Chapter 21: Froglodytes:
Sonic's POV:
We were dealing with Sleet and Dingo.
"Don't you guys ever get tired," I asked.
"I am tired of you, Hedgehog," says Sleet.
"Syme heah," says Dingo.
"Sonic, I think you should do a spin dash," says Tails.
"My thoughts exactly," I said. I then did so and knocked the two down.
"Curse that hedgehog and his sidekick," says Sleet.
"He's not my sidekick," I said, "let's go, Kid."
. . .
We then got back. "Hey, what's going on," I asked.
"Well, Amy learned something interesting about Stix," says Sally.
"She's a packrat," says Amy, "so I convinced Stix to have a yard sale and luckily, there are plenty of freedom fighters... that we don't remember the names of that we can sell them to."
"How much for this beehive on a stick," asks the pig.
"I can't sell you that," says Stix, "my great-aunt gave that to me!"
"What about this hat," asks the pig.
"I need that to cover my beehive on a stick," says Stix.
"What about this green mold thing," asks the pig.
"I can't sell you that," says Stix, "if you hold it under a moonlight, it looks like Amy's head, with two noses and a beard!"
"Five bucks," says Amy, "I hope you like it, Pig."
"My name's Porker Lewis, but thanks."
"I'm going to look for more things," says Amy.
Amy's POV:
I found the last item, a surfboard that was blocking the back door. I heard a strange noise from behind the door. "Oh, well." I then walked away as the strange noise was still going on.
Sonic's POV:
"Enjoy your new stump helmet, penguin guy," I said.
"Thanks, and my name's Tux. You guys really need to get to know the rest of our names."
"Now, how much should we charge for that old surfboard I found," asks Amy.
"Wait. Old surfboard made of the hardest wood in the forest blocking the granite portal with the evil skull on it," asks Stix.
"Yeah, so," asks Amy.
Stix runs and Amy runs after her.
Amy's POV:
"This is the cave of the evil Froglodytes," says Stix as she pushes the door, "that surfboard was there to keep it shut!"
"Oh. Whoops," I said.
Sonic's POV:
I was walking when I saw them. "What's going on," I asked.
"Amy took down the surfboard, which was the only thing protecting us from the hordes of Froglodytes invading from the very bowels of the world," says Stix.
"My bad," says Amy.
The Froglodytes then come out and start rampaging in Knothole.
"We ahre being eenvahded by zese deesgusteeng toad mahnsters," says Antoine.
"I know you are, but what am I?"
"'n they're real mature too," says Bunnie.
"Sonic, did someone move Stix's surfboard," asks Sally.
"Wait, you knew about that," asks Amy.
"Yeah, she told everyone," says Sally.
"What was I doing," asks Amy.
"Worry about that later," I said, "we gotta take these guys down!"
"That's what you think," says the Froglodyte Leader, "Og, prove yourself!"
"He's home, sick," says another froglodyte.
"Right, I forgot," says the Froglodyte Leader, "just destroy them!"
We then took on the froglodytes.
"They have to have some sort of weakness," says Rotor.
Then the Master Emerald started to glow.
"The rock glows," says the Froglodyte Leader, "it must be dangerous! Back in the cave!" They then ran for the door.
. . .
We then had it well guarded. "That big rock sure comes in handy," says Vector.
"I just hope we don't have to put up with that again," says Sally.
"I don't know," says Stix, "I have a bad feeling!"
We then all looked at the door.
In the next chapter, Amy and Cream discover chaos.
