Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Swordmen of the west. We have reach the end of the first arc of this tale as the gang is going to rob the Cornwall train. So let get right to the action. Recap

Last time on Swordmen of the west: The camp food supple was starting to run low for everyone. Kirito, Asuna, Arthur and Charles agree to go hunting. they set out to the mountain to look for game. They were able to caught some deer to help feed the camp. But their hunting trip turn into a battle when they were attack by a group of SAO monster the ruin kobold sentinels. Once the monster were dealt with their leader the boss monster Illfang the kobold lord appears. It was a rough battle but in the end they were able to defeat him. Kirito believe that Death gun some how was able to bring the monster to life to attack them. They must be careful from this point on.

Chapter 5

Who the hell is Leviticus Cornwall?

Kirito Pov: It been a few days since our run in with the SAO monsters. Honestly, to think we would get attack by them of all things. What more we believe that Death gun some how brought them here. But what have me wondering is when we defeated them they dissolve into data just like when a Digimon died. So is he bring them straight from the game, it sort of make sense since he is an SAO survivor like me and Asuna. But how is he doing it the problem. Man this is giving me a major headache, either way he must know were here now and will be coming after us. Right now my family and I were checking in on John. Asuna been helping him recovers after his run in with the wolves. With us was the camp pastor Swanson. That when Arthur came in. "I thought you was reading him his last rites… now I see you're introducing him to your other passion." Arthur said. "I'll mind you to show me some respect, Mr. Morgan." Swanson said. "Agreed, there no fun in making fun of some one who almost die." Sinon said.

The pastor soon leaves. Arthur turn to look at John. "You're still here, then?" Arthur ask. "I own you and the kids, although, I thought I was only seeing things when I saw Sinon was part cat." John said. "Oh that normal from where from." Sinon said as her tail sway behind her. "Nothing about you kids seem normal." Arthur said as Dutch came in. "Arthur, kids I think it time for the train." He said. "So were actually hitting it alright!" Yuuki cheer. "You want me to come." John said as he try to get up. "Of course I do, but… look at you." Dutch said. "He right, even with my healing, you still in no shape to move." Asuna said as Abigail and Jack came in. "The boy wanted to see you, John." Abigail said. "He's seen me now… or what's left of me. What about you?" John ask. "Guess I was hoping to see a corpse." She said. "Yikes, And i thought you guys fights were bad." Sinon said. "We hardly ever fight, much. If we did Asuna would kick my ass." I said as me, Sinon, Yuuki, Arthur and Dutch left the cabin.

We ready the horses and mount up with several members of the gang to ride out. "I can't believe were doing this." I said with a sigh. "Me neither, but Pax said we have to help these guys if we want to find Death gun." Sinon said. "Good point, let hope we can do this with out killing anyone." I said. "Now, railway men. Bill, now you ride ahead and set the charge… at the water tower, just before the tunnel." Dutch said. "Ain't a problem." Bill said. "Why are we doing this? Weather's breaking, we could leave. I-I thought we was lying low." Hosea said. "What do you want from me, Hosea?" Dutch ask annoy. "I just don't want any more folks to die, Dutch." Hosea said. "We're living, Hosea, we're living… look at me, we're living… even you. But we need money, everything we have's in Blackwater. You fancy heading back there?" Dutch said as Hosea sigh. "Listen, Dutch, I ain't trying to undermine you, just… I just want to stick to the plan… which was to lie low, then head back out west. Now suddenly, we're about to rob a train." He said.

"What choice have we got?" Dutch ask. "Leviticus Cornwall's no joke, Dutch, he's…" Hosea said. "Just who is this corny guy any way?" Yuuki ask. "He's a big railway magnate, sugar dealer, oil man." Hosea said. "In other words he some big shot around here then." I said. "Well how good for him. Sounds like he has more than enough to share. we have a train to rob." Dutch said as we finally started to see some green at last. "Okay gentlemen. Listen up, all of you. According to the information so kindly provided to us by the O'Driscolls, the train will be coming north, from Big Valley. We're going to pick it off after it crosses the border into the Grizzlies. There's a raised spot there that should give us good vantage. Charles, Sinon, you'll keep lookout for any outriders. How's that hand, by the way?" Dutch ask. "I'll be fine." Charles said. "Good. I'll take the driver and engineer, then run point. Lenny, Yuuki and Javier, you two take the front cars, deal with any guards. Arthur, Kirito and Micah, you head straight for the back. That's what we're after… Mr. Cornwall's private car." Dutch said.

"You, the kid and me, Morgan. Have you got a problem with that?" Micha ask. "Not if you keep your head for once." Arthur said. "You worry about yourself." Micah said. It going to be one of those days I know it. "Enough! After Bill blows the tracks, we're gonna need to move fast. Is everyone clear on what they're doing?" Dutch ask. We all agree as we kept riding. "Feels good, doesn't it? But we need to get this done fast now it's thawing… before anyone gets up here after us. Look at you boys. See? This is what I call a crew. Micah Bell, Charles Smith, Arthur Morgan, Javier Escuella, and what about young Lenny here? Always the first man on his horse. And of course our new friends." Dutch said. "Just happy we're back at 'em, Dutch." Lenny said. "I hope you kids are ready." Javier said to us. "We can handle this no problem." Yuuki said. "Just stay calm, keep your eye sharp. That goes for all of you. No mistakes, not again." Dutch said. "So we do this, then we go back to Blackwater to collect?" Micah ask.

"How many times are you going to ask the same question, Micah?" Arthur ask. "That's a lot of damn money to leave sitting for too long." Micah said. "It would be crazy to go back there now. The place will be swarming with Pinkertons." Charles said. "Pinkertons?" Vielecmon ask. "They are the law during this time." I whisper to him. "We go back when I say we go back, and that's the end of it. There's the water tower. Hold up here on the ridge. Is Bill there?" Dutch ask as we came to the spot where were going to hit the train. Down by the tracks was Bill as he look to be setting up the dynamite. "Yeah." Arthur said. "You wanna head down? See how he's getting on?" Dutch ask as Arthur head down to help Bill. "To think were going to hop onto a train, reminds me of that time when those crook hi jack that one with Takato father on." Sinon said. "Yeah, too bad it back fire on them." I said. "About time. I have to say, I am rather looking forward to this." Micah said as Arthur came back. "Everything okay?" Dutch ask.

"I think so." Arthur said. "Okay, cover your faces. Train should be here any minute now." Dutch said as we pull bandana over our faces. "Gentlemen, it's time. Good luck, all of you. You all know what to do." Dutch said as we saw the train coming. "Here we go." Bill said as he push on the detonator but noting happen. The train soon passes us. "Oh man where the boom." Yuuki said disappointed. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Dutch said. "We got to move!" I shout as we chase after the train. We jump off the cliff and land on the train. Me and Yuuki look to see Arthur and Lenny with us as Lenny hang off the edge of the train. "Pull me up! I'm slipping! Oh shit!" He said as he hang on. "I've got you. Now stop yelling." Arthur said as he pull Lenny up. "You're okay… now let's go slow this thing down." Arthur said. "Where Javier?" Lenny ask. "Look like he fell down, guess it just us." I said. "Come on, we need to stop this train." Arthur said as we got into the train. Lenny quickly took out a guard as we move forward. We saw another one near by, Yuuki grin and she ran forward as she kick him in the back of the head to knock him out.

"Is she always like that?" Lenny ask. I sigh. "Pretty much." I said. Soon the guards start to shoot at us. Arthur and Lenny return fire. I pull out a small hand gun that Dutch gave me and use it to take out 3 of them. Yuuki run forward and she slam her sword to take down 2 of them. We soon made it to the engine car as Lenny pull the brake to make the train stop. "Look out, we got more coming off the train!" Arthur shout as we got off the train to engage the guards. "There better be some money at the end of this." Lenny said as he shot at them. I jump over the rock I was using as cover to rush at them. "Double circular!" I shout as I swung toward 2 guards to cut them down. "Jamming thunder!" Vielecmon shout as he hit several of them with his purple lighting blast. Yuuki got on top of the train and jump gown onto one to knock him to the ground. "Vorpal sword!" She shout as she then slash at another one. "Alright! Finish those sons of bitches!" Dutch shout as he and the rest of the gang show us to help us.

That was a relief for us. We quickly dealt with the rest of the guards to secure the train. "I can see now why the O'Driscolls brought so many boys up here for this." Lenny said. "Yeah, there was certainly a lot of them." Sinon said. "Arthur, get over here! We don't have time to play games!" Dutch shout as we head to the back car of the train. "Are you all alright?" He ask. "Were good." I said. "let's get the money and go." Arthur said. "We got some fellers holed in up this last car." Dutch said. "Ah shit." Arthur said annoy. Dutch look to the car. "What are you boys planning on doing in there? Listen to me, we don't want to kill any of ya… any more of ya. I give you my word, but trust me… we will." He said trying to reason with them. "I work for Leviticus Cornwall." A man said. "Come man, just open the door and no one will get hurt." I said. "We got our orders." The man said. "Well in that case." Dutch said as he raise up his gun but Sinon stop him. "Don't bother Dutch, our bullets won't get through that. I have some else in mind." She said.

She went to the door and plant one of her bombs on it and back away. "You all may want to look away." She said as she press the detonator as the door explodes opening the car. "Alright, come on… just walk on out here. We don't want to kill you… We just wanna rob your boss." Dutch said as 3 men came out with there hands up. We went in to search the car, once inside we saw it was fancy looking. "Oh woah reminds me of my house." Yuuki said. "You some rich girl?" Micah said. "Oh yeah one of the 6 riches back home. But being a rich girl was no fun." Yuuki said as we look around. "You two got the safe?" Arthur ask. "Oh yes, should be easy as cake. You're just gonna stand there, Kid, pour me some brandy will ya? I'm parched." Micah said. "Do it yourself we did all the work." I said as I help Arthur search a desk. "Okay, let's see if we can get this open. Come on, come on. Getting there… There, See? That's how it's done. Shit, just a pile of papers. I don't think so. Here, make yourself useful. Least we all know you can read." Micah said as he open the safe and gave Lenny a shack of papers.

"Railroad contracts… invoices… blah blah blah. You got anything?" Micah ask. "Not really. Sugar imports from the Spanish West Indies… a lot of sugar. Some fancy new boat he's ordered from Europe." Lenny said. "I thing we got something." I said as I pull some paper and hand them to Arthur. "What did you find?" Dutch ask as we exit the train. "These… bonds. They worth anything?" Arthur ask. Dutch grins. "Oh, sure… bearer bonds. I think we can probably sell these pretty easily. Well done. Now would you get rid of all of this?" He said as he gesture to the train. Arthur look at him and the train. "The train?" He ask. "Yeah get it out of here." Dutch said as we mount our horses. "What about them?" Arthur as about the guards. "It's up to you. Kill 'em… leave 'em here… take 'em with you on the train… Just make sure they don't send no folk after us. See you back at camp. When you get back… we'll be moving on. The rest of you… let's ride!" Dutch said as we rode off and left Arthur to his work.

"I have fun today, I can't wait to tell big sis." Yuuki said with a laugh. "I'm glad one of us have fun." I said. "Now don't be like that Kirito, you kids did well today. I see a promising future with us." Dutch said. "No disrespect Dutch, were only with you until we hunt down Death gun." Sinon said. "I know, I hope you young uns get your man. Come on let get to camp." He said. I sigh, I hope we don't get over our heads in this.
