Last time on Swordmen of the west; The gang finally left the mountain to head east to relocate. They make their camp at Horse hoe overlook as Kirito went with Arthur to check out the town of Valentine. There Kirito met with his old friends Lizbeth and Silica as they explain they and the rest of Kirito old group came to help them but were scatter in the world. From there they head to the saloon and got caught up in a bar fight. After ward they met with Dutch and an old friend of the gang Josiah Trelawny. Joisah told them that a member of the gang Sean was being held in Blackwater as the gang plan to free him.

Chapter 7

Polite society Valentine style

Asuna Pov: It been a day or so since the guys went to check out Valentine. I couldn't believe that Kirito came back with Lizbeth and Silica. I thought we would never see them again. What more the rest of our friends are in this world to, I hope we can find them in time. I did have to get on Kirito case for starting a bar fight of all things. Honestly that Husband of mine. Right now I was catching up with Lizbeth and Silica. "So let me get this right, you guys left to help out in a digital world full of monster where Yui was turn into a real girl?" Lizbeth ask. "That right auntie Liz." Yui said. "And then you end up in a world that was in a war between two immortals who seriously need couple counseling and fought armies of these Grim things and Digimon, man girl you have the craziest adventures when your on your own." Lizbeth said as she shook her head. "It just how things turn out and I don't regretted it." I said. 'I'm still trying to understand the fact that Yuuki is alive." Silica said. "It surprise me took but I'm happy that she hereard." I said as Yuuki got on my shoulder. 'Same here big sis." She said as she hug me.

"So what Kirito up too?" Lizbeth ask. 'He and Sinon headed out to look for leads on Death gun." I said. "I can't believe that a member off the murder guild is here and have SAO monster on his call." Lizbeth said. 'We don't know if that the case yet sugah." Syakomon said. "True, we won't know for sure until we find him." I said as Tilly Karen and Mary Beth came over to us. 'Hey girls were heading into town you in?" Karen ask. 'Sure I been wanting to check it out." I said. "We'll show you around." Silica said as we all head to Arthur and Uncle who were readying a cart. ": If you're gonna take the old man into town…. could you take us too?" Karen said. "Why what you got planned?" Arthur ask. "Nothing… we'll find something for y'all to do… we always do." Karen said. 'And there nothing to do here and I'm bored." Yuuki said. "We're bored out of our minds. Been cooped up here for two weeks now. Karen's about ready to murder Grimshaw." Mary Beth said. "Well, can Miss Grimshaw spare you?" Arthur ask.

""Can Miss Grimshaw spare you?" What's happened to you, Arthur? Three young healthy women want you to take 'em robbing… you're worried about house chores. Let's go!" Karen said. "Fair enough, you got me. Come on then" Arthur said as we got on the cart and head off. "I can't believe we're going to see civilization… feels like weeks since we did." Tilly said. "Yeah, Valentine… the very embodiment of civilization. You ladies are gonna love it." uncle said. "Honestly being out in the open is a nice change of pace for us." Lizbeth said. "uh huh, we all grew up in a big city it can be so crowded." Silica said. "Oh yeah give me the country any day, remind me of home." Yuuki said. "Trust me girls your welcome to come back to Remnant with us." I said. "Oh you can count on it, I want to check it out." Lizbeth said. "So what this palce is like?" Yuuki said. "Nice from what Kirito told me, when your not getting into bar fights." I said as I look at Arthur.

Uncle chuckles. 'When he not getting a drink. Ladies, sing us a song." He said as Tilly, Karen and Mary Beth grin. "I got a girl in Berryville… can't be screwed 'cause she's too damn ill. So I don't go down there no more. There's a blue horse lays outside her door. I got a girl in Valentine… likes to drink that fancy wine. Plumes in her hat was two feet tall… the crack in her pants paid for it all. I got a girl in Berryville. Can't get it in her cause she won't stay still. She kicks and squeals and farts and hollers. She kicks and squeals and Parts and hollers. Won't take less than seven dollars. Won't take less than seven dollars.." They sang as we soon came to another cart that look to be in trouble. "Oh, goddamn it! Oh shit, the horses! This is all I need." The driver said as his horse got loose and ran off. "That man look like he need help." Yui said. "Is one of you gonna get that seller's horse?" Tilly ask. "Oh, I got lumbago, it's very serious!" Uncle said as we rolled our eyes. "Alright, I'll see what's going on… Lumbago. Really… You alright there, friend?" Arthur said as he got out to help the man. We watch as Arthur went to get the man horse.

"Now there a man you want around." Karen said. "He reminds me of my Tanner, I wonder is he ok." Yuuki said as I pat her shoulder. " I'm sure he and the others are ok." I said. 'Who Tanner?" Lizbeth ask. "Auntie Yuuki boyfriend, she try to keep him a secret from mama." Yui said. Yuuki blush. "Only because big sis is over protected." She said. I cross my arms and huff. "I was only looking out for you Yuuki, it my right as your sister." I said as Arthur came back and got on the cart as we got moving. "You're turning into a regular old fairy godmother there, Arthur." Uncle said. "What's that supposed to mean?" Arthur ask. "It means you've got a heart. A small one perhaps, hidden deep inside, but a real one. And you haven't, you repulsive old lizard." Mary Beth said. "Lizards have hearts!" Uncle shout. "Well, Arthur, I'm proud of you." Tilly said. "To be honest, if you lot hadn't been here… I probably woulda robbed him." Arthur said. "Why would you want to do that?" Silica ask. "Their crooks Silica." i said as the younger girl went wide eye. 'What!" She shout.

"Guess we should have mention it before." Syakomon said from my lap. "Yeah you should shellfish, Asuna you sure it a good idea to hang with these guys?" Lizbeth ask. "Relax pinkie, were not as back as we look." Karen said. " Don't worry Liz, everything under control." I said as we came to valentine. Huh it is quite peaceful. "Smell those sheep." Tilly said. "Or is that Uncle?" Karen said getting a look from him. "This looks like a decent little town." Mary Beth said. "Other people… finally." Tilly said. "I wonder I can find a bull to ride." Yuuki said. "No, never again after what happen last time." I said with a sigh. Honestly how in the heck did She find a bull monster Duval is beyond me. "Look at all that snow on the mountains. Sure don't want to be back up there" Mary Beth said. "You think we should've asked Molly to come with us?" Tilly said. "Oh no, Miss O'Shea is far too high and mighty now for the likes of us… or to do any real work. She's a society lady, now. Okay, take a good look around, ladies. Let's see what we got here." Karen said as we spilt up.

We were looking around town. "Man this place is cool." Yuuki said as she look at a clothing shoping. "Yeah Valintine is a nice place, but there isn't much to do here." Lizbeth said. "What you expect it the wild west, like those movies Klein made us watch." Silica said. "God those were awful, what we seen so far is far from them." I said. "Wonder how samurai wannabe is doing and the others?" Lizbeth ask. "I'm sure they are ok." I said. "Leafa that girl is brutal when there trouble what would you expect from Kirito sister, and that Alice girl we met. Still hard to believe she a robot." Lizbeth said. 'She a AI in a robot body. Honesty I don't fully recall what happen in the underworld before we got out." I said. "Yeah that was a total mess I tell ya glad you guys got out of it." Lizbeth said. We head to the shop to see Arthur asleep in a chair as Mary Beth came over as she shook him awake. "Gentlemen. I think I've got something good. I snuck into this fancy house… and acted like a servant girl… usually works. Someone was saying her sister was taking a trip… from New York or someplace. Train full of rich tourists, heading to Saint Denis… and then cruising off to Brazil." She said.

'Okay." Arthur said. "A train laden with baggage and… passing through a bit of deserted country at night… as to get to the docks in time for the tides… in some place called Scarlett Meadows." Mary Beth said. "Didn't we just rob a train?" I ask. Yuuki shrug. "Pretty much but who say we have to stop at one." She said with a grin. I fear my sister is becoming a crook. "Yeah, I know it… yeah, yeah, it's right out near New Hanover. Right, it's real quiet out there." Uncle said. "Sounds good. Where's Tilly and Karen?" Arthur ask. 'yeah where are they?' Silica ask. "I think at the hotel… they were picking up some drunken fellers… that they was going to rob." Mary Beth said. I face palm. "Why I may ask?" I ask. "It seemed easy. They have been gone for quite a while." She said. "Let go check up on they, they could have ran into trouble." I said. "Mama there miss Tilly." Yui said. We look to see that Tilly was being drag into an alley by a dark skin man. "That doesn't look good." Syakomon said.

We head over to Tilly to help her. "You thought I wouldn't find you, Tilly?" The man said. "You can go kiss a damn snake for all I care… get off me! Get off of me!" Tilly shout. 'Get your hands off of her!' Arthur shout as the man look at us. "Who are you?" He ask as he found my rapier at his neck. "Her friends, back off or I will run you through." I said as I glare at him. "Get the hell off of her, you son of a bitch." Arthur said threatening the man. The man back up with his hands up. "Hey… hey take it easy. There's no problem here." He said. "There will be if you don't get lost." Lizbeth said as she pull out her mace. while Silica hand was on her dagger. "You're making a big mistake, Tilly Jackson." The man said. "Just get lost jerk wad." Yuuki said. ": I ain't doing this with you right now." He said as he turn to leave. "You ok?" I ask. "I am thanks to you." She said. "Go wait with Uncle and Mary Beth, they're across the street." Arthur said as Tilly head to the cart. "Uncle look after here, were going to the hotel to find Karen." Arthur said as we head to the hotel.

We went inside to see the owner. "Can I help you, sir?" He ask. "Were looking for a girl who came in here earlier with a drunk feller? Mid twenties, blonde, you'd remember her." Arthur ask. "Yeah, they're in 2B, upstairs. Are you, uh, a friend of his?" The owner said. 'Friends of hers." I said as we head upstairs to the room. Once we got to the door we heard shouting. "Get off of me!" We heard Karen shout. Me and Yuuki slam our feet against the door to force it open as we saw Karen in a state of under dress with a black eye. "Get outta here, buddy, I paid." He said. "Not to hit her, which were going to repay tenfold." I said as we drawn our weapons. The man look panic as he try to run only for Silica to jump and kick him in the face to knock him out. "I hate bullies." She said as we look at Karen. "You ok miss Karen?" Yui said. " Take more then a punch to the face to keep me down." Karen said. "What the hell were you doing here?" Arthur ask. "Trying to play him. Not very well" Karen said. 'Look like it didn't go well." Lizbeth said.

"You okay? You sure?" Arthur ask. "Yeah. Nothing… nothing to worry about, just… men, but… stupid bastard… stupid bastard was boasting about the bank." Karen said. "The bank?" I ask. "Sure, I know small town banks are usually a waste of time, but… this is a livestock town, there's lots of cash sometimes." She said. "Make sense people would pay a lot for animals." Yuki said. "Okay keep investigating." Arthur said. "Thanks I don't like being save unless needed." Karen said. 'Glad we could help let get out of here." I said as we head outside. We head to the cart. "You ok?" Tilly ask. "Yeah the guy only punch me, but Little Silica took his ass out." Karen said. ": Hey, who's that guy over there looking at us?" Mary Beth said as we saw someone looking at us. "Weren't you in Blackwater a few weeks back?" He ask. "Ain't from there." Arthur said. "Oh, you were. Well, I definitely saw you. With a bunch of fellers." The man said not convince. This could be trouble for us. "Sir you must be mistaken we were never in black water." I said.

"Listen, buddy. Come here for a minute." Arthur said as he walk to the man. But the man got on a horse and try to ran. "Black pearl!" Syakomon shout as she shot her pearls to hit the back of the horse knocking the man off. Arthur went over to him and grab him. "Now you listen carefully friend, we never been in Blackwater you here. And if you keep telling people we were well it won't end well for you you here." He said. "Yes sir you were never in black water." The man said scare. Arthur got the man to his feet. 'Good not get and don't let me see you again." He said as the man ran away. "Think he will call the law on us?" Yuuki ask. "No he seem to get the point, so shall we get back to camp." Uncle said. 'Lets I have enough excitement for one day." I said as we got in the cart and rode back to camp. So much for a nice trip into town.
