Last time on Swordmen of the west: The gang were finishing off a group of Hollows as they were starting to appear more offen. They were worry about what was happening as they have no clue to who is sending them or how this ties into Death gun. They return to camp as Arthur ask them to help him with Micah. Micah wanted them to join him to rob a stagecoach. They were able to get the coach as they were attack by a group of bandits. But it got worst when Kuradeel the laughing coffin member Kirito killed back in SAO appear as a Arrancar no less. After releasing his Ressureccion Kuradeel prove to be powerful. But in the end he was defeated as he reveals he work for someone call the Hazardous one. Who is this Hazardrous one and what does he want?

Chapter 16

Encounter

Kirito Pov: It been a few days since we help Micah with his job and our run in with Kuradeel. To think that bastard would show up and as a freaking Arrancar like Sachi. He was tough to face that for sure. The power of his Ressurreccion was intense. I hate to think what would happen if Sachi releases her s on us. What more before he died Kuradeel told us he work for some one calling them selves the hazardous one. Whoever this guy id he trouble, just who is he why does he want our D-arcs and how does Death gun fit into this? Theses are the question that weight on my mind at the moment. Right now I was training with my swords as Yui and Bosamon were watching me. Training always help me to take my mind off things. "You ok Daddy?" Yui ask as I lower my weapons. "Yeah just got a lot on my mind."" I said. "Your trouble by recent events." Bosamon said from Yui lap. "You can say that, we have our share of trouble lately. The man we fought try to hurt me and your mom in the past." I said.

"Kuradeel, he was the laughing coffin spy who infiltrated the knight of the blood oath and who try to kill you." Yui said. I chuckles. I forgets she use to be an AI. "Yeah, it was surprising to think he would come back like Sachi." I said. "Things stop being simple for us a long time ago Kirito." Sinon said as she came over to us. "I mean look at us were in the form of our avatar, hell I'm part cat now." She said. "Hey that was your choice, I say it a good look for you." I said with a smirk. "Watch, you know how Jealous Asuna will get." She said. "Uh huh mommy will get mad." Yui said. "True, but she is with the other in town today so I think were good." I said with a joke. We look over to see Arthur talking with Abigail. "Hey, Arthur. Come here a minute." Abigail said calling him over. "What is it?" He ask. "Can I ask you a favor?" She ask. "Probably not…" Arthur said. She gave him a dead pan look. "Very funny. Would you do something with Jack? He seems kind of down. All this upheaval can't have been easy on the poor kid." Abigail said.

"Is she really asking him to look after her kid?" Sinon ask. "Let watch and see." I said. "Why? Because I'm your preferred nursemaid?" Arthur ask. "Because he likes you and, well… you know his father's useless." Abigail said. "You got a point there, alright." Arthur said. "Thank you." Abigail said as she walk away. We head over to Arthur. 'So she want you to look after her son?" I ask. 'Appears so, it shouldn't be a problem for me." He said. "In that case will help out too, it be nice to relax for a while." Is aid. "So what the plan?" Yui ask. "I was thinking I could take him to go fishing.' Arthur said. "Not a bad idea." I said as we head over to Jack. "What you up to?" Arthur ask the younger boy. "Playing." Jack said. "Anything fun?" Arthur ask. "I guess…" Jack said. "You wanna come fishing with us?" Arthur ask. "Fishing?" Jack said as he look up at us. "Sure. You're… It's about time that you started to earn your keep." Arthur said. 'And it going to be really fun." Yui said.

"Okay." Jack said a she got up. "Good. Let's go get your pole then. Now you do have a fishing pole, don't you?" Arthur said. "I sure do. Uncle Hosea made me one." Jack said. "he made a couple for us too." I said. "Good. Well let's go get it then. And go catch us some fish!" Arthur said as we head to the horses. I help Yui onto my and put her in my lap. "Alright, let's go then." Arthur said as we got moving. "So where are we going?" Jack ask. "Just down to the river near here. We shouldn't go too far from camp." Arthur said. 'It a decent spot, and were near camp in case anything happens." Sinon said. "You feeling better? I know you was a little sick." Arthur said. "Oh, I'm fine thanks to miss Asuna." Jacks aid. "Yep my mommy can make anyone better." Yui said. "That she does." I said. 'Didn't she said she was trying to train to be a doctor?" Sinon said. "Yeah, she was talking with Jude mom about it. I think it will be a good thing for her." I said. Knowing my wife like to help people.

"When are we going back to the other camp?" Jack ask suddenly. "The one near Blackwater? Well… we're not. This is our spot… for now, anyway. Why? Alright, this looks as good a spot as any." Arthur said as we got to the river and dismount to get ready to fish. "Where should we stand, Uncle Arthur?" Jack ask. "Down by the shore. Come on, follow me." Arthur said as we move to the shore. I was helping Yui get set up. 'Ok Yui just like I show you." I said. She nods as she whip her pole and send the line into the water. "I did it." She said. "That my girl. " I said with a smile. 'Didn't really take you for a fisherman." Sinon said as she cast her line out. "I did a lot of fishing in SAO, there was this one time when I caught this fish monster and drag it to shore. Joke on me because It have leg and went on a rampage. Lucky Asuna was there to take it out. Man that was one heck of a day." I said looking back on the memory. "I bet it was, SAO is a lot different from Gun gale." She said.

"I know, the others taken to it quite well, but still, was it a good idea to let Silica to man the gattling gun?" I ask. Sinon let out a giggle. "Well she said she wanted to help, and the look on the enemy faces was priceless when she gun them down." She said. Now that was funny. "Oh I got something." Yui said as she was struggling with her pole. "Ok stay calm, move the pole to tire him out." I said as she nod and move the pole to drag the line. She started to reel it in. She let out a cry as she pull it back and there was a large fish on the hook. "Way to go Yui." Sinon said as Yui giggles. 'I caught a big one." She said with pride. "That you did." I said. 'Look like your all doing well." Arthur said. "Yeah at this rate we'll have plenty to eat tonight." I said. We soon heard the sound of horses as we saw two men riding to us. They were wearing black suits and hats, the kind of govenerment agents of this time will wear. 'Kirito.": Sinon whisper to me. "I know, be ready for a fight." I said as the men stop and got off their horses.

"What a fine young man… and in such complex circumstances. Arthur, isn't it? Arthur Morgan?" He said. He know about Arthur, this is going to be trouble that for sure. "The man said. "Who are you?" Arthur ask as we move the kids behind us. "Yes, Arthur Morgan… Van der Linde's most trusted associate. You've read the files, typical case… orphaned street kid seduced by that maniac's silver tongue… and matures into a degenerate murderer. Agent Milton." The man said as he pointed at him self. He then gesture to his partner. "Agent Ross. Pinkerton Detective Agency… seconded to the United States Government. Nice to finally meet. We know a lot about you." he said as he then look at us. "And there you Kazuto Kirigaya or do you perhaps prefer your Alias Kirito the black swordsman. And let not forget miss Shino Asada better know as the Azure sniper Sinon." Milton said surprising us. "How do you know that no one here show know us." Sinon said. We soon heard a click from behind us.

"Why from me of course." A hollow voice said behind us. That voice. I turn my head to see a man behind us. His chest and arms were cover in bandages as he wore black pants and boots. He have a black coat and hood and a metal skull like mask on his face with red glowing eyes. "Death gun, or is it Red eye Zaza it hard to tell with you." I said. He shrug his shoulder. 'I'm fine with either, it nice to see you again Kirito, you too Sinon. I see you were able to get away from my brother." Death gun said as he found him self staring down the barrel of Sinon rifle. "Thanks for showing up Death gun now I can blow your head off." She said with venom in her voice. Death gun hand whip out as he short blade was pointed at Yui neck as she froze in fear. 'now now let now cause a scene, I doubt Kirito want his brat to lose her pretty little head." He said. "You bastard." I said as My hand rest on my sword handle as I was ready to cut him down. 'Alright mister Zaza you prove your point, were not here to fight today simply to say hello." Milton said.

"Of course." Death gun said as he lower his weapons as he walk over to join the agents. Milton look to Arthur. "You're a wanted man, Mr. Morgan. There's five thousand dollars for your head alone. The SAO gang is almost as high as yours." Milton said. "Five thousand dollars? Can I turn myself in?" Arthur said joking. "We want Van der Linde." Milton said. 'As for my self, I want the D-arcs things you brats have, my employers have a need of them." Death gun said. "Employer?" Sinon ask. 'That right, you all ready meet a few of my helpers." Death gun said. 'The arrancars. so your working for this Hazardous one just who is he." I said. "No spoiler's." He said mocking me. "Old Dutch? I haven't seen him for months." Arthur said. "Because I heard… a guy fitting his description robbed a train… belonging to Leviticus Cornwall up near Granite Pass." Milton said. So they been onto us since then. "Oh, ain't that a little… old fashioned nowadays?" Arthur said. "Apparently not. Listen… this is my offer, Mr. Morgan… bring in Van der Linde… and you have my word, you won't swing." Milton said.

"Like that going to happen." I said. "You see, I haven't done anything wrong… aside from not play the games to your rules." Arhtur said. "Spare me the philosophy lesson… I've already heard it… from Mac Callander." Milton said with a smirk. "Mac?" I ask. If I remember right, he was a member of the gang that went missing when the heist in black water went down. "He was pretty shot up by the time I got to him… so really it was more of a mercy killing. Slow… but merciful." Milton said. Arthur threw his rifle down in anger as death gun aim at him. "Now now why don't you relax." Death gun said. "You enjoy being a rich man's toy do you?" Arthur said. "I enjoy society… flaws and all. You people venerate savagery… and you will die… savagely. All of you." Milton said. "Oh, we're all gonna die, Agent. Some of us sooner than others." Arthur said. "Good day, Mr. Morgan." Milton said as they turn to leave. "Your just going to run Zaza? Let finish this here and now!" I shout. Death gun stop as he let out a chuckle. 'Oh don't worry, our time to play will come. Just be patient." he said as they walk away.

"Who are they?" Jack ask. "No one to worry about… no one at all. Come on, let's pick up your things and get home. It's getting late Jack, your mother will be worried. Let's head back." Arthur said. "Right we need to tell the others." Is aid as we got back on our horsese to ride back to camp. "Why did you lie about where Uncle Dutch is?" Jack ask. "Because… well because those are disagreeable men and I don't want them to hurt him." Arthur said. "Yeah, were just trying to keep Dutch safe." Sinon said. "To think that Death gun is working with the pinkerton but why?" I ask. "Most likely to track us down, we been causing a lot of trouble with the gang." Sinon said. "But now we can confirm he \is working with this Hazardous one." Vielecmon said. "What did they mean about Mac? Is he in jail?" Jack ask. "No. I don't, err, think so… I hope he's just fine where he is. Like I said, don't worry about them. World is full of disagreeable men… that's why you got all of us. To protect you from folk like them. Now how about that necklace you made… you still got it right?" Arthur said trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I got it." Jack said. "Good. So did you like fishing?" Arthur said. "It was… okay. I think… It's a lot of waiting around." Jack said. "But fun." Yui said. "That it was." I said. Just wish it didn't end like that. We soon came back to camp. "Hey guys how was the trip." Asuna ask. "It was fun mommy." Yui said as she ran to Asuna. "But we had some trouble, Asuna he was there Death gun." I said. "What, are you sure?" She ask worry. "He was what more he working with the pinkertons, we need to tell Dutch." Sinon said as we head to Dutch tent. "We got a problem." Arthur said as Dutch look at us. 'What?" He ask. We were just at the river, where we met some guys, an agent Milton some other guy and the fellow the kids were looking for Death gun he call himself." Arthur said. "And?' Dutch ask. "And… they are employees of the Pinkerton Detective Agency…. and they know about the train… and they know we're here." Arthur said. Dutch got to his feet. "Were you followed back here?" He ask. "No we made sure to cover our tracks." Sinon said.

"No… they know we're near here… and they want you, Dutch. They offered me my freedom in exchange they did." Arthur said. "Why didn't you take it?" Dutch said. "Huh, very funny… Well what do we do now?" Arthur said. "I say we do nothing. just yet. They're just trying to scare us… into doing something stupid. We have turned a corner… we survived them mountains. We just need to stay calm." Dutch said. 'He right we need to plan out our next move carefully." I said as me and Sinon move away. 'So what the plan?' She ask. 'We wait and see what happens, tell the others to be on guard." I said as she nods and walk away. Death gun, I will stop you no matter.

Eugeo: After the gang encounter at the lake, we set out to make some money but run into some major trouble. Next time on Swordmen of the west: Chapter 17: Sheep and goats. How in the hell did this happen?
