Three months have passed since Izuku began his training. It had been three months of absolute grueling hell for the young man. The workouts, the sleeping, and even eating had to be done exactly as written by All Might. He went to the beach everyday so far, not missing a single day so he can keep to his routine. His mother had questioned him at first when she noticed he was always coming home sweaty, not eating her katsudon, and going to sleep early and waking up around the same time she did for work. He told her that he was training for the U.A entrance exam and told her not to be worried. She just smiled and hugged him while calling him her "Little Hero".
I love her so much. She gives me strength beyond anything.
He had also started visiting the flower shop more often; helping out and telling stories to Kauri.
That little girl… She is precious to me… I wish that she was my actual sister. Her along with my mom are my pillars.
Izuku is currently on a run back to his house after a hard day of moving trash. Much to his surprise, he's actually done a good amount of progress. If he keeps this up he should finish it in six to seven months. He's also gained some muscle on his previously lanky body. Sure it isn't that much, but the changes mean a lot since it shows his progress.
He reaches his apartment and walks in. He is greeted by the smell of his mother's cooking. After explaining his meal schedule, she has taken to making the food for him in stride. Sure, he misses her katsudon that she makes, but some sacrifices had to be made.
"Izuku! You're back, sweetie! How was today?" His mother says, smiling at him.
He smiles back at her, panting as he sits down at the table. "It was a normal day, mom. What's for dinner? It smells great!"
"Oh! Don't you remember? It's steak day! And don't you worry, I didn't forget the rice like last time."
Izuku's smile grows larger. If anything, steak has become his new katsudon. Any food made by his mother is always good for him, but there are some things that she makes that are just better than the rest.
"Mom?" Izuku suddenly says. "What do you think of me training?"
She looks back to him and stares at him for a few seconds before turning back to her cooking and then responds. "It's changed you in a good way, Izuku. Working out is always healthy and good for people! I was surprised when you suddenly started doing this, especially since you have shown me how detailed that plan of yours is. It's so detailed down to a sleeping schedule. It's clearly been working too! You look so handsome!"
He blushes at her last comment. "I feel like it has improved my life. I feel healthier and stronger too. I feel like I actually have a chance of becoming a hero now."
'Mom? Can I be a hero?'
A little Izuku is looking up to his mother with tears in his eyes.
She kneels down and hugs him tightly while rubbing his back.
'Izuku…'
She doesn't know, but she can hope and pray that life will be good to him.
It falls on deaf ears.
After he says that no one says anything until his mother speaks up. "Oh, I just remembered! Kauri is coming here tomorrow with her mother, remember?"
He smiles at the thought of seeing Kauri again.
He may not show the pain that courses through him as he takes each step, but he certainly feels it. Katsumi's beating was harsher than normal that day and the fact that he can't go home immediately doesn't make it any better.
It was mother's day and he wanted to surprise his mother. He ran into Kacchan on the way there and she did her normal greeting of beating him.
As he walks into the flower shop, he immediately starts looking around for some flowers for her. He wants it to be special.
As he is looking around at some rather strange-looking flowers, he sees a little girl looking at him between the shelves. Her eyes widen as she sees him looking back at her and then tries to scurry off to somewhere before slipping and falling on her knee.
His own eyes widen at the sound of her fall and he walks cautiously to her.
He finds her sitting in a corner, holding her knee and tears falling down her face.
He slowly walks up to her and kneels down. He pulls out a bandaid from a pocket on his jacket.
'Could you move your hands?' He asks.
She nods and moves her hand. He puts on the bandaid and then helps her up.
She looks up at him with wide eyes.
'Are your eyes Amethysts?' She asks in a tiny voice.
Izuku's fingers drift under his eye.
'I just learned that word in school. Your eyes have the same color as them.' She explains quietly.
This girl…
Shes…
'Adorable…' He says quietly.
She looks up at him, her eyes wide and cute.
He puts a hand on her head and rubs it.
'What's your name?' Izuku asks.
She stares at him for a moment before responding.
'Kauri…' She says quietly again, her eyes looking down at her feet. Izuku can see her cheeks redden.
'Well Kauri-san, do you want to hear a story?' He asks.
Her head shoots up, her eyes filled with wonder. Though as soon as it appeared, it become muted as she put her little hand to her chin as she pondered his offer.
She makes up her mind a few short moments later. 'Only if you don't call me 'Kauri-san' and I get to call you Amethyst-nii!'
Adorable…
'Alright then, it's a deal.'
That was the day Izuku Midoriya had gained an 'unofficial' little sister.
Such a sweet little girl…
Izuku smiles at the memory. He had visited that shop constantly just to see his little sister. She was like a light in a world of darkness at times.
The day moves by and soon he is heading to bed for the night, as he goes to sleep he dreams of something different.
Something…
More…
Fire, Fire everywhere.
Izuku looks around and realizes that he is in his appartment. This is nothing like any of the dreams he has ever had.
Everything is on fire.
Izuku can't move, but can only look as he stands still as the fire rages around him.
Izuku doesn't even notice the whispering around him is there, not until it starts getting louder and louder.
It gets so loud that it feels like it is shaking reality itself. Izuku can't understand anything that is being said. It's like being in a crowd of people. A crowd of really loud people.
It's getting louder and louder.

Izuku wakes up in a panic. His body was covered in sweat and his heart was racing. He puts a hand on his chest and starts to try and control his breathing to calm himself.
What was that dream? I've never had a dream like that before. It felt like a psyker dream but different.
That dream… I don't like it, or what it could mean.
His breathing slows down, as does his heart. He slowly starts calming down, but those few moments after he woke up were unlike anything. Sure, he has had some pretty bad dreams, weird dreams, absolutely nonsensical dreams that are caused by Psyker (He thinks anyway), but that dream was unlike anything.
It was so clear and vivid. I also understood what the voices were saying. That has never happened before. I mean, sure sometimes they say something I can understand, but usually, they all say it all at once and near the dream. Other than that, it's gibberish and incomprehensible but as the whispers turned to yelling, I could understand what they were all saying.
They sounded so angry… So so angry… A rage unlike anything…
The apartment was on fire… why? Why was it on fire?
Why…? Why…?
WHY WHY WHY
Izuku realizes that he is starting to panic again and does his breathing. After a bit, he looks at a clock and realizes that it's already morning.
Oh, and that his little sister is coming today.
With that thought, all his worries seem to vanish.
He gets out of his bed, now fully ready for the day. He showers, brushes his teeth (and flosses, don't forget the flossing.), and get's dressed.
His mother is already out in the kitchen, cooking up food for later.
She looks at him as he leaves his room. "Izuku! Can you help me with something?"
He starts walking to her. "What do you need help with?"
"Turns out that I forgot some ingredients later for today, could you go to the store and get them for me? I've written them down already for you." She hands him a list with the items listed on it.
Izuku looks at the list before nodding at her and starts to leave. Suddenly a hand grabs the back of the jacket that he was wearing.
His mother turns around before pointing to the hole in his jacket that he got a while ago.
"What's this? A hole? Did you know about this?"
He nods his head. "Sorry, I forgot to tell you. It's been like this for a while and I've been so busy that I forgot about it."
It was the day I met All Might, of course I would forget this.
She shakes her head at him. "You might as well head to the dry cleaners while you're out there. They fix clothes there."
"Won't that take a bit? I don't think I'll make it back in time to be there when Kauri-san comes." He ask back.
She waves him off. "It'll be fine, I don't think they'll mind if you are late for a bit."
"If you say so…" He says quietly. With that, he leaves and heads to the store.
With a bag in his hand and two thousand yen lighter, he starts heading towards the dry cleaners.
As he is walking there, he starts pondering his dream again. Honestly, he shouldn't.
What does it mean? The fire, the rage, the urge to destroy everything… I've never felt emotions in a dream. Is that even possible? It seemed so, it was infectious.
Something isn't right. This dream is weird even for me, considering what I've already dreamt about. I really don't like this.
Clearly, he must have been too deep in his mind as he passed the dry cleaners. With a realization that he did, he jogs back and enters. Soon he leaves now without his jacket.
As he starts heading home, the universe watches the young man.
His future is not bright, but filled with darkness.
The universe weeps at the sight of it, but the powers hidden outside of reality smile with dark glee and laugh.
This is the beginning of the slow end.
He reaches his apartment after a bit. He sees Akira-san's car parked outside. With unhidden glee, he rushes up to his apartment to see his sister.
Only if he knew what was to come, he wouldn't be so eager to enter.
He is so eager to see his sister that he doesn't even notice that the door to the apartment is unlocked. He doesn't even notice the change in the air.
"Mom, Kauri! I'm Ho-"
Blood.
Blood.
Blood.
So much blood.
He freezes at the sight of it and drops the bag he was holding.
There it stood, a monster in the skin of a man. His red hair is so long that it reaches his lower back. Dressed all in black, with chains crisscrossing his back and legs, he holds up the body of his now-dead mother upside down. Her chest is open, with her insides trailing down past her breasts to her head.
Her face is worse. Her eyes have been cut out, her jaw was now cut horizontally to her jaw, allowing her mouth to open much further than it should.
It happens in an instant. Suddenly something grabs him and pulls him into the apartment. It takes him a moment to feel the burning around his arms and chest as he is pushed against the door of the refrigerator.
It was there that he saw it.
There were two bodies, both upside down and skinned. Both have been cut open and their organs also hanging out. What grabs his attention was the size of one of them.
One was the size of a child.
He doesn't have the chance to think more as the… monster… speaks.
"One more! One More! One more to skin and flay! One more to play!" It says it with such joy and glee, like a chi-
Eyes that were once filled with joy and innocence, now gone from the world.
The thought was gone as soon as it came. It speaks again.
"Flames too hot! Let me turn it down!"
Suddenly it isn't burning anymore, but the damage is done already.
Izuku can't speak, he can't even think. It's all happening too fast to process. He stares blankly at the villain.
"Those eyes! That hair! Perfect and beautiful! Hair as white as snow!"
It gets up to Izuku's face and looks him directly in the eyes. Izuku can see its face more clearly. It has a smile that shouldn't be there. Wide and wild, its teeth have been filed down into points.
It grabs his chin and looks deep into his eyes. "Yes! YES! Eyes full of despair and disbelief! Perfection! Perfection!"
He roughly lets him go and starts pacing around, its arms waving wildly in the air. "I wasn't expecting company! Oh, but this is perfect! Your face and eyes are filled with even more despair than the others! I even made them watch as I carved each one of them individually! Their faces weren't even close to yours!"
Suddenly a cloak of fire surrounds the villain. Its heat is unbearable as he can feel his face start to cook.
"I may have had them gagged, but their screams filled my heart with joy! Though, it's nothing compared to the joy I have at seeing the look on your perfect face!"
"The despair in those perfect Amethyst eyes!"
A small bundle of childish joy and happiness rushes over to hug him

"Bastard…" He mutters out.
Stopped in the middle of his rant, it glances over to Izuku, its fire cloak now gone.
"Oh… OH! It speaks! He speaks!"
It rushes over to him and grabs his chin roughly and forces him to look right at its face.
"Speak again thing! Speak louder and louder! Yell and scream with anguish to fill my heart!"
"Bastard." Izuku repeats again.
"Again!"
"Bastard."
"AGAIN!"
"Bastard!"
"AGAIN!"
"BASTARD!" Izuku is now full screaming in anguish with tears coming down his face as he cries from the pain.
He feels powerless as he cries his heart out.
They are gone.
Gone.
No more little sister to tell stories.
No more going to the flower store to help out.
No more, it's all gone.
Gone, gone, gone!

Izuku's vision starts turning purple as he relents to the voices.
A little hole is ripped open somewhere.
The universe weeps as the end begins.
Izuku awakens to the sound of beeps.
He opens his eyes to a while ceiling.
He slowly gets up and looks around. He's in the hospital.
He looks at his arms and chest. They are covered in bandages.
What happened? What's going on?
Then he remembers coming home.
Their bodies…
The blood…
Gone…
They are gone…
GONE!
THEY ARE GONE!
His crying alerts the staff and they come rushing into his room.
Izuku doesn't notice the doctor ordering a nurse to knock him out with her quirk.
As soon as he had awoken, he is put back to sleep.
The same shroud is covering his vision like usual. The whispers are once again indecipherable as they all speak.
But then he sees it. A hole in the shroud.
He looks through it.
He wishes he didn't.
