Ch 106 Peaceful Moments

The next Morning, Helena held Aiden and Casey in both her arms. She smiles at them, still feeling that this was a Dream.

Helena looked at her Sons, holding them safely as Steven went to change. Finn has returned to the Vacation House, retrieving some fresh Clothes for him.

That is understandable, considering that Steven has been up since Ten o'clock last Night and stayed up to watch over them. His appearance was frazzled, his hair was in a mess, and there were bags under his eyes, indicating that he hadn't a moment rest.

Luckily there was a complete Bathroom with a decent shower for the Patient or anyone to use.

"Kirlia," Kirlia stood on the chair, not taking her eyes off of the Twins. The Duel-type was fascinated by her Partner's Sons,

"Kirlia, I know you want to see the Boys but please be careful," Helena said, scooting over to make some space in her Hospital Bed. "Why don't you come sit with me here?" She offered her Partner, giving her room.

Kirlia smiles, about to take up the offer. However, she stopped, knowing that her Partner needed to be comfortable. "Kirlia," She shook her head, denying the offer.

Helena smiled at her Partner, understanding what she was saying. "Thank you Kirlia, I appreciate it." She said before looking at her Second born Son, sighing at what their Doctor told them last Night.

"Kirlia…" The Emotions Pokemon could feel Helena's conflicted emotions from where she stood.

The black-haired Woman looks at Kirlia, hearing her concerned tone of voice. "It's nothing, Kirlia. I'm just worried for Casey; he was just born into this World, and this Illness plagues him." Helena said, concerned for her Son.

Dr. Berk came shortly after Helena had enough time to recuperate after being unconscious and under anesthetics. Also giving the two the time to spend time with their Newborn Sons.

She told them that Aiden was Healthy with no complications, however for Casey it's a bit different. Dr. Berk explains that Casey has developed Asthma due to the premature Birth.

This broke Helena and Steven's Hearts; however, their Doctor assured them it was not that serious. With advanced Medical care and Medicine her Son's Asthma can be managed by using an Inhaler.

As long as they have that Inhaler, Casey can live a normal Life, and possibly go on a Journey when he reaches the rightful Age of Ten,

Steven walks out of the Bathroom after taking a quick Shower. Feeling refresh. "I needed that Shower, the stress and worry I had just washed away." He commented, drying his hair with the towel the Hospital provided.

He wore a simple blue polo shirt with a white out-like around the collar, grey jeans, and sandshoes. After drying his hair, Steven looks at Helena and their Sons. "I can take over while you take a shower, Ellie." He offered, knowing his Fiancée would like to have one.

Helena nodded, taking up the offer. "Yeah, it won't be a while until I need to feed these two. Plus Visiting Hours won't start in an Hour." She said, watching as her Fiancée walked up to her.

Steven took Aiden First, being close to him. "Hey there. Buddy. Enjoying your time with Mommy?" He spoke softly to his Son, causing him to flutter his eyes open,

Aiden stares at his Father, curious about why this Man looks like him. He giggles, reaching out his tiny hands towards him. "Babu…" He gave Steven a gummy smile.

The Hoenn Champion chuckles, placing his Son in his crib. "Stay there, Aiden. I'll be back with your Brother." Steven said, gently ruffling his hair.

"Goo," Aiden tilts his head, watching his Father leave his view.

Steven walks over to his Fiancée, about to take Casey from her arms. "Do you need anything else, Ellie?" He asked, about to take the white-haired Child.

The Champion was about to take Casey when he suddenly woke up, crying up a storm. Steven steps back, seeing him crying. "WAH! I didn't do anything yet; why is he crying?" Steven asked,

Helena held Casey, rocking gently while crying. "I guess he doesn't recognize you yet, Steven." She smiles, whispering to him. "Now, now, there's no need to cry, Casey. Mommy's here," The Ability User calmly said to her Son.

Casey's cries died down, now holding onto his Mother's Hospital Gown. His Steel-blue eyes were filled with tears, cuddling against Helena.

"B-But I'm his Father…" Steven said, staring at his Son. He felt like his Son favored Helena over him. "Casey…" He said defeatedly,

Kirlia sighs, walking over to Steven, patting his leg, and comforting him. "Kirlia,"

Helena gave a small laugh at Steven's expression before attending to her crying Son. "Shhh, I'm here, Mommy's here, Casey." She coos, staring down at his Steel-blue eyes.

Though Casey's cries died down, what's next scared the new Parents. Their Boy started to cough, a raspy cough that put them on edge. "Steven, the Inhaler," Helena said, watching the Hoenn Champion quickly reach for the Infant Inhaler, handing it to her.

"Here," Steven said, pancaking a bit,

Helena smiles, takes the Inhaler, and places the nozzle on Casey's mouth. "Here, this will help you stop coughing, Casey." She spoke in a Motherly tone, something she quickly adopted as soon she held the Twins.

After giving the Inhaler to her Son, Casey's coughing ceased and now breathing normally. Steven sighs in relief, sitting on the chair next to the crib. "I seriously don't know how you do it, Helena." He said, placing his hand in Aiden's crib, feeling his little hand play with his fingers. "It scares me when Casey coughs like that,"

Kirlia nodded, also scared when Casey gave a raspy cough. "Kirlia…Kirlia…"

"See, even Kirlia agrees." The new Father said, feeling like he was weak as a Father to properly care for his Son.

"You two just need to get used to it," Helena spoke gently, wiping her Son's mouth from his drool. "Being a Parent and caring for Children isn't easy and can't be done overnight. You just need to go along with it."

Steven chuckled, smirking at his soon-to-be Wife. "Says the one who works with Children five times a week. Including mentoring your own Apprentice." The Champion commented.

Helena raises a brow, questioning Steven's words. "Didn't you have taken Brendan under your wing? Teaching him everything you know about Pokemon Battles?" The black-haired Woman asked,

"Toche," Steven smiles, admitting his defeat in this small argument.

Helena giggled while tending to Casey when a small knock gained their attention. "Chansey." A Chancey Nurse peeked her Head out of the doorway, smiling at the young Parents.

"Chansey?" Helena questions why the Hospital's Pokemon stopping by

Steven stood up, looking at the Normal-type Pokemon. "Chansey, is this a check-up on Helena?" The Steel-blue haired Man asked the Egg Pokemon.

"Chansey," Chansey shook her head, moving to the side and letting a few People inside.

Walking inside the Hospital Room, N, Anthea, and Concordia entered, seeing the couple. The Potter Siblings also saw their newborn Nephews, one in the crib and one in Helena's arms.

"Helena," N couldn't help but smile, relieved that his Sister. The Person he owes so much to is alive and well. "You're alright, I'm glad…" He said, wiping away the tears from his eyes.

Helena smiles at her Siblings being here to meet her Son. "N, Anthea, Concordia, it's good to see you all again." She said, happy to see them after a long time.

Anthea approaches her Sister, having a relieved expression on her face. "You have no idea how relieved we are to see you deliver your Children safely." The pink-haired Ability User said, "And the two look Healthy as well, two good news for a while."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Helena asked, curious what her Sister meant.

"What Anthea means to say is that Team Magma is very active with their activities," Concordia said, approaching Steven, holding Aiden in his arms while listening to her speak. "There were attempts of a break-in at the Lab. However, the Guards quickly took care of them." She said, reaching out to her Nephew, and wiggling her finger at him.

Aiden blinks at Concordia, giving her a cheerful smile. "Goo!" He reached out, grabbing hold of his Aunt's finger.

"Aiden seems to like you, Concordia," Steven said to his Sister-in-Law, shifting his Body to her. "You can hold him if you want," He offered to the blonde Woman if she wants to hold him.

Concordia nodded, having her arms out and ready to receive the Child. Steven gently placed Aiden into the Ability User's arms as he stepped back.

Aiden giggles in his Aunt's arms, reaching out and grabbing a lock of hair. "O-Okay, ow, ow," Concordia wince in pain with a smile at how playful her Nephew is.

"AH! Aiden, don't do that to your Aunt!" Steven panics, trying to stop his Son from pulling Concordia's hair.

"It's alright, Steven." Concordia smiles, pulling away her Nephew from her hair. "Your Son is just getting to know his Family," She said, looking at Aiden who merely giggled,

Anthea looks at her Nephew, taking in his details. "He looks so much like you Steven, and he seems to be strong too." The pink-haired Woman smiles, scratching Aiden's little chin.

"He'll be a strong Ability User," Anthea smiles, waving at Aiden,

Steven chuckles, leaning on the chair's arm. "Yeah, I wonder what it'll be." He said, looking at his Son who was happy to be with new faces.

Helena smiles at the sight before looking down at Casey, who can't help but be curious about the new faces before them. "Babu…" He reaches out to N, being the first person he laid eyes on.

The black-haired Woman looks at N, watching the interaction with the Babies. "N," He turns around, hearing her calling his Name. "Would you like to hold Casey? He's been staring at you for a good while." Helena offered,

N flinched, looking at Casey who was reaching out to him. "I-I couldn't, I'm not good with Infants, Helena." The green-haired trainer said, not feeling like he was capable of holding a Child like Casey.

"Come now, you're good with the Children at the School," Helena said to her Brother, ushering him to hold her Son.

N looks around, seeing both their Sisters and Steven looking at Aiden. He looks back at Helena, holding Casey. "Alright, I guess it won't hurt." He said, walking over to them.

Helena gently places Casey in N's arms as the Infant stares at him. He blinks at his Uncle before raising his hand to his mouth, "Goo…" He tilts his head, trying to figure out who this Person is.

N continued to stare at Casey, also trying to comprehend the Child. He smiles, seeing some features he shares with his Mother. "I could see he's your Child, Helena. There's some of you in his face," He commented, chuckling at the similarities. "But I couldn't help it, but he reminds me of someone. I just don't know who or where."

"I got that feeling too, his face does share a resemblance to my Father," Helena said, resting her hands on her lap. "He also has his Name as his Middle Name, Casey James Stone." The young Mother said, informing her Brother what her Second Born Son was.

The green-haired trainer smiles, finding the Name to be fitting for him. "It suits him," N said, getting attached to Helena's Son.

Later in the Morning, Anthea and Concordia went to the Cafeteria to get something to eat for themselves and the others. They left around six in the Morning and waited in the Lobby where they waited for Visiting Hours to open.

"Who's the cutest Baby Boy?" Casey blinks at his Grandmother, lifting him in the air. "Awe, you and your Brother are the cutest things ever!" Lydia squeals, smiling at the white-haired Boy.

Casey merely blinks before being shifted to Lydia's lap. "Babu…"

Lydia turns to Helena, now refreshed after a Shower. "I have to thank you again, Helena for giving us such adorable Grandsons," Lydia said, placing her right hand on her cheek while the other held Casey. "Now I have two Little People to spoil with many gifts and Birthday Presents." She jokes with her.

Helena smiles at her soon-to-be Mother-in-Law. "Hahaha, as much I like to see you happy, Lydia. I'm afraid both me and Steven have planned to raise them to be selfless trainers." She said, wanting their Sons to be trainers of respect.

Adam, who came since he was practically Helena's Father Figure chuckles. "Lydia's merely joking with you, Helena." The blue and blonde-haired Professor said, looking down at his Student's Son. "I can't believe he has white hair already. That's a rare trait for anyone to have,"

"My Family is known to have some sort of light-colored hair, take Steven for an example." Lydia looks at her Son, holding her other Grandson with N and Joseph by his side.

Helena and Adam look at the Men on the other side of the room, chuckling at what the white-haired Woman said,

On the other side of the Hospital Room, Steven was holding his Son while N and Joseph crowded around him. "It's so surreal, it feels like I've been sent back in time to the time you were just born," Joseph commented, reminiscing the time when Steven was Aiden's Age.

"He's a carbon copy of you with Helena's eye color." The navy-blue haired Man commented, looking down at Aiden with a Pikachu Pacifier in his mouth,

"I think this is the only version of you that I don't hold a grudge, Steven." N jokes with his Soon-to-be Brother-in-Law.

Joseph looks over to N, knowing all about his protectiveness over Helena. "Still have some issues with my Son being engaged to your Sister, eh N?" He asked the former King.

N merely shrugs, not denying what the President of the Devon Corporation said. "Just a few minor ones, Mr. Stone." The green-haired trainer said.

Steven chuckles, feeling like he's being attacked. "Hehe, I think that's enough you two. You're making Aiden fuss," He said, looking down at Aiden who was whimpering.

"Oh, don't fuss now, Aiden. Grandpa is just joking around." Joseph said, taking Aiden out of his Son's hands. He smiles before looking at Casey who feels sorry for. "Steven, I'm sorry to hear that Casey got an ailment that will be with him all his Life." He said, knowing the Illness.

Steven got up, stretching a bit after sitting so long. "At least it's manageable, both me and Helena are worried that his Asthma might affect him when he's on his Journey." The Hoenn Champion said, going into full Father mode.

N steps next to Steven, seeing him being protective over his other Son. "Now you know how I feel whenever Helena's with you." He shrugs, joking with him.

Steven sighs, already used to this teasing. "Hai, hai,"

Walking inside the room, Anthea and Concordia returned. "Sister, we've returned." She said, holding a tray with some Burgers for everyone. (Plant-based Burgers).

"Sorry, it took long, it was a long line just to get these," Concordia said, holding drinks in her arms.

"Gothitelle," Concordia's Gothitelle came in with her set of drinks from the Hospital Cafeteria.

Helena smiled at her Sisters entering her Hospital Room, "Thank you, I'm getting a bit famish," She said, sitting up on her Bed ready to eat.

After a few hours of spending time with everyone and having Lunch, Joseph, Lydia, and Adam all went back to the Vacation House. Lydia said that they need to prepare something back at the House.

Anthea and Concordia were also requested to come with them. All three said they have something planned for when the two return,

The Potter Sisters agreed to the request, following them back to the Vacation House. Staying behind was N and Steven for obvious reasons,

A few hours in, their Friends arrived after clearing themselves from Gym Leader Duties,

"Hello~ Is the new Potter/Stone Kids here?" Wallace peeked through the doorway, smiling at the new Family.

Steven looks up, smiling at his Rival making an entrance as usual. "Wallace, took you long enough, what held you up?" The Hoenn Champion asked the former Champion,

Wallace walks in with a Gift bag in hand, shrugging at Steven's question. "Hey now, I have to buy more Gifts for the Little ones." The teal-haired Gym Leader responded, turning his head to the Hallway, "Am I right, guys?" He asked,

The three watched the door as Roxanne, Flannery, Brawly, and surprisingly Jackie entered the room. "Congratulations you two!" Their Friends cried out, congratulating the young Parents of their newborns.

Suddenly the room was filled with crying, everyone turned their heads to the plastic cribs, seeing where the crying was coming from. Both Aiden and Casey were crying from the sudden cheering.

"Kirlia, Kirlia," Kirlia tried to calm the Babies down, but it proved to be futile.

"W-Wow, those two have a very hardy cry," Brawly chuckles, covering his ears.

Roxxane looks at Helena, giving her an apologetic expression. "Sorry Ellie, I didn't realize we were that loud to scare your Sons." The Rock-type Gym Leader apologizes.

Helena smiles, seeing it wasn't their intention to scare them. "It's fine Roxanne, I know you guys didn't mean to scare them." She looks over to her Sons, where Kirlia and Steven are tending to them.

Steven held Casey, cradling him in his arms. "Hey, hey, there's no need to cry like that, Buddy." He said gently, soothing his Son's cries,

Kirlia looks at N, wanting him to assist her in taking Aiden to his Mother. "Kirlia, Kirlia." The Duel-type called for the green-haired trainer.

"What is it Kirlia? You want me to bring Aiden to Helena?" N asked the Little Pokemon, seeing her nod and pointing to the crying Baby.

"Oh, I got it. You guys looked tired based on how you look." Wallace said, having experienced with Babies before.

The Water-type Gym Leader approaches the plastic crib, taking the Child into his hand. "Awe, what a cutie!" Wallace held Aiden, who was still crying from earlier.

Flannery and Brawly huddled around Wallace, staring down at the Steel-blue haired Boy. "Wow, he really is like Steven. Down to his face," The red-haired Gym Leader commented, smiling at Aiden.

Aiden stopped crying, now staring at the new People who were staring back at him. "Babu…" He blinks at them, forgoing being frightened to being curious.

"Well, would you look at that, he stopped crying." Brawly chuckles, smiling at Aiden. "Hey there Little Dude, I'm your Uncle Brawly. Nice to meet ya," The Fighting-type Gym Leader,

"And I'm you're Auntie Flannery." Flannery couldn't help but to but in,

Brawly looks at the red-haired Woman, trying to get some of Aiden. "Oi, Babe, can you wait your turn? I'm trying to get to know one of my Nephews." The Sky-blue haired Man eyed his Girlfriend.

Flannery chuckles, reaching out her finger to let Aiden squeeze it. "You mean our Nephew." She responded, "After all we're dating, so he's our Nephew."

The Sky-blue haired trainer sighs, accepting that logic. "Fine, whatever you say Flans."

"Okay, that's enough you two! I have no room here!" Wallace exclaims, holding Aiden in his hands.

Aiden was in a giggling fit, finding the little argument to be funny.

Helena smiles at Aiden was having fun with his Aunt and Uncle. "Hard to believe you're Parents now, Helena, Steven," Jackie said, looking at Casey who was calm now

"Well, Life has its ways of giving the unexpected," Helena commented, cradling her Son. "Either way, I'm grateful." She said,

Roxanne smiles, sitting down on the chair next to her bed. "I knew you would make a great Mom, Helena." The brunette said, looking at how she was caring for her Sons. "You had this Motherly aura about you whenever you interacted with a Student or Pokemon." The Rock-type Gym Leader said,

"It's like she's made for this role." The blonde Pokemon Ranger jokes, receiving a smile from Helena. He then looks at Steven, sitting right beside her. "Steven, how're you taking Fatherhood? Do you have a knack for it like Helena?" Jackie asked the Hoenn Champion,

Steven looks up, chuckling at the question. "Heh, I'm still starting, but it's been rewarding so far." The Champion answered the Pokemon Ranger. "I'm getting used to it and have much to learn about being a Father."

Helena smiles, enjoying the moment. Having everyone she holds dear and having fun, is exactly what she wanted in Life. Also, it's exactly what she wished her Sons to have,
