of destroying the girl's life, you could take Yennefer with you. And go." She said.
"You want to take yen place at the emperor side." I said. realizing what she wanted. "And at Ciri's. I think you understand it's inevitable. And I would truly prefer Yennefer to be far away when it happens. Holding her in the imperial dungeon would be costly. And it would give the wrong impression." She said a she gave Geralt the stone. She then turn into an owl and fly away. "I'm really starting to hate her." Kenji said. 'Your telling me, we can't let her be near Ciri." Rika said. 'She won't I won't let it. We got the stone, let head right to where Yen and Ciri is." Geralt said. 'Agreed, I want to know what Avallac'h is hiding." Is id as we head out of the cave to learn just what Avallac'h is after.
