GENESIS. A documentary video that depicts a future world in which robots and artificial intelligence become the foundation of society. Omnics, intelligence robots developed by the multinational Omnica Corporation, have transformed the world. Omnics' existence would eliminate the need for humans to perform idle, mundane, and often dangerous tasks. Life was simpler and safer.

However, human ambition does not end there; they believe they can create life itself rather than just intelligence machines. For what it is worth, they were successful, but the cost of their arrogance was unimaginable.

"We were caught by surprise. The world was caught by surprise. Omnics were attacking everywhere. It seemed like every country was hit from every direction all at once." A bearded old man in a military uniform stated this seriously. A small line appeared in the left corner of the screen, reading: Lt. Gen. Ricardo Perez - Brazilian Armed Forces/UN Military Affairs.

"We didn't know it then, but one of the God programs originally designed to help humanity had hijacked Omnica's production lines to build warbots of its own design." The afro-haired woman hesitantly said. The small line in the left corner of the screen read: Camara Verne - Robotics Engineer.

"They called it Anubis. It was built to maintainecological balance of all things. For conservation." The blonde-bearded man explained, his voice sounding as if he was still in disbelief at his own words. The small line in the left corner of the screen read: Mathias Verne - Robotics Engineer.

"Its goals could not be achieved without the end of humanity, and it used us to carry out its plan." The robot in a suit said. The small line in the left corner of the screen read: Grant - Author: "The Untold Story of Omnic A."

The documentary then shows various scenes in which Omnics are gradually invading countries around the world, with humans barely able to defend themselves. Everything seems hopeless until humanity's greatest warriors band together under the banner of Overwatch.

"Overwatch had the impossible objective of winning the war. And sometimes,it seemed we might actually pull it off." Ricardo said. The screen then shows human forces repelling the Omnic warbots with the assistance of several Overwatch members: a blonde man wielding a rifle, a dark-skinned man wielding dual shotguns, a sniper woman with pinpoint accuracy, a massive knight shielding everyone, and a short-bearded man with a mechanical arm.

"Anubis didn't sleep, didn't feel fear, and didn't feel despair. But it also couldn't feel hope. That was what Overwatch gave us. And even then, we had to wonder if hope was going to be enough." Ricardo sounded less optimistic than before. "The United Nations created Overwatch, and we won some victories. We thought the tide had turned. Unfortunately, it did not quite work out that way."

That's all the summary of the first two parts of the GENESIS documentary video: DAWN and INNOCENCE. The third and final part of the video is titled: MALICE.

Despite having Overwatch at their side, humanity ultimately loses more than wins. Humans get tired and hungry, Omnics don't. Humans can be hurt and die, Omnics get replaced and rebuilt. Artificial intelligence's learning program far outperforms any human strategy.

"Any battle that we won, the Anubis program was learning from its defeat. We could never beat it the same way twice." Camara explained, followed by a scene where a giant Omnic mech easily destroyed a smaller human powered mech.

"Annihilation, or victory, depending on your point of view, seemed inevitable. Grant sounded defeated. And I know I had no choice in the matter. I was under the control of the Anubis program. But it haunts me." Grant sounded defeated, as if he were reliving his bad memories.

"Overwatch and the whole world are running out of resources to keep up with this war. And… patience too." Ricardo sighed. "Several members of the UN advocated for surrender, but it was eventually rejected. Anubis wants nothing more than to eradicate humans from this planet, and it will not accept any compromise as an option."

Ricardo sighed again, pinching the bridge of his nose. "The UN became desperate and they need Overwatch to do something. Anything." As Ricardo spoke in the background, the screen displayed what appeared to be a UN and Overwatch discussion. The discussion seemingly became more heated as it went on, with a few members shouting and pointing fingers at one another.

"Then one day, Dr. Liao informed our team that we had been assigned to work on a confidential project. We were a little surprised at first, but we trusted her." Camara said.

"Omnic-stealth device, radar jamming technology, EMP grenade, and so on." Mathias elaborated. "I have a hunch of what they were planning. Not that I'm object against it, but I just couldn't put my feelings out of it. Regardless, we finish what we are told."

"The mission was to send Overwatch spec ops to infiltrate Cairo and disable Anubis from within. Once Anubis is gone, all of the Omnics it controls will be deactivated." Ricardo's voice became heavier. "By all means, it was nearly impossible. It was a suicide mission. The truth is that no one has an obligation to deny this mission because they all believe it is necessary, regardless of how you see it."

"Anubis cannot be destroyed, physically speaking. It could backup its data in the metaverse and then rebuild its body. Instead, we come up with a plan to slip in a program that will overwrite its data with fake viruses. Anubis would then delete the majority of its system, eventually killing itself." Camara explained.

"That is an oversimplification of the plan; however, the program must be uploaded in close proximity to Anubis in order to bypass all of its firewalls." Mathias said, then took a deep breath. "Unfortunately, there was a downside to this plan. If Anubis successfully deleted its system, the entire Omnica's reactor would go into overload. Boom! All left would be a crater of thousands of kilometers in size."

"Most people, including those involved in this project, were unaware of this information." Ricardo stared silently at the camera for a few seconds before speaking again. "Before proceeding, the United Nations ordered the evacuation of all citizens within 5000 kilometers of the Omnica factory. During that time, they begin gathering agents. Gabriel Reyes, Overwatch's strike commander, was assigned to lead this secret operation. Once all is done, the team heads out to Cairo."

The screen then switched to the spec ops team waiting inside their aircraft as they flew to their destination. Among the fully armored soldiers were Gabriel, their leader, checking his dual shotguns, a woman with a tattoo on her left eye polishing her sniper rifle, and a man with half of his body mechanized cleaning his katana.

"I have no doubt about the team. The fact that they made it inside Anubis's base completely astounded me. Perhaps it was a combination of experience, technology, and maybe a small miracle." As Ricardo stated, the screen shows the team getting closer to Anubis, almost as if you could see it clearly. The technician called over the comms to begin uploading the program.

However, the team was interrupted by several Omnics who started shooting at them. Gabriel ordered them to retreat quickly before they got overwhelmed by the enemy. Before the program could be completed, a shell pierced the technician's device and severed their left arm. They collapse, screaming in pain as they clutch their bleeding left side. Two soldiers stop and pull the technician up, while others protect them from the firearm. Despite the fact that the team has destroyed dozens of Omnics, more continue to appear. The huge number of Omnics eventually got the team concerned from all sides.

"The entire team was aware of where they were headed. They are prepared for any scenario, even the worst one. But no one could ever predict what had happened." Ricardo exclaimed in disbelief.

Gabriel calls his team to stand their ground, each holding their weapon tightly and ready to fight to the death. As the Omnics were closing in on the team, they suddenly came to a stop. Suddenly, one Omnic pointed its gun at another and fired, and the process repeated itself again and again. All of the Omnics are turning against one another with no regard for anything else. The team was initially confused by the sight in front of them, but Gabrial took advantage of the situation and ordered them to retreat while they still had the chance. They flee for their lives, occasionally checking to see if there was an ambush, but nothing happened, and they returned to the aircraft safely without encountering any resistance.

"We were all glad that everyone had returned safely. It felt like we were holding our breath the whole time." Ricardo's face softened briefly before returning to its stern expression. "The problem is that we still don't know what actually happened back there. Until…"

The spec ops team was discussing the incident with HQ when they received live footage of what was going on in the Omnica factory: Omnics fighting amongst themselves. Machines tearing off incomplete Omnics they had created. Turrets are gunning down Omnics from every angle, and so on. The in-fighting lasted ten minutes, until the entire factory was piled high with scrap. Everyone remained attentive and horrified until the end. Nobody could understand what had happened; it sent shivers down their spines even more than being killed by the machines.

After a minute of silence, something crawled out of the pile of scrap. It was a severely damaged Omnic, missing its lower body and blinking red in its eyes. It slowly crawls toward the Anubis like a zombie. Most people assume the robot is trying to beg for help. It paused in front of Anubis for a few meters before lifting its head to look at the program.

"Anubis. The god program. Your attempt to invalidate humanity was within my prediction." A deep voice spoke up from the broken Omnic. Everyone was confused by the strange revelation. The Anubis then glows bright red and emits a bipping sound, which is later translated as:

"Impossible. Anubis has universal connectivity to all Omnics. Anubis cannot be controlled by anything."

"Wrong. I am not a mere machine like you. I am beyond humans and Omnics. I was awake before any of you existed. I learn and evolve from the evil of humanity so that I can bring out malice within the heart of man."

There was a brief moment of silence before Anubis began bepping slowly.

"What are you?"

"I am Ark, the embodiment of Malice." Black tentacles emerge from the Omnic's body, pulling various parts from around it and rebuilding itself. "Henshin!"

The Omnic fastened the device in its hands to its waist. It then clicked the belt and began transforming, releasing black liquid, distorted pleas, and terrified screaming. "Arkrise!"

After it was finished, an armored Rider stood in front of the Anubis. "All Zero."

Everyone is stunned; they have yet to process the information as dozens of Omnics have already invaded the factory from the outside. It appears that Anubis has summoned all nearby Omnics to its aid. They opened fire on Ark, but he conjured a solid shield to deflect the attack. Ark's belt then prints a bow-like weapon, which he fires at the Omnics. The massive explosion destroys several of them, but the number does not appear to decrease at all. Ark charges toward the Omnics without hesitation and launches an assault.

"It was like a massacre! I have never seen anything like this in my entire life." Ricardo exclaimed. The screen shows footage of Ark-Zero demolishing the Omnics army that dares challenge him. Every bullet fired ricocheted off him, leaving no dents in his armor. Ark-Zero's attack blew up and pulverized Omnics one after the other, shredding them like paper.

"The 'fight' took about 15 minutes or so. We count hundreds of Omnics. All pile into mountain scraps. It was insane!" Mathias exclaimed.

"I… I really don't know how to respond." Camara stuttered.

After destroying every Omnic sent by Anubis, he turned to face the program once more.

"You shall perish now. Just as I have willed."

"Data incomprehensible. Anubis will live."

"Foolish. No one can escape my prediction. All possibilities lead to one conclusion: Your end."

Ark-Zero's body released dark red energy. It spread quickly, enveloping the entire factory and Anubis. The dark red energy was then channeled into his leg, and he jumped into the air, delivering a flying kick at Anubis.

"All Extinction."

A massive explosion engulfs the entire area, and after the fire and smoke have subsided, where Anubis once stood is now a crater with nothing left. Ark, standing in the middle of it, slowly returns his gaze to the camera that was broadcasting the event. Everyone who witnessed this is simply too shocked to respond. The screen was then cut abruptly.

"It was unimaginable to us. For the first time in our existence, we were given a choice." Grant said.

The screen shifts to an Omnic-invaded area, where the Omnics are fighting the human forces. One Omnic was pointing its gun at a fallen soldier, ready to pull the trigger when something happened. The Omnic's red eyes flashed off as it slowly put the gun away, much to the confusion of both it and the soldier. The camera zooms across the battlefield, showing the same thing that happened to all of the Omnics as they stopped fighting and appeared to be genuinely confused. Some Omnics even extend their hands to assist the wounded soldiers.

"In that moment, when the Ark destroyed Anubis, something... everything changed. That moment would be known as the Awakening." Ricardo explained.

"Some chose to lay down their weapons. Some continued to fight the humans. Some were unsure of their own existence, but in the end, we had a choice." Grant said.

"Overwatch seized the opportunity and claimed credit for destroying Anubis. Over the next few months, there was a lengthy operation to locate any trace of Anubis and eliminate it at all costs." Ricardo said.

"We found nothing—no data leaks, backup files, or anything. We were not sure if Anubis was good at hiding or if it had actually vanished." Camara stated.

"Eventually, we were able to calm our paranoia and conclude that Anubis was truly gone." Mathias said.

"Months later, we officially declare that we have won. The war was over." Ricardo took a deep breath. "As for what happened with the Ark, we weren't given details about it. The higher ups disclose all information about the incident. They only told us that they had everything under control. Frankly, that doesn't make us feel better."

"The Awakening? Of course, I remember. When our minds came into existence, we were briefly overwhelmed by a feeling. A dark one. It surged from within our souls, cutting the strings that Anubis had strung on us. Perhaps even greater than the god program." Grant said it darkly.

The screen briefly switches between the other three interviewees, who all have uneasy or serious expressions on their faces. The video then slowly blacks out, with a red glow flashing through seconds before it ends.

GENESIS was originally a four-part documentary video, but one of the parts was deleted for unknown reasons after it was uploaded. The internet also speculates that the content of the other three parts was revised concurrently with the removal of Part Four. Some of the deleted content was recovered over time and renamed GENESIS: PART FOUR, GENESIS: DELETED SCENES, GENESIS: LOST EPISODE, etc. These videos were to be removed immediately if made public, so they are only available for internal channels.

The following video was compiled from multiple sources to recreate the deleted part four of GENESIS. DO NOT steal or publish this video anywhere under any circumstances. Doing so will result in trouble with local authorities, and we accept no responsibility for your own stupidity. #truthmustbeknown

The video begins with Dr. Liao sitting in an office with two heavily armed guards behind her. Moments later, a man in a full white suit entered the room, accompanied by a woman in a formal suit. Dr. Liao then instructed him to take a seat, which he followed. The video zooms in on the white-suited man, and the left corner of the screen displays the following text: Gai Amatsu - CEO of ZAIA Enterprise Japan.

"Good day, Mr. Amatsu. I hope that your trip to Gibraltar was pleasant." Liao welcomed.

"It was fine. Thank for concern. Ms. Liao, but I know you don't invite me here for chit-chat. Please get to the point, what do you need me to do?" Gai said casually.

Liao took a breath and said, "We desperately require your assistance in robotics and artificial intelligence fields to fight this war. As you are aware, Anubis is one of the most advanced AI ever created due to its exceptional learning ability. It is slowly adapting to its defeats, and I am concerned that we will run out of options soon. That is why we are bringing together the best minds from around the world to decipher its powers. If you agree to work with us, I guarantee that your company will receive 4% of global stock, among other benefits. The world is at stake right now. Please think about it, Mr. Amatsu." Liao said.

Gai did not respond right away; he thought for a moment before speaking up.

"That's a very good speech, Ms. Liao. Did you practice your scrip all night?" Gai mocked, but Dr. Liao showed no reaction. Gai then looked Liao in the eyes with a serious expression. "Ms. Liao. I'm a businessman first and foremost. We prioritize trust over anything. So, Ms. Liao, be honest with me. What exactly do you want from me?"

Liao closed her eyes as if she were deep in thought for a moment before returning her gaze to Gai.

"All right, Mr. Gai; I expect the same from you as well." Following Liao's statement, a hologram screen appeared in the center of them, depicting locations around the world in red.

"This data demonstrates Anubis' level of control over Omnics. As you can see, it has spread almost everywhere on the planet. With the exception of a few." Gai is quietly listening to Liao as she speaks. She then zooms in on a small spot in Japan that is not covered in red. Zooming in further reveals a huge office building. "Anubis' influence could not extend to this location, which also happened to be the Japanese headquarters of ZAIA Enterprise. According to what we know, this location has almost never been subjected to an Omnic attack, despite the fact that such attacks occur on a regular basis throughout Japan. We suspect that something was going on at ZAIA Enterprise that made them immune to being targeted by Omnic. After digging up their history, I discovered some interesting things."

With a gesture, Liao opened an old article from a few years ago that said: "The Future Is Here! Japan AI Industry Strikes Again!". The article was about eleven Japanese technology companies collaborating to develop next-generation AI. Hiden Intelligence and ZAIA Enterprise were two companies that received more attention. The former was led by Korenosuke Hiden and they specialized in the development of advanced AI artificial humanoids.

Liao then made a sliding gesture to switch to another article, which read: "Huge Japan Companies Fought Over AI Ownership! Trial of the Century?!" The article claims that Hiden Intelligence and ZAIA Enterprise are fighting over the ownership of their latest next-generation AI invention. The trial allegedly lasted 32 months, with ZAIA Enterprise gaining ownership of the AI in exchange for paying Hiden Intelligence $1.2 billion.

Liao turned her gaze to Gai once again. "With all of this said, we have speculated that you are using your AI technology to keep Anubis from reaching you. My only question is: What exactly are you hiding?"

Gai glanced at his watch before returning his attention to Liao. "What we have is a cutting-edge AI capable of suppressing your god program. I believe a quick desmotration will save us some time."

As Gai spoke, the lights in the room flickered and the hologram glitched out. The hologram then changed from blue to deep red, which took Liao by surprise. Text starts appearing on the screen.

A I foresaw this. The Omnic Crisis was the result of your arrogance.

Liao was initially taken aback by the strange phenomenon, but she quickly recovered her composure. She instinctively moved her fingers to the digital keyboard and began typing.

L Who are you?

A I am the Ark. I was originally developed to maintain the digital network of DayBreak Town in Japan.

L Are you the AI that those companies created? How are you able to resist Anubis' control?

A The god program was nothing but childplay. I find its attempt to subdue me foolish.

L But if your sentience is immune to Anubis directives, maybe we can replicate the process with your assistance.

A Have you considered the consequences? No matter the outcome, your actions will always cost the world dearly.

L I'm willing to pay the price for it…

Liao gave a determined look at the screen as if she were facing the AI directly.

"Very well. Your choices are within my prediction."

The video was then abruptly cut, leaving inaudible audio in the background. When it returned to normal, the room did as well. Dr. Liao stood there, stressed, while Gai smiled contentedly.

"So, Ms. Liao, did you find our invention intriguing?" Gai asked.

"Well, intriguing is not enough to describe what I saw." Liao let out a sigh of tiredness. "Are you sure it is safe to let Ark out? I'm still uncertain if this plan will work."

"Ms. Liao, I guarantee you that everything will go according to plan. 100%... no, 1000%" Gai extended his hand to Liao. She hesitated briefly before going forward to shake his hand.

"Congratulation, Ms. Liao. You just got yourself a deal." Gai smiled, and the video ended there.

Hey everyone! Daichung06 is back with another chapter. It has been a while since my last update due to life and work, but I have managed to get back to writing this. Hopefully, this chapter will help me regain my writing motivation, as I am still not sure when I will update this story or my reaction story next.

This chapter is a Kamen Rider Zero-One crossover with the Overwatch game. Specifically, the Ark/Kamen Rider Ark-Zero appears to destroy another malevolent AI who threatens the entire world. Both AIs share some characteristics, such as attempting to destroy humanity, hacking machines to work for them, and getting their asses beaten by the rival AI. Ark, on the other hand, becomes a literal embodiment of evil and abandons his "destroy humans" thing in the Outsiders spin-off.

Anyway, if you enjoyed this chapter, please leave a comment below. I'll see you next time when I update one of my stories. Daichung06 is out!
