The group now made their way to where Braedey, Shaggy and Scooby had seen the witch's ghost. It was getting colder as the hours go on later and later. But, the streets were empty and the wind has gone silent.
"There's no one here now." Daphne said as she was now shivering slightly.
"We thought we'd gotten away from the first three witches when this ghost chased us from down here." Shaggy explained.
"First three witches?" Ben raised an eyebrow at those words.
"You said she threw fireballs, right?" Velma asked.
"It's like this Velma, only 1,000 times worse." Braedey said, showing round air balls in his hands. He then pointed to a picture of the Ghost on a T-shirt nearby. "Like that..."
"Is this the street, she chased you down?" Velma walked along to retrace everybody's steps.
"Like, don't remind us." Shaggy mumbled.
"Hey, check out these branches." Velma looked at the remains of a tree. "They were all broken from the tops of these..."
"And in a perfectly straight line!" Daphne added.
"This is getting interesting and nightmare fuel giving." Braedey shivered a little, just as Willow hugged him close. "Willow..."
"From now on, you're not leaving my sight until I'm sure it's safe." Willow whispered softly to Braedey, hugging him closer to her.
There was then cosmetic sounds emanating in the air. Everyone jerked their heads around as they heard the strange sounds, and they could see lights creating to the top of the trees.
"Raggy!" Scooby cried.
"Like, not again!" Shaggy got scared.
Shaggy and Scooby both sounded scared. Braedey was a bit scared, he didn't admit or act it. Willow and Daphne both held Braedey's hand, as they all walked through a part of the forest, heading towards a clearing, where a stage could be seen. Shaggy and Scooby then lost their minds once they saw the Goth girls from earlier on a stage, performing.
"Hit it, sisters." The raven-hair lead girl said with her back turned to the stage, then turned around, hissing like a vampire as she held her guitar.
"Zoinks! It's the witches!" Shaggy shrieked.
"Easy, guys." Fred tried to calm him and Scooby down. "It's just the Hex Girls." He said calmly.
"So that's who they were." Braedey smiled at them as they were performing one of their songs.
I'm gonna cast a spell on you
You're gonna do what I want you to do
Mix it up here in my little bowl
Say a few words and you'll lose control
I'm a Hex Girl
And I'm gonna put a spell on you
(I'm gonna put a spell on you)
I'm a Hex Girl
And I'm gonna put a spell on you
(Put a spell on you)
Put a spell on you
You'll feel the fog as I cloud your mind
You'll get dizzy when I make a sign
You'll wake up in the dead of night
Missing me when I'm out of sight
I'm a Hex Girl
And I'm gonna put a spell on you
(I'm gonna put a spell on you)
I'm a Hex Girl
And I'm gonna put a spell on you
(Oh yeah)
With this little cobweb potion
You'll fall into dark devotion
If you ever lose affection
I can change your whole direction
I'm a Hex Girl
And I'm gonna put a spell on you
(I'm gonna put a spell on you)
I'm a Hex Girl
And I'm gonna put a spell on you
We're gonna put a spell all around you!!!
There was then a loud explosion of coloured smoke on the stage as the Hex Girls finished their song. Braedey clapped happily and the others cheered plainly at the performance that they've just seen.
"Wow! That was Awesome!" Braedey laughed, still clapping, hyperactively.
"I have to say, that was impressive." Willow agreed.
"Thanks." The blonde girl said as she put her drumsticks up, then walked out in front of her drum kit. "What're you doing here?"
"The concert's tomorrow." The red-head one added in.
"Hey, wait a minute." The dark-haired girl came closer. "Aren't you Ben Ravencroft?"
"Why?" Ben asked with a laugh. "You're not gonna bite me, are you?"
"Cool. I've always wanted to meet you." The dark-haired girl smiled to Ben. "You're like one of us."
"Yeah, you understand what we're into." The blonde girl then noticed Braedey next to Willow. "I didn't know you had a kid."
"Oh, he's not my son. I'm his caretaker." Willow explained to her, and she held his hand. "He's one of the gang's teammates."
"I've heard about you. You helped out Mystery Inc. on that zombie island, didn't you?" The dark-haired girl asked with a smile.
"Yeah. That would be me." Braedey replied with a blushing smile, feeling a little giddy that someone famous knew him like he's a famous person herself.
The Hex Girls smiled at Braedey, then noticed Shaggy and Scooby, recognizing them. "Hi..." They hissed.
Shaggy and Scooby shook with fear, then waved friendly. "H-Hi..." They greeted back.
"That's quite an act, Miss uhh..." Fred wanted to compliment them, but he didn't know their names.
"Thorn." The dark-haired girl gave her name, and she gestured from the blonde girl to the redhead girl. "This is Dusk and Luna. We're Eco-Goths."
"Eco-Goths?" Braedey wondered.
"And we don't need your approval." Dusk said.
"Gee, all those explosions at the end were pretty mystifying, huh Velma?" Fred nudged her.
"Yeah, very mystifying..." Velma agreed, but she sounded suspicious and curious.
"So, where are you girls from?" Willow asked.
"Oakhaven, but we won't be here long." Thorn replied to Willow's question.
"We're close to cutting our first CD." Dusk added.
"That's interesting. Maybe I'll consider purchasing a CD when it comes out." Willow said to the Hex Girls.
"Well, it's been killer meeting you." Luna said.
"Same here." Ben replied.
"But, we got to get back to our rehearsal." Thorn said back, as the others were about to walk off.
"I like your outfits. They make you look cool and mysterious." Braedey smiled.
"Thank you, Braedey." Thorn smiled, and she shook his hand.
Thorn then walked off with the other girls to get back to playing and rehearsing for the concert. Fred, Ben, Shaggy, Braedey, Scooby, and the girls all left the area to discuss about what they've found out, and consider the Hex Girls to be involved with the ghost...
