Chapter 1: Test Run: Part 1
The next day-
Vivi managed to get some sleep that night. She woke up, bright and early to do her morning routine. Looking over at her arm with the wristband, its buttons, and face were now green again. She recalled everything that had happened to her last night.
"I guess I have to be careful not to let anyone find out about this," Vivi noted, not wanting to cause any panic.
Later, Vivi left her room wearing a dress with long sleeves covering her wrists.
She went on to do all her other morning duties while trying not to draw attention to the wristband.

After finishing her duties, Vivi now had the free time she needed to try and see what else the wristband was capable of. She gathered a bag of supplies and headed out.
And she knew just the place to do it.
"Alright! All I need now is to get a…" Vivi said but stopped when she remembered last night.
"Oh, right!" Vivi facepalmed. "I already have a transport."
She then looked around to see if anyone was around, once she found the coast was clear. Vivi pulled up her sleeve to reveal the wristband.
She presses the button, activating the faceplate and setting it back to the insect icon.
Now that she was ready this time. Vivi pressed down the faceplate, enveloping her in a green flash.
The wristband sank into Vivi's arm as the skin hardened and turned into a green exoskeleton with the hand becoming black with three clawed fingers. Her head morphed, growing four golden insectoid eyes that blinked vertically and Vivi's face turned black and three horns grew out of it. Her body was reshaped into a more insectoid one. Four green insect legs grew out of Vivi's sides, two green silk wings sprouted from her back, and her abdomen grew a massive black stinger. She then fluttered her wings in a serious pose.
The green light died down and Vivi was back in her insect form.
"So far so good, now let's get going," Vivi said to herself, as she flew into the air.
Vivi flew very high in the sky so she wouldn't be seen. "Wow, I'm getting the hang of this." Vivi compliments herself.
Suddenly a shadow loomed next to her. "What the…" She asked but was cut off by something tugging on her bag of supplies.
Vivi instantly knew what was behind this.
Warusagi birds- the thieving herons of the desert.
And right now one was now trying to steal her stuff.
"Urrgg! Let go of that, you rotten bird!" She growled as she had a tug-of-war with this heron.
In frustration, she suddenly fires slime out of her eyes. Hitting the heron dead on, making it let go of her bag. It flew off in defeat and disgust.
Vivi on the other hand, should have been disgusted as well. But she was too shocked that she could do that.
"I did that?!" She asked herself.
Vivi then turned and fired more slime from her eyes.
"I get there are 'more' to these creatures than their appearances imply." Vivi thought to herself. "I'll have to remember that."

After flying for a while, Vivi arrived at her destination, a small oasis filled with plants, palm trees, and a small lake. It was a sharp contrast to the dry sandy desert.
To Vivi, it's the perfect place to test her new abilities. She also chose this place because it was close to Yuba, home to a good friend. That way, her father wouldn't get suspicious.
After landing, the wristband timed out and Vivi returned to normal.
"Alright, I guess I should write down what I learned so I don't forget." Vivi decided while she waited for the wristband to recharge.
She pulls out a blank notebook and begins writing.

After a while, the wristband's green glow returned and was ready to transform.
"Ok, let's see the other forms," Vivi said as she flipped through the icons until she saw the fire icon.
"Well, this was the first form it suggested," Vivi noted, and slapped down the faceplate.
The wristband sunk into Vivi's arm and from where it sank, brown-orange rocks erupted from her skin and worked their way down her body until they reached her eye, covering her head to toe in solid rock. Then, molten cracks appeared in the outline of Vivi's now rocky skin and the badge symbol appeared on her collarbone. Her head erupted into flames with a face outline inside and she struck a pose.
The green light died down as Vivi went to the lake to see her reflection.
Vivi was now a slim, feminine being made of molten plasma covered in brown-orange rocks with her hands exposed. Her now exposed feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe. Her collarbone is shaped like a volcano with the badge symbol on it, which generates a fiery "hair" that covers her head, leaving a mask-like face visible with no nose or ears.
Overall, Vivi couldn't help but find everything about this form cool.
"Wow! I'm actually on fire, and it doesn't burn." Vivi notes, her voice sounding raspy and singed.
"Though it's a good thing I didn't turn into this form first, otherwise I might have burned down the palace." She admits to herself.
But Vivi doesn't know that the Warusagi from earlier was watching her from afar. Wanting payback for earlier, the heron started moving towards Vivi. It took one step on a twig and broke it.
That twig snap made Vivi turn to face the source. In doing so, she waved her molten hand, accidentally sending a small wave of fire at the tree the heron was behind. The fire trashed the tree and singed the heron's tail feathers, spreading quickly on its body due to being slimed earlier. It flew away trying to put out the fire.
Back with Vivi, she was fascinated by her firepower. "No way! I can shoot fire too!"
She then creates a fireball from her hand and chucks it at a small boulder nearby, blowing it to bits.
"Alright! I wonder what else I can do?" She asked herself.
Vivi then tried several things to test her powers. She put her palms together to create a big fireball, created streams of fire, propelled herself into the air by shooting fire from her feet, even absorbing fire into her body, and accidentally created some glass by standing in the sand too long.
After trying just about anything she could think of, Vivi slumps over by a boulder to catch her breath.
"Ok, so this form is definitely able to do almost anything with fire," Vivi notes. "It's kinda like I have a Devil Fruit."
True, using these abilities feels like you have a Devil Fruit, and with each form, it's like having multiple fruits at the same time. But as a bonus, she still can go in water.
This form, in particular, reminded Vivi of a news article she read about a rising pirate with a fire Devil Fruit. And now here she was using similar abilities to him but without a Devil Fruit.
But then the badge symbol began to flash red.
"Beep, beep, beep, beep, beeeeep!"
Vivi erupted into a red flash and changed to her normal self.
"Alright! now I can write down what I learned." Vivi said, excited to be able to grab something without burning it.
She wrote down everything she did while she waited for the wristband to recharge.
Eventually, the band glows green, meaning it's ready for another transformation.
Vivi then twisted the dial to the dog icon next. "Ok, how about this one?" She said as she slapped down the faceplate.
The band sank into Vivi's wrist, causing her veins to pulse and expand rapidly, until they reached her eye, which she clenched shut. When she opened them again, they were fully orange. Afterward, orange and blue fur sprouted all over her body, her teeth turned to fangs and she grew three gills on each side of her collar. She stretched her three-fingered paw out and it sprouted black claws. Her clothes transformed into a collar with two handholds on the back and two armored shoulder pads. The badge symbol was on her left shoulder pad as she let out a roar as the transformation ended.
The green flash died down and Vivi approached the lake to see her new form.
In the reflection is the outline of a large canine creature with a metal collar around its neck, Two large shoulder pads sat on its shoulders. Vivi was only able to tell she was the canine, due to seeing the faint outline of the badge on her left past. Besides that, any other distinctive features were hard to pinpoint due to an unforeseen complication.
Everywhere Vivi looked, all she saw was a dull featureless environment with everything appearing as if it was made out of simple outlines, but still able to tell what they were.
Seeing all this for the first time felt very trippy to Vivi. "Uhh… that's so weird…" She thought to herself, shaking her head.
She tried to rub her eyes when that failed to change her vision. But when she reached for them, she was in for a shock.
Touching the part of her face where her eyes should be, Vivi only feels fur with no signs of any eye holes. She had come to a startling realization.
"T-this form doesn't have any eyes?!" Vivi thought to herself, shocked. She then tried to talk but all that came out was a roar.
"What the-?"
Vivi tries to speak again, but only another frustrated roar can out.
"N-no eyes! And I CAN'T TALK!" She groaned to herself. "What am I supposed to do with this?"
Vivi starts pacing in a circle, trying to figure out what to do with this form. As she did, the heron came back and flew above Vivi. In its claws were a pair of large coconuts it planned to drop on her.
The heron then dropped its payload onto Vivi. It eagerly awaits seeing it strike her. But something happened that made that more of a fantasy than reality.
Down below, Vivi was still pacing when she suddenly stopped. Her gills suddenly came to life as she sensed the incoming coconuts.
"What the…" Vivi thought before without even thinking, jumps into the air and swipes the coconuts away with her large paws. The coconuts were sent flying and accidentally struck the heron, making it fall to the ground.
"Ok… I guess I shouldn't have been so quick to judge…" She notes, complementing this form's agility and athleticism.
She then does more of this and learns a lot. Vivi uses this form to climb trees, swing around like a monkey, lift heavy boulders, and dig a few holes. All while using her smell and hearing in place of her eyes.
After a while, she stops to catch her breath.
"I take back every bad thought about this transformation. This is actually pretty useful." Vivi complimented. "It's kinda like Chakra when he uses his Devil Fruit."
Then the badge symbol began to flash red.
"Alright! As much as this form is fun, I just want my normal eyes back."
"Beep, beep, beep, beep, beeeeep!"
Vivi erupted into a red flash and changed to her normal self.
After that, she wrote down everything about the canine form. Then the wristband recharged and Vivi moved on to the next Icon.
"Three down, seven to go." She noted as she slapped down the faceplate, once more.
The wristband sank into her wrist and became encased in green diamond before it covered her other arm and his head before it closed around her eye and became fully golden. Two short spike-like diamonds grew out of her back and Vivi's clothes morphed into a bodysuit, black on one side, blue on the other. The badge symbol was on her upper left bicep as the transformation ended.
The green flash died down and Vivi approached the lake to inspect her new form.
In the reflection, Vivi was now a tall humanoid being made entirely of pale green/blue crystals, with a square head and two short spikes coming out of her back. Her outfit was now a sleeveless uniform that was black on the right half and blue on the left with a black patch on the left shoulder where the badge symbol hangs.
"Well, so far, so good," Vivi noted, her voice sounding deeper yet still feminine. "I hope this form can do something useful."
Vivi looks over her body to find any clues to this form's abilities. She gets her answer when she clutches her fist so hard that the crystal of her body reforms to turn into a massive crystal spike.
A smile formed on Vivi's crystalline face. "I can definitely work with this." She noted.
She then pointed her arm ahead of her and her hand turned into a barrage of crystal projectiles. Elsewhere, the heron got back to its feet, as it was trying to regain its footing. Vivi's barrage came flying at it.
The heron tried to dodge but ended up pinned to a bolder behind it.
Back with Vivi, she was more engrossed in her new crystal abilities. Doing pretty much anything with crystallokinesis.
Like creating crystal barriers, and weapons and doing pretty much a lot of things with her crystals.
"This is pretty fun." Vivi complimented. "I can't wait for what else this has in store."
Vivi then writes down info about this form in the notebook. But this time, she doesn't have to wait to change back.
Later, she changes back and waits for the wristband to recharge.
"Ok, Next!" Vivi slapped the faceplate.
The wristband sank into Vivi's wrist, causing her veins to pulse and expand rapidly, until they reached her eye, which she clenched shut. When she opened them again, they were fully green. Vivi's hands then lost two fingers and morphed into black scissor-like claws before her entire structure started to take on a more velociraptor-like state, her skin grew blue with black armor-like plating with blue on the center as her feet morphed into a ball-like structure and she grew a long blue and black striped tail and her head into a more triangular shape before her face was covered with a black visor with blue lighting as she struck a pose,
The green flash died down and Vivi approached the lake to see her new form.
This form resembles a semi-armored Velociraptor. She has black orbs on her feet, a black tail with five blue stripes, and bulky claws with 3 fingers that can only open and close. She wears a black cone-like helmet with a protective visor that slides over his face. When she lifted the visor, she saw her face was now blue with green eyes, black lips, and stripes running under and in between her eyes. Her outfit was now a black bodysuit and turtleneck-like shirt with a blue section around her neck that goes down her chest in a V-formation, and blue stripes on her forearms and wrists. The badge symbol was now on the middle of her chest.
"Wow! Now let's see what this thing does." Vivi notes.
Without even thinking, the black orb on her feet spins rapidly and accidentally sends her flying forward. "W-wwow- wow woww WOOOOW- OAAFFFFF!"
Vivi ends up landing face-first on the ground. Luckily she had her face visor up so no dirt into her face.
"Ugh…" Vivi groaned under her visor. "So… I guess this form has super speed."
"Let's try this again…" She then proceeded to use her speed again. This time she sped from one side of the oasis to the other.
The heron at the same time managed to get itself unpinned for the bolder. Then Vivi sped by sending the heron flying into a tree.
Vivi sped around using her newfound speed to several cool tricks and at the same time wrote down a lot in her notebook. Showing this form is very good at multitasking with its blinding speed.
She did this until the wristband timed out. Thankfully she stopped just in time.
"Beep, beep, beep, beep, beeeeep!"
Vivi changed back and decided to take a little lunch break. Transforming into these forms and using their abilities back to back was very tiring for Vivi. Though maybe with more practice that wouldn't be a problem in the future.
After her lunch break, the wristband flashed green and she moved on to the next form.
"Well, halfway done." Slamming down the faceplate.

Alright, I know some of you have many questions about this fic, and in due time, most will be answered.
But I will say this…
Nyter086: Yes, many people in One Piece will be shocked and blown away by the Omnitrix. At first, believing it to be some crazy unknown Devil Fruit.
Especially the Straw Hats, Alabasta, Baroque Works, and the World Government.
Zekken182: Several of the aliens will be different from Ben's due to Vivi being female.
For example, many of you have noticed that Vivi's Stinkfly has a tiara-like head crest, which is inspired by royal insects. Also, her form is larger than Ben's. Because with most colony bugs, the females are usually larger than males, and Lepidopterrans (Stinkfly's race) live in colonies.
Another example will be Four Arms, according to Rook, Female Tetramand are naturally stronger than the males. But in the show, Ben defeated Looma, a female Tetramand with Four Arms due to the Omnitrix turning you into the fittest, healthiest, and peak physical version of that alien based on your age. And since Vivi is a girl, her Four Arms is much stronger than Ben's.
Vivi will also be more cautious with her Omnitrix than when Ben first got his.
Also, for the time being, Vivi doesn't name her aliens, yet. But once she gets to Whisky Peaks and meets the Straw hats, she will and it will be Luffy who suggested it.
(P.S. Every time Vivi transforms Luffy will always get very excited.)
One last thing, If you're wondering what the aliens have and what they sound like, I had put together a voice cast for the aliens. (More will be added in the future.)
