With Ben, Fred, Braedey, and the girls, the author kept leading the gang over to his own home, and he showed them the malevolent-like place. "Well, here we are..."

"Wow..." Velma whispered, as Braedey then began to look around. Ben let them inside to explore. "Wow, so this is where it all started?" Velma beamed, looking around Ben's study room and even his desk in awe.

"Yes, I wrote all my early novels here," Ben smiled back in clarification. "Now, I spend most of my time over in Europe, but I come back here once a year to recharge my batteries."

Velma looked to the 1980's computer that sat at the desk with a smile on her face. Braedey looked at everything that Ben had in his studio. Willow was also interested at what was all around the house, but she kept her thoughts to herself.

"You have some cool things here, Ben." Fred smiled at the posters that were on the wall.

"I'll say!" Daphne agreed with Fred as she too looked at the posters of his books on the wall.

"Yeah. It's got some kind of presence to it." Braedey said as he continued to look around. He then saw a painting of a young woman, holding a book in her hands, and she had long raven hair and looked friendly. "Mr. Ravencroft, is this your ancestor Sarah?" He asked to her, while pointing up to the portrait.

"She looks very pretty." Willow added in, looking to the painting.

Ben took a look and smiled. "Yes, indeed... I think it was painted by a grateful patient. Of course, she wasn't popular with the town's doctors. Sarah was nontraditional with her approach to medicine, she was a Wiccan."

"Say what?" Fred asked.

"I've read about them." Daphne replied. "Wiccans were people who were in tune with the forces of nature and used them for healing purposes."

"I'm impressed." Ben smiled with what Daphne knew. "She believed in using herbs and other natural elements to draw from the Earth's power to heal the sick. Sarah helped many people who cannot afford medical treatment. She treated her patients under a large oak tree, which she believed to have healing powers."

"Hey, I saw a huge oak tree like that in the town square." Velma commented.

"I've already search the area around that tree, but never found anything." Ben mused. "That book can finally prove that Sarah's innocent and that she was a wiccan, not an evil witch."

"Wiccans have been misunderstood accused of sorcery. In fact the word "witch" comes from 'Wicca'." Velma commented.

"I'm impressed, Velma." Ben complimented to her. "You know, doing research on Sarah and the wiccans, lead me to read almost everything about the world of supersation. That's how I started writing stories to frighten people."

"Cool." Braedey said. "I guess everyone has to start up from something they find or like."

"I think I'm going to visit the puritan village. They say that Sarah is going to make an appearance. Anyone wish to come with?" Ben offered to the gang.

"Sure, maybe Shaggy and Scooby will come too." Velma agreed.

"I want to find Sarah's journal." Ben stated his business about the book he had been searching for. "That way I can prove to people she was a Wiccan healer and not a witch after she was falsely arrested 400 years ago."

"And I hope she tells you where it is so you can find it to prove everyone that she wasn't an evil witch." Willow said.

"That would be most good. Everyone is meeting tonight to visit her spirit." Ben looked to Willow.

"We'll be there." Fred stated bravely. "We'd better see Scooby and Shaggy to see if they would be willing to go."

"Good luck with that. We'll go to the diner." Daphne suggested.

Velma looked to Ben. "You coming with us?"

"I better go in advance. I'll meet you all there." Ben said to them.

"I'll go and see if they want to go with us too." Braedey said, joining them.

"Suit yourself." Fred shrugged, then he began to leave with Daphne, Velma, Willow and Braedey. Velma looked eager to stay with Ben too, but she went with her gang anyway.

"How much food do you think they've eaten already?" Willow asked them while they were making their way to Scooby and Shaggy.

"Probably the whole diner by now." Fred chuckled.

"Well, let's hope the chef there isn't out of food so he can keep them eating and keep them happy." Braedey chuckled, the others snickering at this as well.

Daphne opened the door to the diner, as a man ran out of the diner, looking disgusted. She then found their friends and laughed a little as Scooby and Shaggy kept eating.

"So, how's the food?" Daphne asked.

"Pretty darn good." Shaggy replied back.

"Is there anything left in the kitchen?" Velma asked with a giggle.

"I'll be right back, boys." Jack, the restaurant owner, rushed over with his coat and hat. "I gotta make a run to the market." He ran off out of the diner to go and buy more food for the two.

"It's getting dark, guys." Fred said to Scooby and Shaggy. "Lets see if that ghost makes an appearance."

"Like, we'd love to, but we haven't had our dessert yet." Shaggy explained.

"Reah, reah!" Scooby agreed.

"After you finish us, meet us at the puritan village," Daphne told the boys. "Ben had already gone ahead."

"Like, if the ghost gets there first, just start screaming without us." Shaggy chuckled. Then, Scooby was about to eat hid chicken, but pulled his chicken away, slightly glaring at the still hungry dog.

"We'll see you later then." Velma waved to the boys, then she walked off to meet Fred and Daphne to the village. "We'll see you later then." Velma waved to the boys, then walked off to meet Fred and Daphne to the village.

Later in the evening, it soon got very dark. However, it was also getting a little boring since it's been deathly silent. Nothing was happening and people were just standing around.

"Come on, we've been waiting here an hour." One of the men complained, leaving with the people.

"The ghost is a no-show." Another guy agreed.

"Maybe she'll show up at the concert tomorrow." A girl shrugged, and everyone began to head back to their cars to leave Oakhaven.

"Too bad." Ben sharply sighed. "I was hoping to have a little chat with my ghostly ancestor. I wanted to ask her where she hid her journal."

"Boy, Ben seems to be pretty obsessed with that book." Daphne remarked to the others.

"I'll say." Fred agreed.

"Well, we all should leave too." Ben told the group.

"We should give it a chance, Ben." Daphne suggested.

"Yeah, it's probably a hokey bedsheet with a wire or something. This could be funny." Fred remarked.

"I'm going to take a look around, and see what's what." Braedey whispered to Willow. "Something tells me that something's going on around here."

Willow was hesitant about letting Braedey go on his own in a town like this, but she knows that he's that defenceless. Plus, he can get away quickly. "Okay. But, be careful." Willow whispered back, and the brunette walked away, heading off down the street. Willow watched on, a feeling of concern slowly rising inside of her as she watched him disappear into the darkness.

It seemed to get colder and more spooky around Oakhaven at night. Braedey kept his hands close to himself, all the while with looking left and right, now taking note of the cars driving away, leaving Oakhaven behind. Braedey soon saw Scooby and Shaggy leaving the restaurant, finally done eating and they were wondering why everyone was leaving. Braedey thought for sure he saw something weird, then he bumped into the boys.

"Zoinks!" Shaggy screamed, then turned back. "Braedey?"

"Hey." Braedey replied. "Just thought I'd catch up with you two."

"Everybody's leaving." Shaggy looked back, seeing the cars driving away. "I wonder if that ghost showed up." Then, it was eerie quiet, with nobody around. "Like, with no one here, this place is almost spooky." Shaggy looked around with worry and uncertainty.

"Reah." Scooby agreed with a shudder. He then looked in the distance. "Rhaggy!"

"Huh?" Shaggy now looked over with Scooby and they both could see three girl silhouettes emerging from the shadows. "Girls!"

"Reah!" Scooby agreed. "Rirls!"!

Shaggy and Scooby then made themselves look more presentable. Shaggy slicked down his hair and made the fat in his stomach look more attractive. Three Goth girls now walked up to them and they stared blankly.

One has blonde pigtails with hints of green, another girl has poofy orange hair with hints of purple, and the middle lead girl has jet black hair with hints of red.

"Like, hi girls." Shaggy greeted.

"Hi!" the Goth girls greeted back, now revealing they have vampire fangs for teeth.

Shaggy and Scooby saw the fangs, making them both freeze in place, then they ran off, screaming. Braedey was also spooked, and he ran off in the same direction of Scooby and Shaggy, and knew if he didn't catch up with them soon, he would possibly lose their trail.

The girls just laughed; they didn't want to scare them, but it was kind of funny. But, the black-haired girl seemed like she remembered something from long ago.

"Thorn, you okay?" The blonde girl named Dusk asked the black-haired girl, whose name is Thorn.

"He seemed familiar to me somehow..." Thorn replied slowly.

"Maybe another fan." The redhead, Luna, shrugged.

"Maybe not. He looks too young to be a fan. I think he's more than that." Thorn clarified, lost in her thoughts.

Braedey was now keeping up with Scooby and Shaggy, as the two of them were now losing the weight they had gained from the food. Then, Scooby, Shaggy, and Braedey all stopped running and panted, trying to catch their breath.

"I think we lost them, old buddy." Shaggy panted, trying to catch his breath.

"I think those girls were cool. I mean, they did look a little spooky, but they seemed cool." Braedey looked back to see if the girls were still on the streets, but it was all dark and silent.

"And I thought there was only ONE ghost witch." Shaggy added.

"Reah!" Scooby tried to catch his breath.

'Technically, they're vampires.' Braedey thought to himself.

"Anyway, with all that running, we worked off that big meal." Shaggy now patted his flat stomach. "But you know, I'm hungry again."

"Re roo!" Scooby added in, patting his own stomach.

There was then evil wicked laughter in the air. Braedey felt goosebumps race down his back and arms, then he glared at the boys, but they didn't make the noise. This really didn't sit well with the three of them. The wicked laughter came again. The three of them then felt the wind being blown all around them, as they now looked up to see a green spirit with a witch's hat flying toward them. She must've been Sarah Ravencroft's ghost!

"This town shall pay for what it did to me!" The ghost shrieked, then flew towards them.

Scooby, Shaggy and Braedey screamed, then dashed away. "Hey! Shaggy, Scooby! Wait for me!" Braedey piped.

"Like, it's every coward for himself, old buddy!" Shaggy called back.

Braedey groaned a little, then he yiped as fireballs hit his backside. He looked to see the ghost was hurling fireballs to scare them away and punish them. This prompted him to run faster, which got him to keep up with the two. They all then rounded a bend, and they crashed into the other part of the group.

"Braedey? Guys, what's going on?" Willow asked. "What happened?"

"A rhost!" Scooby cried.

"A roast?" Ben misunderstood what he said.

"A witch's rhost." Scooby moaned.

"You guys saw the witch's ghost?" Velma asked in surprise.

"Yeah!!" Braedey nodded furiously. One would think his head would come off its neck from being shaken so fast.

"Can you show us where?" Fred asked.

"Why? Do we have to?" Shaggy whimpered. "She throws fireballs, man!"

"I'll show you where." Braedey volunteered before he noticed something. "Um, where's Daphne?"

"Oh, can you at least get off me first, Freddy?" Daphne's voice groaned. Daphne was shown to be knocked down with Fred, but the two got themselves sorted out and on the street like the others.

"Sorry, Daph." Fred apologised.

The group now made their way to where Braedey, Shaggy and Scooby had seen the witch's ghost. It was getting colder as the hours go on later and later. But, the streets were empty and the wind has gone silent.

"There's no one here now." Daphne said as she was now shivering slightly.

"We thought we'd gotten away from the first three witches when this ghost chased us from down here." Shaggy explained.

"First three witches?" Ben raised an eyebrow at those words.

"You said she threw fireballs, right?" Velma asked.

"It's like this Velma, only 1,000 times worse." Braedey said, showing round air balls in his hands. He then pointed to a picture of the Ghost on a T-shirt nearby. "Like that..."

"Is this the street, she chased you down?" Velma walked along to retrace everybody's steps.

"Like, don't remind us." Shaggy mumbled.

"Hey, check out these branches." Velma looked at the remains of a tree. "They were all broken from the tops of these..."

"And in a perfectly straight line!" Daphne added.

"This is getting interesting and nightmare fuel giving." Braedey shivered a little, just as Willow hugged him close. "Willow..."

"From now on, you're not leaving my sight until I'm sure it's safe." Willow whispered softly to Braedey, hugging him closer to her.
