Last time on Swordmen of the west. Kirito was coming to term after their encounter with his former Guildmate turn Arrancar Sachi Kageneko. He things she is being force to attack and wishes to save her. They were soon call on by Arthur to go with him to Emerald ranch to meet up with Hosea. There they met a ranch hand Seamus who wanted them to steal a stagecoach from his cousin by marriage. They arrive at the place as Hosea and Yui distracted the owner as Kirito and Sinon check the house. with their stolen gains they took the Stagecoach and brought it to Seamus. They return to camp as they got ready for the next job at hand.

Chapter 12

Blessed are the meek

Yuuki Pov: Man this is so unfair, a few days ago Kirito and Sinon went with Arthur and Hosea to steal a stagecoach and they didn't invited me to join. I mean come one, why do they get to have all the fun. But Kirito got in so much trouble when Asuna found out he took Yui on a heist. Man I never seen big sis so mad as she try to stab at him witch end up with the two of them running around the camp. It certainly make the afternoon fun. Anyway I was currently training with Kirito. I block a strike from him as I move back and swung at his waist. He brought down his right sword to block and then thrust with his left. I side step him as I got on his left and swing for him.; He back flip to dodge to law a few feet from me. "Oh not bad Kirito, you gotten better." I said. "Same to you, your skill as ever Yuuki. Guess being reborn work out for you." He said. I chuckle as I rub the back of my head. 'Yeah, not only I was reborn with a healthy body but I get to look like my ALO avatar to boot. But the best part of it I got to be with big sis again." I said as he pale when he heard her name.

"Asuna still mad about what happen?" I ask. We glance over to see Asuna cooking with Pearson. She glance at us and huff as she look away. "Pretty much, give her some time and she will calm down. Beside Yui wasn't in any real danger, the job went well as it did." He said. "I know, Asuna can be over protected of us." I said. "After everything we been threw in our lives I don't blame her." He said. "Agreed, there nothing she wouldn't do for her family." Vielecmon said. "Plus I think she concern about your ex showing up." I said as Kirito blink at me. 'What you talking about?" He ask. "That Sachi chick we ran into a while back. Isn't she the girl you dated before big sis?" I ask. He shook his head. "No, I mean we were close, but things never gotten hat far before she died. I already explain this to Asuna so she got nothing to worry about." He said. "Let hope, We don't want a slasher situation going on." I said. "Tell me about it didn't you have someone stalking you a while back?" He ask. I sigh recalling that mess. 'Yeah after the hold Negamon thing some creep from my old school was following me around." I said.

I soon grin. "But joke on him I was dating Tanner at the time and my boy send him packing." I said with a giggle as I remember Tanner scaring the creep off for good. "Where do you think they are, the others?" I ask sadly. "I'm sure they are alright, The gang are strong. There nothing they can't do as long as they're together." Kirito said. I let out a smile. "Yeah, I'm sure Tanner is out kicking some ass somewhere." I said. "Knowing Tanner as long as we had that a certainly." Kirito said with a chuckle. That when we saw Arthur walking to us. "Hey you two busy?" He ask. "Not as all what you need Arthur?" Kirito ask. "I'm heading over to Strawberry to handle the Micah problem." He said with a sigh. "Didn't get got throw in Jail? I say serve him good. I don't like that creep." I said. "Yuuki right, there something about Micah that I don't like." Kirito said. "You and me both Kirito, Micah a snake in the grass, but Dutch says we will need him. Better just to get him out. Doesn't mean we can't have a little fun with him first." Arthur said with a grin.

I grin back liking that idea. "This could be fun, were in." I said. "In what?" Silica said as she came over with Pina in her arms. "Were heading to strawberry to break Micah out of jail." Kirito said. "Really, I'm come too to help." Silica said. "Well let get going, were burning day light." Arthur said as we mount our horses and ride off. A few hours later we came to the town of Strawberry. It wasn't as big as valentine but it works. "So where do we find him?" Kirito ask. "The sheriff office would be the most likely place." Arthur said as we head into the sheriff office. "Hello sir, I've er… I've come from Blackwater… I'm on the trail of a dangerous gang… Colm O'Driscoll. Heard you had some sort of incident." Arthur said. "We don't deal with bounty hunters round here, son. Most of all ones as young as them." The sheriff said looking at us. "Were new, we were ho-ping you could tell us what happen." Kirito said. "Well they weren't friends. They got in a fight… two men got killed. Now one of 'em's an idiot… the other's some kind of dumb mick… so maybe them's your boys. You can look right enough… when we hang 'em." He said.

Yeah that sound like Micah all right. "Thank you, Sheriff." Arthur said as we walk out of the sheriff office. "Sound like he was here." I said. "Let me outta here, you maggots!" We heard Micah shout from nearby. "Or still is." Kirito said as we sneak to the back of the building to find Micah at a bar window at the bottom of the building. "Hey a inmate how you doing?" I said teasing him. "Hello, old friend. Had a good time, did you?" Arthur said as he lean next to the window. "You gonna get me outta here?" Micah said. "I ain't decided yet." Arthur said. "And were not sure your worth it." Kirito said. "Real funny." Micah said annoy. "Oh, I ain't joking, cowpoke. I heard so much bluster out of your mouth these last six months… and now I got an opportunity to watch you be silenced." Arthur said. "Come on mister Arthur we can't leave him here." Silica said as Pina let out a cry. "Listen to the girl Arthur." Micah said. Really praying on Silica kindness what a jerk. "Why?" Arthur ask. "I always looked up to you, Arthur." Micah said as we roll our eyes.

"Well that's your first mistake. Listen, there's one little problem… there only a few of us and there's a whole town full of people… wanting to see you swing." Arthur said. "You gotta do something, Arthur… Maybe that steam donkey over there still works? This wall just needs some good forcing." Micah said as we turn to see an old winch near by. "We might as well get him out or we'll have to listen to Dutch complain about being a man down." Kirito said. Arthur went over to the winch and pull the cable over to the cell and hook it to the bars. He try to pull the lever but it look to be stuck. "It won't move damn it." He said. "Let me." I said as I slam my foot against the lever as the machine turn on and started to pull. We watch as it rip off a portion of the walls as it let Micah and another out of the cell. "Let's get outta here, come on." Arthur said as he hand Micah a spare gun which he use to shoot his cellmate. "Dude really!" I shout as I hug Silica to me.

"He was and O'driscoll." He said. "I should've known you were up to no good!" The sheriff said as he was shot by Micah. 'There going to be all over us." Kirito said. "We got to get out of here." Arthur said as more lawmen were showing up. Arthur and Micah took cover with Silica as me and Kirito charges at them. Kirito got close to one as he cut him down and then jump to land a kick to another chest. He then thrust his sword into a 3rd. "Jamming thunder!" Vilecemon shout as he shot the purple lighting to zap a few of them down. One try to grab at me as I got behind him and kick him in the back. "Vertical!" I shout as I slash at 3 more behind me to knock them back. One try to shoot at me as I use my sword to block the shots as I ran at him and tackle him down. Pina flew out as she shot fire to force a few back. "We need to move." Kirito said as we fall back. But we saw Micah going in another direction. "Don't go that way, let's get the hell out of here!" Arthur shout as he shot another law man.

"I got some unfinished business. Trust me, Morgan!" He said as he move for a house. "Trust him, if we end up dead Im haunting his ass." i said as I cut down a lawman. "Vi, were going to need some help here." Kirito said. "leave it to me Kirito." The purple rabbit said. "Digi-modify Digivolvtion activate!" Kirito shout.

Vielecmon digivolve to Lowemon

When Lowemon make the scene most of the lawman froze. 'What in the hell take him down." One said as try to shoot the armor warrior only for the bullets to bounce off his armor. This left many of them scare as they should be. "Shadow meteor!" Lowemon shout ass he shot his chest beam as he swung it to clear out most of them. There were still a lot of them. I saw a water tower and got an idea. "Kirito the tower!" I shout. "Got it." He said as we rush at the tower and slash at it supports causing it to fall down as water burst out of it washing the lawman down the street. We caught up to Arthur as we heard fighting in the house Micah went in follow by a gun shot. Micah soon came out with his coat and a pair of guns. "They had something of mine… my guns. Up here, come on. The law in this town's a damn joke." Micah said. "All this for your guns!" Kirito shout upset by this. "We could've been long gone but, no, you have to shoot the entire town!" Arthur said.

"You wanna get out of here, don't ya? Keep shooting!" Micah said as he started to shoot at more cops coming for us. "We need to get out of here before were over run." Lowemon said as he slam his lance into a lawman. " He right we got Micah time to bail." Kirito said. " We need a way out." I said. "Uh I might have an idea." Silica said as she look at Pina. "Pina it time Megamorph!" She shout. "Mega what?" I ask. I got my answer when Pina started to glow as she was suddenly the size as a wagon. Silica move to get on her Pina back as the feather dragon glare at the lawman. "Monster!" One shout. Pina let out a roar as she shot flames forcing them to run. Micah started to laugh. 'Who would have thought the runt and her lizard could pull this off." he said. "Laugh later there the horses let go." Arthur said as Lowemon and Pina turn back to normal. We got on the horse and rode out of town in a hurry. "That was some good shooting, Morgan. I gotta hand it to you. You kids did good too." Micah said.

"What the hell was that you pulled back there?" Arthur ask as we glare at Micah. "Got a bit wild alright." Micah said. "Wild my ass, if we left the moment we bust you out a lot of less people would have died!" Kirito shout. "Ain't much I care about more than those guns." Micah said. 'We notice, so who was the guy you killed for them?" I ask. "Skinny? Yeah, we ran together for a while. Did a bank job down south, didn't end well. He was gonna let me hang." Micah said. "I'm starting to wish I had… and you owe Lenny, too. If he hadn't found us in time…" Arthur said. "Yes, you will all be thanked profusely, I promise." Micah said. "You owe us too bucko." I said. "You're lucky Dutch has got your back, for some unknown reason." Arthur said. "I think we finally lost 'em." Micah said as we came to a place to stop. "I'm giving you a holster… my way of saying thank you." Micah said as he hand the holster to Arthur. "And thank you… there I was having a dull day only for you… to liven it up by letting us help you shoot up half a town." Arthur said with sarcasm in his voice.

"You're a funny feller, Arthur. Real funny. Why you act all sour all the time?" Micah ask. Arthur chuckles. "Yeah, well, you ain't funny at all… so why you gotta act like the court jester?" rather said. "Alright, listen… I'm sorry, but we're family now, Arthur. You and me… sons of Dutch. Makes us brothers… and sometimes brothers make mistakes. Now, I'm heading back to my little camp round back of Strawberry… come see me, maybe I can make things up to you?" Micah said. 'Your not coming back?" Kirito ask. "Nope I been a bad boy kid, better to make a peace offering to Dutch first. See ya around." Micah said as he rode off. I let out a breath of relief. 'Man today was a pain." I said as I lean on my horse neck. "Tell me about it, we should get back to camp." Kirito said. "Best idea I heard all day." Arthur said as we got moving as we head back to camp.

Yui: After saving mister Micah, it was time to find the missing member of the gang Sean. Next time on Swordmen of the west: Chapter 13: The first shall be last. Ok let do this.

And that is it for the chapter folks. We have saved Micah, oh joy. I never did like him but it was for the sake of the story. What you thought of Pina new skill I got the idea from watching this Anime call Bofuri. It a riot I tell you. Next time were off to save Sean. Stay tune to find out what happen next.
