Hello everyone! I know! I know, this is a very short chapter, a very low chapter. However, the reason for that is that Manga is currently throwing away a lot of information that I need! Like, really, so much is going on, and I don't want to mess up the story. Does that make sense? I don't want to pull a theory only to be shown wrong. So, yeah, that's the reason I am slowing this fanfiction down a bit.
This chapter is just to keep the story going and keep the steady stream of updates going! I just wanted to make sure to let all of you know that I haven't abandoned this fic—the same with Boku No Overlord. I am now on the manga and will begin writing it again, so stay tuned!
The next update is going as follows!
-Two chapters of my original work!
-Overlord: The Demon-Who-Lived? (One chapter) - (This is a smut fanfiction, and I am going to start writing it again. But it will only be updated in . Because I don't want to get banned in .)

-Harriet Potter: The Demon Empress (One Chapter)
-One Shot, Overlord x Harry Potter fanfiction (I am still taking suggestions! If you have an idea, please let me know!)

Chapter 12
Sengoku's gaze remained steady, glaring as he locked onto the Lunarian woman sitting on the sofa. Surprisingly, she seemed completely unfazed by his intense stare, even finding some amusement in it. Kizaru was seated next to Galadriel to keep an eye on the Lunarian girl, who currently appeared to do nothing that would put her in a dangerous position. Yet, Kizaru seemed to be quite entertained by the conversation he was having with the white-haired woman.
"Engaging in combat against someone with formidable Haki must be an unusual experience," Galadriel remarked, savouring the rice cookie at a leisurely pace. "Does it happen often?"
Kizaru hummed as he took a sip of his tea. "Not truly," he replied. "Or at least not on this side of the world."
"Mm, I suppose having an admiral hunting down small pirates in Paradise is a bit overkill. Perhaps entertaining, but it can become boring," Galadriel said, and Kizaru only chuckled.
"Yes, it is," Kizaru said, and Sengoku could only shake his head.
"Kizaru, stop fraternising with a pirate," Sengoku declared, prompting Galadriel to scoff loudly at the fleet admiral.
"I am not a pirate," she replied.
"That's not how I see it," Sengoku declared. "Your actions in Sabaody Archipelago left much to desire, especially your altercation with Kizaru there."
"Uh? What did I do? I was merely defending myself against a rude man who had the audacity to try and kidnap me!" Galadriel retorted, her tone filled with offence. She cast a quick glance at Kizaru, who wore a smugly amused smile on his face. "I didn't know I had no rights!"
"You don't have rights, criminal."
"Well, I am not a criminal."
"Then why are you wearing seastone scuffs?" Sengoku asked Galadriel, who frowned at him.
"Because... you're the one who placed them on me, right? I mean, it's not my fault that the Elders have this weird obsession with me," Galadriel defended herself. Of course, she knew why the Elders were so obsessed with her, but the rest didn't need to know. Still, those words caused Sengoku to scoff in response. He could see what the woman was trying to do, yet Sengoku would not fall for it.
"Whatever the case is, you're under arrest, and be thankful we are not throwing you in a cell in Impel Down. If you're truly innocent, then you don't have to worry, right? So, until then, you better quit your yapping and wait for the judgment of the World government."
Galadriel looked mildly offended as she glanced at Kizaru. "Can you believe this guy? And he is your boss?"
"He can be quite overbearing~," Kizaru replied teasingly.
"Stop fraternising with her!" Sengoku yelled.
Galadriel chuckled, finishing the last of the rice biscuits. However, her gaze shifted towards the fleet admiral, prompting her to reminisce about Roger's stories from his younger days. He often spoke of his odd friendship with Garp. Lost in thought, Galadriel hummed softly and tilted her head in Sengoku's direction.
"Fleet Admiral, could I ask you something?"
"What is it?" Sengoku asked as he carefully glanced at her.
"Are you friends with Garp?" She asked, and Sengoku frowned.
"Yes, much to my dismay, but I fail to see how it concerns you," responded the fleet admiral, eliciting a smile from Galadriel. It appeared that what Roger had informed her about Garp and Sengoku's friendship went beyond a mere difference in attitude. It represented a distinct perspective on life as a whole. But even though both of them were so different in almost everything, they still remained friends.
"Does he bother you?" Galadriel inquired, causing Sengoku to scoff loudly at that remark. "I mean, from what I have heard of him, Garp doesn't appear to be one who likes to listen to you or to anyone."
"He is a stubborn old man, and he does annoy me. Daily," he replied, quite annoyed.
"Mm, it must be nice to have friends like him," Galadriel responded, her voice tinged with sadness and melancholy. She couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sorrow for the absence of her guildmates and friends, as well as for her most recent companion, Roger. "As annoyed he could be."
Sengoku did not reply, but it appeared he didn't have to as soon as a marine entered the room. "Fleet Admiral!"
"What is it?" Sengoku asked.
"A God's Knight is here to take the Lunarian back to Mary Geoise!"
Upon hearing those words, Galadriel leaned back on the sofa, and a bright smile adorned her face. This seemed to puzzle Sengoku and Kizaru, as they couldn't comprehend why the Lunarian would be so joyful over such an announcement.
"Your wishes appeared to be granted, Lunarian," Sengoku commented, and Galadriel nodded happily.
"It appears so, fleet admiral," Galadriel replied.
Galadriel was then led to the dockyard of Marineford, where three massive galleons awaited her. As she stepped forward, she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched intently, making her aware that something was closely observing her every move. It took her a moment to pinpoint the source. Still, once she did, Galadriel couldn't deny that it was an exceptionally strong form of Observation Haki.
"They are truly watching me now," Galadriel commented, as Kizaru, who was next to her, could only hum in agreement.
"Isn't this what you wanted?" He asked the Lunarian, who chuckled.
"I guess so. The hostility is pretty much what I anticipated. However, I believe I comprehend their motives," Galadriel remarked as they arrived at their destination. Standing there was an elderly man with a peculiar hairstyle, his expression radiating coldness. Yet, Galadriel knew this person was not simply an older person. She could sense it.
"Their motives? And what are their motives?" Kizaru asked, but Galadriel shook her head.
"I can't tell you, Kizaru. I doubt he would let you live if I were to tell you anything."
Galadriel then stood before the tall man whose hair appeared to be reminiscent of that of a crescent moon. That man was Figarland Garling, and based on what he had heard, this Lunarian knew too much. He would've eliminated this threat if it were up to him, but he was ordered to take her to Mary Geoise. There were things they needed to know that his master needed to see.
"To see another of you, what an insult to us," Figarland stated as he looked down on the Lunarian before him.
"Never change, I suppose, even after all these centuries," Galadriel replied, and soon, both of them simply stared at each other for a few seconds before he scoffed loudly.
"We are leaving."
"Goodbye, Kizaru. Hopefully, I'll see you one day soon."
Galadriel said before following the God's Knight commander aboard the ship. Kizaru only wondered if that would be the case.
The journey to Mary Geoise proved to be a huge disappointment for Galadriel. She had anticipated enduring a barrage of insults, belittling her worthiness compared to those who had come before her. However, to her dismay, Figarland Garling seemed to pay her no attention whatsoever. It seemed as if she wasn't even worth his concern. A thought Galadriel found insulting if she were honest.
She attempted to irritate him, but all she managed to elicit were sporadic scoffs. I genuinely believe he is incredibly arrogant, to the point where he doesn't even perceive me as a threat. Roger, you were spot on about their arrogance. Galadriel shook her head, amused by the situation. Then, they reached the point where the ship was being lifted into the skies, all the way up the Red Line.
"Imagine my surprise," Galadriel whispered, careful not to let the nearby marines overhear, "A Lunarian setting foot on these sacred lands after such a long time, I guess, would be deemed a sinful act to some."
At first, Garling remained silent, but then a sneer suddenly crossed his face, transforming into a malicious smirk. Galadriel, understanding the reason behind that smirk, felt a mixture of disgust and amusement. It was entertaining to think that they believed they could bring a Lunarian back to Mary Geoise after centuries and claimed that it was a victory for them.
"More than that is what we deserve, what your people deserve," Garling replied, and now Galadriel only chuckled.
"I wonder what that person would think," Galadriel added, and now it was her turn to smirk. "What would that person think if I dared to sit on that throne?"
"Do that, and we will execute you," Garling threatened her. Galadriel, however, raised her hands, feigning intimidation. But, in truth, she was teasing him, grateful that she had finally elicited a reaction from him.
"I'll be on my best behaviour," Galadriel replied, smiling.
Garling, however, did not believe it.
Mary Geoise, undoubtedly, exuded an air of pompousness with its pristine white marble and cobblestone streets. The sheer arrogance that permeated the atmosphere made Galadriel recoil in disgust, her disdain for such a place almost palpable. The sight of people's faces, the sneer of the nobles, and their arrogance left her feeling disgusted. It reminded her of the executives in her company who used to look down on everyone in the "working force" as if they were nothing but vermin.
Soon, memories came flooding to Galadriel, memories she would like to keep hidden away.
"Feeling nervous now, Lunarian? Coming to this place after such a long time?" Garling teased cruelly.
Galadriel used her current discomfort to add to her acting. "Enjoying this, aren't you?"
"Very much," Garling replied, giving Galadriel a gentle nudge forward. Everyone's gaze fell upon Galadriel, the Lunarian, as she made her way towards the grand palace of the World Nobles. However, before she could reach her destination, a sudden group of world nobles appeared to materialise out of thin air when they reached the gates of the grand palace. Galadriel let out a sigh of annoyance as she observed their distorted and disfigured faces, no doubt after centuries of intermarrying.
Do they have sex with their cousins? Perhaps sisters and brothers, too? Galadriel shivered in disgust.
"Look! A Lunarian!" One of the World's nobles yelled.
"What is she doing here?!" a world noblewoman hissed. However, before long, she found herself gazing at Galadriel with a noticeable desire in her eyes. "Well, I must admit, she is quite a sight to behold."
"Can I have her?" An ugly World noble yelled happily. "A Lunarian baby should be a good reward for us!"
"Now, now, brother, can I have her first?"
Galadriel's face twisted in disgust upon hearing those comments. If she weren't in enemy territory, she would have already ended their lives. Fortunately, Garling was present, preventing her from taking action that could force her to flee Mary Geoise before accomplishing her purpose.
"Enough, you will not touch the Lunarian," Garling hissed, annoyed.
"Saint Garling! But she is one of them! We should enslave her. She should be our trophy!"
Galadriel scoffed at the idea of being a slave; she would rather destroy everything around her than be engraved with that mark.
"Enough with the time-wasting. The elders wanted to meet this Lunarian," Garling declared, giving Galadriel another push. She huffed at the World Nobles as she walked by, even daring to spit at their feet, much to their displeasure. Their screeches were deafening, but it only made her chuckle even louder.
"I would've cut that tongue if it were someone else," Garling said, to which Galadriel responded by simply faking innocence.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
Garling chose not to respond to Galadriel's cheekiness. He was growing increasingly weary of the Lunarian's audacity to behave as she pleased and speak disrespectfully to those superior to her. However, Garling also acknowledged that this Lunarian possessed knowledge surpassing that of many, and it was this knowledge that kept her alive in every practical sense.
But not for long, of that Garling was sure.
Soon, Galadriel was led to a spacious room where she found five elderly individuals patiently waiting for her. Expecting them to be stern and potentially hostile, she was pressured to divulge all her knowledge under the threat of death, but Galadriel was taken aback when something unexpected occurred.
"So, she is here," Saint Peter announced, causing the other nobles to turn their attention towards her. "Welcome, Mary Geiose, to Lunarian."
"Please bring her something to eat," commanded Saint Mars. "She must be hungry."
With a frown of suspicion, Galadriel took a seat in front of them, acutely aware of their lingering gazes. What is their game? she pondered, fully aware that trusting them was out of the question.
"I never anticipated a warm welcome from you, especially considering your intentions," Galadriel expressed with a hint of mistrust. Although, she couldn't say she was entirely surprised. The Five Elders had a reputation for finding compromises rather than resorting to destruction or death through their authority. It was clear they were attempting to use those tactics against her.
But to what point, truly? Galadriel could not help but wonder.
"We are not savages, Lunarian," Saint Saturn declared. Despite her lack of trust in him, Galadriel opted for silence, choosing instead to observe their reasoning. It took some time before slaves presented her with a lavish meal, pointedly avoiding making eye contact with Galadriel.
"Please, enjoy," Saint Peter said.
Galadriel arched an eyebrow, yet she decided to go along with the situation. She was well aware that the Five Elders wouldn't waste their time on anything trivial. They were far too intelligent for that. So, taking small bites from the food, she began to eat her heart's content.
"It still feels weird," Galadriel said. "It's strange having all of you act so friendly towards me."
"We have our reasons for not silencing you immediately," Saint Topman Warcury firmly stated, his glare fixed upon Galadriel.
"I understand your point, but what is your motivation for doing this? Instead of trying to manipulate me, like attempting to coerce me by bringing the rest of the God's Knight, who I know are in close proximity. Among other things. You're bringing me food and treating me fairly, which is surprising coming from all of you. Did Imu command all of you to welcome me with open arms?" Galadriel's words caused a swift reaction from the Elders, and Garling fixed her with a piercing glare that made her feel slightly uneasy. Perhaps she shouldn't have played that card just yet. However, it was too late to turn back now.
"It appears you do know a lot," Saint Jaygarcia Saturn said. "There is no reason for us to hide our goals any longer."
"I guess not."
As the others replied and rambled among themselves, Galadriel continued to munch on her food, listening to their plans. However, she had a strong sense that it was not their decision to make regarding what would happen to her.
I hope things become interesting now. Galadriel thought before thinking back on Luffy. Three days, eh? I have to wait two days more to see where Luffy lands. If what that Buccaneer said is true. Then, I have an idea where Luffy will land. I have to tell Hancock.
Galadriel then turned her eyes to Garling, who was now standing next to her.
"You're going to the throne room," he said, and now he was glaring at her with ill intent. "If you try something. I'll end you."
"I'll be good, I promise."
Galadriel smiled, but of course, she wasn't necessarily promising anything to these people. She wanted to see with her own eyes what Imu could do.
