A/N: Welp, I'm making things up now. Y'all liking it? Please. Help me. This is lame. Lol, oh well, it's posted now.
There was a long silence. Jacob held onto Queenie's hand. Aurelius was with Aberforth, who stood silently lost in thought.
Tina turned to Queenie. "Queenie, what made you gasp, when Newt looked at you?"
Queenie struggled with words, "He told me, in his mind, that he was a Legilimens. In my mind, I asked him to prove it. He answered with a thought, 'Is this proof enough?' He then said, 'I've been able to conceal most of my thoughts from you, which is how you didn't find out sooner. Occasionally, I'd allow myself to think out loud, so you wouldn't get suspicious. Do you believe me?'
"Newt spoke to me once. Right before Dumbledore came and got me. He said my name. I dismissed it at first, but now that you say that it makes sense." Theseus spoke.
"Ah. That must explain why Newt got such bad migraines. He is more powerful than I imagined. Extraordinary." Dumbledore muttered thoughtfully.
"What did he mean when he said, 'Look out for the Red Flare?'" asked Jacob.
"I believe Newt was talking about something only extremely powerful people can do, like Dumbledore." Lally answered, "When they concentrate enough energy, a wizard can send out a beacon of red into the sky, visible only to the magical folk. There was only one ever recorded in history by William Kelley, in 1325. I think that a Grindylow freaked him out so badly, that his magic just pushed enough energy to make a large beacon. People called it the Red Flare. It's sorta of like when we send out red sparks to get others attention. The Red Flare is like that, just on a different level. At least that's my educated guess."
Albus looked at Lally with amusement, a smile tugging at his lips. Aurelius spoke up for the first time, "How'd he glance at the future?"
"That, I'm not sure about," replied Albus, "Although, like Newt said, he's a lot more powerful than we think. He does have a Qilin, so that may be another option."
"Wait, then why can't he just some back to us? Why didn't he just escape Grindelwald in the first place?" asked Jacob.
"Probably because Grindelwald caught him by surprise. Newt also most likely doesn't use Dark Magic. Grindelwald does. Dark Magic can be greater than other magic at times. Grindelwald also might have put a spell on Newt, keeping him from performing too much magic." Replied Theseus.
Tina let out a frustrated growl. Anger flashed in her eyes. "So, what are we going to do?" she asked.
Albus thought for a moment. Suddenly, his features started changing. Albus started to look young again, and spryer. His beard darkened, and his hair shortened. Jacob let out a laugh. Queenie bit her lip, her eyes twinkling. Soon the whole room, except for Theseus, were laughing.
"Minerva already has informed the Ministry of Magic of what happened. Unfortunately, our present Minister, doesn't exactly care." Dumbledore said when the laughter finally subsided.
"I've also informed President Picquery of what happened. She said she'll be informing the other Ministries of this new information." Tina added.
"I suppose the only thing we can do now it hope and pray that Newt will be okay." Lally said. Theseus didn't say anything. He only stared at the floor. Queenie walked over to him and hugged him. A few tears jumped the Auror's eyes. Queenie whispered comforting words, rubbing his back slowly. Tina glanced at Jacob. She saw that he wasn't jealous, or heartbroken that his wife was hugging and comforting another man. In fact, Jacob looked prideful.
Dumbledore sat in thought. Finally, he looked up, "You should retire. It's late. I've made arrangements with Aberforth for you to stay at the Hogs Head." One by one, the group left the castle to Hogsmeade, each in their own thoughts.
Albus walked to his office. That was where he broke down. He was tired and anxious for Newt. His words, "I'm not sure how long I can hold out. He's ways are…different," scared Dumbledore more then he cared to admit. He hoped that Newt was ok, that he was safe. But he knew that Newt wasn't. And he was right.
