Last time on Swordmen of the west: The gang were taking it easy as Arthur thought it was time to bust Micah out of jail as the gang thought it was a bad idea on the count they don't trust Micah. They head to Strawberry to find Micah in the jail a she beg to be saved. The gang broke him out as it result in a shoot out in town. The local lawman were ont hem as they try to fight their way out. But things get worst as Micah decided to make a house call to get back his guns and some pay back. The gang were able to escape thanks to Sillica and Pina megamorph skill. Micah decided to aly low until he can make things up for causing this mess as the others return to camp.

Chapter 13

The first shall be last

Kirito Pov: it been a couple of days since we help Micah out. But it was a total mess as we had to shoot up a town just to get him out. Asuna was not happy about that one bit. Micah said he going to stay away until he have something to offer Dutch to show how much worth. At least having him gone will put us at easy for the time being since we don't trust him one bit. There no been no sign of Death gun or need to be careful to face what ever they have plan for us. Right now my group were dropping off some deers we hunted to fill up the camp food supplies. "Here you go Pearson." I said as Me and Yuuki drop off the bodies. "Good work kids this will help keep us fed for some time." He said. "We all got to do our part for the gang." Sinon said. "It sad we have to kill them." Yui said. "True sweetie but it the way the world works." Asuna said sadly. "Any way we need to do what we can to survive in this world until we take down Death gun." I said. "If we can find him." Lizbeth said.

"She got a point, you guys told me about him and that he trouble. But there been word about this guy or the Arrancar that attack us." Euego said. "True, and question are Sachi could not be the only Arrancar we could run into." Sinon said. "Your telling me, seeing Sachi again was a shock to me. We need to becareful." I said. "Kirito will you be able to fight her?" Asuan ask as I look at her. She look worry. "I mean she was once your guildmate wasn't she?" She ask. I grab Asuna shoulders. "I'll be alright, I already came to terms there no avoiding facing her again Asuna. We saw she didn't wanted to fight us." I said. "That right, Sachi said her boss is forcing ehr to attack us. We just need to take him out." Yuuki said. 'But the question is who. It can't be death gun, he never die in our world or at least last we check." Sinon said. "Which means the one who send Sachi have to be a Spiritual being. A stronger Arrancar perhaps. But most Arrancar now follow the Arrancar queen." Eugeo said.

"Arrancar queen?" I ask. "Yes after the winter war the remaining Arrancars who survives swear loyal to a member to the Espadas the 10 strongest Arrancars." Euego said. "Esapda that the group Ulquiorrra was a part of." Asuna said. 'yes he was the former 4th. The former 3rd Espada Tier Harriebel became the new ruler of Huneco mundo." Euego said. "What about the top two?" Lizbeth. 'I wasn't part of the war, but I heard that the former 2nd was killed by the captain of squad 2 Soi fon and one of the vizords. The 1st espadas didn't want the job. Aside from them the only other left is the former 6th. The rest were kill during the war." Eugeo said. "So a new arrancar is trying to take over?" I ask. "there been reports of changes in spiritual readings coming from Hunceo mundo of late but nothing that show any threat." Euego said. "We should talk to Urahara about this when we get back home." Vielecmon said. "Good idea, if anyone should know it him." I said.

We soon see Arthur walking to us. "You lot free, I'm heading over to Black water to check out the Sean situation." He said. "So were finally going to check it out huh?" I ask. 'Yes we are, we need to make sure if we can get him out and in one piece." Arthur said. "You sure this is a good idea, no offense Arthur but your friend could have rat you out while he was caught." Lizbeth said. "True, most cases when a person is caught they would sell out their own in order to cut a deal." Sinon said. "True, but Sean isn't a rat like Micah. He know when to keep his mouth stud." Arthur said. "Either way if he in trouble we better help him." I said. 'Yuuki you mind staying here with Yui and Silica?" Asuna ask. "Sure thing sis." Yuuki said with a statue. "Let get moving we have a long ride a head of us." Arthur said as we mount our horses and rode out of camp. We travel for a few hours to cross into Blackwater as we found Charles and Javier camp out on a ridge. They were looking down at a group of men.

"Hey guys sorry were late." I said we got to avoid being spotted. "Glad you made it." Charles said. "Where is that little Irish bastard?" Arthur ask. "I'm not quite sure. Trelawny's off trying to find out." Charles said. "Let hope he find him, just being here is risky." Sinon said. "Has anyone been into Blackwater to see how things lie?" Arthur ask. "Place is crawling with Pinkertons… bounty hunters… pictures of Dutch and Hosea." Javier said concern. "We got a lot of money sitting in that town." Arthur said. "Forget the money we should be more worry about helping your friend." Asuna said. "Why haven't they hanged Sean, I wonder?" Arthur as he look through his binoculars. "Bait most likely, to take out any group of crooks, you take out the head. They most likely want Dutch." Sinon said. "And are using Sean to lure him out." I said. That when Josiah rode up to us. "Gentlemen and ladies. Sean is being moved up the Upper Montana… then to a federal prison out west." Josiah said. "Well, we can't be rescuing people from some federal prison. We either rescue him now or… cut him loose." Arthur said.

"We are not cutting anyone loose Arthur we don't abandon our allies." I said. "Agree, we will save him." Vielecmon said. "So what is our plan?" Lizbeth ask. "Ike Skelding's boys are moving him to a camp nearby… before handing him over to the government." Josiah said. "So, I guess… we need to stop them before they get to camp. Charles, miss Sinon and miss Lizbeth why don't you head up on the north side… and then we'll head up on the other side of the valley and meet you." Arthur said. "Then the rest of us can follow on the other side." I said. "You know, Arthur… the government or people whom the government like, seem to be very angry." Josiah said. "Sure, well… we'll rescue Sean and then we'll get ourselves lost, good and proper. It's a big country." Arthur said. 'Either way we need to be careful." Asuna said as we got on our horses as we follow the river. "Keep your eyes open for Pinkertons. They've got patrols out all over this area." Josiah said. " The last thing we need is the police getting us." Syakomon said.

"Yes, south of the river West Elizabeth isn't a very welcoming place right now." Josiah said. 'Down there is that them?" I ask as we saw a small boat on the river. "Most likely." Arthur said. "Alright, gentlemen. Follow me. We'll follow them, nice and easy. Let's make sure it's him first before you go starting another war." Josiah said. "You think they can see us?" Arthur ask. "If they do they will likely think were just travelers so act natural." Josiah said. "So you've been gone for a while?" Arthur ask. "Much as I love dodging the law and sleeping in the dirt with you derelicts, I do have other business to attend to." Josiah said. "What happened to New York?" Arthur ask. "You know how life is, never a straight road anywhere." Josiah said. "Especially with you." Arthur said. 'Nice to know I'm missed, though. Have you run out of people to rob?" Josiah said. 'Doesn't appears like that to me." Asuna said as she gave me a look to due to the recent trouble I got involve in.

"But without me you'll not find the caliber of victim that I find. Come on, let's keep them in sight." Josiah said as we continue to follow the boat. I notice that Javier look very annoy at Josiah. "You alright Javier?" I ask. "He hasn't stopped talking since we left you in Valentine. It's the longest ride of my life." He said. "Cute, dear boy, very cute… Apparently, there's a camp somewhere around here where the bounty hunters meet and transfer before continuing out west. I imagine that's where they're headed…" Josiah said. "Look they are stopping." Asuna said as the boat stop at a shore. Arthur got out his binoculars as I did the same as we look at them. "So who are these bounty hunters?" Javier ask. "Don't know too much about Ike Skelding's boys, but I hear they're a big crew and wild. Built some reputation in the last year or two." Arthur said as the bounty hunters drop someone onto the drop. The man was bound by rope and had a bag over his head.

"Is that him?" I ask. "Certainly kicking up enough of a fuss. Yep, that's definitely Sean." Arthur said. "Their kicking him alright." Syakomon said as we watch the men beat Seam senseless. "Well, you can only imagine the shit he's been giving them." Arthur said. "They are taking him up the canyon." Josiah said as we see the bounty hunters dragging Sean into the canyon. "There Sinon and the others." Asuna said. "Let go." I said. "What about the other two down there?" Javier ask. "Leave it to me, gentlemen. I'll go around and create a distraction, then you sneak up on them and give them the dirty." Josiah said as he rode down to the river to distracts the men. Once he had their attention Arthur and Javier creep up on them and cut their throats with their knives. "Were clear." I said. "Come on. Let's get up there." Javier said as we head up into the canyon. We saw man blocking the way. "Were going to have to take them out." Javier said. I look to Asuna as she nod to me. "Digi-modify Digivolvtion activate!" We shout.

The light cause from the digivolvtion got the men attention as we rush at them. "Sonic leap!" I shout as I jump and ran my sword through one chest. "Shadow meteor!" Lowemon shout as he shot as shadow blast at a rock a wall causing rocks to fall onto a few of them. "Diagonal sting!" Asuna shout as she thrust her sword into one to use as a shield as she push up the hill to strike at another. "You lot copuld use a drink Draining rain!" Ranamon shout as the storm clouds form to dump water onto them Arthur use a rifle to quickly shoot down several of them. Javier was able to gun down 3 of them on the ridge above us. Another was about to shoot when Charles tackle him off. Lizbeth swung her mace to get one in the back making him fall down the canyon walls. Sinon found a perch a she was sniping them down. "Rikoho!" Euego shout as he shot the burst of lighting to blast several of them back. "Their camp's up this way, come on." Charles said as we got out of the canyon and found their camp.

More of them came out as we quickly took cover. I pull out my revolver as Asuna did the same as we started to shoot back. "I swear this make me feel like were back in gun gale." She said. 'Where Silica with a gattling gun when you need her." I said with a joke. "Goddamn army of these bastards. How much is Sean's bounty?" Arthur ask as he keep shooting. "Maybe we should turn him in ourselves." Charles said. "One on the tower!" Javier shout. 'Got him!" Sinon shout as she head shot the gunman on the tower causing him to fall off. "Ranamon finish them off in one shot!" Asuna shout. 'With pleasure sugah Whipping waves!" She shout as water shot up the canyon as it slam into the remaining bounty hunters taking them away. "Damn remind me not to piss her off." Javier said in shock. "That you don't." I said. 'That look to be the last of them guys." Euego said as we head to Sean as he was hanging from a tree by his ankles. "Someone cut this rope, my head's killing me." He said as Euego cut him loose as he hit the ground.

": Do I get a hug, Arthur? A warm embrace for a lost brother, now found?": Sean said a she try to hug Arthur and was stove back. "You know… nothing means more to me than this gang. The bond we share… it's the most real thing to me. I would kill for it, I would happily die for it… but in spite of all that… I would have easily left you here to rot… If Charles hadn't stopped me." Arthur said. "I don't believe a word of that, Arthur." Sean said. "He wasn't so keen on finding you." I said. "Who the new blood?" Sean ask. "The guys who save your ass." Lizbeth said. "You have my thanks lassies how about we go get a drink." Sean said as Arthur stove him off. "Get him out of here." Arthur said. 'It better we leave in groups to avoid getting spotted." Sinon said. 'Good idea we'll see you all back at camp." I said as my group mount up and rode away. 'Well that was exciting, is it always hecked with your group Kirito?" Euego ask. "Pretty much wait till were back on remnant." I said as we continue to ride back to camp.
