Part 1 - 20 Years Ago
Bella sat in her and Clay's living room, watching their 3 children talking and playing around the room, as her thoughts went back to the faithful day of her starting her new life without the Cullens, her overbearing parents and parents who wanted different things for her to do, happen etc in her life that day she chose herself for once and got out of there before being forced into something she defiantly didn't want to have in her life.
For unlike her overbearing, rather childish parents, she wanted to do good in life, she wanted to find love on her own and most of all, she didn't want to go to Florida with her childish mother nor to stay put with her father who held no secret of wanting her with Jacob Black, a young boy from La Push reservation, whom she viewed as a child and a stalker of hers.
As he would stalk and follow her whereever she went on the reservation when there with her father.
And her father held no secrets of wanting to have said boy as his son-in-law to call him one day father or dad even, it grossed Bella out like nothing else, and the day she made the choice to leave, was the same day she graduated from High School in Forks.
Her mother and her new husband of 2 years at this time, Phil Dwyer came to see it all, and Charlie was pouting at the sight of Renée's clear happiness of a new, better (in Charlie's childish mind) man in her life.
And he was all alone and single, hoping for Renee to come back to him instead, but no such luck for the forever bacholer man he was to that day.
After graduation ceremony that was held in the aula of Forks High, she was brought home by Charlie, Renee and Phil; William or Billy and his young son, Jacob followed after them with their own car to Charlie's place.
Bella felt uncomfortable the whole way home, because when they got home, and she got out of her graduation clothes and other stuff, she would reveal to them all her plans for college.
And it would not be fun to do or say, but it was necessary for them all to hear, for she had own plans for her future from now on and frankly they had to fucking accept it for in a week's time she was leaving for good to get to her college for the next 4 years of her new life away from everyone and everything.
As soon they pulled up at Charlie's, Bella got out of the car and all but ran inside, and up the familiar stairs to her bedroom, and shut the door, she stood there by her now locked door with her backa against it, and breathe a few calming breaths, before she got the gown, the dress underneath and the shoes off herself, and back into her more comfy clothes, which was her favorite holey jeans, an over-sized t-shirt and her favorite sneakers that was on verge to be torn apart, she would need to get new ones in the new city, when she got to her college later that week.
Her parents, Phil and the two Black's watched her run inside with some frowns on their faces, wondering what was all that about, but figured maybe she needed to go to the bathroom or something like it. So they all gathered up in the living room of her father's house. Renee sat with Phil, while Charlie in the decliner and the two Black son and father duo sat on another couch. It did make Renee frown, and wanted to ask why and what they too were doing here, but before she could, Bella came in the room, and now in very different clothes. It made Renee frown at her choice of attire instead what she had underneath the gown, and she said
"Not having the dress still, Bells?" Bella shook her head and said
"It was just for the ceremony and the photos that was necessary to be taken, Mom. I never wear those kinds of clothes as I hate to wear those things anyways. It make me feel so out of place and not myself."
Most of them frowned but said nothing, as Bella said
"I thought this was for family only after, dad. SO why are Jacob and his father here today?"
Her father frowned before saying
"Well they are family to me, Bells."
"Not to me, but they can stay now that they are here for you, Dad."
At that they all frowned at her tone of anger was present, and wondered why she was so mad at this point, but before they could say, Bella decided to get it out of her before anyone of them could ask her about what is next in her future now;
"Well the reason I wanted you all here, is for I made my plans clear on my future, for last week I got an acceptance letter to a college, that I applied to, and I got accepted in."
"WHAT WHERE, WHEN?!" They all yelled as Jacob pouted at this point and had his arms across his chest, as Bella said
"I got into a college that is in South Dakota. South Dakota University to be exact."
At that all of them screamed out no, why, what how when and Bella had no choice to give out a very loud, painful whistle.
"I chose for myself, for I am 18 now, mom, dad, therefore I can choose what I want to do with my life, and I want to continue onto college, as it is a dream of mine, and also my plans for majoring in Creative Writing and Native American History. For I learned that we have some Native roots in us, Mom, Dad. And I learned that part of us came from South Dakota. I have already contacted the said tribe, and they have been very welcoming in their letters back to me, after I revealed who I am descendent of, and they want to meet me in person when I get there in a week's time, when I leave for college aswell."
At that they all broke out in louder conversation, and Billy now said angrily
"What about my son, Bella?!" Bella sighed before she gave an angry glare at this, and said
"Your son and I never will date or be together, so take those pipedreams that you and my own father has for us two to be together, shove them somewhere the sun won't ever shine, for he and I will never work nor do I even like or love him in that way. All I can see of him is a stalker and love-sick puppy dog whenever he would follow me around. Besides I want to find love on my own, without help of others. For I am a capable human being and a person, not a thing or toy to play around with its emotions, for I am more than capable to feel my own feelings and emotions around peoples, and right now you make me sick. I won't ever be Jacob's nomatter what you or my father wants it to be like that."
With that she gave the said boy a hateful glare and took back off upstairs as the others was calling for her to get back there and talk some more about this, but she ignored them all, and got back into her bedroom, locking the door and pulling her newly bought curtains before her windows, and laid down onto her bed. Before getting back up onto her feet, and pulled out her suitcases that she also bought the day she bought the curtains for her room.
She packed everything she could in them, as the last things would be both in her car and her backpack and handbags, as she was going to drive with her newly bought car, a sweet white Audi, to her college in a week's time. She just couldn't wait to go, and be gone for a long time from Forks, her parents and those Black's. She hated Jacob Black with passion after an incident last week, when he tried to force himself onto her by trying to kiss her, but her knee met his jewels and when he noticed and jumped around, she gave him a slap across his face a very hard one.
It almost broke her hand, therefore she had her hand in a brace for now. She couldn't wait for it get off and she could start use it again.
********Back to Normal time******
Clay smiled as he saw her coming back from whatever she was thinking on, and he gave her a kiss, as he said
"Thinking back on the day you left Forks?" Bella nodded in the sweet, passionate kiss with Clay, and said
"The day I told my parents, him and his father about my plans."
He chuckled, as he said
"In a week you get to see them again, what will you do then?"
"Well show them how happy I am with you, Clay. For you are my life and choice in everything."
At that he grinned and kissed her again, as they heard their young children say eww, and it made Clay get up and run after their screaming/laughing chasing each other. Bella laughing as he did so with their children around the house. Like she said, she couldn't wait to see her parents and others' reaction on what has happened in her life since 20 years ago. And who she is actually married to this day too.
