SHAZAM CONFLICT WITH BATMAN.
ONESHOT.
In the depths of the Batcave, Batman meticulously analyzed the recent surge of superhero activity, particularly the exploits of a new figure emerging on the scene – Shazam. The reports painted a picture of a formidable force, one whose power rivaled even that of Superman. Intrigued and perhaps a tad skeptical, Batman decided to venture beyond the borders of Gotham City to investigate firsthand.
Meanwhile, on the bustling streets of Philadelphia, Shazam, the city's self-appointed protector, soared through the skies with an air of confidence that only a teenage superhero with the power of the gods could possess. He had just thwarted another Robbery, his grin was as bright as his lightning-charged aura.
Little did either hero know that their paths were about to intersect in an unexpected clash of capes.
As the shadows of dusk enveloped the coastal city, Batman descended from the darkness, his cape billowing behind him like the wings of a vigilant predator. With calculated precision, he set up an intricate trap, confident that it would ensnare the mysterious Shazam.
However, as Batman lay in wait, his plans were rudely interrupted by the sudden appearance of a bolt of lightning, heralding the arrival of Shazam himself.
The young hero touched down with a flourish, his vibrant red suit standing out against the urban backdrop. As Batman's trap sprung, Shazam's lightning reflexes caught him off guard. The Caped Crusader found himself ensnared in his own devices, struggling against the bindings as Shazam descended with an amused smirk.
He cast a quizzical glance at the brooding figure of Batman, his expression a mix of annoyance and amusement.
"What do we have here?" Shazam quipped, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he surveyed the trapped vigilante before him.
Batman gritted his teeth, his steely resolve undiminished even in defeat. "I seek answers," he growled, his voice a low rumble in the cavernous space.
"So let me just understand this," Shazam began, his voice tinged with sarcasm. "You decided to travel around 100 miles from Gotham City to come to Philadelphia just so you can interrogate me?"
Batman, ever the stoic, remained silent, his jaw clenched in determination.
Shazam rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest. "Look, Bats, I've got better things to do than play twenty questions with you. Like, I don't know, saving the world?"
The Dark Knight bristled at the nickname but said nothing.
"Besides," Shazam continued, his tone not wavering, "this is my Hometown. Philadelphia is under my protection. If you've got a problem with that, then suck it up."
Batman narrowed his gaze, his mind racing with suspicion and calculation. But before he could respond, Shazam fixed him with a deadpan stare.
"Here's some advice, Batman," Shazam said, his voice firm. "Get your priorities straight and work on those trust issues of yours. Gotham City is your domain. Leave Philadelphia to me."
With that, Shazam turned on his heel, the crackle of lightning accompanying his departure. Batman watched him go, a mix of frustration within him.
Their first encounter may not have gone as planned, but one thing was certain – the clash of capes was far from over. And in the streets of Philadelphia, a new dynamic hero had emerged, whether Batman liked it or not.
I never had a High Opinion Of Batman and his Paranoia ever since I watched the Justice League Doom Movie so I can imagine him pulling something like this.
PS: I do not own Batman and Shazam as DC Comics holds Rights.
