Hello, again readers, sorry for not updating this last week. I was getting fatigued over the past few weeks to the point it also put me into a writer's block. I even felt sick that time so that's another thing. And of course, I was preparing for college and for summer vacation since school is ending soon.

Anyway, enough of that now, enjoy the new chapter! There won't be any action around, except for the last part! Enjoy!

Chapter 4

Summer Week Bolts

"Huh? A message from All Might? And this early?" Izuku got up from his bed groggily and grabbed his phone to read the message.

It wasn't a really a long message, but it was urgent since it reads on the top "READ PLS YOUNG MIDORIYA"

Eventually, the green-haired boy just read the whole thing.

"Dear Young Midoriya, whatever you do, don't ask or think how was I able to know your name in this app. But right now, here's the thing why I left you this message earlier than seven: You see, I was called up for an important meeting in UA, an old friend who I need help with, and a very important meeting with Detective Naomasa, which is, of course, you met him during your little mishap. But regardless of what I am trying to say here, is that you and me will not have any training for two weeks, so, therefore, we will meet once I'm done with all my important stuff. And I expect you to balance both your vacation and your training, as much as possible. Especially in your fighting skills. Anyway, I'll see you next Monday. Ciao! Or… was it sayonara…"

000000

A few days ago, ever since All Might sent him that message, Izuku was now spending most of his vacation either relaxing or pushing himself to practice his father's complicating fighting book that he ever received. However, there was some progress along the way that only lasted for about four days, and it was only for about ten pages. Izuku can memorize an entire history of how Hawks became a Pro Hero in a day.

However, he was only new to fighting, so it was likely and highly impossible for him to keep up with the process in the book that he was reading. And he never really did balance his vacation plans that well, since he promised himself that he doesn't want to screw up in the Entrance Exam.

Although, all he has to do is wait for two months for the Entrance Exam to start, and he is already good to go. But since he is reading a complicated book and training how to fight since it was his first time, then maybe it'll take a month for him to finish the book.

"Okay, so All Might isn't going to be around for another two weeks." Izuku was reminded mentally. "There has to be a way for me to remember my training. Especially with my Quirk's other abilities…"

While he was thinking about where to start, Izuku stopped his tracks and stared a construction site, much to his curiosity. He watched the entire thing and realized that the site has actually twin buildings that are ten stories high and doesn't seem like it was finished or was left abandoned due to something else. Izuku's answer was leaning to abandoned since it's eleven AM in the morning and some construction materials and vehicles were left behind.

Regardless he had an idea. "This place could work for my flying ability." He guessed. But it didn't really sound like one.

After flying up to the tenth floor of the site's building, Izuku just remembered that his fears started to shake up around his entire body and soul. He looked down for a bit and noticed how high he was on already, and it made him want to jump. But that will result into him falling to the ground with his rambling and rambling that won't activate his jetpack.

Izuku took a step a back and took a long breath to get his fear out. "Okay Izuku… You can do this… You can do this. This is exactly just like the thing back at the Wano Tower. You practiced enough, so I'm sure you'll do just fine by flying in different holes of the site to land back down."

After giving himself a whole speech of encouragement, Izuku decided that it was ready for him to start. He clenched his bionic fists, along with his jetpack letting out some firepower as means of start. Izuku once again took a deep breath and relaxed his mind.

And moved his legs forward as he jumped out of the floor into the air.

Once he was in mid-air, Izuku managed to keep his body stiff and steady while falling, which got him to make his jetpack boost himself in the air as he started to fly going back to the building.

"Okay Izuku, remember how you were able to do it!"

Once he entered the building, he forced himself to push all his body weight to another open exit in front of him. Once he reached out of the way, his swayed his body immediately to stop the boost to slow down and twist his body to his right, flying down to the eighth floor of the building. He managed to lift his body to keep his flight straight as he noticed a hole on the floor in his way.

"Hmmm… I wonder where does it lead, too?" Izuku thought as he flies down to the hole, only to realize that it was deep one. His guess is that it will take him to the ground floor to land back.

Although, the boy looks around to see many open gaps and holes inside. "This looks like a real challenge. And it looked kind of fun!" he had a smile on his face.

Izuku started to go daredevil his flying ability as he flies through to the gaps and holes, over and under, and dodges from left to right. Despite the abandoned site's entrance being completely unfinished and looking like a maze, Izuku was able to pilot himself like a natural pilot flying a plane. And it did make his smile look permanent since this was exciting.

"Whoo-hoo!" Izuku yelled out in joy as he speeds up his flight going straight to the ground floor. However, instead of landing, he decided to fly out of the site and landed on the ground recklessly, but managed to drag his feet to stop.

"Whoa-WHOA!" He said as he tries to keep balance, but was able to do so when he moved his feet. He let out a shaky laugh as a sigh of relief. He never felt this excited. "Wow! That was great! I never knew that I pulled that off! I just hoped no one saw me doing it." He hopped on that last part.

"Wow! You were really lucky to have something cool like that!"

… Or not.

Izuku widened his eyes, with his expression going on to his shy and fear mode. "Huh?! Somebody saw me?" it sounded like it.

Izuku turned around to see a girl with dark moss green hair and a toothy grin on her face. She was wearing a green jacket, long jeans, and white rubber shoes. Although, the jeans she was wearing was hugging her curves.

"I gotta say, when the moment I saw you fall out of that construction site, I thought you were going to end your life. Turns out you were just doing it to fly! I'm impressed how it go out for you! You look like Superman to begin with!" The mysterious girl commented.

She sounded impressed with how he flies with style. He was speechless and started to blush really badly since this is the first time that someone is impressed with his skill aside from All Might.

"T-Thanks." Izuku stammered since he has nothing else to say to strangers. Especially if it's a girl.

"Hey, I get it. You're nervous. It must be new for you to handle such good critics. But hey, you're flying was great though!" she let out a light chuckle. She pointed her thumb at herself. "I'm Setsuna Tokage! Nice to meet another fellow greenie around the city!" she introduced to herself. At least she was kind.

"I-I'm Izuku. Izuku Midoriya. It's a-also nice to m-meet you!" Izuku stammered, both in nervousness and in shyness.

Setsuna raised her brow. "Why so nervous? It's not like you never talk to a girl in your entire life." Unfortunately, knowing how many times Izuku encountered the many mean women in Aldera, it was kinda obvious.

Until she got the hint from his saddened expression. "Shit! Uh… sorry if I ever mention that." She apologized.

"N-No. It's fine. I'm just… not really a sociable person." Izuku reassured. It was hard to explain to a person who knows how tough his life was. "So… how long were you watching?"

"Well, I did saw you on top of the building after you jump from it. Then the next thing I know is that you were flying like a real pilot!" Setsuna's excitement went back. "It almost made me worried since there aren't a lot of people here, besides me. I could've caught you with my floating hand if you ever fall for real."

"I'm really sorry about that. I did it beca… Wait, did you say 'floating hand?'" Izuku was about to explain everything until he was confused about the floating hand part.

"Yep. It's actually part of my Quirk." Setsuna detached her right hand as it began to float. Making Izuku surprised in awe. "Pretty cool, huh?"

Izuku's eyes were glued at how Setsuna's Quirk works, which even activated his Quirk analysis skills. "What's your Quirk called?"

"It's called Lizard Tail Splitter." She started as she let some the pieces of her body detach and float around. "My body can split into several pieces and I control them with my mind. I can divide my body into 50 different parts, although according to my uncle, my Quirk has a limit which I still don't know why but he did tell me to stay cautious about it." She reattaches all her pieces back into one place. "Get all that?"

Izuku was amazed, letting out his about Quirks. "That's so cool!"

Setsuna grinned, amused. "Wow! I never see the day that you would be my fan! Unless… you know, if you and me wanted to go on a date to be my number one fan!" he chuckled deviously.

This made Izuku turn into a blushing mess once again. "I-I… That's n-n-not why I'm like that! I just thought you're cool – I mean, you're Quirk is c-cool. A-And m-maybe you…" he kept on stammering while his face looked like a tomato.

"Alright, easy. I was just saying. Plus, it was just a joke." Setsuna calmed down Izuku. "Anyway, I was just about to walk by UA to sign up for the entrance exam, and I was wondering if you're heading there too? That is if you're also enrolling."

That got Izuku's attention, "Y-Yeah, I'm actually also enrolling there, too!"

Setsuna smiled. A new friend to tag along with. "Great! Maybe you and me can head there together. If that's cool with you."

"Sure. I would like to come with you." Izuku politely said, taking the offer to go with Setsuna.

"Great! Let's get going!" Setsuna and Izuku both walked their way to UA.

So far, this was the first time that Izuku was able to make a new friend, and meet a girl for the first time.

"I can't believe that I talked to a girl!" Izuku really did.

"Hmm… this guy really does look cute when he is blushing so hard. He makes me smile since he almost looks like a tomato." Setsuna was really impressed that she encountered someone like Izuku.

000000

Inside the building's large and spacey enrollment room of UA, many students alike with different types of Quirks are both lined up to sign in their names at the registrar and were ordered to wait in the waiting room to see what kind of Quirk they have.

So far, they taught that this is the entire Entrance Exam, but they believe it's a mock test for school matters. All they can do is just understand the situation and just listen to the instructions they are given.

On the other side of the room, Izuku and Setsuna are both walking around the building after they signed up their names for the enrollment. "Well, at least we got some thirty minutes to wait for the 'mock test' they got. I can really admit that this school is a lot weirder, huh?" Setsuna commented about her first time being inside UA.

"Yeah, I can agree with that." Izuku lightly chuckled and agreed. Ever since they both started bonding, they both started talking about their favorites: Heroes from Izuku and dinosaurs from Setsuna. So far, they managed to keep talking.

"God, I can't wait to show off my Quirk! I can't wait!" Setsuna started to feel giddy about the mock test.

"Well, I can tell that you will do well in the test later, Tokage. Besides, I'm also getting nervous about this." Izuku smiled sheepishly.

"Hey, it's just a mock test, so basically the big leads are in the entrance exam, so don't try to sweat yourself, 'kay?" Setsuna somehow encouraged.

"Don't you mean 'don't sweat yourself', isn't that the right term?"

"I'm not a human dictionary, besides we should relax about this."

"Yeah, you're right. We should find a seat before it's all…" Izuku was cut off when he accidentally bumped into someone. "O-Oh. I-I'm so sorry! I didn't know where I was going!" Izuku kept on rambling his apology.

"It's quite alright. I was also getting used to the large halls in this school after I registered." A student the same age as Izuku and Setsuna, but has a head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble that of a crow or a raven, reassured.

"S-Still, I-I'm sorry…" Izuku mumbled, which was audible to hear.

"Don't push yourself too hard over minor mistakes. It is fine since we always let them happen." The bird-headed boy lectured.

Izuku listened well to what he said, while Setsuna was shocked at how he was able to use big words like that.

"Wow, this guy can talk really maturely for big words like that." Setsuna thought, and she didn't sound like an idiot for that.

The bird-headed boy reached his hand out. "It would be better if we introduce ourselves so we won't remember this as a terrible memory. I am Fumikage Tokoyami, and it is nice to see you."

"I-I'm Izuku Midoriya." He shook Tokoyami's hand. He pointed to Setsuna. "And this is Setsuna Tokage."

"Sup."

"Hmm… I think I noticed you earlier." Tokoyami looked at Setsuna. "Did you use your Quirk to scratch your back after you tried scratching yourself by a tree?"

Izuku looked at Setsuna with a confused look, while the latter was embarrassed. "Yeah… It was getting on my nerves lately so I need something to get rid of it. Can you blame me, though?"

"Well, I wouldn't really, since Quirk Usage is a law. But since It's not much on what you're doing, then it's fine." Tokoyami stated.

"Well, you seem to be the type of person who follows the rules." Izuku commented.

"Revelry in the dark." Tokoyami replied. Not sure why, but at least he said something.

Setsuna had a thoughtful expression on her face. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot to ask you this. Were the bionic arms that you have when using your jetpack are also part of your Quirk?"

Izuku was surprised that he heard that question. Something that he isn't ready to answer.

"Bionic arms?" Tokoyami repeated.

"I saw him use his Quirk at an abandoned construction site. He was flying so cool, and his bionic arms, or whatever you call them, makes him look cooler, to begin with." Setsuna summarized.

"So your Quirk lets you have technological gadgets? Man and robots have become one indeed." Tokoyami dramatically said in the last part.

"Although, I always had this thought that his robot arms are making and creating those kinds of gadgets." Setsuna was curious about it already. "Not really much of a techie gal, but those were just my thoughts."

"Perhaps Midoriya should explain about it right ahead. After all, he is the beholder of such Quirk." Tokoyami looked at Izuku.

Izuku had a nervous expression on his face, and he was sweating profusely. He had to think fast or otherwise they would think he was lying. "I knew that this was going to happen! I just need to remember what All Might told me. You already did this to Mom and Dad and they bought it, they can also buy it…"

Earlier, during Izuku's training…

"Young Midoriya, may I have a word with you for a moment?"All Might asked at a training Izuku.

Izuku stopped, "What's the matter, All Might? Is it something urgent?"

"No, no. It's not that. It's just a little thought that I had on my mind lately." All Might reassured politely. "If I remember right, your parents are wondering if you might be just a late bloomer if you have your own Quirk, right?"

Izuku nodded. "Actually, I was planning to tell them about how I was able to get these cuffs in the first place. But I was worried that they might think I'm crazy…"

"YOU ALREADY FORGOT?!" All Might shouted, with blood coming out. Izuku was scared by his out-bursting response.

"W-Wait, I-I shouldn't tell them that?" Izuku repeated in confusion.

"Yes, why do you think I told you about the whole history of those cuffs!" Izuku remembered when his brain smacked his head for remembrance with a shocked look. All Might sighed. "Okay… Seems like you don't know what to say, which is good. And I was lucky enough to warn you before you say it now."

"You're Quirk is too powerful, and it only just came from a pod. Telling your parents, or anyone, that your Quirk was just an artificial one and you found it by the dumpster will make you look like you're a crazy person since artificial Quirks are not real, but rather just a theory."

"Did something like this happen before?" Izuku asked.

"Yes, in fact, it did happen. One was the one who made those cuffs and a scientist in New Jersey who had a breakthrough about artificial Quirks existing, but he was sent to the asylum after."

Izuku looked pale that All Might casually say the part about someone being insane to believe that an artificial Quirk can exist, but is considered an insane belief.

"Get all that, kid?" Izuku nodded slowly. "Also, to add in some possible dangers, since your Quirk is considered to be an artificial one and came from said cuffs, this will be something that the government and the military will be interested in partake in."

"Partake in how?"

"Let's say… dissect your arms or maybe put you in an isolation room for testing for hours, days, weeks… Hell, even years! Surely, I know you won't like it." All Might note, which made Izuku look like he wants his soul to go away.

"S-So, what should I say then?"

"That's the part where I will simply explain it to you, but you need to keep on practicing it when someone asks." All Might instructed. "All you have to say is that your Quirk was…"

Back in the present…

"Those bionic arms that you saw Tokage, are just Support Items for my complicating and heavy Quirk called Bio Mass," Izuku explained, shortly and calmly.

Setsuna and Tokoyami were both intrigued by how his Quirk is. Nonetheless, they were actually buying his lie, which made Izuku want to know if they really believe him by their response.

"It's kinda of a shame that's how your Quirk is supposed to be, but it's still cool that I got to see you fly!" Setsuna was happy to experience that.

"I too was expecting that to happen, but I can see why you needed such equipment for your Quirk." Tokoyami was able to understand it as well. "Although if I can ask, did your Bio Mass Quirk awaken just now or way before then?"

"It just awakened during the start of summer," Izuku responded with another reasonable lie. "I had it checked at a Quirk doctor weeks ago."

"Revelry in the dark." And he repeated the same thing.

Izuku was relieved that they managed to buy his story. Regardless, he already did it to his parents they believe that his son is a late bloomer. He shouldn't really consider lying as an act of being a hero, but he had no choice.

While waiting in the lobby, Izuku and Tokoyami are the only ones seated, while Setsuna was called into a tryout for the Quirk output test, where she will use her Quirk to test how strong it is.

"I just hope Setsuna does well on her first try. She told me that her Quirk isn't that strong in many ways." Izuku hoped.

"What do you mean?" Tokoyami was curious.

"Her Quirk, Lizard Tail Splitter, isn't really that strong, to begin with since she can just communicate with them telekinetically, but they're only good for spying and for range combat," Izuku explained.

"So, her Quirk isn't that much useful in combat, but on support. Interesting to say." Tokoyami was impressed by her Quirk. "She's lucky that she doesn't have a complicated Quirk like mine."

Izuku raised a brow in confusion. "What kind of Quirk do you have, Tokoyami-san?"

"My Quirk is called Dark Shadow." The bird-headed emo lets out a shadow-covered, monster-bird being from his back. "I can control Dark Shadow in a way where it can be contracted freely. Dark Shadow effectively acts like Fumikage's personal guardian, listening to my every command."

"So cool!" Izuku was amazed with stars appearing on his eyes. "You're Quirk must be this powerful!"

"Oh, I am that powerful alright!" Dark Shadow talked, surprising Izuku. "As long as Tokoyami here knows what he's doing, then I can be that strong type of Quirk for him! I'm like the ultimate weapon!"

"I did not say you can be that strong, Dark Shadow. I just want you to cooperate, despite your weakness." Tokoyami retorted, in a monotone.

"I'm the one explaining here! Let me do my thing!" Dark Shadow yelled back, while his master just ignored him.

"Weakness? What kind of weakness?" Izuku asked.

"Too much light makes me weaker, but if I get into the deep darkness, I'll go crazy and wreck everything! It's like I have my own kryptonite!" Dark Shadow faced Tokoyami. "Although, that was the coolest thing you'll ever see from me, right?!"

"Do you even hear yourself, the darkness makes you violent, so I won't consider that as a fun thing for you, Dark Shadow," Tokoyami replied with a serious tone.

"Shut up!" Dark Shadow was not happy about it, and began ranting to his master. Meanwhile, Izuku was just looking at them with a nervous smile.

"Tokoyami and Dark Shadow are probably a powerful duo since it's like they are the brains and brawn into one." Izuku analyzed in his mind. It does sound much better when it's like that.

Later, Izuku and Tokoyami were both called in for the Quirk output tests, along with another set of students who are enrolling. This time, it was their turn, and Izuku was feeling a bit anxious about using his Quirk in public, even though he remembered what he heard from All Might.

"Alright Izuku, just remember: This is just a Quirk output test, so not using the bionic arms is also a good thing… Hopefully." Izuku reminded himself that Support Items are not allowed in the test. So, he clenched his fist as a sign that he will do it well.

"Okay, you two, remember that this is a test for Quirk so using how much power you have won't be a problem for the two of you. You start when you are ready." A robot announced, gaining a nod from the duo.

"Dark Shadow, you know what to do," Tokoyami ordered, as Dark Shadow came out from his body and grew bigger. Then, two large lights began to flash around the dark being, only for him to get weaker.

"Hold it in, Dark Shadow. It will be over soon." Dark Shadow was doing his best, despite the slightly irritated groaning. Once the large lights stopped flashing, the numbers started to go off as it collected its data.

"Fumikage Tokoyami. Quirk output percentage: 84.3 percent!"

"At last…" Tokoyami commented, with Dark Shadow relieved from the lights being gone.

"It's your turn now, Midoriya-san." The robot announced as it revealed some sort of red-colored circular cushion that looked like a punching bag.

"May your best do well, Midoriya," Tokoyami said, with Izuku nodding in agreement.

"Okay, Izuku… You got this. Just remember how will you do it." Izuku takes a deep breath, as he clenched his fist as his cuff blinked a blue dot as a sign of activation, which no one in the room noticed.

And with that, the green-haired boy punched the red cushion in front of him, as his entire fist was almost sucked inside. The other students participating have their faces reacted as a sign.

"Izuku Midoriya. Quirk output percentage: 230 percent."

This impressed few of the other students like Tokoyami, while the rest are in complete disbelief that someone was able to pull out such a powerful move, like Izuku's completely shocked face.

"That kid almost pulled out something like that?"

"I thought that this was an output test, was he wearing a Support Item?!"

"Not really though, I mean, the guy looks like he used all of his power for that."

"I… didn't know that this how my Quirk would act without the bionic arms." Izuku, along with Tokoyami who are both leaving the room, was in disbelief that his Quirk was able to release that much power. "This can't be like last time what I did to Bakugo, right?"

"I'm impressed by how powerful your Quirk is, Midoriya. You have risen and slay with your Quirk." Tokoyami commented on his Quirk's power.

Then, Setsuna walked up to them. "So, how did your tests go? Was it getting you nervous?"

"For me, a little bit. But Midoriya was able to let out such immense power." Tokoyami explained.

"W-Well, its not really like that, Tokoyami-san! I-I just didn't know m-my own strength, that's a-all." Izuku stammered.

"Revelry in the dark." Is he gonna keep saying that?"

"I knew that you're Quirk makes you look strong. First the really good flying, and a power punch! What's next that's going to be the coolest thing in you, huh?" Setsuna praised, which only made Izuku feel so shy her sudden praising.

So far, he was lucky that he didn't really show off his blasters, otherwise, it'll be a different story for everyone to see.

"Hey, isn't that the kid who saved that guy last time?"

"Ha! I knew there was something up with that kid! It was his hair that got the attention!"

"Damn, talk about chasing your dreams. He really is a late bloomer."

Despite the few snickers, gossip, and the disbelief from the many other participants, Izuku was getting a bit embarrassed that he was being the huge talk of the town because of his powers.

It's a good thing that Setsuna and Tokoyami didn't start talking about it yet, or otherwise, it will be a…

"I still can't believe that you almost got like, thirty-five videos about you." Setsuna suddenly added, causing Izuku to go pale. "Even the memes are increasingly high!"

"I agree. Although anyone watching that video should use that as a lesson in being a hero one day." Tokoyami somehow said in a wise way of a kind. It made Izuku feel thankful.

At least there are two of his friends that approve of what he did.

000000

Three days later was a lot harder and more difficult for the boy himself. Ever since he managed to master half of the book with all his blood and sweat, and it only made him start to think about it more critically as it was only giving him a headache. Plus, he was having a hard time trying to master the execution on each of the combat moves.

Izuku may have wanted to enjoy his vacation, but all that hard work pushed him to the fact that his nerves are swirling him up mentally over and over. And it really is more stressful than painful.

The only thing he can do is put the book down, get out of the apartment and do some exploring around Musutafu. Despite that, he will have to repeat it over again to make sure he still got it all right without holding the book.

During the long walk from home, he felt his stomach rumble. And he was lucky that there was a place nearby to deal with the problem.

The boy entered a fusion of a music/snacks store type. The entire place was filled with many types of music genres, bands, and other albums both from the Quirk and Pre-Quirk era. However, Izuku isn't really the type who will grab an album and walk off. He was the type who would just find a place that's all food.

Which was happening just now.

"Man, I could go for some snacks after my long training…" Izuku began looking around in the snack aisle as he tried to find something to eat, but all of them weren't that interesting until he noticed his two favorite snacks.

Matcha-flavored daifuku and a bag of nori-flavored Lays chips. Not because they're green and all, but they were the best snacks that he had ever eaten while growing up.

Although, they look and sound delicious. All he has to do is pick one.

"Okay, so there has to be a good way that I can remember from these two: A daifuku and some chips. Okay, Izuku… You got this." He eventually began muttering. "That daifuku looks good to begin with, and I always remember that it has a heavy flavor. Although the nori chips do have a strong aftertaste and everything so this must be good. But I need to at least save some money for the ride back home, but I can't decide. If only they were cheaper, I wouldn't have to choose them. I could have I just bought some just and all, but I was ?Surelynotsincethey'renothardfoodandall, but—"

"Dude, you might wanna tone down the muttering. It's going to creep anyone who hears it." Izuku stopped talking and glanced behind him to the one person behind him. "Besides, I can hear six feet away from you."

Izuku turned his head around to see a short girl behind him with a glaring expression. The short girl happens to be purple-haired with some sort of heartbeat line on the side and has jacks under her earlobes. She was wearing some sort of rocker-style attire, which describes the leather boots.

"I-I-I'm sorry for dist-t-turbing you! I hope I-I didn't do anything to freak you out!" Izuku stammered but apologized.

"Hey man, it's cool, okay." She was slightly disturbed by the way he reacted, but he let it go. "I was just saying in case anyone comes in here, they won't be bothered by your creepy voice. No offense."

"N-None taken." He was very embarrassed, so eye contact will have to come back for a long time.

The purple-haired girl raised an eyebrow. "Hey, don't mind me asking, but… aren't you the guy who saved someone from that hammer villain?"

Great, another one. When will it end? "Yes… That was me…"

"Dude, you were, like, a great inspiration to anyone out there!" The purple girl exclaimed, much to Izuku's surprised eyes. "Well, some of them at least. But back to my point, saving that guy while there aren't any heroes around makes you a total badass! I mean, sure those assholes can say whatever the hell they want about you, but you sound like a hero in my book." Izuku was blushing madly from her comments. "Hey, you, okay? You look red."

"Yeah, I am. I'm just… not really used to compliments." Izuku answered.

"Ah, my bad then. But you should be proud of what you did, though." The purple girl said regardless. "By the way, how come you were so stressed? I mean, I get it that it's summer, but you might have a tiring summer job, right?"

This time, Izuku has to answer, regardless of meeting this new stranger. "It's not that. I was training for the entrance exam at UA. I enrolled myself, and I was training my fighting skills so I won't screw it up once I get in. Although, I didn't know that I would get too stressed and tired about it."

The purple-haired girl understood why he was acting like this, and surprisingly enough, she was… well surprised as well on why he was stressed.

"Huh, guess we're going to the same school, too. But aren't you aware that you might get in?" She questioned his luck just in case.

Izuku answered, not as confident about the entrance exam results. "I'm kinda confident that I might get in. I worked hard to make sure it happens."

"I knew that you would answer that." The purple girl sighed. "I was training for the entrance exam too, but I was worried that my Quirk won't be cut out for the entire entrance exam."

"Your Quirk? You mean the…" he gestured his own ears. "The ones under your earlobes?"

"Yeah, this is my Quirk, to begin with." The jacks started to move on their own. "My Quirk's called Earphone Jack, basically It acts like a literal earphone jack, like hearing and stuff, but I can hear noises from long distances. I can even blast a powerful sound with my heartbeat, so it's also a huge combo for me."

"That's amazing! You're Quirk can be useful for stealth interrogations and looking for people in need of help from far distances!" Izuku happily started to explain, until it dropped. "But, aren't you aware about your heartbeat? Does it affect your heart, too?"

"Yep, that's one giant downside to my Quirk, so it's a huge bummer for me." She sadly stated until she raised her hand. "Luckily I used all my allowance to buy myself a Support Item for my Quirk."

Her watch started to transform into a gauntlet-shaped amplifier with two speakers. She placed her Earphone Jack on the gauntlet as it started vibrating in a powerful current. Izuku was amazed by what he saw.

"Amazing, right? I call them the Queen's Fist. Not because I'm a girl, named after the band itself." Kyoka explained. "I bet you got some Support Items yourself too since you got that jetpack that made you fly."

"W-Well, all I do have is this." Izuku showed her the 'Support Items' he has and transformed out his bionic arms.

"Dude, those look neat! Are they wristbands or something? Something for your Quirk to support in?"

"Yeah, it actually is." he lied, but he must understand why. "They help me carry my heavy arms when I'm using my Muscle Mass Quirk."

"Rad. Looks like yours is cooler than mine." The purple-haired girl joked, which made Izuku chuckle a bit. "Oh, by the way, I'm Kyoka Jirou. Nice to meet you by the way."

"I'm Izuku Midoriya. It's also nice to see you too, Jirou-san." Izuku was happy that he made another friend right after Setsuna and Tokoyami. And it was all in a week.

"Hey, since we're now kind of close, I'm buying you a drink. As a start of a good friendship." Kyoka offered. "You 'kay with that?"

Izuku nodded softly. "That will be nice and all, but I don't think I should take it."

"Come on, this is a sign of my gratitude," Kyoka interjected.

Izuku has nothing else to say, so he just said. "Sure. Why not. I could go for a lime soda."

"Knew you would accept it."

Monday has come once again and passed for Izuku to remember. Today is the day where he demonstrates his fighting style - or original fighting style rather - to All Might. He was still a bit nervous about it, but today is the day where he demonstrates his improvements.

"Okay, Young Midoriya, now that it has been two weeks, I believe that today will be the day where you show your improved fighting skills to me." All Might said, in his muscular form as he gets into fighting. "Remember No holding back, since I am indestructible and all." That is… slightly true.

Izuku nodded, and he got into a fighting stance as well with his bionic arms out. Once the makeshift timer which is a fire alarm starts to set off its signal, it commences the battle between him and All Might.

The boy started to deliver the attack first by flying himself to the Symbol of Peace with his jetpack. Once he flew straight at him, Izuku didn't punch him like last time but rather delivered a side kick to the body, which gave Izuku more time to deliver a left hook punch to his face.

All Might smiled, despite the slight bruise on his face. He was impressed by Izuku's process. "Seems you did improve, Young Midoriya. However, you need to show more than just that." He readied himself as he delivered a Super Move. "Texas Smash!"

All Might throws a right punch with enough force that the wind pressure sends most things flying away, but it was keeping Izuku's vision blocked due to the wind pressure blocking it. Once the dust was settled, he noticed All Might in the air who was about to attack him that could possibly be a California Smash, a Super Move All Might used once on a criminal while he was in America.

Immediately, Izuku flew up to the air at great speeds, missing All Might's chance. Knowing that he is this powerful, Izuku used this type of tactic that sounded almost like a suicidal way: He started to deactivate his jetpack, bring in his arm blaster and started to aim at All Might.

"Wait, why is he falling? Is he trying to get killed…" he knew what he was up to, "Wait… why does he have his blaster out?"

Unfortunately, his thoughts were distracting him long enough as All Might received multiple plasma blasts from Izuku's arm blaster, but at a slow pace. However, the plasma blasts were starting to create a large dust cloud that covered All Might entirely.

All Might was on his battle stance once again, and he was acting very vigilant. There were no footsteps or his jetpack creating a sound barrier of some sort. But it was quiet.

Really quiet…

"Where could you go, Young Midoriya. It's going to take a lot of ways to get me pinned down since I have encountered something like this before…"

All of the sudden, Izuku popped out from the smoke and delivered a straight uppercut to the Symbol of Peace, which was effective due to the combined force and bionic arms. Quickly, Izuku charged in and started to punch his way through All Might, not in the way where he finally practiced combat.

"Not yet!" All Might grabbed Izuku's arm, and punched his gut straight with his left, sending him away.

Izuku shrugged off the pain and immediately launched himself once again with his jetpack to deliver a downward punch at the Symbol of Peace, pinning him to the ground. He aimed his mentor with a left-arm blaster to make sure his finally pinned down.

Izuku was panting in exhaustion, but it was all worth it to the end. All Might, on the other hand, formed a smile on his face and it only meant something.

"Excellent performance, Young Midoriya!" All Might stood up from the ground and exclaimed, he was happy about the progress that the boy undergoes by himself. "You truly learned all this by yourself, and here I thought you'll just run onto me and give me soft taps." He really needs to tone down his choice of words.

"Thank you, All Might…" Izuku breathed, still exhausted so he sat down. "I… couldn't have done it without someone who helped with it…"

"Pray tell, who is this 'someone' that helped you in your training?" All Might asked. "Is it someone like a friend perhaps? Surely, a kid like you must have many friends with that gifted intelligence."

Izuku glanced away and gave off a small frown. As school goes, they will never hang out with a nerd unless he has friends that are like him. But since the Quirk-era, they live in is so different, nerds with Quirks will never hang out with a Quirkless nerd.

It was painful to hurt, and anyone can relate to that.

"Well… my dad wrote a book about fighting, so I based everything that I read," Izuku answered honestly.

"Hmm… I see. Although, it is really nice to see your father helping you in your path of becoming a hero." He remarked. "Your father is also basically strong. Strong in helping you go to the path you choose."

Izuku smiled. While it was true that his father was them to help him and his mom around, he was always to support his son no matter how rough and tough it gets.

"Anyway, since your training is now complete, it's safe to say that you are now the worthy vessel of my Quirk variant. And I could've never been this prouder in my entire life." All Might check his phone. "Also, if I'm not wrong, the Entrance Exam is going to start in about thirty minutes."

Izuku can hear his brain yelling now to get going. Eventually, he started to freak out. "Gah! I'm going to be late! I-I need to get going, All Might!" he grabbed his backpack and started to leave. "I'll see you later at UA!"

"Good luck, Young Midoriya! Now, run as fast as you can! Run like you mean it!" All Might dramatically exclaim as well as Izuku was now gone, heading off to UA."Good luck indeed, young man. You need it entirely…"

And now, for the final chapter: The Entrance Exam. Will Izuku succeed on his first day, or will it get bizarre since he has bionic arms with him? Find out soon.

So, some notes here and there, and mainly to start it off is the purpose of this chapter: There aren't any action fights or anything related to that, but I am focusing on the characters that Izuku encountered as his future friends. Supposed it was gonna be the original: Iida, Uraraka, and Tsuyu. But I decided to not do that since that friendship exists in the canon version.

To add, since Izuku's Quirk is like a mutant/transformation, and the rest that he encountered throughout the chapter are also mutant-types, then I want to put him in that perspective in his list of friends. But don't worry, there are other characters that will also have interactions with Izuku that aren't just mutant types. Originally, I was about to put Yo Shindo as his close friend and not Tokoyami, but I'll use him someday.

To add one more for the last, I am also going to give him friends in other anime. I had an idea for an MHA crossover that is basically connected to this, but I'm still working on it.

The part where Izuku shows off his practiced combat to All Might is not really inspired by something, it was all in my head. It felt and sounded original since all Izuku does in the canon for his training is to bulk up his body. So, I decided to give him this kind of montage as a way for him to get prepared.

Also, I did add in some foreshadowing, but I always believed it's only one. I won't say it, but you'll just have to find it from the dialogues. It might start giving all of you some questions, to begin with.

Anyway, that's all I have to say. Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Please review and support my story! Bye!
