Benjamin had gotten to the room and there was no guards standing watch like there used to be.
"Where are the guards?" Benjamin wondered as he reached out to the doorknob and walked inside. Inside he saw the bodies of two Nazis covering the floor in blood. "Ezra! Lucas! Where are you?!" Benjamin called out. In an instant a group of seven Nazis had barged in the room with their guns drawn and pointed at Benjamin.
"RED! What are you doing there? You are to be at your post!" One of them said.
Benjamin was clutching his red stone in his hand tightly while getting angry.
"My family…" He said under his breath.
"What did you say?" Another soldier asked.
One of the soldiers saw two of the dead Nazis on the ground.
"Did you kill those two? Answer you filthy Jew!" Another one of the seven demanded.
"I said where is my family?!" Benjamin said as his stone illuminated the room and the last Nazi soldier that asked him a question fired a bullet at him. The bullet greatly missed its target as Benjamin moved and in half a second was in front of the Nazi as he did a haymaker punch that sent his opponent flying into the wall behind him. The force of his punch along with the speed broke the Nazi's neck as the corpse laid in the now cracked and deformed wall.
All of the soldiers pointed their guns at him the moment his speed was over. They went to pull the trigger but Benjamin back flipped into the air as he landed behind one of them. He kicked the soldier between his legs before side sweeping his hat off and grabbing the back of his head and pulling it close to him as he used the in pain Nazi as a meat shield. The other soldiers on instinct opened fire as they shot their comrade. In those waves of bullet Benjamin super sped and twisted the neck of one of the Nazi soldiers. His super speed wore off but he already had the gun of his now dead opponent as he opened fire on two of the other Nazis. He ran behind the closest one as he held the gun like a bat and smashed the end piece hard into the guy's temple sending him to the ground.
A shot was fired at Benjamin and he activated his power again as he grabbed the Nazi next to him and placed him in front of the bullet. In super speed Benjamin forced the mouth of the helpless Nazi soldier and when he was done the bullet went into the mouth and through the back of his throat. The bullet landed into the wall behind him. The final Nazi dropped his gun as he looked around the room to see his comrades coating the brown carpet in red.
"You can decide how you want to die. Slow and painful or fast, but that all depends on how you answer my question. Where is my family!?" Benjamin said as he super sped and grabbed the man by the throat and slammed him up against the wall. "SPEAK YOU FILTHY MONSTER! WHERE IS MY FAMILY?!" Benjamin roared in the Nazi's face.
"I…Can't…Tell a…Dirty insect…Like you…" The Nazi said choking.
"So you want it the hard way I see." Benjamin grabbed his arm and twisted it as he forced the Nazi to walk over to the kitchen area in the room. He unlocked the Nazi soldier arm and spun him around he grabbed the same arm and slammed it into the wall as he grabbed a knife and slammed it into his palm as the blade pierced right through and into the wall. The Nazi began to scream in pain and at this point Ava and Jordan ran into the room.
"Don't stop me. I'm going to find out where my son and brother are!" Benjamin said angrily.
Ava and Jordan were amazed at the carnage in the room as they wondered what all had transpired here.
Benjamin focused his attention back to the Nazi groaning in pain. "SPEAK! WHERE ARE THEY!?" He said.
"I won't tell you!" The Nazi said.
Benjamin punched the soldier across the jaw and then shoved the knife further into the wall.
"I have so many ways to be creative in this room and I don't mind torturing you more until you give me the answers I want! Speak!" Benjamin demanded.
The Nazi began laughing.
"You're all going to die anyway. Once your brother becomes a super being he'll be under Hitler's complete control he'll use him to not just wipe out the rest of you Jews but control the world under his thumb. He only has you colored stains in case he can't control the monster he's going to create. The stones never chose him to wield their power. But once he can tame the soldier you three will die. You guys were nothing but pawns for a bigger chess game and it was so easy to manipulate you because you guys have such attachments to something like family. What makes you guys so strong was also your greatest weakness that we used as strings! You all should have thought of just yourselves!" The Nazi soldier began laughing hysterically.
"I've heard enough." Benjamin said as he ripped out the knife and slammed it into his forehead.
Ava placed her hands over her mouth and Jordan slightly turned his head to not see the death of the Nazi.
"Get a good long look you two. This is how you get rid of the plague that is trying to kill us." Benjamin said.
"What fully happened here?" Ava asked with a horror look on her face.
"My son and my brother weren't here. I found a few of the Nazis dead in here with fresh blood. Shortly after finding the corpses seven more guards tried to fight me. I need to find my family. I'll super speed this entire base if need be to find them and I'll kill any Nazi that doesn't give me what I want." Benjamin said.
"We won't stop you." Jordan said.
"Let us help. We all have super powers they can't stop us." Ava offered.
"What happened with all of that talk earlier? Don't you guys need to be "Good Soldiers" so your kid will be okay?" Benjamin scoffed.
"I think it's time we stop being slaves and rise up. We have all the power we need to fight and overtake the Nazis. Let us help find your son. If they did something to him we are worried about our child too." Jordan said.
"Benjamin we've been your friends for years. We haven't really acted like it since we've been reunited after this whole genocide. Let's show them how strong we really are." Ava added.
"Okay. Let's head out then. Let's overthrow Hitler and the Nazis." Benjamin said.
As they walked out of the room a feint sound of a group of people screaming rang through the halls.
"What was that sound?" Ava asked.
"I don't hear anything." Jordan said.
"What do you hear Ava?" Benjamin asked.
"Sounds like people calling for help and they are in fear." Ava said. "Follow me I'll take us to the screaming." She said.
"I wonder if this has something to do with her gem stone. It can emit sound waves so what if she can hear things from a distance?" Benjamin asked.
The three began running through the halls as the sound suddenly died down. Ava stopped them from running.
"The screaming…It stopped." She said.
She suddenly felt a huge wave of fear wash over her and so did Jordan and Benjamin.
"What is this feeling I'm receiving?" Jordan said as his heart began to race.
"I don't like this feeling." Benjamin said.
The three began moving to the sound and the closer they got to the location the more fear was weighing heavily over them. There was a row of pillars in the hallway and the sound of a loud metal door opening up in the red carpeted hall opened slowly. The three hid behind a pillar as Hitler walked out and began moving further away from the door in the opposite direction of them. Once he was completely gone Benjamin ran to Jordan who was the closest. "I think we need to see where that door leads." He suggested.
"I think so too." Jordan replied.
The two walked up stealthily to Ava still on guard in case any guards or Hitler was to come around the corner. "Hey hon we are going through that door." Jordan said as he began moving past her. She reached out and grabbed his wrist forcing him to stop.
"No, wait." Ava said as she began focusing on a sound coming from the door.
"What is it Ava?" Benjamin asked.
"There's something pretty cruel behind that door. Also do you guys notice anything special about that door? Jordan would definitely know." Ava said with a bit of fear on her face.
Jordan looked at the big black metal door that stood out from the décor in the hallway.
"That's a prison cell room. That's where a lot of our family members were being locked up…" Jordan said with a bit of horror.
"Wait you mean you and Ava's family members were all in that room?" Benjamin asked.
"Yes our mothers, children, Jordan's cousin, and of course my Uncle." Ava explained.
"Hitler just walked out of that room and you said you still feel something cruel behind the door?" Jordan responded.
"Cruel? A bad choice of words I think." Benjamin said.
"She says cruel when something abnormal is nearby. She's had that gift since she was a child. If it's not human she's able to sense it. She can never pinpoint the location but she has said that she's always known if something inhuman is at least 30 feet away from her at minimum distance, maximum is 50 feet. If the thing isn't moving and is locked up somewhere she can tell which door not to go into or whatever is the entrance of the thing that sets off her gift. At that point she will be extremely hard to convince to even pursue further." Jordan said.
"That has to be a gift or a curse given by God." Benjamin said astonished.
"Normally I would be against the idea of venturing further in but this is my family we are talking about." Ava said as she began moving towards the door. Benjamin and Jordan stayed behind her but the closer she got to the door, the more her body began shaking in fear. Jordan came up and grabbed her shaking hand.
"You're not alone here. You have me." He assured her.
Benjamin grabbed her other hand.
"It's not just your husband that's by your side. Your friend is too. We are all going in there." Benjamin assured.
The three stood in front of the door as Benjamin reached out and opened it. Benjamin let go of Ava's hand as he began looking around inside. There was just stairs descending down in a lit hallway and the three made their way down into the dark cellar where bars on rooms lined the entire hall. The space between each room was about a good ten feet apart from each other. Each room was big enough to put at least 8-10 people inside. The light from some of the now lit torches showed off the decrepit cellar but out of the cellar that looked like something from a horror movie, there was a thin line of blood that was in front of them.
"Guys I think that's blood." Ava said pointing at it.
Benjamin bent down and felt it as he brought it to his face and began rubbing his fingers in it.
"It's fresh." He said.
"That's a lot of blood to travel all the way down here." Jordan said.
Ava broke into a sprint as tears began running down her face.
Jordan and Benjamin ran after her but she was too quick and she followed the trail of blood that was getting wider on the floor. She finally found the cell where the blood was coming from and stopped running as she saw the black humanoid dinosaur sitting in the middle of the room with the corpses of every single person surrounding it. The Tyrannodrone was flopping the arm of one of the corpses up and down on the ground. The creature had its back turned from Ava who had placed her hands over mouth. She was trying to keep her emotions from leaving her mouth as she then reached out and grabbed the bars and fell to her knees.
"No, no, no, no, n…N…Not…This…Please…WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ava fully broke down with tears flowing down her face. The Tyrannodrone stopped what it was doing as it turned around and stared at her but Ava didn't notice as she hung her head staring right at the ground. Jordan and Benjamin got up to her in time as they stared at the Tyrannodrone that was staring back at them.
Ava noticed a hand sticking out of the cell and she followed the arm to see her youngest child with her face covered in blood. "Our baby…My child…" She said as she kept crying.
"What the hell is this thing?" Benjamin asked.
"I'm guessing a creature that Hitler created and by the looks of the room and it standing here, this thing killed everyone." Jordan said.
The Tyrannodrone saw Benjamin wearing his red outfit and reached its hand out to it as it made a whimpering sound. It kept making the same sound over and over again as it slowly began stepping over the dead bodies on the ground. It was moving towards Benjamin and right when it about reached the bars the creature stepped on the corpse of the child that Ava was crying over. Ava saw this as she reached into her pocket and grabbed her yellow stone and it began glowing brightly.
"You've already killed my family. Now you have the nerve to step on their corpses?! I'LL KILL YOU AND RIP YOU TO PIECES!" She punched the bars as powerful vibrations moved through them and sent the Tyrannodrone flying to the wall. The vibrations were strong enough to shatter the rusted bars as they fall onto the ground. Jordan grabbed Ava and pulled her back to avoid the falling debris and when she was pulled back and her path was clear the creature quickly went into attack mode as it charged after her. Ava broke out of Jordan's arms as she did a right hook and sent the Tyrannodrone flying to the left of them and further into the hallway.
The creature fell on its back and got back up on its feet. Ava was already in front of it as she reeled back her fist and her stone began glowing again. The creature spun around and kicked her in the chest with a follow up by jumping into the air. The creature went to do the same punch Ava was going to do but Benjamin tapped into his super speed and landed a solid punch into its stomach which sent the creature into a wall. Jordan came in with his fists covered in blue scales as he went to punch the creature in the face in hopes to shatter it. The Tyrannodrone ducked in time and Jordan put his fist into the wall. He put a lot of power behind it to end the fight in one hit but with him missing he ended up getting his arm stuck.
"I can't move my arm!" Jordan said.
The Tyrannodrone with its sharp claw went to pierce Jordan's stomach but Benjamin was able to tap into his super speed again and grabbed the monster from underneath his friend and chucked him away.
"Ava! Jordan needs your help! I'll take care of the monster you free your husband!" Benjamin called out.
Ava was still in a blind rage with the creature as she pulled out her knife and gripped her stone tightly. The stone's light illuminated the small area around her. She gave a murderous look on her face as she ran at the Tyrannodrone that was coming towards Benjamin. Benjamin went to do a jumping kick and in mid strike the creature spun around him before it lowered its head and rammed Benjamin into his side slamming him up against the wall next to Jordan who was trying to get his arm free.
Ava got in range as she raised her knife over her head and was going to bring it down onto the Tyrannodrones head. Benjamin was dizzy from the attack as his vision was a bit messed up. Everything was spinning a bit and he was struggling to try and see straight. The creature dipped its body and moved in a circular motion to evade Ava. Ava was already in a follow through motion of her attack and her blade was aimed for Jordan's shoulder. Benjamin acted quickly as he tapped into his super speed and grabbed her wrist and twisted it slightly enough to get her to drop the weapon. Once dropped the knife having this special glow around it from the stone vanished and the Benjamin quickly spun Ava around to get her back onto the ground.
The Tyrannodrone took this time to attack Benjamin from behind. Benjamin raised his foot and kicked the creature in the jaw before grabbing the knife from the ground and spinning around and slashing the creature across the chest. The blade didn't even leave a mark and Benjamin tossed the knife into the air before activating his super speed where he did a barrage of punches in the weak spots of the body. He finished his six hit combo with an axe kick slamming the creature onto the ground.
"AVA YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER! HELP JORDAN OUT OF THAT DAMN WALL AND I'LL HOLD OFF WHATEVER THE HELL THIS THING IS!" Benjamin roared.
"You're not the only one pissed at our families being massacred by that thing Ava! But if we don't work together we'll end up just like them! Now help me get out of this damn wall!" Jordan snapped.
Ava finally came back to her senses as she ran to inspect the wall. The Tyrannodrone got back up off the floor as it gave out a vicious snarl. Benjamin's stone began glowing as he dashed at the creature and grabbed it by the back of the neck and moved it to a different part of the underground cells. Ava was running her fingers over Jordan's arm that was stuck to try and figure out what was going on.
"I found the problem. I'm going to need you to activate your powers because if you don't I'll shatter your fingers once the rumbling starts get your hand out of there quickly." Ava said.
Ava's stone began to glow as she smacked the part of the inside wall above Jordan's hand. Jordan did as commanded as he jerked back his hand. Ava moved away from the hole in the wall as she looked at Jordan who was holding his wrist.
"What's wrong?" Ava asked.
"I could've gotten my hand out of there no problem but it felt like something was grabbing me and holding onto me." Jordan said.
"It's just a wall there is probably nothing behind it." Ava said.
Jordan removed his hand covering up his wrist as his sleeve was ripped to bits and a faded hand print was around it that was too small to be his.
"I want to know what was behind this wall." Jordan said.
He activated his powers as he began pummeling at the wall and with every strike bits of the wall was being removed that revealed a big metal door with a looking glass. The glass was fogged up and there was a circular door handle like something you would see as a steering wheel for a pirate ship.
"You said there was a hand grabbing you but are you sure it wasn't this door?" Ava asked bewildered.
"How do you explain the child hand print on my arm? Judging by the creation of the wall and the door looking recently new this hasn't been here long." Jordan said.
"Whatever it is the room doesn't seem to be that big, it kind of looks like it might be at least 20 feet wide." Ava said.
Jordan tried to turn the handle to open but it wasn't opening.
"I think it's stuck." Jordan said.
"Can you break it by beating through it?" Ava asked.
"If I can destroy solid concrete wall with one punch I should be able to bust the metal on this door. Once we get to where it's stuck use your power to finish up." Jordan said.
Jordan began punching the area where the lock would be and with each successful blow he made a huge dent into the door until he got up to the bar that kept the door from opening. He made the hole around the lock big enough for Ava to shatter the lock. Jordan stepped back as Ava gripped her stone tightly and hit the lock with her palm snapping the lock in half. She slowly opened the door as a very strong smell hit their nostrils that made them come very close to vomiting. The two had a look inside this small room for only five seconds before quickly running away from the door with the scene of what they saw forever etched in their minds.
The two quickly moved away from the scene with looks of horror on their faces.
"What the hell was that?!" Ava said with her eyes closed. She was about to have a mental breakdown as Jordan wrapped his arms around her.
"What was with those bodies of children doing in there? How long have they been there?" Jordan wondered.
In the room were corpses of children that were just the skeletons some with flesh still on them. The room had some older people in it judging by the skeletons in the corner and a lot of the bodies were stacked up on top of each other.
Ava was crying at the sight of lives lost in a way like that.
"I don't want to do this anymore Jordan! I want this nightmare to end!" She said crying into his chest.
Jordan didn't know how to say anything as he was struck in horror. He kept trying to get himself together as he tried to calm his wife down by stroking her head. A spiritual being walked down the creepy hall as it stood in front of the door looking into the room. The ghost was a child, possibly a victim in the room and Jordan noticed this as he placed his hand over Ava's mouth. Ava looked up at him as he put his finger over his lips to tell her to be quiet as he pointed to the ghost.
The two stared at the ghost with their eyes widened as the child leered at them.
"Thank you for finding this room. I never thought I would ever be allowed out of there." The child said with a screeching voice.
"Were you a victim here?" Jordan asked.
"Hitler made this with a type of poison he wanted to use on Jews. It was far from what he wanted but used me and my family as well as other children for an experimentation before this whole thing began. He's calling it the Gas Chamber and has made many more to put us Jews in. When I heard the fighting outside of here I was the one who grabbed your hand. I couldn't leave that room and was hoping that someone would open the door to let us all out. I need to go, my family calls me. Please stop Hitler." The child said before vanishing.
Ava and Jordan were surprised to see what all had transpired in front of them and as they tried to make out what happened they heard a cry echo throughout the entire underground cellar.
"That sounds like Benjamin!" Ava said.
Benjamin dragged the Tyrannodrone to another part of the cellars in those two seconds of speed before chucking it across the hall from him when his power gave out. The creature rolled on its back and stood back up as it began snarling viciously at him.
"I don't know what the hell you are but I'm going to kill you for hurting my people." He threatened at the creature.
The creature ran up the side of the walls as it came down to plunge its sharp claws into Benjamin. Benjamin pivoted and spun around slamming his elbow into the creature's chest. He then raised his fist and back punched the creature in the nose. As the creature fell, Benjamin did an opposite hook punch into the creature's jaw with a quick follow up to grabbing it's throat and slamming it into the wall next to him. Benjamin let go of the creature's throat as his gem began to glow again and he did a barrage of rapid punches into the creature's face. When his attacks stopped being rapid due to his power he did a sucker punch at the creature's temple causing it to spin in a circle. Benjamin jumped up into the air on the dizzy creature and pinned it to the ground. There was a bit of light illuminating the room as Benjamin had his knees on top of the creature's arms. He held back his fist as he waited for the two seconds to be up so he could destroy the face of the creature. The light of his stone illuminated the small area around him.
"Say you're prayers monster!" Benjamin said before he noticed something reflecting off the light located around the creatures neck. He looked down to see the Star of David necklace that was originally his that he gave to his son Lucas. "…No way…" Benjamin said he lowered his fist and the light of his stone vanished. "Is that you Lucas…?" Benjamin said as he slowly got up off the ground.
The creature just laid there on the ground as the vicious snarling turned back into whimpering. The creature began making a gargling sound like it was trying to speak and the area where the eyes were you could see something liquid falling down its face as if it was crying. The creature held its hand out towards Benjamin. Benjamin removed his face mask and upon doing so the creature began making a loud sound like it was in pain, as if it was crying. The Tyrannodrone began rolling around in circles with its hands on its head throwing what seemed like a tantrum as the crying got more erratic.
Benjamin had tears rolling down his face, "Lucas would do that when he didn't get what he wanted." He said as his heart began to hurt. "This entire time I've been trying to kill what was once my son…" Benjamin said as the tears began picking up the pace going down his cheeks.
Lucas as a spirit appeared in front of Benjamin as reached his hand out to his father.
"Daddy…Please kill me…" He said to him.
"…Lucas…Wha-What happened to you…?" Benjamin said fighting back his tears.
"Hitler is turning the Jewish children into these monsters. I don't want to be a monster daddy. I don't like it but I can't stop it." Lucas said to him.
"I can't kill you…I don't want to have that on my conscious." Benjamin cried.
"If you don't I'll hurt you and others. I don't want to be a bad kid anymore. I want to be free daddy." Lucas said with a crack in his voice.
"I'll find a way to save you without taking your life! You're my son and I promised to take you to America, there has to be another way to save you!" Benjamin called out.
"The smoke turned me into this and I'm no longer the boy I am. My soul is attached to this creature until it dies. Please let me see mommy I don't want to be like this anymore." Lucas said with a sad facial expression.
"What do you want me to do Lucas? I can't find it in me to kill you." Benjamin said feeling hopeless. He knew what he needed to do but didn't want to follow through with it.
"I want you to be a superhero. I want you to save me." Lucas said as his spirit began to slowly vanish. "If you don't hurry I'll be the one to kill you and I don't want to kill anymore. I don't want to be a sinner daddy." Lucas said as his body completely vanished and the Tyrannodrone began to charge at Benjamin. The creature went to doing a piercing thrust with its claws and upon survival instinct Benjamin back fist the strike and did a rising kick with his right foot knocking the creature face up. The final words Lucas said began repeating in Benjamin's mind.
"I want you to be a superhero…"
Benjamin's heart was breaking as he brought his foot down and smashed it into the middle of the Tyrannodrones face. Benjamin then activated his power as he super sped behind the Tyrannodrone. He put the Tyrannodrone in a headlock and began cutting off the circulation for it to breathe as it tried to fight out of the hold.
"….I want you to save me…"
Benjamin kept having those words replay as if that was the only thing he could hear. The creature began to quickly stop fighting back as Benjamin kept his eyes closed. The creature stopped moving and its hands dropped to its side and Benjamin slowly opened his eyes to see the creature finally motionless in his arms. Benjamin dropped the creature onto the floor as he sunk to the ground and took the necklace off him. "…Lucas…Lucas…Your father loves you…I'll always love you…" He said as he snapped his head up to the ceiling and began crying at the loss of his son.
Jordan and Ava entered the area shortly as they saw Benjamin breaking down with the head of the Tyrannodrone up against his chest.
Benjamin was screaming once again when they got to their friend. A clicking sound was being made in the hall with them as Jordan and Ava began looking around for the source of the noise. "This isn't good!" Jordan said as the two grabbed Benjamin away from the Tyrannodrone. Benjamin was trying to fight back to mourn over his son.
"NO! LET ME BACK THERE! I CAN'T JUST LEAVE MY SON HERE! LET ME GO!" Benjamin screamed.
An explosion was made from the Tyrannodrone and Jordan activated his powers in time as he grabbed a cell door in quick succession and ripped it off the wall with all of his might and slammed it down in front of everyone. "STAY BEHIND ME EVERYONE!" He demanded as the force of the blast was pushing them back and Jordan was tightening up all of his muscles to try and keep them survived through the blast.
The blast was finally over as the ceiling above the Tyrannodrone exploded and caused a collapse that lead up to the surface. Jordan threw the door that was really banged up to the side as he began breathing heavily from having to keep his friends alive. "Are you all alright?" He asked as he turned around.
Ava had her finger over her mouth.
"I think he passed out from all the stress." She said as she had him resting on her lap.
"I think we've had enough excitement for one night. We need to find a place to rest; tomorrow we start to take out Hitler and the Nazis." Jordan said as he began to show signs of exhaustion.
"Let's move to one of the cells further away from here. I'll stay up and keep an eye out in case anyone comes. You two need rest. Come grab Benjamin's shoulder so we can carry him to a place where he can lay down. All of the cells here have beds." She said as the two began carrying the friend.
"I never wanted any of this for any of us." Jordan said.
"It's useless to talk about that now. Do you really think that creature was Lucas?" Jordan asked.
"I think it was. Now that I have had time to calm down a bit, did you notice how when we showed up it was more giving Benjamin attention than us? Also before the explosion did you know that necklace wrapped around its neck? That same necklace Benjamin was wearing when he got sworn in and then he didn't have it anymore." Ava said to him.
"He wouldn't have held the creature like that unless it was of some importance to him." Jordan added on.
The two got further away from the hole as they got inside a cellar and laid Benjamin down. There was a top bunk that Jordan got up on as he tried to rest. Ava sat in a corner where she could see out in the hallway in case any guards came to look around at the destruction of the floor.
