Recap

Last time on Swordmen of the west: The gang were relaxing at camp as Arthur and Dutch discuss what to do. They soon heard that Micah got arrested and have to bust him out when they can. Meanwhile Kirito and the gang head to town where Sinon learns that their friend Euego was in this world and go to track him down. They discover a body pose in a strange way as they met up with Euego. Euego told them he was looking for them when an Arrancar send him to this world. They were soon attack by Hollow lead by a member of Kirito old SAO guild Sachi Kagemeko who was now an arrancar. She didn't wanted to fight them but Sachi was under order to take Kirito and Asuna D-arcs. Sachi prove to be powerful as she chose to leave the group for the day promising to be back. Kirito was determind to figure what going on with Sachi and bring her back to her senses.

Chapter 11

Sinon Pov: It been a few days since we met up with Euego and our encounter with the Arrancar Sachi. When we return to Camp Kirito told us the full story of her death. Sachi was part of a guild of low level players that Kirito join up with even thou he was 20 levels higher then them. For a while things were going well for them until they head into a dungeon and were over run with monster. Kirito was force to watch as his guild mates were killed one by one with Sachi being the last to go. This is what cause him to be a loner before he started to partner up with Asuna in SAO. What more that girl Sachi she was one of the figure we saw when we enter Kirito mind to save him from the nightmare Grimm a while back. Their death weight heavy on his spirit. To think the boy who save me from my demons was suffering like this. And now with Sachi return and as a arrancar to boot. It must have taken it told on him. What more who ever Sachi is working for wanted her to take Kirito and Asuna D-arcs for some reason.

Who are we up against and how is Death gun is involve? What more there was that body we found and the map. I get the feeling we stumble into something larger than we think. Currently were back at camp as I was looking out at the water. "Auntie Sinon?" Yui ask as she sat next to me. "What up Yui, is something wrong?" I ask my niece of sorts. "I'm worry about daddy, ever since he seen that woman he haven't been himself." She said concern about Kirito well being. She not the only one. "I know how you feel Yui. from what Kirito told us that Sachi girl was a friend of his that died along time ago." I said. "That right, I saw her death back when I was part of SAO cardinal system. It was very difficult time for daddy." Yui said. I chuckle. "I forget you use to be a AI sweetie, your quite smart." I said as I pat her head. "She is my little genius." Kirito said as he came over to join us. "How you holding up Kirito?" I ask as he sat next to us. "I won't lied and say seeing Sachi didn't throw me for a loop." He said as he sigh.

"It just hard to think she is now a Arrancar like Ulquiorra. Euego told me about this winter war thing and it was insane. I mean Takato mention it before since his jack ass of an uncle was the cause of it it just a lot to take in." He said. "What are you going to do if Sachi show up again?" I ask. He cross his arms. "When we fought I could hear it in her voice Sachi didn't wanted to fight us. She was being force by this master of hers." He said. I nod. 'I notice it too, who ever send her knew of her connection to you in order to get what he wants, the D-arcs." I said. 'But why what so important about them." Kirito said. "No idea, it got to be more then to prevent them from digivolving." I said. We soon saw Arthur walking to us. "Hey you two free to ride with me?" He ask. 'What up Arthur?" Kirito ask. 'Hosea wanted me to meet him at some place call Emerald ranch for a job. I thought some company would help." Arthur said. "Why not we could use some air." I said. "Can I come with me and Bosamon will be good." Yui said.

"I don't be why not, just don't tell your mother if we get into trouble." Kirito said. 'Now your starting to sound like Takato." I said with a chuckle. We had to our horses and rode out of camp as we follow Arthur. About an hour later we came to a ranch where we see Hosea talking to someone outside of a barn. "That's an interesting way of putting it, Seamus." Hosea said to the man. "Oh no doubt, I do interesting very well. It's trusting I don't do so well." Seamus said. Hosea saw us coming over. "Everyone This is Seamus… he's our new partner." He said. "I ain't no such thing." Seamus said with his hands up. "Prospective new partner… if he likes us." Hosea said. "Liking ain't the problem… trusting is, as I said. Keep your voices down… I don't want my boss hearing. This is a side line." Seamus said. "So in other words is shady as hell." I said. "Perhaps." Seamus said. "Look at us, honest as the day is long." Hosea said. "Exactly." Seamus said. "I tell you what… let us prove ourselves." Hoesa said.

Arthur just look annoy as did Kirito. "Prove ourselves? To this clown? What you talking about?" Arthur ask. "He got a point you haven't explain what this is about yet." Kirito said. "Good day, Hosea… good luck with your business dealings." Seamus said ass he try to walk away as Hosea stop him. "Listen, he's rough and ready and quick with his tongue… but I swear, you can trust him, and trust me. And these fine younguns too." He said as Seamus look at us. "I'm an old man." Seamus said. "You're not old, Seamus." Hosea said. "I'm old enough… and you know why I ain't dead?" Seamus ask. "You don't trust idiots." Hosea said. 'Nobody should." I said as I glance at Kirito who roll his eyes. 'Exactly little lady." Seamus said. "We're not idiots… let us prove it to you." Hosea said. "Okay… I tell you what…" Seamus said as he greed to give us the job. 'So what are we doing?" Kirito ask. "Old Bob Crawford and his boys… just bought a beautiful stolen stage coach from upstate. It's in their barn. Now you go get that… and then we can work together." Seamus said.

"Who?" Yui ask with a tilt of her head. "An acquaintance of mine." Seamus said. "So you want us to take out your competition?" Hosea ask. Seamus look worry. "Well, he-he's not just an acquaintance… but a cousin… by marriage. I also want to see if you boys got what it takes. Now, you survive that…" He said. So he want us to robbed his cousin? I swear. 'So where can we find him?" I ask. The sooner this is over with the better. "He's in a farmhouse just northwest of here, called Carmody Dell. It's just up the train tracks… as you're heading up towards Fort Wallace. There's also some money in that house… but that's your business, not mine… but don't kill nobody. Folks know we ain't intimate no more… and they'll know it was me." Seamus said. "But, you're fine with us robbing your cousin?" Hosea ask. "By marriage… and yes, I'd love it." Seamus said. "You heard the man… let's go rob his cousin." Hosea said. "By marriage." Seamus said as we head to the horse. 'So were really going to rob someone?" Yui ask as Kirito put her on the horse. "Look like it let try to be quick about it." He said as we got moving.

"Lead the way. He said the place is just northwest of here." Hosea said. "Me?" Arthur ask. "You and the kids were the ones who's been out gallivanting around here." Hosea said. ": That's what you call it. Clearly you've recovered from your bear encounter." Arthur said. "We all know that was no normal bear." Hosea said. "Were lucky we were able to get out of that unharm." I said. "Could have played that better, couldn't you?" Hosea said as he was talking about what happen at the farm. "Thought you wanted me here to show some strong arm? That's usually how it goes." Arthur said. "Yes, but… you know how this works." Hosea said. "C'mon, Hosea. That feller's a joke." Arthur said. "he got a point that Seamus guys didn't seem like trouble." Kirito said. "And that's why he's perfect. He won't cause us any problems. A safe spot to fence wagons and coaches, that's easy money for us." Hosea said. "I guess you're right." Arthur said. "on, it's not like he's asking us to rob a bank. If we can't steal a stagecoach from Seamus' old crooked cousin by marriage, we should hang up our hats now." Hosea said.

"This seem like a simple job, find the stagecoach, secure it and search the house for money. Get in get out." I said. 'Why does it sound like you did something like this before?" Kirito said. "There was this one job where I had to break in to a noble house to steal papers that detail some illegal tuff. I disguise my self as a maid since the owner have a thing for Faunus. Let just say if didn't turn out well for him." I said with a smirk. "So what's the story with that Emerald Ranch? You find out anything else?" Arthur ask. "A little. Owner's a nasty type, by all accounts. Seamus is sure scared of him." Hosea said. "That not saying much." Vielecmon said. "Something strange about the place. Used to be a saloon there, general store. Now it's all closed up, but they seem to have money." Hosea said. "Sounds worth a look around." Arthur said. "For sure… Seamus also mentioned the rancher's daughter a couple of times, how he used to see her around all the time but now she never leaves the house. Probably just sweet on her." Hosea said.

'Man you call that finding out a little?" I ask. 'Once he opens up, seems Seamus does like to talk." Hosea said as we soon came to a house in the distance. "That must be the place up ahead. We should go on foot from here. Lets see what we're dealing with, come on." Hosea said as we got off the horses and move to the house. We hid ourselves in the bushes to check the place out. "There's the house. I see the barn in the back, stagecoach has to be in there." Kirito said. "Okay, let's take a quick look at the place…" Hosea said as he took out some binoculars. "See anyone?' Yui ask. "Yes. Okay… I reckon we can do it now… I'll head over, distract 'em by putting on a little show while you sneak into the house, find what you can… then get the stage coach. Or… wait until nightfall. Sneak in, then I'll get the coach. You can try the house. What do you think?" Hosea said. "Either way will be risky for us.." I said. "Let's do it now." Arthur said. "Alright let me and Little Yui distract them and I can keep an eye on her." Hosea said.

"Alright then me and Sinon can check out the house while Arthur get the stagecoach." Kirito said. "Let get to work." Arthur said. We watch as Hosea and Yui wall to the house to keep the owners busy. With them distracted we sneak around back to get to the back door. Kirito pick the lock as he open it. Once in side we head into the upstairs and found the master bedroom and started to look. "I can't believe were doing this." I said as I search the desk for loot. "I know but if we want to survive in this word we have to do what we can." He said as he check a trunk. "How you thinks the res of our friends are doing, where ever they are?" I ask. "I'm sure they are ok, they can take care of themselves." He said. He let out a whistle. 'Found it." He said as he pull out a stack of cash. 'Good let get out of here." I said as we quickly sneak out of the house. We head to the barn in time to see Arthur got the stagecoach out as we sneak it off the property. Once we were clear we waited for Hosea and Yui to run to us as they hop in.

"How it go?" Kirito ask. "Mister Hosea is a good singer the couple really like him." Yui said. "Even thou they were being rob." Bosamon said as the furball disagree with what we did. "So what were you able to lift from the house?" Hosea ask. "Some some cash and some jewels." I said as we hand him the loot. "This was easier than hunting a thousand-pound grizzly anyway." Arthur said. "No doubt. I won't forget that in a hurry." Hosea said. 'So how much longer were going to stay here?" I ask. "Not sure. Until we can't, I suppose. Feels like we're starting to get back on our feet, slowly but surely. Just need to keep at it." Hosea said as we ride for a while. We soon eventually return to Emerald ranch with our prize. "Okay, here we are. Just pull the coach into the barn there. Hello, Seamus… we met your cousins." Hosea said as we pull the stagecoach into the barn. "How was it?" Seamus ask. 'It went well." I said as we got off the coach. 'It was mostly Arthur. Like I said, coarse, but competent." Hosea said.

"Here." Seamus said as he pay us for our work. "If you find any other coaches that need selling… I'll see what I can offer you for them. But discreet, you know?" He said. "That we will." Kirito said as we head to our horses. "Well that went well didn't it?" Hosea said. 'That it did, you kids did good today." Arthur said. "It was fun." Yui said. "Let try not to make it a habit, any way we should get back to camp before Asuna find out you took Yui on a heist." I said as Kirito sighs. "Tell me about it." He said as we got on our horses and make our way back to camp. Man, this line of work leave a bad taste in my mouth. Make me wonder what gonna happen to us next.
