"Three whole days passed, since I met Pakura and escaped Kirigakure's ambush. To ensure our safety, I took her to the one place that no one would bother to look for us."
"Wow. This place is amazing..." Pakura smiled and closed her eyes as she and Sato were resting their bodies in an outdoor sauna.
The sauna that they were resting in was circular, like a crater. And there was a large rock in the center of it. Sato and Pakura had sat on opposite sides of the large rock-so that they would have privacy to themselves, but could still hear each other speak. Pakura's hair remained in tact.
"That's right. I took Pakura to Yugakure-where we can rest our bodies and minds. It took us three days to get there. I had taken a few missions within the Land of Steam and before I had departed from the country... I enjoyed their saunas after I had completed the missions."
"Are you feeling okay, over there?" Sato had asked Pakura from one side of the boulder to another.
"Don't come over here." Pakura had asked, assuming that Sato was going to move his body toward her.
"Uh, okay..." Sato had replied in a nervous tone. 'Geez. I was just asking if she was okay.' Sato had thought to himself. 'Well, come to think it...' Within the next five seconds, Sato had looked down at his lower body. 'It would be a bit embarrassing if I just roamed over to where she was--without using common sense.'
"So, um... how are you liking the water over there?" Sato had asked Pakura.
"Its... okay." Pakura had said.
Sato had smiled after hearing her response. "Do they have any hot springs within Suna?"
"What's with the hundred questions?" Pakura had yelled.
"S-Sorry." Sato had chuckled, embarrassingly.
"You still haven't answered my question, yet." Pakura said in an annoyed tone.
"Um, sorry. What was the question, again?" Sato had asked in an embarrassed tone.
"Why are you asking me a hundred questions?" Pakura asked.
"A hundred questions? Uh, I - I'm trying to get to know you, that's all." Sato had replied.
"You're not trying to make me let my guard down--so that you can take a peep at me, are you?" Pakura asked.
"W-What? A peep? N-No way! I don't do that kind of stuff!" Sato had replied in a nervous tone. He blushed a bit.
"Yeah, right." Pakura said in disbelief. "I've seen and worked with guys like you who tries to get on women's good side--only to try spy on them and catch a feel."
"C-Catch a feel? What does that have to do with--"
"I know a pervert when I see one! That's how!" Pakura yelled.
"And I also know about your special DÅjutsu. If or when I catch you using your Byakugan to try to peek at me, you're gonna get more than just a sunburn. That, I promise you!" Pakura said in a serious tone.
"Y-you got it! I understand! You're the boss!" Sato had cradled himself by wrapping his arms around his knees in the hit spring water. 'She's really scary when she's mad...'
On the other side of the boulder... Pakura had continued sitting in the water... leaning her back against the large boulder. 'This place is really nice. I wonder, if...' She had wrapped her arms around her breasts. 'I'd be able to hide here, forever--without getting caught?' Pakura had sighed, silently. she then glanced up and looked at the shining stars. 'I wonder, if Maki is doing alright, back in Suna?'
Meanwhile...
Within Sunagakure... there was a heavy sandstorm. Inside a house was a young Suna Kunoichi, named Maki whom was tossing and turning left and right within her bed. She was having nightmares.
Flashback
One week prior...
Within the village of Sunagakure... Pakura of the Scorch Style was exiting Suna through the front entrance of the large rocky walls.
It was a sunny day. the birds were chirping. There were no clouds in the sky. And there were no sandstorm in sight.
"Pakura-san!"
Pakura was about to exit the front entrance, until she heard a voice being called. 'That voice... could it--' Pakura had slowly turned half her body to the right. Only to see her student, Maki. Who's running toward her.
"Pakura-san! Pakura-san!"
"Maki?" Pakura had called Maki by her name as the young Kunoichi had caught up with her sensei.
Maki had panted and rested her arms on her knees. "Huff... huff..."
Pakura waited, until Maki had caught her breath. It had taken seven seconds, before Maki had caught her breath.
"What are you doing here, Maki?" Pakura had asked, kindly.
"I... I heard that you were leaving Suna for Kirigakure." Maki had replied.
"I am." Pakura nodded.
"But, why though? I thought that you despised Kirigakure for killing your loved father?"Maki asked, feeling concerned.
"I do." Pakura had then bent a knee and placed her right hand on Maki's left shoulder. "But, I must follow orders."
"Orders?" Maki asked.
"Kirigakure has suddenly opened up discussions with Sunagakure--and I was ordered by Yondaime Kazekage, himself to act as an ambassador for Suna." Pakura had answered and informed Maki.
Maki had silently gasped.
Pakura had then removed her hand from Maki's left shoulder and then stood on her two feet. "I must get going, now." Pakura had then turned away from Maki, then faced the exit of Sunagakure. "Farewell, Maki." Pakura had begun walking, again. Toward Kirigakure.
Maki was left sad and confused. She lowered her head and bit her lip for two seconds.
As Pakura had continued to departure from Suna...
"W-wait!"
Pakura had stopped for a second, the slightly turned her head to the right. She could see Maki in the corner of her right eye.
"P-Promise me that you won't die!' Maki had shouted as she placed her hands around her mouth. "That's all I ask!"
Pakura had heard Maki's shout. And within four seconds... Pakura had turned her head back to her destination and kept walking forward.
A single tear had streamed down Maki's left face. 'Please, Pakura-san... don't die. You're the only one who can help me become stronger.'
End Flashback
"Pa... Pakura-san. P-Please, be safe..." Maki had muttered in her sleep as she kept tossing and turning left and right.
Meanwhile...
Within the inner village of Sunagakure... Rasa, the Yondaime Kazekage had stood within a sphere-shaped building, which happened to be the Kazekage's office and stared at the window.
He saw nothing but a sandstorm blowing. He did not blink. He did not flinch. He just... stared. Suddenly...
"Kazekage-sama!" A Shinobi from Sunagakure had suddenly burst in the Kazekage office.
"What is it? This better be important." Rasa had replied as he kept staring at the sandstorm outside the building through his window.
"Uh, it is. Sir." The Suna Shinobi had bowed for a few seconds. "I have just received word from our spies that Pakura of the Scorch Release had..."
Rasa's eyes had opened up a single centimeter. After hearing the news.
