The Ninja, still screaming, fly over the hedge maze, where they come across the front of the island and start to fall. "Hang on, guys!" Blake yelled as he holds up his left hand, and quite instantly, they stop several inches from the ground thanks to Blake's Wind before dropping once he lowered his arm.

Everyone groans as Cole, Gewuji and Blake slowly get up. "Thanks, Blake." Lloyd said.

"Don't mention it."

"That's exactly what would happen if you knock on a door, Kai." Geoff, who was on top of him said, angry at him for disobeying him. "That."

"Well, sorry." He sarcastically replied before forcing him off of his back.

"Let's try that again, and this time, no one get catapulted." Cole said.

"You have 30 minutes to leave the island before the authorities will be notified of your trespass and have you arrested." The woman's voice called out from a nearby speaker box as they turn to it.

"Then, that's how long we have." Zane said as he and the others get back up.

They go through the hedge maze again, this time with ease, and come across the courtyard again. Unbeknownst to them, a nearby vine suddenly springs up and suddenly shoots out in front of them, making them jump back as it hits the wall opposite the one it was hanging from, immediately latching onto it. "Whoa!" Nya said. "That was close."

"Strange. Ivy is not normally known to be a dangerous plant."

"That woman must've activated the security system in case we didn't leave." Kai said. "Who knows what other boobytraps are here?"

"Step slowly and deliberately." Lloyd replied, unaware that the paths into the maze behind them suddenly get blocked by statues that rise up from the ground. The statues' eyes soon glow red, which Gewuji notices. "You never know what-"

"Lloyd, look out!" She yelled, pointing towards them. Lloyd turned around to see the statues firing laser shots at him, but he manages to dive out of the way.

"New plan: Run!" He quickly gets up as the statues fire laser shots again, and he managed to avoid them as he and the others start to run, jumping to avoid a laser shot as they do so.

"Talk about giving the evil eye!" Kai said as they ran. They quickly dive over the fountain as they avoid more laser shots.

They rush for the entryway as the statues that were on each side of it also fire laser shots at them, only for a fence to rise up, blocking their path, and five robots, looking like dogs and looking rusty, emerge from a hedge and start to growl, which made Geoff start to hyperventilate. "Robot dogs have a land speed of 30 miles an hour." Zane said as he, Kai and Geoff duck down to avoid several more laser shots. "We cannot outrun them!" They avoid more shots.

"Newer plan: Fight!"

Geoff faces them while still hyperventilating as one came at him before knocking him down and tried to bite at him. "Get off me!" He yelled until Blake, in his Spinjitzu tornado, charged at it, knocking it to the side.

Two robot dogs approach Lloyd, Cole, Nya and Gewuji, who were lucky to avoid a laser shot that came between them and the robot dogs before Cole jumps back while Gewuji backflipped as the robot dogs head to Lloyd and Nya. "These evil statues aren't running out of lasers, either." Gewuji said before cartwheeling to avoid another laser shot while Cole somersaults.

Suddenly, the vine starts to pull on the walls, moving them forward. Zane is held down by a robot dog before he kicks it off him. "We've got to escape this garden or we're going to get squished." He said as he placed his back to the wall and tries to push on it.

Kai lands next to him with a groan. "Or zapped!" He replied, ducking another laser shot.

"Or eaten!" Blake said as he was on the ground, held by a robot dog before managing to raise his legs high and kick it off him. "Back off, Scrappy!" He rolls backwards at the same time to get back up.

Lloyd and Nya back away from one. "Good dog." Lloyd said to it. "Are you a good dog?" It soon charged at him and forced him down. It tries to bite at him as Lloyd managed to grab its mouth to try and make it not open its mouth. "Not a good dog!" He forces it up, and a laser shot soon hits the robotic dog, shorting it out and falling to the side. Gewuji jumps back to avoid a robot dog's bite before quickly doing Spinjitzu, charges at it, and rams it close to a statue, which fires a laser shot, shorting it out and falls back.

"That's it!" Nya said, looking at the two disabled robot dogs. "Those lasers will drain the robot dogs' batteries!"

Kai, Zane and Blake try to push at the converging wall before being joined by Cole, arms engulfed in Earth Punch, who soon pushes on it. "I'll hold this back..." He said to them before they take off while Lloyd and Gewuji head for the opposite wall. "...or at least slow it down?"

Zane moves to the left of a robot dog, who watches him before doing Spinjitzu, comes towards it and does a somersault over it while dispersing, and it tries to attack him, only to end up shot by a laser, shorting it out. Geoff holds a robot dog back with its front paws while shaking before Blake, using Spinjitzu, charges at it, crashing into it, moving it in line of a statue's firing range, which fired a laser shot, hitting the robot dog and shorting it out. Nya backs away from the last one before Kai, using Spinjitzu, rams into it, sending it flying towards a statue, which fires a laser shot, hitting it and shorting it out. "Let's stop these statues." Nya holds her arms out to conjure two balls of Water from the fountain and raises them high as Zane emits Ice in his left hand, at the ready before Nya turned towards one statue at the entryway and waves her hand at it, sending one of the balls at it before Zane shot it, freezing it, then sends the other one, which Zane also freezes. Nya then conjured two more before firing them at the statues blocking the maze's entrance, and Zane freezes them as well.

Lloyd, Cole and Gewuji keep trying their best to push the walls back before Gewuji moved back, holds her arms out wide, and conjures a giant beam of Glass, which each end almost reached the walls before Kai and Geoff, come to help hold it straight as the walls soon touch the glass beam, only for them to end up cracking and shattering it in the process. Soon, the walls immediately retract, making Lloyd and Cole fall down, and the fences lower. Lloyd sighed out of relief while still lying on the ground. "Nice work, guys." He said.

The girls soon collapse from exhaustion with Kai and Zane coming up to Nya, and Geoff and Blake coming up to Gewuji. "I really hate dogs." Geoff said before Gewuji pats her brother on his arm to reassure him.

Soon, sounds of children war crying was heard, as they all turn to see two children, wearing costumes, had face paint on, and wielding branches like they were swords, charging toward them. "For the empire!" One of them yelled with a young boy's voice. He had brown hair.

"Oh no, a couple of kids playing pretend." Blake sarcastically said before holding his left arm out with laziness, and raises them a little high with his Wind, making them scream a little.

"Hey!" The boy drops his branch and started to flail his arms and legs a little.

"No fair!" The other boy said, also flailing his arms and legs as well, but still held his branch. He had black hair.

"Let us down, you big bully!"

"Let go!" The boy immediately threw his branch at Blake, hitting him in the head, making him lower his arm, and they drop down.

"Boys, boys, what is going on?" Someone with a masculine voice called out as they turn to him. It was a middle aged man with grey hair and a moustache, wearing a white bathrobe and slippers.

The boy with brown hair points to the Ninja as Blake rubbed his head with his prosthetic. "These bullies are probably here to rob us!" He replied.

"We need to call the police!" The boy with black hair said.

"Boys, behave." The man said, glaring at them.

The boys lower their heads, ashamed. "Sorry, daddy." They both reply at the same time.

The man passes them before turning to the Ninja. "Sorry about the boys. And for what just happened earlier. I was in the shower." He then turned to his sons. "Why didn't you or your mom buzz them in?"

"We thought they wanted to rob us, daddy." The boy on the left replied.

"Are you-?" Cole couldn't bring himself to ask.

"Are you Milton Dyer?" Geoff asked.

The man laughs. "Oh, heavens no. If I were, I wouldn't be these two boys' father. More like their grandfather. I'm Bob the Intern." He then turned to walk up behind his sons. "This is Josef." He pats the brown haired boy's shoulder before patting the black haired boy on the head. "And this is Bertie."

(A/N: I felt like adding that Milton should have a daughter and grandkids. If you don't know the name reference, look up Josef Kates and Bertie the Brain)

Inside, Bob, Josef and Bertie lead the Ninja inside the mansion and find themselves in the main foyer. "I've worked for Mr. Dyer for 31 years now. Though, he hasn't been here in a long, long time."

"Wait, Milton Dyer isn't here?" Lloyd asked.

"No, no."

"Bob, who is at the door?" A woman called out before emerging from another room, and sees the Ninja, becoming surprised at them. "I thought you were supposed to leave."

"Calm down, Dorothea, they were looking for your father, but they now know he isn't here."

Gewuji was surprised at who the woman was. "You're Dorothea Dyer, Milton's daughter." She said.

"And Josef and Bertie's mother." She replied, looking at the two. "What did I tell you boys about wearing costumes in the hallways?"

They both lower their heads, embarrassed and ashamed. "That playing around would break something." They both reply. "Sorry, mommy."

"Hey, don't worry about it." She then turned back to them. "So, you guys really don't know where my father is?"

"Sorry, Dorothea, we don't." Lloyd said.

"And we were hoping you were coming with information for us about where he is." Bob replied. "Ha. We've been waiting rather patiently, for his return." He chuckles. "He promised me a promotion." He giggles and then turned to Josef and Bertie. "And meet his grandchildren."

"So, you two are married?" Geoff asked, pointing at Bob and Dorothea.

"Oh, no, not quite." She replied. "We may have spent one night together, but it was worth it, and we have Josef and Bertie to prove it." She smiles at her sons.

"Uh, the reason why we're here is because we want to know about Prime Empire." Kai said. "Can you tell us that?"

"Grandpa can explain it better than daddy." Bertie replied, running off somewhere, followed by Josef.

"You did say he isn't here." Zane said, watching the boys take off.

"He isn't." Bob replied as the boys came back with a TV and VCR on a trolley.

"But, my dad did have a recording of him on the day he finished making the game." Dorothea said, heading over to a nearby filing cabinet, opens it and gets out a video cassette.

A little curious of what's inside it, Kai takes a peek. "Wow, look at all these scrapped game concepts!" He said. "'Fist to Face 4', 'Unfinished Adventure Game 1'." He chuckles at the one underneath it. "'Ukulele Legend'?" He looks further down. "'OutSkating.'"

(A/N: OutSkating is a name I made up. Ever heard of the old computer game SkiFree? Imagine OutSkating would've almost looked like it, but with a skateboard instead of skis)

"What?" Geoff asked, coming up to it and grabbed the cassette. "He cancelled the sequel?"

"Don't touch those!" Josef yelled, pushing the cabinet door on them, slamming it into their hands, causing them to yelp in pain while making Geoff drop the cassette inside it as he and Kai get their arms out to rub them and Bertie closes the cabinet properly.

"Boys, behave." Bob said, scolding them.

"Sorry, daddy." Josef and Bertie reply, lowering their heads.

"That smarts." Geoff muttered as he finished rubbing his arm.

"Prime Empire was my father's favourite." Dorothea said, hoping to get the topic back on track. "It was so advanced, he said it would seem like magic." She turns the TV on to play the tape.

The TV soon showed Milton, who was in an office. "Prime Empire is not just a video game." He said on the video. "It's a ticket to another world! A world so immersive, you'll think it's real. Prime Empire isn't going to just change how games are played, it's going to change the world as we-" The video started to distort a little before a flash of a bright light suddenly appears, and Milton immediately heads over to investigate, leaving the screen in the process, and the TV is shut off.

"Wait, what was that flash of light?" Lloyd asked.

"The same thing happened to Jay after he turned on the video game." Cole replied.

"Something went wrong with the game." Bob said, shutting the VCR off. "I asked Mr. Dyer about I once, but he wouldn't say."

"Something went wrong, alright." Zane replied.

"Prime Empire games appeared in arcades all over Ninjago last night." Blake said. "Any idea why?"

Bob scoffs. "I'd say that's impossible." He replied.

"But, there was something that my dad used to say, 'Good technology should make the impossible seem possible." Dorothea said. "It should seem just like magic.'"

"Anyway, Prime Empire was never released. Too many problems. It broke Mr. Dyer's heart."

"What kind of problems?" Kai asked.

"Something to do with some unauthorised changes my dad made to the game." Dorothea replied. "His bosses found out and weren't happy. 'Creative Differences', I guess."

"So, what happened?" Nya asked.

"Well, the company fired Mr. Dyer." Bob replied. "He was pretty angry about it. Kept saying they had no vision. But he said he'd have the last laugh." He scoffs. "He said they'd be sorry one day."

"He said that?" Cole asked.

"A missing programmer set on revenge?" Nya asked.

"And now a mysterious villain named Unagami reintroducing the game?" Zane asked.

"Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Geoff asked. They don't answer. "Milton Dyer is..." He waits for their reply.

They all realise. "Milton Dyer is Unagami!" They all said.

"And we've got to stop him before anyone else gets taken!" Kai said.

(A/N: From this point on, I'll add the secondary story, which also acts as a filler story. Now, the first few chapters will be similar to another chapter I will add in a few days time, but it's from different perspectives)
