Spooky Forest (Night)
"Do you smell that?" Dominic asked as he, Jiro, and Charizard walked along the forest path. The Pokemon sniffed the air, sensing something odd.
"Yeah, I smell something too." Jiro said, wondering if this scent was because of Class B. "Do you think one of our classmates is doing this?"
"No, this is- Charizard, use Hurricane to disperse the gas!" Dominic shouted, recognizing the smell. Charizard beat its wings, sending the gas back. "It's mustard gas. Heavily toxic and NOT the work of Class B."
"Then who's doing this?" Jiro asked, getting into a fighting stance.
"Probably a villain. But I don't know how they managed to get all the way here." Dominic theorized. "Charizard, fly into the air and try and spot our assailant from above." Nodding, the Flame Pokemon took flight. Looking around, it discovered something far worse than the gas' source. When it landed, it directed its trainer's attention to the area West of their location. "Oh, that's bad." Dominic said, worried.
"What's bad?" Jiro asked, unable to see what the blonde was seeing.
"There's a forest fire." Dominic said, frightening the girl. "And it's not normal fire either. It's burning in a bright blue color, which is usually impossible in nature. This is definitely the work of a villain's Quirk."
"How can you tell from here?" Jiro wondered aloud.
"Remember, my Quirk gives me an innate connection to fire." the blonde reminded. "I can tell where fire is burning around me, as well as the unique qualities of the flame." The boy got out a Poke Ball and tossed it, releasing Greninja. "Greninja, I need you to run in that direction and extinguish the fire there." Nodding, the Ninja Pokemon dashed into the woods, quickly disappearing from sight. "As for the gas..." Dominic got on Charizard's back. "You should get on too."
The two rode on Charizard as it flew high above the forest, evading the gas. After a few minutes, they found the source. A boy wearing a gas mask, producing a pink gas from his body that wafted through the forest. Based on how the gas was moving, the three of them deduced that the boy could manipulate the gas.
"Look, it's Kendo and Tetsutetsu!" Jiro shouted, pointing to their classmates, trying in vain to battle against the gas.
"Say no more! Charizard, use Blast Burn!" Dominic commanded. His partner filled its maw with flames before launching them at the gas villain, engulfing him entirely and breaking his gas mask. The second it fell from his face, the gas vanished. Charizard landed soon after, letting Dominic and Jiro run to their friends.
"Xiao-Long, Jiro! Thank goodness you got here when you did." Kendo said, exhausted.
"You should be thanking Charizard." Dominic said. "If it weren't for it, we wouldn't have been able to find you at all."
"What the heck is going on here?" Tetsutetsu asked.
"Villains. We're being attacked." Jiro explained. "Xiao-Long and Charizard found a forest fire that was set by a Quirk. One of his other Pokemon is going there right now to put it out."
"Everyone in Class A and Class B, in the name of the pro hero Eraserhead, you are granted permission to engage in combat." Mandalay broadcasted with her Quirk. "I repeat, you can fight these villains."
"Charizard, it's time to do what we do best!" Dominic said, jovial.
"We've identified one of the villains' targets. It's a student named Xiao-Long Dominic." Mandalay continued. "Xiao-Long, if you can hear me, avoid fighting at all costs."
'Yeah, he's not gonna do that.' everyone thought at the same time.
"If our friends are in danger, we won't allow ourselves to remain silent." Dominic said. "Charizard, let's go!" The blonde hopped on his partner's back, and the two of them flew off.
Kota's Cave (Night)
If you had told him at the beginning of the day that he'd be face to face with one of the most ruthless villains in Japanese history, Kota would've called you crazy. But now that he was in that exact situation, he was mortified.
Muscular, the villain Dominic had faced all that time ago, was back and thirsty for blood. "What do you know. I come all the way up here for a good vantage point, only to end up finding someone who wasn't even on our list." With a smile, he approached Kota. "You mind trading me that hat for this mask? They made me wear it because I'm new to the group." Muscular removed his mask, revealing his battered face from when he fought against Chesnaught. "Why don't you and I have some fun up here!?"
The villain lunged at Kota, only for something extraordinary to happen. A Zygarde Core, cloaked in green light, protected the child from the attack and repelled Muscular. It then began to assemble Cells and other Cores, changing its form.
"What's going on!?" Muscular asked, caught off-guard by the Pokemon's sudden appearance.
The Cells and Cores merged together, and Zygarde 50% Forme appeared in a burst of green light. The Legendary Pokemon roared, furious at the group who set the forest on fire. It launched Thousand Arrows into the sky, where it split into hundreds of small lights that shot downward. Muscular was buffeted by the attack, using his Quirk to defend himself from the worst of the damage. When the attack finished, the lights returned to Zygarde's body.
Midoriya arrived at the scene soon after, amazed at Zygarde's presence. "That's one of Xiao-Long's Pokemon." the boy realized. It looked similar to the canine Pokemon the trainer used in the Beast Forest.
"You, I recognize." Muscular said, seeing Midoriya. "You were on the list, weren't you."
The greenette didn't come here for a fight, and dashed forward to grab Kota. "Can you take care of this while I get Kota to safety?" he asked the Order Pokemon. Zygarde looked down at him and nodded, allowing the student to escape.
"You're going to regret that!" Muscular yelled, running toward Zygarde with the intent to kill. He grabbed the Pokemon and threw it into the wall of the mountain, surprising it.
Zygarde's body began to glow brightly, and thick vines erupted from the Earth, entangling Muscular. They then slammed the villain into the ground. While he was recovering from the impact, the Legendary Pokemon rushed towards its opponent and used Crunch, tearing through his skin and breaking a few bones.
"ARGH!" Muscular cried out, using his Quirk to cover the wound in his arm.
Zygarde didn't give him any time to recover, using Thousand Arrows again to deal immense damage to the villain while he was down. It then used Grass Knot again, tying vines around Muscular's legs and shattering them. Then, to finish things, Zygarde gathered immense amounts of energy in its body and fired a beam of energy at its opponent.
When the beam subsided, Muscular's Quirk disabled on its own. "What!?" He tried reactivating his ability, but to no avail. "Did that beam somehow suppress my Quirk?"
Roaring, Zygarde used Core Enforcer again, blasting the villain with the full force of nature's wrath. The ensuing explosion released such an incredible amount of energy, that it managed to reduce the mountain to rubble. Seeing more explosions in the distance, Zygarde progressed into the forest, ready to eliminate any threats to nature's order.
AN: Just to be clear, Muscular's dead. Zygarde will show no mercy to those who damage the ecosystem, and will attack anything it deems an enemy to order.
