Act 1, Scene 2

Juliet went home, afraid and alone.

She spoke to her father, he who's a bother.

Juliet:

"Father, I met a real angel today,

Father, please listen to what I will say;

She who's Rose, a peasant, yet a pheasant,

A flower in a sea of dead bushes,

Rose, she is, thee is one who should flourish"

Lord Capulet:

"Juliet, you are fame, and what is she?

A flower is no more than a small tree.

Juliet, you believe no hitches will show?

A queen and a needy– a lady and a lady!

Juliet, no man shall help thy find thee friend,

Juliet, thou mustn't put thee bloodline to end."

Juliet:

"Father, I just want to hold her soft hand,

"O' father, how do you not understand?

When thy met Lady Capulet, no love sparked?

Did you honest not feel a thing in your heart?

Do you believe in differ for ladies than men?

Father, may your loveless reign come to end.

Lord Capulet:

"Silence, Juliet. Else Rose will be killed.

I've let your mouth have enough of a spill.

Juliet, return to your room at once,

Any more talk of Rose, that'll be for months."

Juliet needn't her father, she'd find Rose lone.

They together could likely take the throne.

Thorn's undesirable, her flower was not.

"Oh how I need Rose," Juliet had thought.
