The Department of Mysteries, as the name implies, is a location where the Ministry of Magic conducts confidential research. Because of the nature of their work, selected wizards carried out the majority of their operations in complete secrecy. For years, this place was dead quiet, as one would expect from a hidden department. However, on June 18, 1996, a major conflict erupted in the Ministry's most secret facility.

Dumbledore's Army, a secret organization led by Harry Potter who broke inside the facility, was ambushed by the Death Eaters, the Dark Lord's loyalist followers. Later, the Order of the Phoenix, a secret society formed to fight Voldemort, comes to DA's rescue. The battle was fierce; there were injuries, and one of the Order's members was killed.

At this moment, Harry Potter is dueling against Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldermort's self-proclaimed servant. Bellatrix demands that he surrender the prophecy to her if he wishes to live, but Harry claims that it was destroyed beforehand.

"You're lying! Master, I TRIED, I TRIED — DO NOT PUNISH ME —" Bellatrix begged.

"Don't waste your breath! He can't hear you from here!" Harry said, trying to fight against the pain in his scar.

"Can't I, Potter?" said a high, cold voice. Lord Voldemort materialized in the center of the hallway, pointing with his wand at Harry, who was freezing in place. Bellatrix desperately begged for his forgiveness, but Voldemort paid her no attention.

"Too many times and for too long, Potter, you have annoyed me. AVADA KEDAVRA!" Shouted Voldemort. A green stream of light flashed from his wand, and Harry could only shrink in defense.

However, before the curse could strike him, a black-ish figure jumped out and took the green light whole. The figure fell down to his knees, motionless, and made a loud noise.

"GAME OVER!" The black figure had disintegrated into particles and was gone. Bellatrix burst out laughing at this fool's attempt to protect Harry Potter.

"Relying on others to sacrifice themselves for you again, Potter?" Voldemort taunted, his wand still pointing at Harry.

Harry gasped at what had just occurred. He could not get a good look at the person because their entire body was black. His mind was still processing who this person was and why they took on the curse for him. That was until he noticed a purple pipe rising from the ground with the colorful word CONTINUE labeled on it.

Suddenly, a loud laugh caught all three of them off guard. A man in a suit emerged from the pipe with his arms crossed. All three of their eyes widened with surprise. Even Voldemort stopped in his confusion.

"Eh, so that was the famous Killing Curse? I have always wanted to see it for myself, and it definitely lives up to its name. Luckily for me, I still have 98 lives left." The man spoke while dusting his clothes. A panel appears beside him, reading: Genm, Life Points 98."

"You… What are you?" Voldemort hissed, his eyes focused on the man.

"My name is Shin Kuroto Dan, Kamen Rider Genm." The man's smirk widened, as did his arm span. "Also known as God!" What followed was a maniacal laugh.

They were all stunned by his self-proclaimed title, then Voldemort sneered, and Bellatrix snickled along with him.

"Who are you?" Harry asked weakly, still clutching his scar in pain. He had no idea where this man came from or, more importantly, how he managed to survive after taking the Killing Curse!

"I've already told you. Dumbledore has begged God's help, and I will grant his wishes." Shin Kuroto said, still gloating. "If you want to live, hide somewhere else and let God do the rest."

Harry had no idea why Dumbledore would send this unknown man to save him, but he was too injured to fight two enemies right now, so he quickly hid behind one of the statues in the atrium. He could only hope that the other Order's members would arrive quickly enough to save them, because he did not know if this person alone would be enough to stall Voldemort long enough.

"Ah, so you are Dumbledore's errand boy. I would have thought the old man was brave enough to come here rather than send one of his lackeys." Voldemort spatted.

"Don't be misunderstood. My interest was merely aligned with his goals. As a generous God, why would I turn down his wishes?" Shin Kuroto smiled smugly.

"Deluded fool, there is no God in this world! There is only power, and those who are too weak to pursue it!" Voldemort snarled, his grip on the wand tightening.

"Hoo. Allow me to show you what true power looks like." Shin Kuroto took out a green-ish belt with a pink handle and put it on his waist. Then he pulled out a cartridge-like object and pressed its button. "Mighty Action X!"

Shin Kuroto was surrounded by a bright, pixelated wave of energy as a digital rectangle bearing the name Mighty Action X materialized behind him and engulfed the atrium.

"Grade 0, Henshin! " He pointed the cartridge downward and plugged it into the belt.

"Gashat!" He yanked the handle to the side.

""Gachan! Level up! Mighty jump! Mighty kick! Mighty Action X!" The digital rectangle passes through Shin Kuroto, transforming him into a purple-ish figure with gray lines running down his body, cartoon-ish eyes, and a game controller embedded in his chest.

"Gashacon Bugvisor Zwei!" Genm attached a blue device with A-B buttons on his right hand and directed it toward Bellatrix. She was blown apart by an energy blast before she realized what he was doing, and her body flew several meters backward. "One down."

"Gashacon Breaker!" Genm held a cartoon-like sword in his hand, the crossguard sporting A-B buttons and the blade covered in pink wires. He rushes at Voldemort, intending to slash him to pieces; his speed exceeds that of anyone who has faced the Dark Lord before. Genm swung the Gashacon Sword sideways, only a few centimeters from Voldemort, but before his blade could reach his neck, Voldemort was no longer there. Fortunately, Genm's visor has a built-in radar that scans the entire area and alerts him when his enemy has teleported behind him.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Genm could almost feel the green stream of light hitting him. He decided to put another one of his theories to the test. Genm turned his back and raised the Gashacon Sword to block the Killing Curse. The spell enveloped him in green light, and when it faded seconds later, Genm collapsed and his body dissolved into nothing. Voldemort turned his head toward Harry, believing he had finished getting rid of the nuisance, and was about to humiliate his deceased protector when he noticed the purple CONTINUE pipe. Genm flipped out of the pipe and landed in front of Voldemort, who widened his eyes.

"97 lives left." Genm inspected his body. "Interesting. It appears that physically blocking the spells is impossible. It is no surprise that wizards don't bother blocking it if it can easily get through their defense."

Voldemort and Harry were both surprised to see Genm alive after taking the Killing Curse… twice! Furthermore, he spoke casually, as if he had just returned from a picnic trip!

"You! How!?" Voldemort was outraged. How could this filth be alive after receiving the Killing Curse!? No one but him has ever survived the curse! Not even The Boy Who Lived has ever done so!

"It's simple. Your little curse cannot kill me because…" Genm takes a deep breath. "I AM IMMORTAL! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Genm's maniacal laugh disgusted Harry. He is not sure which is worse: this guy's laugh or Voldemort's hideous face. It made him wonder why Dumbledore would send this guy of all people to save him. Yet there was one undeniable fact: he was able to survive the Killing Curse, a feat that cost his mother's life. Harry is still unsure whether he should trust him, but he decides to watch the battle continue out of curiosity.

Voldemort, on the other hand, was furious at Genm's claim to immortality. Consider how he was able to survive the most powerful spells that killed many wizards and others; he is essentially mocking him! Voldemort attempted to transform the belt he wore into a snake to render his power useless, but no matter how much magic he summoned, nothing changed.

"Not going to work, Voldy. You really think I would go into a fight blind? Transfiguration won't work on me." Genm then unleashes energy blasts on his opponent. Voldemort conjures a silver shield out of thin air in an attempt to deflect the blast, but as it hits him, the shield shatters and explodes. Voldemort barely had time to defend himself against the explosion before the heat consumed half of his robe. When the smoke hasn't cleared, Genm jumps through it to face Voldemort directly. Voldemort's attempt to escape was hampered by Genm's superior speed, as Genm cut off a piece of his upper left arm with a horizontal swing before he could teleport away. A puddle of blood fell to the floor, and Genm looked to his left to see the Dark Lord clutching his arm in pain, his face filled with rage and terror.

Harry could not believe what he had just witnessed. Voldemort, the Dark Lord who instilled fear in everyone to the point where they would not dare mention his name, is now being gravely wounded by a mysterious man he knows nothing about. Based on appearance, he appears to have just stepped out of a video game, and all of his weapons resemble children's toys. Nobody would have expected him to have such speed and power at first glance, and he apparently claims to be immortal, which Harry is not sure what to make of yet.

"What's wrong, Voldy? "You look like an injured animal right now." Genm mocked as he walked slowly towards Voldemort.

Voldemort, unable to bear the humiliation, let out an inhuman scream, causing Genm to stop in his tracks. His body transformed into a black mass, which he flung at Genm. Genm titled his body sideways, easily avoiding the attack, but as he looked back, he realized Voldemort had no intention of hitting him at all. The black mass flew at Harry, who was still tired at the time, and forced itself inside him. The pain was unbearable for Harry; his body refused to listen to him, and he was being used by Voldemort against his will.

"What will you do now, Genm?" A hoarse voice came out of Harry's mouth. "I will take this boy away, and you cannot stop it."

"No matter how strong you are, you can't save this boy. You will fail!" The possessed Harry hissed.

Although Genm's expression was difficult to discern from his mask, his silence indicated that he was calmly assessing the situation. Genm's body vanished into pixels and materialized next to Harry, putting his hand on his head. The next thing Harry knew, the pain was gone and his senses were back to normal, though the strains on his body had caused him to pass out.

Black smoke escaped from Harry's body, manifesting as Voldemort. He was shaking violently, partly from the agony of losing his arm but mostly because he could not feel magic flowing through him anymore. He could not even cast a simple spell, like teleportation, to get away. This feeling of helplessness and powerlessness filled him with dread.

"It seems like my Bugster nullification ability actually works." Genm held out his hand. "All it needed was a little tweak, and it works magic like a charm."

"Well, I have gathered enough data from you, Voldy." Voldemort did not know what he meant, but he did not like how things were going. "As a generous God, I shall free you from your suffering." Genm takes out his Gashat and inserts it into the Kimewaza Slot Holder.

"Gashat! Kimewaza! Mighty Critical Strike!" Purple and blue energy are focused on Genm's foot.

Voldemort has a feeling that sound will be the end of him. He tried to crawl away, but it was futile. Genm charged at him, landing two spinning roundhouse kicks on the enemy, followed by a sidekick. The hit indicator popped up while he was being mercilessly beaten by Genm's combo breaker. The final kick lifted Voldemort into the air, causing him to explode. The Dark Lord was no more, with not even a shred of clothing remaining.

June 18, 1996. It would have been just another day in the Wizarding World if not for the uproar in The Department of Mysteries. An attack on the heart of the Ministry of Magic, something even Minister Cornelius Fudge could not have imagined. All twelve of the attackers were identified as highly dangerous criminals and apprehended. One of them, Bellatrix Lestrange, was found dead in the atrium, with holes in her chest and throat where something had punctured her body. Worse, the Hall of Prophecies was destroyed, along with all of the prophecies made over the years. Needless to say, Fudge's entire career went up in flames in the aftermath, and he was forced to hand over his position to Rufus Scrimgeour.

Fortunately, Harry, his friends, and members of the Order were able to avoid the attention. Exhausted and injured from the battle, they were put on rest for a few days. Harry, on the other hand, went directly to Dumbledore's office to interrogate him about the man who had saved him. Their conversation began with a lot of shouting and angst, but Dumbledore eventually led him to meet Shin Kuroto Dan.

Harry followed Dumbledore through a familiar hallway, only to realize it was the same hall where he had founded the Room of Requirement. As if sensing Harry's desire to meet with Shin Kuroto, the walls opened like a chamber door, revealing a room full of computers. Wires connected them, paper was everywhere, and the entire place was a mess, reminding Harry of a computer lab he would see. Shin Kuroto Dan sat in the middle of the computers, typing like a madman. He wore a headband that read "Godly Talent." He didn't seem to notice them, as he was too absorbed in his own work.

"This room is really amazing!" Shin Kuroto was ecstatic. "Everything I need just appears right next to me. With this, my work productivity has increased by 100%, no, 200%! Soon, this Gashat will be finished! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Harry hesitated after hearing his crazy laugh again, but Albus urged him to speak up.

"Umm, excuse me, Mr. Kuroto—"

"It's Shin Kuroto Dan!" He corrected, which startled Harry. "What business do you have with me, boy? I'm very busy right now."

Harry gulped; he wanted to ask him about Voldemort, his supposed immortality, his power, and so on. After a brief silence, he decided to say something else. "You saved me from Voldemort. Thank you."

"There is no need to thank me. I was there because the old man begged me to, and I also needed some important data." Shin Kuroto said, still typing furiously. "I would like to talk with you more, but as you can see, I am in the middle of working right now, and I hate it when people interrupt me."

"Oh, alright then. Maybe we can meet later." Harry was dying to know more, but he knew better than to bother someone at work, and he was too tired to stand, so he decided to head back to the hospital wing. Dumbledore remained behind, and once Harry was out of sight, he turned his attention to Shin Kuroto.

"Is it true that Voldemort is gone? That you have finally killed him?" Albus gave him a look of anticipation. He was taken back by the truth after Genm simply told him that he had killed Voldemort before storming into the Room of Requirement without explaining anything else.

"I have no reason to lie to you." He firmly stated. "Nothing is impossible with my godly talent. Killing an immortal like him is merely a nuisance."

Albus looks baffled as he finds Shin Kuroto's comments hard to believe. It does not sit well with him that this man was able to kill the immortal Dark Wizard and treat it as if it were nothing.

This is what you want, isn't it? Defeat Voldy once and for all? I simply carried out our agreement until the end." True, Dumbledore made an Unbreakable Vow with Shin Kuroto to defeat Voldemort in exchange for the freedom to roam and study the wizarding world as he saw fit. Albus was unsure whether Voldemort had truly vanished, so his suspicions about Shin Kuroto persisted, but he has remained on his good side thus far, so there is no evidence to accuse him of anything. The Death Eater and the remnants of Voldemort's inner circle are still around, so they were not really safe either way.

"Are you finished with your question? Please leave because I have a lot of work to do." Shin Kuroto refocused his attention on the screen. Albus decides to leave out of respect, feeling that he will not be able to get much information from him now. The walls closed again, leaving Kuroto alone in the room.

A few minutes after Dumbledore and Harry visited, Shin Kuroto had finally finished his latest creation. He smiled with delight as he examined the Gashat in his hand.

"It's done. This is my newest work of art!" As one would expect from the most powerful Dark Wizard of all time, his fight with Voldemort provided him with a wealth of useful data that he would not have obtained otherwise.

Before Kuroto Dan was killed by Parado, he made sure to save his data to ensure his survival. He never imagined that not only would his revival plan be successful, but that he would also be transported to another world. Truly, sometimes his genius is almost frightening! In this world, he will be known as Shin Kuroto Dan! However, he did face some initial setbacks. This world, or at least the magical side of it, appears to be lacking in technology, which made things difficult at first, not to mention that most devices malfunctioned when exposed to magic. Ha! Nothing his godly talent couldn't handle! He even discovered an amazing room that provided him with everything he required—how convincing!

However, the most difficult challenge he has faced is convincing those wizards to let him stay. The majority of wizards in this school chose the option to erase his memory and return him to the Muggle world. Muggle is the term they use to describe people who cannot use magic, as if they were comparing him to a monkey; how insulting! Fortunately, he was able to persuade the old wizard Dumbledore to let him stay in exchange for participating in his scheme. But now he has completed his Gashat! He will no longer be a player but the game master, his destined role. Those foolish wizards shall have a taste of what 'Muggle technology' feels like!

"Wizardry & Witchcraft Wonder!"

The sound of the Gashat was announced as Shin Kuroto pushed its button. A screen shows up in front of him; the title was decorated with wands and flying brooms.

"Let the game begin."

That day, the wizarding world's history shifted dramatically. Their problems were no longer interspecies relations, political or racial issues, strange beasts, government corruption, wizard Nazis, and so on. The wizarding world has become one giant game in which all wizards and Muggles compete for their lives and their magic, with the ultimate goal of becoming the ultimate wizard! However, no one will win; they will play indefinitely, just as Shin Kuroto desired.

"Wizardry & Witchcraft Wonder! (Orchestral Music)"

Wizardry & Witchcraft Wonder is an augmented reality video game created by Shin Kuroto Dan. The setting is usually set in the wizarding world, but regular people can also join the game if they wish.

In this game, there are three different factions: the Good Wizard, the Dark Wizard, and the Muggle. Each side has different objectives, but the ultimate goal is to obtain the Elder Wand and become the ultimate wizard!

For the Good Wizard side:

Their level tiering depends on how many Dark Wizards they have defeated: Troll Tier, Squib Tier, and Auror Tier.

Defeating Dark Wizards or doing good things will allow them to progress to the next level.

The higher level Dark Wizards they defeated, the faster their level progressed.

Their points will be taken if they kill innocents or commit crimes. Similar to above, the number of points taken depends on how severe the crime is.

For the Dark Wizard side:

Their level tiering depends on the number and severity of crimes that they commit: Mudblood Tier, Halfblood Tier, and Pureblood Tier.

Similar to above, their level of progress depends on the factors of their crimes. Defeating Good Wizards also counts.

Their points normally cannot be taken unless they directly violate the rule.

For the Muggle side:

Muggles are free to bring anything to the fight.

Muggles are given guidance by the super duper AI Digi-Poppy Pipopapo.

Muggle technology no longer malfunctions around magic.

They can progress their level by defeating wizards of any kind: Low Tier, Mid Tier, High Tier.

Rules:

Anything is a free game; there is no limit to killing, betraying, explotating, etc.

There is no quitting. Those who attempt will perish, without exception.

You can be one of the types listed above, but choose a different side or make no decision at all.

The AI Digi-Poppy Pipopapo will only guide the Muggle side and not anyone else. However, asking general questions is allowed for everyone.

Do not harm the AI Digi-Poppy Pipopapo or the game master. Doing so will result in instant death.

Remember, there is only one winner.

We appreciate your participation in Wizardry & Witchcraft Wonder! We wish you a great time!

SEE YOU NEXT GAME!

Well, that was the chapter of this new story. I hope you guys enjoy it. Kuroto Dan getting isekai'ed to Harry Potter is basically the gist of the chapter.

As for why I made those choices, I was browsing the internet for ideas when I came across a video about Voldemort and realized that he and Kuroto share some similarities: both are arrogant and insane geniuses who are obsessed with immortality. They have fierce rivalries with the main character, and their pettiness serves as the catalyst for the entire story. The difference is that Kuroto spent some time with the main cast and received some form of redemption, whereas Voldemort remained the main villain throughout the series and received what he deserved in the end. If we include the Kamen Rider Outsider spinoff, Kuroto is still alive and has gotten involved in some major schemes.

Anyway, if you enjoyed this first chapter, please leave a comment below. This story will probably not receive as many updates as the reaction fic, but I will try. Daichung06 is out!
