Act 1, Scene 1

She woke up in a daze, mind full of haze.

And stood, and looked out to see a peasant

A peasant, beautiful as a pheasant.

Romeo had wit, the peasant had beauty.

Although Juliet had a royal duty

To marry a man, and have a royal child.

Both those options were shallow, and so mild.

She desired more, she didn't want to bore.

She sought the peasant, and then she spoke to her;

"Oh dear peasant, tell Juliet thy name?"

She'd a beautiful voice, charm that couldn't harm

And the peasant spoke, extending her arm.

?:

"I cannot believe this is a real scene!

Oh, I'm Rose, good morning, Juliet, future queen."

Juliet was struck by love,

Rose had as much pure beauty as a dove.

Juliet:

"Rose, thou ist as though an angel above!

O' Rose, your name matches your true beauty!

O' Rose, why must I have my royal duty!"

Rose blushed, but before she could think to speak,

Her father came around and took a peek.

Afraid of treason, he lost his reason

And took Juliet's lover away.

And Rose said "Father, why must thy hurt me?!"

And Juliet said "Rose, I will find thee!"

And Romeo said "Juliet, who may be she?"

Romeo just a bit yonder, she ran in heaps,

She'dn't let that pedophilic man speak.
