Act 1, Scene 5
'Tis now the morning, Rose sat in unrest.
At any moment money could buy her arrest,
But she must wait outside the estate.
For her Juliet may come out later that day.
And as she'd have thought, so she had did
Out ran Juliet, stopping with a skid.
Rose called out "O' Juliet, there thee is!
O' Juliet, how wonderful it is!"
Juliet:
"O' my flower, I'd seen you from over yonder,
Through out the night I thought and pondered
Of all of us, why do all must bother?
There are hundreds, yet we're focused like otters.
In the pond, why focus us, not others?"
Rose:
"What a wise queen thee shall be!
O' Juliet, you are far smarter than thee.
O' Juliet, I do not use this word very often.
I'd vowed not to say it, even in my coffin.
Juliet, how my heart pounds in my chest.
Juliet, I wish to be with thee 'till death."
Juliet and Rose both stared at each other
Both had the same idea, but they just wondered
And then Rose had moved in, not one to dwell.
And with her lips put Juliet beneath her spell.
Their hearts had beat with each twitch of a thumb
Because she'd not done this sooner, she felt dumb.
A Rose by any other name would smell less sweet,
This Rose had captured her, had her guard beat.
She felt safe in Roses's loving embrace,
Yet equally nervous as her heart raced.
Then two lips moved from hers to her temple.
She loved Rose making her feel a temple.
And then lifted the warmth on her forehead,
Relative to that, Juliet now felt dead.
Rose smiled, and that's when Juliet'd realized
Rose was going to be here for a while.
