Hello dear readers, and I got some good news! I'm almost done with the school year so I got two weeks before I get to summer and prepare for college. However, I only have two weeks left to wait and a month to wait for graduation, so yeah, it's still vacation and I'm free from all that.

Since this story is going on a hiatus, I just wanted to say that I'm very thankful to have a lot of people supporting this story, and in fact, this was the first things that I ever expected if I write my first book. Also, this chapter is WAY long so I did a lot of hard work into it, made some revisions and added some alternate dialogue and scenarios here and there.

Anyway, now that's over with. Please, enjoy.

CHAPTER 5

Entrance Exam

It was the first and annual start of UA's Entrance Exam. The large building is consisted with about massive concrete and reinforced steel that looked like it took years to prepare whose many windows reflected the clear blue sky. It wasn't really shaped like the letters U and A, but it looked like a fortress filled with experience professors with superpowers of their own.

Students across from different schools are all entering as they don't want to waste time. Some of them weren't really nervous about entering in the most prestigious school for the first time.

Well, except for him.

Izuku dashed his way to the entrance outside of the building, breathing exhaustedly as he finally made it. "Finally, made it just in time." He started to walk his way inside with the rest of the students.

Upon walking his way inside the building, Izuku's face was already expressing a nervous look, probably due to the fact that this was his first time and the first time participating in the Entrance Exam. "I'm just glad that I was able to train all the best I can during those past few months…" he sighed, "I just hope that this day won't get any worse. No, don't think like that! Let's just hope that all that training that I had will be worth it. Yeah. Does… that sound good?"

He isn't sure. All he remembers was just heading inside the building and sign up for the enrollment in UA. The one thing that he was nervous about is how will the Entrance Exam will look like. All he could do is just go with the flow and wait how what it looks like once he gets in.

"Hey, Midoriya? Is that you?" Izuku heard the familiar voice, which caught his attention. "Dude, I didn't know that we'll be seeing each other again!"

"O-Oh, I'm the same with you, Tokage-san." Izuku said, trying to keep his composure and his blushing habit stable. Although, his smile can tell that he was nervous to talk to a girl again.

"So, you interested for the exam? Cause I am. I learned a few tricks from myself." Setsuna sounded she was born ready. "Although, I can tell that you're ready, too. Besides, it's not like you're gonna chicken out or anything, right?"

"N-Not really… I'm acutally ready for this so there's no turning back now." He looked at his hand and clenched it. "I already made it this far so I'm not stepping back, not even a bit."

"Hmm…" she hummed. That's unfortunate. "Seems like you're building up for confidence, huh? Don't tell me that you trained to look cool for the exam too, huh?" she teased, and it only made Izuku started to blush, which made her quickly act by this. "Hey, Midoriya. Come on, I was just kidding! But you do kinda need it. The exam is gonna get wild."

Izuku's red face faded away, and was confused. "Wait. What do you mean?"

"Well, I heard from my cousin's best friend, who had a little brother went to UA before, that the test is going to get a lot different." She answered. Izuku was stunned by the revelation. "I don't know the rest, but that's all I know from her."

"Well… that could explain the hard training that everyone put themselves into." Izuku guess, but he hoped that were true. "UA is a prestigious school, and it make sense that this will be the outcome of the…"

"Stupid Deku. Get out of my way." Bakugo called out and walked in front of him, pushing his left arm at Deku.

"K-Kachan." Izuku replied.

"Hey! You didn't have to push him. At least apologize!" Setsuna yelled to get Bakugo's attention, but the ash-blonde just brings out the finger as a response. It made the splitting girl irritated.

"Hey, isn't that the guy who was caught by the Sludge Villain?"

"Yeah, but let's ignore that, the kid who saved someone is actually here in UA!"

"Heh. Guess he really did believe that dreams can come true."

There were a few people talking about Izuku, which he didn't mind. He was actually worried that his childhood friend was here to accomplish his goal. It made him almost got lost for words.

"What a dickhead, can't you believe that, Midoriya? Who does he think he is?" Setsuna let out a short growl. "It makes me wanna punch him so badly for that!"

"W-Wait! K-Kachan was just tired." Izuku reasoned. "Yeah, that's it! H-He was just tired from his training for UA. Besides, I can understand that he was already exhausted to the point he a-acting rough on others, even to me."

"What? Do you seriously think that just because he was tired from his training he can act like a big jerk? What a joke." Setsuna doubted as she was disbelieved to hear that from him. "Besides, he called you Deku. I don't know if you guys know each other, but all I know is that guy is a huge asshole."

"H-He knows why he is like that…" Izuku muttered, which Setsuna heard.

"I'm like your close friend now, so it's my job to watch your back. That jackass deserves to get a sucker punch to the throat." Setsuna coldly stated. Izuku was confused; They're now close friends? That's odd since he only met her in one day.

"Anyway, I gotta save my energy for the test. Hope we can meet each other inside, too." Setsuna walked away, "See you later, Midoriya."

"Good luck, Tokage-san!" Izuku waved back. However, his attention went back to his mind which focuses on his childhood friend. "Ever since Kacchan was captured by the Sludge Villain, and the time I accidentally hurt him, he started to go easy on me." He was trying to find an answer. "I guess I was just scared that it happened." He thought that would be the answer, but it felt like it wasn't.

Shaking his head to get rid of those kinds of thoughts, he went back to reality. "But I'm not defenseless anymore. I have to remember all the training that put myself into." His legs were shaking, but he made a move regardless.

But unfortunately, he suddenly tripped. This was it. "Or I guess I'll die…" he expected to meet his face to the hard, solid ground. But instead, he just froze there. How?

"Are you okay?" A feminine voice that almost sounded high-pitched asked, which caused the bionic armed boy to panic. The brunette girl grabbed him to make sure he was standing back to the ground. "I'm sorry if I didn't ask permission to use my Quirk, but you were about to fall so I had to use it." She reassured.

"O-Oh, no! It's fine, really!" Izuku reassured back. He was thankful that he doesn't have to relive the memory of how he failed. "T-Thank you."

"No problem. Besides, if we're going to be heroes, why not save someone, right?" The brunette stated, which left Izuku having an effect on what she said. "Anyway, I have to go, so good luck out there."

Izuku felt proud of what she said. If they are going to be future heroes, why not save someone without being one, right?

He knew that there weren't other people who would just stand by the sidewalk and watch everything fall to the ground since they believe that heroes are doing their job and they're fine with that.

He's got this. He got this inside the bag. He can do his best out there. Plus, from what he did from the beginning where he grabbed those cuffs in the first place sounded like what an origin story is.

Izuku Midoriya has got this!

No sweat.

"Hey, it's that weird kid from TikTok. Strange, isn't it?"

Izuku's head dropped, and the trend was existing. All he can do is remember what the girl said after saving him.

Look at the bright side, at least he didn't fall to the ground on his face. It would be more embarrassing than he'll wet his pants.

000000

Inside UA's lecture room. About twenty or thirty-something students were all seated as they began to wait for what was going to happen next. But the majority of everyone inside is expecting the orientation to start with the Entrance Exam, since that's how that works during their previous school years.

Izuku, and a few other students, entered the lecture hall. To his surprise, what caught him is the many students that are applying, "Wow! There's so many! There has to be a hundred of them that are really applying!"

He never knew that he was amazed to see this. He was actually amazed that UA was really this big to ever even exist. This school isn't really a school, it's like an actual baseball field! Which is something that Hisashi always loved.

Scanning for any vacant seats, Izuku can only see that the seats were being taken quickly as possible. "I have to act fast. I just wish there is a seat that's…" he found one already. "Guess there's no choice… I have to sit or I'll get caught."

His seatmate was Bakugo himself. He encountered him for the second time. He can't tell if the world is giving him bad luck. But he didn't even do anything!

He had no choice. Izuku decided to sit down beside the Pomeranian maniac and decide to not make a single word to him, and not even look at him with direct eye contact. "Should I say something?" he guessed as he glanced at him, but he can tell that Bakugo has an irritated look on his face. Maybe it wasn't the best time for that.

He glanced away and looked sad. "Maybe I shouldn't…" Good call, Izuku!

The constant chattering and unnecessary noises were interrupted when the lights around the lecture room started to flicker with the lights turning on, even a large screen was seen presented to the students. To add more, a tall man started to walk up to the stage with a big and hearty smile on his face.

This man had long blond hair, which he wears spiked upwards in a large tuft behind his head, and a small brown mustache. His Hero costume on the other hand screamed the words 'loud', which consisted of a black jacket and matching pants and knee-high boots. He even has elbow pads, black fingerless gloves, large headphones, and orange-tinted shades for accessories. To add more, he has a device around his neck that looked like a speaker.

Everything that he wore around his body screamed the definition and the word 'loud' as if it was a humanoid. His theme was more of a DJ/Rocker type.

"What's up UA candidates! Thank you for tuning in to me, your school DJ for today!" the Hero thrust his arms into the air. As if he was speaking into rhymes, which sounded cool. "COME ON, LET ME HEAR YOU SAY HEY!"

"…" Not even a single word came out from the many students seated. While they worked hard for the entrance exam day and night, it would be best that they shouldn't say anything since this was the moment, they came in for. Plus, it'll make them look lame.

The Pro didn't even feel affected as he just stood there to make sure they say something, but so far: Nothing. It made him feel shocked. "I see, we're keeping it mellow, huh? Don't worry, we'll skip the introductions. Right now, let's talk about the practical exam for the road, okay?" He made a rocker pose to show that he is pointing at them. "ARE YOU REEEEAADDYYYYY!?"

Just like earlier, the students just went silent to his responses for the second time, especially Izuku. However, the bionic armed boy was starting to release his fanboy mode when he caught his attention to the loud hero.

"Oh my gosh, it's Present Mic!" Izuku whispered happily as he started. "The Voice Hero! He's so cool! I can't believe that he's actually in UA to help us! He's known for his famous music and songs that he made! He may not be one of the top Heroes, but he's very well known! I even listen to his podcast every day in a week! It's so cool…" and he keeps on going.

"Will you shut up, or I'll fucking kill you," Bakugo growled, which made the fanboying cease.

"Sorry, Kacchan…" he muttered, but Bakugo didn't care what he said. Izuku can tell that from the look at the ash-blonde boy, he was taking this seriously. "He really is taking this seriously. He's not the only one here who wanted to pass the exam, but everyone too." He guessed, but knowing the silence earlier, it only means he was right.

Izuku listened back to Present Mic, who was halfway finished to what he said. "… After I drop the mic, you'll head to the specified battle centers written in your cards, sounds good?!"

Everyone grabbed their cards and analyzed them, each letter was given to them of their own from A to G. Everyone went silent, but they listened to what they had to know about the exam's instructions.

"OKAY?!"

Bakugo let out a small scoff, but it sounded annoyed. "They're splitting us up differently."

Izuku checked his card. Everything was there from his name, age, and all the stuff that's on his info card. However, he noticed the given location on his card: 'Battle Center B', while he checked from Bakugo's where he is located at Center A. "I see now. We're assigned of their choosing."

He only wished he was in Center A, so he can observe his childhood friend excel in the exam with his Explosion Quirk. However, knowing that the rules are plain and simple, he has no other choice but to just take what he has, whether he likes it or not. However, he needs to know that friendly aid from other students will not be included.

Before Izuku could say anything, like a compliment or a friendly quote, he was cut off by Bakugo's glare as he darted his own card. "Damn… I was this close to crushing you." He sounded so desperate to kill Deku without thinking twice about what will happen to him.

Izuku just looked at him nervously. He still doesn't know that his childhood friend is joking or really in UA to just kill him. So far, he was thinking about the first part.

Moving on to the orientation that Present Mic is giving, he explained that in every battle center, there are different types of enemies, which are actually mock robots. The robots were assigned different points based on how difficult they got once the students face them. One thing that wasn't allowed was attacking other examinees.

Izuku understood the instructions perfectly, and the only thing he can think of right now is that this will be simple to him no matter what. Considering that his cuffs gave him a pair of powerful bionic arms, blasters, and a jetpack, Izuku has to focus on nothing but keep on moving no matter what.

So far, his mouth formed a smile. He knows that he isn't there to compete with everyone, but he just has to keep on moving forward to make sure he can keep up with the rest, and that sounded simpler and easier as it sounds. What could possibly go wrong?

"Okay, seems easy enough for me, since my Quirk has different kinds of gadgets. I can just fly in there to avoid the most difficult robots, and maybe use my kickboxing combat at them but I need to be quick enough so I won't get cornered. Oh, I can also blast the ground to create a manhole for the more difficult ones! There are so many ideas but…"

"Excuse me, sir! But I have a question!"

"Hit me!"

With Present Mic pointing at the examinee and a light flashing under him, Izuku looked at the examinee who sounded brave and the only one who broke the silence since the Hero introduced himself. The examinee was a tall and broad-shouldered blue-haired young man who has a neat hairstyle, eyeglasses, and a different kind of school uniform.

With the examinee called, he held the paper gently like a baby and began explaining in a serious matter. "On the printout, you listed four types of villains, not three!" His tone was too serious, that he will make sure to correct anyone with all his strength, and vocal cords. "With all due respect, if this is an official error on UA materials, it is shameful!"

He clutched his right hand to his chest, where he really felt shameful unlike the rest of the examinees around. "We are exemplary students! We expect the best from Japan's most notable school!" he brings up his left fist in outrage. "A mistake like this will not do!"

After that, he pointed to someone, clearly, he wasn't done. "And you, with the unkempt hair!"

An aghast Izuku was shocked. "What did I do? I haven't said anything to him."

"You've been muttering the entire time! Stop that! If you don't wish to take this seriously, then leave! You're distracting the rest of us!" the teen shouted sternly.

Somehow, it made Izuku have a feeling: Consisting of annoyance and frustration. He was listening to the entire orientation, started to go full fanboy, and then the Extra-Eyed Sonic started to interrupt as well. "W-Well… You also interrupted Present Mic by shouting! So, this is your fault, too."

So close, if he learned how to make a joke, or a quip out some references or names from movies. But he decided to not be a victim, but to state the truth. However, the comeback that he said was not part of his training, he just remembered something from his dad way back.

"Someday Izuku, you'll have to learn how to grow a backbone of your own. I mean, not all the time, you can just stay quiet all the time you like. You need to learn to say something back if you're being bullied, or rather being called out for something small…"

And it worked. Almost.

The blue-haired examinee was offended as if he was smacked on the head really hard. "I was just… I needed a clarification…" he started to stammer, clearly, he was trying to turn the tables which is a bad thing for his personality.

Then, it was followed by a couple of snickers and muttering, where they call the blue-haired student nothing but a complete weirdo, or some perfectionist that took it too far. They even said that he could've just asked the question like a normal person would do.

"Alright, alright! Settle down, young listeners!" Present Mic was next to interrupt. "First of all, thank you for that question, Examinee Number 7111…"

The Voice Hero explained that the error from what he said was rather a zero-pointer, which is considered zero-points, which is, again, considered pretty useless, so they can just avoid that thing like it's a bug.

The other examinees taught it's like a videogame, so it was pretty simple for those who played videogames over and over.

As Present Mic ends the orientation, he added the sample of the school's motto. "… You ready to go beyond… LET'S HEAR A PLUS ULTRA!" he yelled out.

Back to Izuku, he still felt embarrassed after what he just pulled, but he needed that so he can learn that being confident is a tool for his stuttering personality.

However, he didn't really expect this to happen in his first day in UA. He screwed up his first impression.

000000

At Battle Center B, all the students that are assigned in that center looked in awe to see the large gates in front of them. Izuku, on the other hand, shivered in fear and sweated a bit.

"You have to keep together, Izuku. This is what you wanted and trained for. Remember what All Might trained you!" he brings up his hands to his cheeks and slapped them to get rid of the nervousness around him.

He gulped down after remembering exactly what Present Mic told everyone. "Okay, it's a Mock Battle…" he looked at the other examinees. "They seem so confident about it. Are they really that good? Some of them even have special gear to support themselves."

This reflected Izuku a bit, looking down at his wristband-disguised cuffs. "But mine is a Quirk that was revealing, but it's keeping it from showing itself in the open… I wish I can show the world one day that my Quirk came from somewhere else." Izuku pondered to that wish. "One day, I will…"

"Hey, uh… is it okay if I have your time for a while?" a blonde-haired boy wearing a top hat with blue goggles on top. "Actually… it's more of a talk about what you did earlier at the orientation."

Izuku wasn't fond with talking to strangers, except for Setsuna and Tokoyami, but the examinee that he is encountering right now seemed polite. "Oh… Uh, s-sure. What is it you want to talk about?"

"In case if you feel embarrassed about what you did: Don't be." The blonde said, to which Izuku was about to ask, only to get interrupted by the latter. "Actually, I noticed you and your girlfriend talking, then some ash-blonde shithead pushed you over. Then you started to let that habit of yours to go off, until the human Sonic decided to break the silence, and scold you like he can be better until you decided to talk back about him."

Izuku was lost for words. Someone managed to listen to all that?! And was complimenting him for what he said, too! That's… unexpected for him. "H-How much did you hear?"

"Like, a lot actually." The top-hat blonde answered truthfully. "I really hate those kinds of people, taking things too seriously and it gets them over their heads. Them, and rich people."

"H-How come? I mean, I get that the reason why you hate them, but what made you think like that?" Izuku asked.

The top-hat blonde sighed. "There will be a time where I'll talk about that. I'm sorry if I brought up my observation about you."

"D-Don't be! It's okay! I understand why you did it, I just… never got used to it until now." Izuku moved his hands around in reassurance. "Oh, by the way, I'm Izuku Midoriya." He reached his hand. "It's nice to meet you."

"Same here." The top-hatted blonde mispronounced his name. "Names…"

"ALRIGHT, LET'S GET STARTED!" Everyone heard the voice of Present Mic, gaining their attention as the exam is about to start. Present Mic is located on top of the tower as he started to turn his left arm around like crazy. "GET MOVING! THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL BATTLES! RUN! RUN, RUN, RUN LITTLE LISTENER, TIME'S A WASTIN'!"

Izuku looked confused at what he said until he looked back to the other examinees, who are now behind him. This, however, got him to have a shocked look on his face as he gasped.

"I'M ALREADY BEHIND?!" He all saw them speed their pace to the entrance. Then, he got an idea. "Wait! I can just use my jetpack instead to get in there quick!" Izuku activated his Quirk as his bionic arms and jetpack are now out in the open.

The bionic armed boy boosted his way to the entrance he made it through the gate within a second. However, he didn't want to boost his jetpack's speed so he just flew at its regular, yet fast speed.

He just wanted to pass the exam and get into the school that he worked hard to train, not to compete with others.

"Good thing my legs are still tired from my final training with All Might."

000000

Setsuna was finding the test on her first day with mixed feelings.

One, she was in Center B, so basically, she had to boost up her entire strength and focus for her to use her Lizard Tail Splitter. Two, she saw Izuku talking to a steampunk version Abraham Lincoln earlier so she wanted to talk to Izuku before the exam started, but it didn't even happen. Three, she was dealing with one-pointer robots, five of them to be exact. And six…

"Heh, heh… Good thing my cousin is a skilled inventor in New York." Setsuna's floating hands grabbed the interior of the two robots each, as she aggressively pulled the wires behind their heads as she deactivated their power, making them limp on the ground. "Thanks again for making me destroy your stuff, Dakutiru." She grinned like a maniac.

As she deactivated two more one-pointers, she started to do the math in her head. "So, since they're all one-pointers, and I took out twenty, and a pair of two-pointers… Then that makes it about… twenty-eight points! So close, but…"

Her eyes widened as she was swatted by a three-pointer's large hands, sending her flying and dragging to the ground. The splitter girl groaned in pain. "Okay… mental note, count faster, Setsuna…"

"Jesus, our Quirks are no match for that three-pointer!"

"It's like it knows our every move! How's that even possible?!"

"UA's kinda cheating, to say the least."

Hearing the other examinees whine also wants her to point out her opinion. As she got up to the face of the powerful-three pointer, she observed that the robot doesn't have any open gaps to rip open, or any openings to slip her hands into… Ha! Perv jokes, she was cracking a smile.

Suddenly, a quick blur placed, or welded rather, six small cylinder objects on the three-pointer's body. The welded objects placed on the robot shorted out a large current of electricity, which made the three-pointer shut down immediately.

Setsuna was stunned to see what just happened. She turned to face a boy with spiked-up black hair and a headband around his forehead. "Hey, thanks for saving us back there. Didn't knew you were able to do that."

"Oh, uh… about that… I wasn't really helping you guys, I was just there for the points." The headbanded kid just glared. "I'm already getting thirty-five points so I need at least more points to reach a higher number to get passed you all."

"I likely doubted, since you sounded like another jackass. You're Quirk isn't that strong, though… it's useful." Setsuna taught on her head and hummed at his answer. "Well, that's understandable. Hey listen, is it cool if you have anything sharp, or something like a stabbing weapon that cut those robots like butter."

"Oh, yeah. As long as we don't see each other." He grabbed a few parts from the three-pointer and quickly used his Quirk to craft something. "Here. These sharp blades will do the trick. Now, I gotta go, so… don't wait up on me!"

Before he is able far away from the Setsuna, the headbanded boy was startled by a seemingly destroyed two-pointer. "Gah!" he yelled out, and it sounded like a girl. He shook his head in annoyance. "Come on, Yosetsu! Keep it together!" he chastised himself.

Ignoring the scared wuss that is Yosetsu, Setsuna stared at the sharp blades she received. "Shit… no wonder I forgot something; my weapons are back in my room!"

Surprisingly enough, that was the sixth part of her mixed feelings: She had weapons, which could be likely to support her and her Quirk.

"I wonder how Midoriya is taking all the pressure in this?"

000000

"HEY, LISTENERS! HURRY UP!" the Loud Hero announced. "Those robots are endless and they'll keep coming, so mind as well do your best and let out everything you have in you!" he sighed a bit, putting down the megaphone and letting out a small smile. "So far, this test is going so well for the examinees today." Like earlier, no one paid attention to him, especially the proctors.

"Clearly the examinees have no idea how many the villains are, the where their locations are." A voice said, which came from a mysterious creature with white fur.

He was no other than the principal of UA; Nezu. An unknown creature was experimented by human scientists, which left him with a scar that made him have a reminder of where he started off. He isn't a cat, dog, and not even a raccoon/mouse/rat hybrid. He was strange.

"Indeed, this should also be a lesson in case they are ready for the future." Toshinori Yagi, known as All Might in his skinny form, commented on the students' future.

"However," the skinny Symbol of Peace rubbed his chin, looking concerned. "You sure did put a lot of effort to make the examinees go through a lot this year, haven't you?"

Nezu was done sipping his tea. "Indeed, All Might." He chuckled. He motioned his eyes to a monitor. "We have a lot of amazing students that will be having a lot of great potential for UA of this year. Especially the youngest son of the Iida family, Tenya Iida."

The blue-haired serious machine which was Tenya Iida delivered a powerful kick at a two-pointer scorpion while keeping a serious and level-headed face.

Toshinori glanced as well, as remembered the father of the Iida family was once a Pro Hero who decided to retire. He then watched another monitor, which caught his attention.

"Then there is Katsuki Bakugo. Just look at how he was able to take so many Villain Points." The monitor showed Bakugo as he delivered a powerful explosion, that turned the two-pointer into junk heap. He had a devilish smile on his face.

"Look how powerful he is." The cloning hero Ectoplasm sounded impressed. "He just keeps going and going, regardless of how difficult the robots will be."

The R-Rated Hero: Midnight AKA Nemuri Kayama wasn't just impressed. "My, my… That's a lot of stamina that a young hero-in-training has, especially the other boys. Surely, this boy will shape themselves into…"

"Midnight." The Cement Hero: Cementoss AKA Ken Ishiyama interrupted. "What did we talk about?"

"Come on, Cementoss. Can't a gal like me quip up a joke?" Nemuri whined a bit. "Besides, the girls on the other hand were doing well as they are, but that's completely normal to their style. Although… That Tokage kid doing fine with those blades, and Quirk, of hers."

Apparently, after using two makeshift blades, Setsuna was able to take as many points as she can gather, using both her Quirk and her weapons combined, slashing and dashing her way with them.

"Amazing as it sounds, it'll be better if she doesn't use them." The Blood Hero: Vlad King aka Sekijiro Kan, stated. "She might stab herself with those."

"I dunno…" Nemuri pondered. "She does look like an expert in using sharp objects like those." She smirked.

Toshinori was amazed that the examinees have great potential for their use of Quirks, skills, abilities, and anything that they have to pass the exam. However, he was locking his eyes on another examinee, who was still flying around the fake city: Izuku Midoriya.

He hoped that he can pass this exam. All that training that he went through can't be wasted for today's bizarre exam.

"I assume that you're amused with examinee #3301." The Erasure Hero: Eraserhead AKA Shota Aizawa, asked. He looks unamused.

"Well, in a way, yes," Toshinori answered. "Is there something wrong?"

"He hasn't even gained a single Villain Point throughout the start of the exam." He watched as Izuku was just flying around, while other students were doing their thing. "If he is just using his Quirk to just fly around and do nothing, he minds as well just leave."

"Now, Aizawa. Surely Mr. Midoriya practically knows that all the students are having their hands on the points to themselves." Nezu pointed out, which is a fact.

"Principal Nezu is right." Toshinori agreed. "Maybe he is just…"

"Wasting his and our time. It was clear already in the monitor." Aizawa interrupted. "Surely, if he tries to attack a robot for points, it will be an irrational move, to begin with."

"But according to his file, he has a Quirk called Bio Mass." The Scope Hero: Snipe reported. "His Quirk is too heavy, which is why he needed to use those Support Items of his. I reckon that he's just trying to find some three-pointers to show that size doesn't matter."

"Either way, he's going to kill himself, and probably waste his time," Aizawa grumbled a bit, getting annoyed.

"Please do your best, Young Midoriya. I'm counting on you." Toshinori hoped.

000000

The top-hat blonde was really taking this as he thought he would. The big smirk on his face says otherwise.

The top hat blonde focused on the robots, as a three-pointer's hand slammed the ground, which made the latter use his large metallic dragon claw to grab the arm and…

CRUSH!

"Cute move. Shame I break you like a toy." He grabbed his makeshift staff, which is actually a pipe, and strike the two-pointer to its red eye, partially destroying its mechanical brain, too.

Another two-pointer attempted to attack the blonde but was met with another slash to the faceplate. Eventually, the remaining robots started to go forward at him as they try to attempt to make him look busy dealing with them. It's like they were asking for a suicide note.

"Great… A bigger, dumber one!" He wasn't impressed by this.

He crushed the three-pointers hands with his metallic dragon claws, and swung it to its other brothers, saving him some time. "Come on, your bolthead! Let's see what you…"

With his pride fading away quickly, he heard a nearby building to his right crash as he saw a large two-pointer, staring at him like he was about to meet his fate, which is getting kicked out for failing. "Shit…" he accepted his fate.

Suddenly, a green plasma bolt hit the large two-pointer, which did enough damage. Eventually, another plasma bolt was made, destroying it in the process.

"The hell?" The blonde was confused. Then, a figure jumped in and blasted the large three-pointer at the head, causing them to fall immediately.

"Hey, are you alright?"

"Y-Yeah, I am. Thanks for the save by the way…" the blonde stopped and noticed something. "Hey, you're Izuku Midoriya, right?"

"Yeah, that's me," Izuku responded. "I saw you were having trouble dealing with the robots, so I came in and decided to help." Then he felt bad afterward. "I'm sorry if took your points."

"Oh, don't worry about that, kid. I actually had a huge number with me when the exam started." The blonde smiled reassuringly at the bionic-armed kid. "Besides, I do need the extra hands. These robots are seriously crazy."

"Yeah, I've noticed that, too…" Izuku's expression turned to something like he experienced the same robots he did.

"In case you don't know," the blonde added. "There was also an option to not help since this is practically an exam."

"R-Right, but still, it wasn't right to leave someone struggling…" he nervously explained what he did. Eventually, he started to make a move. "Uh… I-It was nice meeting you again!"

"Same to you, kid!" the blonde waved back with a friendly smile. He focused on Izuku for a moment and had an answer inside his head.

"The way that kid helped me reminds me of Luffy… but more nervous. And awkward."

Kyoka and Tokoyami were in the middle of her own problem.

She was the only one in the other part of the city and she was dealing with her own dilemma of two-pointers. Each in every type of shape and size.

For her, it was easy since all she has to do is punch them and punch the other with her Quirk and Support Gear combined into one attack.

"Almost got you!" Kyoka yelled as she strikes her speaker-gloved fist to the two-pointers head, which became destroyed in an instant. The combined vibrations from her Earphone Jack and her Support Item generating enough power were able to destroy it with merely a punch.

"Dark Shadow!"

"On it!"

Despite the daylight shining around, Tokoyami was able to control Dark Shadow properly as he was able to take out five robots, boosting the numbers on his points. And it all takes was Tokoyami's voice and Dark Shadow's cooperation.

Suddenly, Tokoyami didn't know that there was a three-pointer that was so big, it was able to knock him out of the road, and straight to a wall. Groaning, he watched the size of the three-pointer, and can exactly tell that Dark Shadow isn't strong enough to destroy it.

"Are you alright?" Kyoka rushed over to Tokoyami, who nodded in response. "Jesus, that robot's freaking huge! We can't beat that thing."

"Perhaps you're right. A giant may be strong and dumb, but is clearly unmatched for our…"

"Don't worry, I got this!" Their attention was directed to a purple ball midget who started to rush his way at the three-pointer. "I giant three-pointer! Just what I wanted to take out!"

"Hey, you idiot! Get back here!" Kyoka yelled, but her voice fell on deaf ears at the midget's focus on gaining three points.

Somehow, the midget just stood where he is, and watched the large robot raising its hand in the air, preparing to take it out. The midget looked white pale as he now knew what he was about to do was completely stupid.

"I'm going to die! I haven't talked to a single girl in here the whole day!"

Before he turns into grape jelly, a metal arm that punched it like a fist to the face came from Izuku, who flew towards it with great speed and force. He looked down at the midget, with a concerned look.

"Are you okay?"

The midget just watched him with a blank stare and an agape mouth. Clearly, this was making Izuku feel uncomfortable since he didn't answer. Until now… "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! ARE YOU A GOD?! YOU SAVED ME!"

Izuku was uncomfortable already with his intense crying. He wanted to let go of him, but he just slipped from his foot. He noticed Kyoka and Tokoyami as he rushed at them. Jirou-san. Tokoyami-san. Are you alright?"

"Yes, we are." Tokoyami stood up and cleared his throat. "Thank you for coming in, Midoriya."

"Yeah, dude. We would want the extra help if it weren't for Pervy the Grape Wonder over here acting like a hero, and froze like a popsicle." Kyoka's vocabulary was like she was a street kid, but it was understandable.

"I see…" he looked at the midget perv with an uncomfortable look, then he looked at them with a worried look. "I hope I didn't mind stealing your points for that…"

"It doesn't matter, since we needed someone to take it out for us." Kyoka stated that she was reassuring Izuku to not get worried about it. "Anyway, I think I saw four triple-pointers at the right side of the street. Maybe you can take them out for points."

"Noted. Thanks for the guide." He started to fly off. "And I'm sorry about taking your points."

"Do not worry about it, the past is past." Tokoyami made another speech. "He has potential in his strength and weapons. A trained warrior is always prepared for such dire situations."

While Kyoka was bothered by the emo-birds own words, Kyoka had a thought about how tough that punch Izuku delivered. It looked cool in her own eyes.

"Actually… right now, I wanted to see him and maybe hang out with him later. I think me and him will get along pretty well."

Setsuna was struggling with her own problem with four three-pointers cornering her in the middle, as she tried to get an opening to strike at them. Fortunately, the robots were big and the slashes and slices that Setsuna made no effect.

A three-pointer was stabbed by Setsuna's blades as she tried to get rid of them. However, the robot lifts its hand up and crushed them into bent pieces of metal.

"Crap…" it's all she could say. It's like she was having a bad day. Wonder why…

CLANG!

The splitter girl widened her eyes, only to see Izuku fly his way in time, and roundhouse kicked the three-pointer's head.

"Midoriya?"

Izuku paid close attention to the three-pointer he just attacked. He landed on the ground and in front of it as he a right hook to its body, and delivered multiple blows which left the three-pointer destroyed.

"Tokage-san, look out!"

Setsuna didn't notice another three-pointer was about to attack her from behind. However, Izuku flew in just in time and placed her on top of a building. Before Izuku could say anything, he was interrupted by Setsuna's floating finger to his lips.

"I know what you're going to say, but I already had my fair share. I'm this close for about fifty-six points." Setsuna smiled. "Take them all out, tiger."

Izuku smiled and nodded, as he rushed in the remaining three-pointers with his bionic arms, as he started punching them with all of his experienced training, both for his Quirk and his combat.

He delivered a set of punches to a robot, before ducking from a giant swinging on top of him. Izuku noticed the arm come back as he grabbed it and ripped it off forcefully. He used the arm that he ripped off to stab the three-pointer to finish it off.

He then delivered a super jump roundhouse kick at another behind him to the head and landed back on the ground to shoot the next three-pointer with two of his blasters. Then he pierced his fist inside the robot he kicked and blasted its innards, completely breaking them into pieces.

Izuku panted. All that training that he undergo did pay off.

"Woo! Bravo!" Setsuna's half body floated down, cheering at her green-haired buddy. "Didn't know you had that all in you, Greenie! You gotta tell me where you learned that."

"From my dad. He's an expert fighter. He even helped me get into UA." Izuku answered, feeling proud of his father on helping him get on his path.

"I'm starting to like your dad already." Setsuna quipped. "And I'm starting to like beating up more robots."

She noticed that there is a swarm of robots at the other side of the city. Izuku knew that this was the perfect choice to get more points.

That was he flew over to the location. He knows what to do.

Back inside the room full of proctors, the heroes were all impressed. They never seen something like that before in their entire lives. As if they can't outmatch him if they were in the exam right now.

Examinee 3001 did have potential after all.

"Incredible! This Midoriya kid looks like a born natural in the field!" Cementoss commented with his tone highly impressed.

"It seems that all he needed was some more villain points that weren't taken." Ectoplasm stated. "However, if he just took all those points from students who were struggling only means that he is stealing theirs."

"I don't think it's like that at all." Vlad King reassured. "He seems like the type of person to save anyone from certain danger, regardless if any of the examinees are doing their best to deal with it, but they should know that they have weaknesses."

"I agree with Vlad on his observation." Nezu was also impressed by Izuku's performance. "While it is stated that all examinees must get enough villain points, others should also be aware of what they are doing! They can also rely on others' help in case if they are in a tight situation, but regardless of that, those who needed help won't be getting any villain points."

The unknown creature principal drank his tea. "But regardless, other examinees must also learn to use this an example of their career path as heroes."

While the proctors are still amazed by what they saw, Aizawa didn't even react to it but he was impressed for sure inside his mind. He noticed a smirk coming from Nemuri, who was smirking like a teasing person. Aizawa looked away, not really fazed by her response.

"What."

"Admit it, that Midoriya kid was doing great when he managed to get at least fifty points, even what he did now. Don't hide it, Eraser."

"Control yourself, or I will."

"Ooh, I bet I'll like it~"

That didn't sound good as he taught about it in his head. Not really the best time to do it.

Meanwhile, Toshinori was actually happy to hear what the teachers have to say about his student's performance. While that may have gotten them interested, he was also relieved that they didn't know that his Quirk is rather confusing or mysterious, which will lead the staff to make a vote to send him out or whatever cruel thing they will do to him.

He only hoped that Young Midoriya will pass the exam, and get into UA without being caught that his Quirk isn't one.

"Those Support Items of his looked very strange, to begin with." Power Loader commented, directing his eyes to the bionic arms. "While every entire Support Item company only builds gadgets, weapons, and even gear to support the heroes now and then, it's most likely that Midoriya's is more different from the way it works and looks. As if those Support Items are his Quirk."

Nemuri hummed at the observation. "Power Loader may have a point in this. Those arms might be his Quirk. What do we call it aside from Bio Mass?"

"Technomancy? Mind as well call Tech-of-Arms or Swiss Tech." Present Mic, aka Hizashi Yamada, gave out some names.

"Nah, seems too boring for a name. It has to be unique. Something that fits his complicated Quirk." Nemuri tried looking for an answer.

"What if he's just lying to have that kind of Quirk. What if those Support Items are part of his Quirk, and they might be dangerous? Or something that would likely put himself or anyone at risk, but mostly himself." Aizawa guessed his theory. "Whatever the case is, if he is hiding his Quirk, and if it seems to be too powerful and yet dangerous, we mind as well expel him."

"First expelling your class during their first day in UA, and now this?" Hizashi was concerned and annoyed by what the hobo said. "At least hope it won't happen."

"I intend to hope if he is lying." Aizawa was insulted somehow.

Toshinori heard all what they said, and he was sweating like a broken pipe leaking all of its water. He only hoped that the young boy that he met long ago won't be in a lot of trouble. He hoped that he will achieve his dream to the fullest, no matter what.

"Hope they don't do anything to get your dreams out of the line." Toshinori watched as he saw Izuku land at the other city, "I hope you know what you're doing, Young Midoriya."

000000

Izuku Midoriya was actually getting the hang of this.

He managed to defeat four huge three-pointers all by himself by using everything that he learned from his training. Now, if he can do that again to another set of villain robots, then maybe he can add up a score higher than thirty-seven. What's even lucky for him is that the other examinees aren't even laying a finger on the robots.

Guess it was up to him, or something like that as long it has to get him some points.

He launched himself in as he delivered a Superman-style punch, which pushed a three-pointer away and got permanently damaged at the same time. He then draws out his arm blasters and began shooting the remaining three-pointers where he stands as each of the robots that were left were met by an entire swarm of powerful plasma bolts to their metal bodies.

The other examinees watched in awe as they saw the boy who was known for trying to save someone by being a hero, who turned out to be more different than what they expected.

"So cool!"

"That kid's Quirk really makes him look like a living weapon!"

"Forget that, look at how he was able to destroy that three-pointer with one flying punch?! How is that not cool?!"

"Bet the other weapons and gadgets are part of his Quirk. What do you think…"

"He better not hog the points to himself!"

Izuku ignore the compliments and accusations from the others, but rather, he was focused on how he was able to gain more points like what he did earlier. He needed this since he wanted to be sure. "I can't believe it! I still got it!"

He sounded happy How? He was smiling. Smiling that his training will finally be paid off once he finishes the test. Earlier he was trying to find his targets and was behind everyone, now he is way off their league on the battlefield. His points were now going higher as it reached forty-five.

Once a Quirkless Loser from the past, now a boy who was about doing his best to earn enough points like the rest of the other examinees who are struggling their own way to get points. After all, he was smiling as if he was this good.

"Huh? So, this is what it feels like to have a Quirk?" Izuku asked himself, and he couldn't get any prouder. "I never felt like using my Quirk aside from training and when I first saw these cuffs… They were different. And that's good!"

Suddenly, a giant shadow was blocking Izuku's path, as the latter noticed it and quickly moved his body out his ground when the hand slammed the ground immediately. Izuku saw a towering two-pointer as it chased him. "It's trying to attack me!" he jumped with his jetpack as he was able to avoid it.

He had an idea. And it was a smart one. Izuku moved his body and faced the ground like he was skydiving. He activated his jetpack once again as he quickly launched himself on top of the robot to deliver a downwards punch, quickly destroying it with enough force.

When he had his feet on the ground again, Izuku had a big smile on his face. Clearly, that's a sign of being a fan of his own Quirk. "Wow! That was amazing! I couldn't even pull that kind of move at all!" he cheered to himself.

Yep, this was normal to him. He needed this, but he shouldn't let this get over to his head. Otherwise, he'll be distracted.

Somehow, that last part suddenly happened.

The ground started to shake, as Izuku was caught off guard. He was alerted as he looked around. "What the…?! Where's it coming from?" he questioned it, as the other examinees were also doing the same thing. What was causing this?

"Wait… the test says it has four robots, the same appearance but with different points and difficulty. Then that could mean…" Izuku recalled the instructions, then gasped at what was the answer to this all. "The zero-pointer!"

Between the large buildings that are being crushed together with a giant metal object, the zero-pointer had appeared itself out in the open as it started to move slowly toward the examinees far several blocks away. It's slow, massive, and green and its appearance was saying that it will likely put the examinees at risk. Izuku has only one option to do about this situation.

"Run."

Eventually, the other examinees started to make their move, along with Izuku followed by more to come. All of them have calm expressions while others were running away with fear written on their faces. Izuku exactly where to go to avoid the giant robot. The zero-pointer started to leave some of the buildings destroyed as they all fell down destroyed.

Izuku can only tell that the zero-pointer is actually part of another test that doesn't need combat, but rather, a way how can they run away from a terrible situation like this. Luckily, Izuku already knew his spot. "Okay, all I have to do is fly all the way up once the road is clear and find a building to land on. Then…"

The boy's thoughts were stopped when he witnessed a brown-haired girl being stuck by a pile of rubble due to the robot's awakening. She was also struggling to get out but can't due to the rubble's heavy weight. The robot wasn't even planning to stop as it kept on going and going, making Izuku worried.

"That robot programmed to keep going, and that girl who saved me is in trouble!" he watched the other examinees and they were to busy for themselves to run away for their lives, while Izuku felt like he was the only to do it. "Guess it's up to me then!"

As he started to run away, Izuku heard someone getting his attention to stop. He looked around to see the boy from the orientation that scolded him! "What are you doing?! Are you trying to get yourself killed!"

Izuku groaned in his head. He didn't have time for this. "Look, you have to listen –"

"In case you are not aware, a zero-pointer is going toward our direction and has no plans of stopping!" he didn't mind being far away from the others, but he kept going. "Are you planning to kill yourself or just act rather ignorant in this test! Surely, UA will have a word about this and they will –" Izuku had enough of his ranting!

"Listen, someone is trapped and I'm the only one who can save her! No one is willing to get out there but me!" Izuku explained, and fly his way at her to save enough time.

The strict teen was shocked by his action. He was acting brash and stupidly brave, but he sees this as a heroic act. Surely, he must have misjudged the boy, even if he was aware that he violated a law where he shouldn't save someone from a villain attack.

He looked like a fool from what he all said. Instead, what did he choose? He left, following instructions as if it were the law.

Izuku made it as he started to remove the rubble from the girl. He didn't have time to explain, but rather had more time to get her out. "Listen, I need you to use your Quirk to make some of the rubble float. Can you do that?"

"I wish I could, but my arm was sprained from the rubble. And it hurts really bad." She stated. That wasn't a good thing. Izuku didn't know that removing the rubble will only cause her to lose more time, as he struggled to remove the other rubble stuck on her legs.

He groaned as he forced himself and his arms to lift it up with all what he's got! But it was useless, the rubble was too much for him to lift, and his bionic arms are starting spark with a bit of electricity, which could mean something bad. Suddenly, he was able to lift one.

But it wasn't enough. A simple piece of rubble stuck to her legs wasn't enough as there were more left. He didn't have all the energy and stamina to get through all this in seconds.

"What's happening to you?!"

"Huh!?"

"Your arms!"

Izuku noticed also something that he felt. He felt it around his arms. He can see a glowing glint from his glance. He watched his hands as they started to glow like crazy! And they were also sparking with electricity.

The bionic-armed kid had no idea why were they acting like this, but so far, he can't transform out his blaster or his jetpack. He was actually getting anxious that he just stood on his ground to deal with the zero-pointer for nothing!

This was hopeless. He can't just leave with his arms glowing. He can't let the other examinees feel scared that they might think of it as a bomb that could kill them all. And he doesn't have the time to save the girl while his arms are having an issue.

Until… he had an idea.

Izuku clasped his hands together as if he was grabbed them, then he pointed his arms straight in a middle position above his face. Because of what he did, his bionic-arms started to transform once again. The parts, metal, and its entire arm structure started to combine piece by piece as it formed some sort of giant, railgun-like, superweapon.

He widened his eyes. How is this possible?! Did his Quirk grant him another weapon choice to the addition of his cuffs?

He didn't have time to think as the zero-pointer was starting to get closer to him. All the other examinees stopped running and watched the Izuku being left behind. They wanted to save them both, but they can't be there as quickly as his jetpack.

Izuku watched closely at the sight of his railgun arm as it repeatedly blinked from red to green as it tried to get a clear shot. Once it goes green, Izuku watched his weapon form unleash a blast.

A powerful and devastating blast.

BOOM!

The railgun's firepower was able to hit the zero-pointer with ease. It was so powerful that it created a hole in the robot's body to the head. Once the blast output was finished, the zero-pointer was left with a scorching, hot hole as it falls back from behind in defeat.

The railgun reverted back to its normal arms. Surely, Izuku was starting to have a lot of questions about what he did, but right now, he was able to save someone with his mysterious Quirk's awakening.

The brown-haired girl was shocked to her own observation. She saw someone like that without enough power to their Quirk. She was actually thankful that she was saved to the point that it bought her some time to get out from the rubble but still lay on the ground.

The other examinees cannot believe what they saw. The boy who was muttering from earlier and doing well in the exam unleashed a powerful move onto the zero-pointer. It wasn't the time to be jealous or complain, but rather, to watch and recalled what they witnessed.

The proctors were afraid of what they saw in Midoriya. Some had questioning looks, while one person had a look that spelled 'a bigger problem we should avoid' type. Toshinori had his agape at what his student did.

"What… What was that…?"

Back to Izuku, the boy was starting to feel… uneasy. His body is starting to sway around like he was dizzy and he was sweating profusely. His vision was also getting darker and darker as he immediately fell down to the ground.

All he can hear was a scream for help from other people, fearing what was happening to the boy.

Today has been a bizarre day for not just Izuku Midoriya, but for the entire UA itself.

000000

One week later…

An entire week had passed. Izuku was practically waiting for something very important while going on recovery from what happened at the exam in UA.

A letter containing the results that he did in the exam.

He was anxious about it and looked nervous to know about it. He doesn't care if he passed out in the exam's final moments, but he only cared if he ever got accepted to UA or not. That's what matters most.

"Son, guess what came into the mail?" Hisashi came in, holding up a letter in his hands. Izuku saw it and grabbed it, looking nervous about it. "Don't worry, we'll be waiting outside your room once you're done."

"Let's just hope that you are accepted, Izuku." Inko hoped, as her husband put his arm around her in comfort.

Izuku nodded, as he entered his room, where it was dark. Luckily, the letter that he opened was nothing but a circular object. "What's this?" the device activated. "UA's results are in a hologram projection?" he watched All Might, wearing his hero costume, appeared in the projection.

"I AM HERE AS A PROJECTION!" All Might began, grinning at the camera.

While Izuku was fanboying out, he quickly had a thought. "Wait, if All Might is recording these, then this must be… He's going to teach in UA!"

All Might's grin turned into a sympathetic frown, which caught Izuku off guard. He doesn't like this. "Wait, why is he sad. Did something happen?"

"Izuku Midoriya, this projected message won't show your results, but rather, a very sad one to begin with. I'm sorry, but you won't be part of UA."

Izuku was in pure shock at the words his idol said.

Well, that was a bit of a twist, huh? But for sure there's going to be some complaints about this here and there, and I just wanted to explain that before something happens.

My idea was to let Izuku go into the path of being a hero, but not going to UA, since that's always the same troupe in every alternate universe story of Izuku Midoriya. He gets a different Quirk, or he learned how to be a skilled Quirkless guy, and crossovers that revolve him with having different powers like the same character he was being trained with. I just really find it overused and cliché from time to time.

So, instead, I decided to make this huge cliffhanger that fits so well in his journey, where he will learn that UA didn't accept him due to his Quirk, a confusing and an artificial variant of OFA that's considered to be kept a secret. But since MHA is all about heroes with revealing identities and Quirks out in the open, I went to that troupe instead to build Izuku's character.

Also, I had a thought that I put in some characters from different animes ever since the start of Chapter Two (Soul and Maka's appearances as Aldera students) and the top-hate blonde (Sabo) in this chapter. I think I went overboard with it to add them in the world of MHA, but I did it, because writing OCs are kind of a big issue for readers and writers in the writing force. So, yeah… I just get an existing character and place them here. But I might be making an OC, just not too many of them. At least three are good, or something that I can properly write.

Also, the part where Izuku hand's glowed and transformed his arms into a railgun, that was an improvised version of the part where he strike the zero-pointer when canon Izuku used OFA. I just added a little vibe of Iron Man to it as another way where he destroyed it. However, due to how powerful his Quirk is which also made him black out, the last scene of the chapter indicates why he won't join UA.

So far, this is as much as I can explain all this at once. However, once again, this story will be put on a long hold. The reason for that is I'm still trying to plan out some more chapters to continue this story. However, this will also be a good chance for me to publish another work of mine. Either it's a crossover or something outside MHA. Just hope anyone will take a look at it.

Anyway, that's all I can say. As always, please leave a review and support my story! I hope you enjoyed the end of this arc as well. Bye!
