Item #: SCP-8036
object class: safe
special containment Procedures: SCP-8036 is contained i 10 ft room with a bed at the opposite end of the door. SCP-8036 has average human intelligence, so it is given normal human objects to keep it entertained and happy in its living conditions. On the left side of the room is a specialized computer for the object for its good behavior during the weekly tests we have with it. The object can only access certain sites on it, and we have not given access to a camera and only recently has the object earned a keyboard. we can't have it do tests daily due to the object's mental health dropping during these procedures. it has recently been diagnosed with depression and has since then been gifted an onsite therapist Dr. Rush, to help with its current mental conditions so it can help it stay calm during the procedures, during these therapy sessions (which are held every Wednesday) we have discovered different things about the object, such as its original home life in **REDACTED** and what happened before it transformed. The object has two chambers assigned to it, its living quarters as we discussed earlier and its testing room. We have put these rooms separate from each other so the entity can feel better in its new living conditions. in its testing room is where most of the procedures are held to help us better understand what it is.
Description: SCP-8036 is a 6'0 humanoid figure with the resemblance of a human skeleton, the object is 17 in age (at least that's what it tells us) and goes by the name Keven, which was its given name, the object seems to have small veins that form around its bones allowing it to use the veins to move just like any human. When any appendage is taken off the skeleton it's still able to move it with the veins, when staff tried to take off the veins from the bones the veins themselves tried to attack the doctors without the SCP's consent (as fair as we know). The veins have been classified as SCP-8036-1 as it seems to be a separate entity from the SCP, we do not yet know what the veins are made of because every time we try to examine them hey attack the staff by trying to burrow into the veins of the staff members, further testing is required. The researcher assigned to SCP-8036 has recently had a theory that SCP-466 and SCP-3114 could be related somehow to the SCP due to how similar they are; more research is required. We later learn from interviews from SCP-8036 that quote, "when the veins are on my bones and not threatened to be taken off it's like moving your muscle in your arm just a mindless task your body does, you know." This was a direct quote from SCP-8036, the reason it wrote it down was because it actually can't speak so we have it carry a notebook with it at all times to help it communicate with us. through this method we have discovered its origins, how it feels, and how it felt after its transformation in its hometown **REDACTED**.
The object was originally found in a church at its hometown during a church service it used to attend every Sunday which we discovered through its weekly therapist appointments. the church in question is **EXPUNGED**. While he was sitting in the church's chapel, he started to feel his skin burn during the priest's speech. quote from the SCP, "my skin burned so hot I thought I just had a sunburn, but it was in the middle of fall, then I thought something..." it stopped writing for a minute, then proceeded to write down the rest of the event." And that's when it started to feel like fire, like my very skin was melting and when I looked down, it was melting. I could hear it hit the floor. I saw everything fall." the Object stopped writing and refused to tell the rest of the story or what the thought it had was, that haunted it so badly.
The SCP itself isn't hostile and is very cooperative with staff, however it isn't as friendly with the researcher assigned to it dr. Bult. the doctor will usually not wait for it to be transported to the other room for its testing and instead intends to use its living quarters as the testing grown (unless it is required for it to be in a more stable environment) this usually has the object annoyed and irritated making it harder to tests on and would have the SCP give the doctor a rude hand jester. so, dr. Bult has sense then only used its testing room as a testing ground.
Location of origin: the SCP foundation has only recently found this object in the year of 2017, in **REDACTED**. the foundation had heard of a complaint to the local police of **REDACTED** the people on the phone were talking of a boy in the local church **EXPUNGED** screaming. 5 more phone calls later confirmed that this was most likely an anomaly due to how some of them said that the boy looked like he was melting. a task force was sent in to investigate, we found the anomaly in the church still sitting there looking at its new skeleton hands. the unit there approached it slowly when one of the task force members japed at it with a gun it looked around, by its body language it looked like the member woke it up from a trance, when the task force grabbed the anomaly, it didn't even fight back just walked with them obediently. We did learn that the object could hear and see because of one of the officers telling it of what's going on, and the object seemed to be listening and to the officer and would react to different motions the officer would do.
note: this is doctor Bult and I highly suggest we take away the object's computer as it is a security risk and not worth the money or the time of onsite technicians fixing the computer.
