CHAPTER 2

Dealing What He Got

By the time Izuku rushed back to his apartment room and straight to his bedroom, he made sure to catch his breath and calm his nerves after realizing that his discovery of his new Quirk gain a bit of attention around the apartment building. And it was also the fact that he yelled out having a Quirk.

With all that aside, Izuku stared at the cuffs stuck on his hands, which are now his Quirk, and smiled at the fact that this is already happening to him. His dream of having a Quirk came through. All the years of being ridiculed and bullied for having no Quirk have finally led him to this moment.

The moment where he will tell everyone that he is not a Quirkless individual, especially to the ash-blonde jerk that is Bakugo. Izuku can tell that his face is curving with a bright smile as he knows, and believes, what he is doing is right.

"I can't believe that these cuffs gave me a Quirk!" Izuku is mentally excited. "Tomorrow, once I get to school, I can finally prove to everyone that I have a Quirk. And even Kacchan will now stop bullying me and treat me like a real friend!"

This kid is too pure, but he doesn't know that at all. Well, except for his parents.

He heard the main door open, jolting out from his excitement. He heard a luggage bag rolling and two people talking happily. Izuku can only tell who it is.

"Izuku, where are you? Someone's here to see you." Inko called, confusing Izuku.

"Coming, Mom!" Izuku responded as he left his bedroom. "What is it, Mom? Is Dad back yet or…" he paused for a moment and watched who was in front of him.

A tall and slightly toned man in a darker green suit with a black tie, black shoes, shaggy green hair, and a little bit of facial hair. His face is similar to Izuku, but twice older as than him.

"Hello, son." The man in front of him was Hisashi Midoriya, who smiled at him as he got close and give Izuku a hug. "It's good to see you again after all these years, son."

"Hey, Dad." Izuku smiled and returned back the hug. "It's glad to see you again."

Hisashi chuckled lightly, as they parted away. "Same here, son. Being away in Japan always reminds me of you and your mother, and every day I always remember your faces. But seeing you in person is better in my opinion."

"You know you have a picture of us, Hisashi. That picture besides lasts longer than you think." Inko teased, making Hisashi laugh.

"Of course, Inko. I do have it with me all the time. It's even in my wallet, which is stuck forever though." He sheepishly smiled on the last part. He remembered trying to make sure that the picture of his family will never slip into his pocket, so he used super glue which resolved the whole thing being stuck forever. But at least it was worth it.

"Anyway, son. I see that it's almost the end of your middle school years. Have any plans where to go in high school after graduation?" Hisashi asked, which made Inko also curious. Izuku, on the other hand, smiled at his question.

"Actually…" before he could speak, the young boy's smile immediately faded, as he remembered that his dream will make him a laughing stock. "Well… it's still in UA… But I'm still trying to make sure where can I go aside from there."

"Actually, I can help you with that, Izuku." Inko intervened, being the mother, she is. "In case UA doesn't suit you, there's always another school you can go to. Especially if it has to deal with your dream of becoming a Hero." Izuku wanted to interject, but he stopped and just remained quiet.

Hisashi can tell that his son is feeling blue and that if he were to enroll and study at UA without a Quirk, it'll make him a huge circus to laugh at. He wants his son to be happy, but being a Quirkless hero was one problem. So instead of scolding his dreams, he decided to play the role of being a father.

"Izuku," he placed his hand on his son's shoulder calmly, which got the latter's attention. "Son, I know that you wanted to be a hero so bad, but you have to understand that having a Quirk is rare nowadays. If you're going to be impatient, then it'll never come to you. All you have to do is wait, and let the time come that your Quirk will arrive soon." He smiled reassuringly.

"I understand, Dad," Izuku replied, and all of a sudden, his mind jolted like it was giving him a reminder. "Actually, Mom, Dad, there's something I wanted to tell you." His tone sounded like it was something important.

The Midoriya parents are both curious, which also makes them grow to be focused on what he has to say.

"What is it, Izuku?" Inko asked.

"If its something serious about your Quirk manifesting already or anything outside of that topic, we will make sure to help you," Hisashi stated as a father would say.

Izuku tried to collect the words he wanted to tell them, and it was about his Quirk. All he has to do is tell the truth about him getting a Quirk from a stasis pod at an alleyway, which gave him tech-based abilities. However, he doesn't want to surprise his father too much since he just got back.

And now that whatever he said about his Quirk being found and not manifested has become more, he thinks to think fast on whatever he has to say. Besides, everything was now set to motion and there's no turning back on the next words he's going to say.

"I… I found out that…" Great, he almost screwed it up, now he needs to think faster or they'll never buy his next words. "That there this new restaurant behind the hospital at downtown."

"Oh yeah, I did remember a restaurant being built behind the hospital we go to sometimes." Inko noted as she recalled.

"I think I know what you meant when you mentioned a restaurant Izuku, and it only means that you really wanted to surprise me, didn't you?" He chuckled. "Although, I could go for some dinner after a long flight all the way from America. But first, I need to get changed to something more comfortable."

"But honey, it's getting late. Surely you don't want to…" Inko was interrupted when she and Izuku stared at a wallet being held in the air.

"Relax, Inko. Our boy knows how to celebrate a homecoming party for his old man, and don't worry, I can pay for everything. It's on the house." Hisashi stated.

Inko decided to accept defeat. "Well… I… At least let me rest my legs for a while? It took an hour to get to the airport to pick you up."

"Of course, honey! You deserve to rest from all that travel you've been through." Hisashi kindly reassured them while he dragged his luggage bag in the master's bedroom as he began changing.

"Sweetie, you should get dressed too since we're heading out," Inko said to her son, who listened. "And wear something comfortable too, we won't be there that long."

"Got it, Mom." Izuku walked back to his bedroom as opened his drawer to find something casual and comfortable to wear outside. He looked at his wristbands for a while with a concerned expression on his face. "I don't know why I didn't tell them that I got a Quirk? Maybe… Maybe I shouldn't surprise them now. But… there will be a time where I'll have to tell them… but how?"

His thoughts were spiraling around his head, but he shook his head to get rid of them. After wearing his comfortable casual attire and his mom gaining back her legs' strength, the Midoriya Family left to grab some late midnight meals to celebrate Hisashi's return.

000000

I AM HERE! I AM HERE! I AM HERE! I AM…

The sound of All Might's voice coming from a phone with the loudest volume caused Izuku to groggily move his arm to turn it off. Once he sat up from his bed and rubbed his eyes, Izuku began to start the day clearing his head.

"Ugh… I know I should have eaten one Yamakake Udon…" Izuku groaned. He remembered when he first stepped inside the new restaurant, he was so interested to try their meals, which got him to order about two bowls of ramen. The taste made him feel brainwashed.

Once he grabbed his phone, Izuku checked at the time on the phone's lock screen, which only caused him to have a horrified expression, to begin with, and his eyes widened like dinner plates metaphorically.

It was 7:30. Class starts in thirty minutes. And he usually wakes up around 6:00 AM to start his day. This can't be happening right now.

"Izuku, wake up! You're going to be late for school!" the voice of his mother yelled out which got the attention of Izuku as he immediately got his energy jolting around him.

"And get that quick, I made some breakfast!" Hisashi was included. Izuku can smell the scent of hashbrowns and eggs from the kitchen to his room.

"I just need to use the shower!" Izuku immediately got out of his bed, rushed to his closet and began grabbed his school uniform, and began changing clothes. "Good thing I took a shower when we got back."

After getting dressed, Izuku rushed himself quickly as possible to the kitchen, which got the attention of Inko and Hisashi who are now starting breakfast without him.

"Good morning, son. Did you sleep well?" Hisashi asked with a smile.

"Good morning, Mom, Dad. Sorry, but I can't stay for breakfast." Izuku quickly grabbed at least two hash browns and took a big bite on each of them. He grabbed a glass and quickly searched the fridge that is anything aside from milk.

"I'm going to guess that his alarm wasn't on?" Hisashi asked like a parent would say. "Or maybe he accidentally set on PM and not AM."

"I'm not really sure since we arrived back at the apartment late. But I specifically told him to stop watching anything related to hero news." Inko stated, sipping her cup of coffee afterward.

"I did remember I also asked him that, or maybe he was really sleepy that time." Hisashi wondered while taking a bite of his eggs.

Izuku, on the other hand, had his expression looking like he is trying to force the embarrassment around him. He did listen, maybe he set it to seven.

With his hashbrowns devoured and a big gulp of orange juice finished, Izuku immediately dashed his way once again as he grabbed his red shoes to tie them up. Eventually, before he could go, his father got his attention.

"Hey, son! Hold up!" Hisashi called, to which Izuku responded by stopping. He turned his attention to his father, who is holding his yellow backpack. "You forgot this." He chuckled.

"Oh, r-right! I-I didn't notice it behind me!" he said aloud in embarrassment. He was never this forgetful, until now. He grabbed his backpack from his dad. "Thanks, Dad."

"Don't mention it, kiddo. Next time, check before you leave, okay? You don't want that to be a habit, do you?" Izuku quickly nodded in disagreement. "Good, now get going now. You don't want to be late for class."

Izuku nodded and rushed out of the house to stop wasting time. "Bye, Izuku! Take care!"

"Bye guys, I'll see you later!" Izuku responded back, slamming the door and dashing his way out of the building in hopes to make it to school in time.

Izuku is getting exhausted as he knew that running won't make it quicker as he gets tired and his legs start to give up on him. He was only like two kilometers away from his apartment. He checked his phone to see the time, it was almost time since he wasted ten minutes running.

Izuku knew that he was losing his breath so took a break. "I need to get going, or I'll miss a day in class. I'm not even sick, to begin with." He knew being tardy isn't really his character. "I need to think of a way to… That's it!"

He realized now. His wrist cuffs. His Quirk. Or whatever it's called then. He can use his Quirk to summon the jet booster for his back to fly himself to school in time.

Now, the only question is: How?

Izuku remembered that his Quirk activated suddenly when he tried to stuff the trash bag in the dumpster. So far, that went… well as expected to be since he managed to use all three abilities from the cuffs.

"So, if I clenched my fists really hard, it'll transform into its robotic form. I guess acting surprised made my arm transform into a blaster. Then… what about the boosters?" All his thoughts were all correct from what he remembered, except for the booster part.

How did his boosters activate?

"I think I have an idea…" Izuku grabbed his bag with his right and clenched his fists as they transformed into their bionic form. Then, once it's out in the open and only he sees it, he already put his idea to use. "Activate boosters?"

He felt his arms behind him transform as they gave him his back boosters similar to what happened last night. Izuku was stunned by the fact that saying it in voice command managed to do the trick.

"Okay, I already have them activated," Izuku stated, who started guessing. "Now… How do I hover from the ground?" he asked himself, which brought to another idea where he jumped from the ground, which didn't work at all. "Maybe… I should sway my arms backward?"

He jumped once again, with his arms swayed backward while in mid-air, then all of a sudden, he started from the ground as the back boosters started letting out their rocket fuel flame to support his weight.

"Since hovering from the air made it work… Then how about flying me to school?" Izuku wondered with more curiosity since this is his first time flying. His idea flashed on his head, and what he did is he thrust his body to the front, which caused him to fly really fast all of a sudden.

A faint yell was heard as Izuku was about to fall to his death at a dangerous height, but he was suddenly saved when his back boosters activated again, causing him to fly in different places uncontrollably until his direction changed when he flies forward, which is exactly taking him to school.

Although, he was able to reach Aldera after three minutes of uncontrollable and out-of-control flying. He tried to land down by steadying his body but can't due to the boosters giving out so much velocity, he couldn't even control his body.

Izuku was out of balance, on the other hand, struggling with his body weight and maybe himself in the air as possible as he can. However, since he is still in mid-air, Izuku forced his body to swerve on his right as he landed painfully on the school building's rooftop. Izuku groaned painfully as his Quirk revert his arms back to normal.

"Note to self: Using the back boosters was a terrible idea…" Izuku noted, still groaning from the pain that he gained. "And maybe my body weight isn't that support for that part yet." As if he didn't know that when he started flying. But that could be the reason why he can't fly well.

Izuku manages to get up from the ground, shake off the pain, and head on his way to class. He hoped he won't go into trouble, or get late. Rushing himself into the hallways, Midoriya checked the time and he was right on schedule. That was when he bumped into someone by accident.

"Wuah!" Izuku fell to the ground, "I'm very sorry, I was just… K-Kacchan?"

It was Bakugo he bumped his way at. He noticed that his arm was reached out so he pushed him out of the way, while his two cronies were smiling at him sadistically. Izuku can only tell himself that he deserved to get pushed since he was in his way.

This kid will never be confident enough.

"Deku," Bakugo growled, slightly mad, as always. "Usually, I always see your wimpy ass early, and I thought you were going to be fucking late. How the hell did you get in here anyway!" he demanded an answer.

"W-Well… I…" he tried to find a better answer, "I can't say I have a Quirk! It'll be too soon to let Kacchan know that I got one! I need to think of an answer quick, or I'll just be stuck here for-"

"Hey, I'm asking you, nerd! Answer me now or you're going to regret it!" Bakugo yelled, explosion sparks popping out on his right palm.

Izuku's mind jolted. He has a perfect excuse. "I was… at the library. Sleeping!"

Huh? That was the excuse he came up with? Sleeping in the library?!

His answer got some snickers from other students in Aldera, with some insults included. Even Bakugo's cronies were holding their laughter, but their faces really wanted to otherwise.

"Tch. Whatever. As long as you're not ahead of me, you better be in your fucking place." The ash-blonde growled as he, and everyone else, started to get to class.

"You should really get to school early more often." A girl with light taupe hair which she keeps in pigtails reminded Izuku kindly. Her green eyes were half-lidded as if she didn't care one bit about what was going on.

"Yeah… I'm aware…" That is all Izuku could answer. He makes a move already as he entered the classroom where he and Bakugo are located so the day can start.

"I can't tell Kacchan that I have a Quirk. I don't want to get in his way. He has every right to be the number one, not me. I can't let his dream be crushed all because of me. Maybe… I shouldn't tell them, or anyone, about me having a Quirk. This has to be kept to myself only."

He made that as a mental note.

000000

During the afternoon now, Aldera's next class after lunch was cut off as every student on campus will be given an interview with a few faculty staff members about their next schools after middle school, and what will their future careers be.

Izuku was waiting outside, along with other several students. He was feeling anxious about the interview since it might give him a problem with what he wanted. He couldn't even shake off the memory when his classmates mocked him for his dreams to get into UA.

"Next!" Izuku heard the cue and made his way inside the room. He made himself comfortable as he was seated in front of the principal's table.

"Let's see… Ah, Izuku Midoriya. Student of Ukute-san in Room A-6. Well… this will be interesting for today." The principal smiled at the boy. "So, you know exactly what this is about, right?"

"Yes, sensei. It's about the interviews for our careers and next schools after middle school." Izuku recited.

"Good! As always, you have a special talent when it comes to getting information." The principal smiled at Izuku's adapting and memory skills.

The principal of Aldera was the only person who is kind to Izuku during the time when it was just him. Seeing the students and teachers neglecting him for being Quirkless made him just go with the flow, but still help regardless sometimes.

But the one thing that matters is that he was so kind. He even felt pity for the boy's lack of confidence, especially something else that ticks him off at times.

"So, let's cut to the chase, and start with your interview so that you can get home early like the rest, shall we?" the principal grabbed Izuku's folder. "From your school records, it shows that you have excelled very well in your grades so far, activities and solo projects included. But… you are always failing in physical education, but it is understandable regardless."

He placed the folder down. "Now… for the biggest question of all. Is there a school you wanted to go to after you graduated here?"

"Well, the only school I want to go to is at UA, sensei," Izuku answered, making the principal sigh.

The principal gulped but kept going. "And… is there a course you want to be in if you enter UA?"

"To be a Hero, sensei. Just like my idol, All Might." Izuku answered proudly, but it was stiff.

"I knew that this would be the answer…" The principal sadly stated.

Izuku was baffled by his response. "I-Is it something I said?!"

"Actually, to be honest, Midoriya-san… it is." Izuku was confused. "You see, UA is a prestigious school for the best of the best. The written exam in that school is nothing but just a simple test, so studying is hopeless. As much as possible, chasing your dreams is okay, but you need to understand that reality is always there to kick you in the head as a sense of realization."

"As the principal of this school, I will make sure to help you no matter what. However, your choosing UA is something that I will not really recommend for you. There are other schools that might be suited for you. There is always Shiketsu. Or Shiganshina High, they are also known for training the best of the best when it comes to intellect wise."

Izuku listened to every word he said. He remembered that his mom will always have plans to get him into a different school if he is undecided, while his dad will always be supportive of his choices since it's his destiny. Unfortunately, Inko is already prepared for that and tries to convince Izuku otherwise that there are other schools that can be suited for him being a Quirkless individual.

But, knowing Izuku's mind, it's like talking to a brick wall. He has dreams. Dreams that he doesn't want to get shattered on. Especially right now, since he has a pair of technological cuffs that can make him look like a superweapon.

"Look, Midoriya, I respect your wishes as much as possible, but it won't be that easy if you ever step foot into UA. It will be impossible for you, whether you have or don't have a Quirk." Izuku looked down at the ground. "But… unless if you could give me a reason why you wanted to be in UA and be a hero. I mean, you have a gifted talent that makes you be a Support Item inventor instead."

He was actually kind of sick of hearing the same reason why he should take that course. But Izuku's answer to his question was and always been, the same thing since he was a little kid.

"I wanted to be in the Hero Course because All Might was my idol growing up." Izuku started. "I know that there can't be a Quirkless hero in the future, especially when… someone told me that I can't be one. Eventually, one day, if I have a Quirk, I won't just prove to everyone that I got one, but… I will prove to them that anyone can be a hero."

Not really as inspiring as it sounds, the principal sighed one last time since he might have heard the same thing over and over again from Izuku's essays, both in English class and in exams.

"Okay, Midoriya…" the principal sighed. "If that's what you want… then I will support your dream no matter what, hopefully, the same goes for your parents." He proudly said. "I just hope that you don't have a Quirk all of a sudden, and you're trying to hide it from everyone because you can't even learn how to use it." He chuckled a bit.

That made Izuku feel all nervous, with his quivering lips and his forehead starting to sweat profusely.

"Y-Yes. N-N-N-Nothing like that a-a-at all, sensei." He tried to keep his composure, but it was hard since he was already shaking.

"I also hope your confidence can be awakened too aside from a potential Quirk." The principal hoped. "Now you can go home, and I will see you tomorrow."

Izuku left the room, having a bit of pride on his face that he might have a chance to get into UA since someone is counting on him. He just only hoped that once he tells his parents about his final decision for high school, they might take the news easily.

000000

"Absolutely not, Izuku! Of all the schools you chose in the interview, you wanted UA?"

"Now come on, honey. This is Izuku's path, and as parents, we should be supportive of his choices."

"Hisashi! Be at least reasonable for our son's future!"

"I am! I'm being a supportive father, that's all."

His parents were in a mixed bag for Izuku.

When he got home, his parents asked if he has any plans for high school, and he answered the same thing that he did during the interview, however, it caused a lot of issues from Inko that he is choosing a dangerous path, while Hisashi was just being the supportive father he is, regardless of the situation.

"Mom, please. This is what I want and –"

"Enough, Izuku." Inko interrupted sternly. "Just because your principal was supportive of your dream, doesn't mean that you can get to UA like it's a normal school. I'm not saying that you should stop chasing your dreams, but you need to think about the side of reality as well. The world now may look like it came from a comic book, but everything isn't fiction."

"I have other schools in mind that you might be interested in. There are these international schools that your father can help you enroll at. You can choose Beacon Academy or Shiganshina, those schools can be suited for your skills."

Izuku muttered. "But… I wanted to be a hero… I have my goals… My dreams…"

"And I'm still reluctant about it, sweetie," Inko reassured calmly. "We are doing this not just for our own good, but also for your life since you don't even have a Quirk. I mean, you being a late bloomer will be more difficult to understand."

If only he could tell them about his Quirk, but he made a promise not to show it yet.

"Now, if I may have a reason, surely Izuku has every right to get into UA," Hisashi stated, shocking the other two Midoriyas. "I mean, it's obvious that Izuku has the potential to be in a prestigious school like UA."

"Hisashi, please, don't start. We already –

"Now, Inko. Before you say something else, let me tell you something." He looked into his wife's eyes. "You sounded like a terrible mother, to begin with. You should be supportive of our son's decision for a lot of reasons."

"I was just only doing it for our son's life." Inko reasoned.

"But it's his life, it's his choice. It's his right to be himself, and choose what he wants as long it's not hurting him the most." Hisashi said back, making it a big reminder to Inko. "I known Izuku for my entire life when we video chatted while I was in the states. Our boy is a fighter, he doesn't give up on everything that's coming his way, every day and every night. So, basically, our son has every right to be at UA, because I know that Izuku can do it." Hisashi smiled proudly at Izuku, who was calm about his mother's reasoning.

"Thanks, dad…" Izuku thanked, getting a wink from his old man.

Inko sighed, since arguing to both Midoriya men was impossible. "Well… I supposed that I have no other choice then, but… Izuku, whatever it is that you like, for as long that you don't give it all up, then I will also be supportive of your dream."

Izuku was taken back to what he heard. His mom decided to support him? And it's all because of his dad's talk about his son being a fighter? Somehow, the actual sums up everything on him not giving up his dreams.

Izuku's expression shifted to an excited one. "Thank you, guys… Thank you so much!" he hugged them with his arms. "Trust me, once I pass in UA, both of you will not be disappointed!"

"I'm sure we won't be son," Hisashi stated. "You're Izuku Midoriya, a boy who is fighting for a dream. The boy with a heart like it's made out of iron."

000000

The next day, after another long session of school, Izuku was walking all by himself to head back home. He had a normal expression as always, every after class. Seriously, how can this kid find geometry easier? Especially the fact that it was already five PM.

However, his mind was still running around to the fact that since he has a Quirk, he can basically show it around to the people who's been doubting him that he is not Quirkless. However, he always remembered that Bakugo is aiming for the top and doesn't anyone to get in his way. To add things more, his parents agreed that he can get into UA "despite" not having a Quirk.

"If only I had these cuffs on me way before… I would've told everyone that I have a Quirk. But… I don't know why I can't show them, or tell them even, that I got a Quirk." Izuku mentally asked himself, saddened by the fact that this is a lot harder to keep secrets. "This is like a Spider-Man comic origin…" he mentally sighed annoyingly.

He is in a world where metahuman abilities are the norm.

The only thing that he has to do is just, deal with it.

Suddenly, a cry for help was heard from afar as it was combined with the sound of destruction and metal clanging faintly. Izuku heard the noise as he became very alert of the situation. Eventually, he decided to run to where the situation is.

000000

Arriving at the scene as possible, he watched as a few civilians in the district-run away from the threat. Izuku remained focused at the large being that was being covered by a large shade of shadow to prevent its identity from being revealed. Until, it moved by turning around about-face, and watched everyone flee from the scene.

It made Izuku surprised to see the villain who's wreaking havoc in this district. He was more surprised to see what the villain looked like. It was something that he had never seen in his entire life. Even now to say the least.

The villain is actually a hulking, tall male cyborg, with metals covering his right arm and legs but there were a few bits of metals. The head looked like he was wearing a helmet, with dark red lenses and around respirator in the middle. He was also wielding a sledgehammer with his non-metallic arm that's as long as a house door.

Izuku was scared to see that villain, for the time again, as he tried to move his body to get our and run, but he can't due to the fact that the villain was staring at him likely. "Why isn't it chasing me?! Why am I not even running away from my life?! I know should've minded my own business but I was…" his eyes directed his attention elsewhere from the fading cloud smoke. "Wait… what?"

The fading cloud of smoke revealed a skinny blonde man, crouching on the ground, possibly in pain. The cyborg villain directed his focus on the random civilian as he readied his sledgehammer to deliver a finishing blow, which shocked Izuku more.

"That villain's going to kill him! I have to save him." Izuku quickly rushed to the scene, despite being the only individual in the district to save a stranger from getting killed. However, this action caused the green-haired boy to be confused. "W-Wait, why am I doing this?! It's like my body can't stop!"

This was a lot of complicated.

But what's more complicated is that the Izuku was far from the cyborg, which got his attention as he immediately raised his sledgehammer into the air to deliver the killing blow on the poor civilian.

"NO!" Izuku yelled, and suddenly his bionic arms transformed out in the open along with his back booster as it transformed and immediately created a powerful boost to jump in the way to save the blonde man before the sledgehammer strike the ground in a split second.

The cyborg villain wasn't surprised nor mad that his target is gone. However, he turned his attention to the boy who rescued someone's life in a split second. However, the robot's vision started to scan the boy's presence. And the bionic arms.

Izuku and the blonde man were now far away from the villain. He made sure to check on the person that he rescued since his flying skills were still rusty. "Sir, a-are you o-okay?" he asked.

The blonde man coughed. "Yes, I am fine, thank you so much, young man." He got up from the ground quickly. "We need to leave the area immediately; The Pro Heroes will deal with the situation."

"R-Right! It's not safe here and – " He was interrupted immediately when a giant hand grabbed him from behind. The young boy tried to free himself from the cyborg's grip, but it was too strong. Eventually, the villain made an escape as his robotic feet lifted him off the ground like a rocket.

The blonde man could only watch as the cyborg took him away in the air at great speed, with a horrified look on his face. "Oh no…"

000000

The robot started flying around the air and far from Musutafu while gripping Izuku with his arm. However, the boy being captured was trying his best to get himself off from the robot's hand.

Eventually, Izuku panicked when he looks at the ground as he was getting way far up from the air due to the increased amount of rocket boost coming from the cyborg villain's feet.

"Arm Blaster!" Izuku panicked all of a sudden, and his right bionic arm transformed into a blaster, blasting the villain's face, causing him to drop the boy as a reaction.

However, the greenest was also in the midst of being in danger as he started to fall, and right now, he should have his back booster activated right now since saying the name of the cuff's gadget.

"Back booster! Back booster! BACK BOOSTER!" Izuku kept yelling at can tell that he was almost nearing his death on the ground. "Why isn't it working?! Why is this Quirk of mine so complicated!"

Eventually, he got what he wanted so he as his back transformed into its back booster, which started to fly him straight at great speed but crashed him inside a large office building. Izuku started breathing shakingly as he tried to catch his breath, and he also hoped that the cyborg didn't find him.

"I hope that villain won't find me already…" Izuku really hoped so hard that this will all end. Unfortunately, he witnessed the cyborg crashing inside the building at great speeds as it let out some steam from its damaged face and gripped the sledgehammer with two of its hands.

Oh, crap.

"Oh, crap…" Izuku cursed mentally.

The cyborg began attacking the boy as the latter dodged the sledgehammer quickly before he could get hit by it. Izuku immediately got away from the robot as he reached out his fist in the air and aimed it at the cyborg.

"Arm blaster!" nothing happened when Izuku yelled out. "Activate Arm Blaster!" he was shocked that it didn't happen, just like with the back boosters. "Come on, please work!"

Eventually, he was met with a striking swing from the cyborg's weapon as it hit Izuku and send him flying to get hit by a wall. Groaning in pain, Izuku watched as the cyborg raised his sledgehammer to deliver a killing blow, similar to the blonde man's suffering. He can't even use his right arm since it was aching badly.

However, Izuku reached out his bionic arm once again, but with his left, and it transformed into another blaster in a split second, which surprised Izuku at first. His secondary blaster fired a plasma shot at the cyborg's hand, dropping its weapon to the ground.

Izuku immediately got up from the ground and fired his left arm blaster repeatedly at the robot's body which has some effect as it's making him feel affected by the plasma bolt's effect. Izuku let his arm keep firing, but little by little, the blaster shots were getting slower and slower, until there was a loud hissing sound coming from his arm.

"Gah!" Izuku gripped his left arm, hissing from the painful effect.

The cyborg was still victorious as it remained undefeated. Izuku was out of options as he can only see to it that this will be the end of him. Although, he had an idea. He let his arm blaster charge and waited for a few seconds until it was completely glowing with green energy.

Believing that it was enough, Izuku fired the charged output from his arm blaster as it created a powerful punch to the cyborg's torso. It may not create a hole due to its powerful output, but it managed to make the cyborg go offline from the impact.

Izuku let out a sigh of relief, lucky that he was able to do that. "I can't believe that worked…" he said to himself, feeling surprised that his idea worked very well. His arms reverted back to their normal arms in a split second once again, and Izuku noticed that his arms were slightly red due to his blaster's aftereffect. He hissed in pain when he touched them.

Eventually, a squad of police officer's barged into the office room where Izuku's in, surrounding the area. Izuku to tired to be surprised, but his heartbeat was rapid when they came in.

Eventually, the police squad was also accompanied by All Might himself, wearing the same clothes as yesterday when he defeated the Sludge Villain. He stared at the young boy as he speaks. "Excuse me, but any chance that your name is Izuku Midoriya?"

"Y-Yes," Izuku answered. "You asked?"

The police detective revealed his yellow backpack to him, surprising Izuku. "We believe that this is yours since your ID is inside. We also heard from the civilians from the district that you charge yourself in a villain attack without a Hero Provisional License? Is this true?"

Izuku wanted to answer no, but he was no other choice but to answer. "Yes. It is true. But I did it for a reason!" he tried to reason out.

"Well, you can explain that while you are getting your injuries checked." All Might sternly say, as two Pro Heroes escorted Izuku out, for reasons. "You should've learned what you were doing earlier, young man."

All Izuku could do is just be quiet and just accept what was coming to him.

000000

Back at the district, the people that were involved with the cyborg villain's attack were getting their injuries checked, from a bleeding forehead to some broken legs. Some of them wanted to sue the villain's actions, from getting injured and their business being destroyed.

"What were you thinking to begin with! Running out there like that will only get you killed!" Kamui Woods scolded a guilt-tripped Izuku, while is arm is getting treated.

"But I did save someone…" Izuku stated, which is true.

"But that doesn't mean you can get out of this situation that easily!" Death Arms retorted, which is somehow a valid reason. "You need to learn that us Pros got it covered! Do something like that, and we might as well arrest you. Got it?"

"Yes, sir…" Izuku said sadly, but letting all their scolding words go into his mind.

On the other side where a parked police car is, All Might is listening to the same detective's conversation whose name is Detective Tsukauchi. "So made an interview with that kid who beat up Sledgehammer, and he told me that he did it because he just tried to save someone."

"And who is that someone, to begin with, Tsukauchi?" All Might questioned.

"He said something about a "blonde, skinny man laying on the ground for help" and who was about to get killed by Sledgehammer's weapon." Tsukauchi almost heard All Might make a sound, getting him curious. "You… don't mean that this has something to involve you, right?"

"No. Not at all." All Might said, despite sweat dropping nervously. The Symbol of Peace watched the boy getting scolded letting all of his guilt run over his face. "I didn't know that kid had those powers… I thought that kind of artificial Quirk is just a myth. A myth that my old enemy created…"

All Might had a thought for a while in his head, until Tsukauchi asked him. "Got something running in your mind, Toshi?"

"Y-Yes." All Might answered, still staring at Izuku from afar. "I think I need to have a little word with Young Midoriya, but into something more… less revealing."

He has plans to talk to the boy. But the only two questions that are running in his mind on how to proceed with his plan are: When and where?

And that's it for part two of this connected origin. All Might will play an important role here, but Hisashi (Izuku's dad) will also have an important key role in Izuku's life. However, there will be other characters that will play an important role in his life, but NOT all of them. So, yeah, sorry about that in advance.

Although, I can already tell that this chapter is rushed and very out of place, despite it being connected to the previous chapter of this story. But as much as possible, other chapters will be more interesting, to say the least, and to get your hopes up.

Also, to the reviews that kept on saying "This story has some Generator Rex vibes", I really wanted to say no to it, but after thinking it through and coming up with some potential chapters based on some Generator Rex episodes, I could agree to what you all said. But to add in my case, there will be some Spider-Man vibes too, but comics and movies as references.

Also, updates are every Friday, or two weeks on Friday. Some chapters might be longer or hard to write since I have college plans.

Anyway, please review and support, and loving my story will also boost my energy to keep this story going! Bye!
