Author's Note: I do not own the rights to Danny Phantom. All rights reserved by Butch Hartman. Hello everyone! How are you doing? I hope that everyone is doing well. If not, I'm sorry if you're having a bad day or a bad week or just a bad month or even year. Here's hoping it gets better for you.

After laughing at Dash Baxter, a high school jock and bully, stuffed animals fell out of his locker. The three best friends started walking to class.

The Goth girl teen asked Danny and Tucker if either of them had heard about an accident outside of town. Both boys gave a questionable glance before saying,

"We've heard something about that, but we didn't know how bad it was." Danny said.

Sam then said, "Apparently, it was a really bad accident. Two people died, and only one survived."

Both Danny and Tucker gasped in shock. But then, a voiceover spoke over the PA system, asking for Sam Manson. Tucker Foley, Danny Fenton, and Jazmine Fenton please come to the principal's office. Your parents are waiting for you both." The voiceover said.

I wonder what that's about, Tucker said with curiosity as they began walking to the principal's office.

They heard a familiar, cheery voice.

Danny said with a sigh, "Here comes Miss Know-It-All."

Sam and Tucker chuckled as Jazz caught up with the three of them and said

Hey, do any of you know what this is about?

And then Tucker said, "While reading the news on my PDA."

Not a clue. Then Sam and Danny looked over Tucker's shoulder. Their eyes widened and paled when they saw the picture of a smashed-up car. The front half of the car was crushed up to the passenger and driver's door, and the front half of the car was caved in. There appeared to be blood all over inside the car.

Then Jazz noticed their faces and asked if they were okay. They asked if she had heard anything about the car accident. She paled as she was shown a picture of the accident, and almost threw up as she squeezed her eyes shut and took deep, slow breaths.

Oh my god, and they said there was a survivor. I think it would be a miracle if someone actually survived that.

The teenager heard a familiar jubilant booming voice; everyone looked to a large man in an orange and black jumpsuit with a smiling woman in a blue and black jumpsuit with red goggles next to him. Danny's Ghost-Sense went off, and a man in black came in, and Sam knew the man was a lawyer.

Then the man introduced himself, asking if any of them had met a gentleman by the name of Terry Moore. The four teens knitted their brows and frowned in confusion, while the four adults in the room jolted back in shock, staring at each other in confusion.

How is Terry doing? Mrs. Manson asked.

The man sighed with pain and sadness in his eyes, and said sadly,

"Terry Moore is no longer with us…" Nor is his wife Brenda, but their son Toby Moore is in critical condition.

I'm sure you already know about that car accident outside of town, and you are right. They were involved in that accident, but I'm being told that the six of you will be taking care of Toby Moore. It was in Terry Moore's will.

The six adults were shocked by what they had learned, and so were the four teens.

However, the man said there is a lot to explain; let's continue talking at the hospital. I'm going to check on him now.

The Fentons, the Foyles and the Mansion families have signed their teens out for the day and are getting into their own vehicles to start making their way to the hospital. While meeting in the parking lot, they

Tuckers spoke up in a nervous voice, looking down at his shoes. "I'm going to hang back in the car, okay?"

Sam sighed. So did Tucker's parents. While Danny and his parents and sister looked confused,

Sam said in a calm and understanding manner.

He has a fear of doctors, nurses and hospitals.

But anyway, let's go see how Toby is doing. The lawyer said as he came up.

They began to walk through the doors of the hospital and stopped for a moment so that the lawyer could get information on Toby's floor and room number, and continued their way. But then a nurse came up to update them about Toby.

The nurse said, "He has a 1-inch gash on his side of the head and needs about eight stitches. There's also an inch gash on his chest, but that only required four butterfly stitches."

But the nurse stopped as her pager went off and said

Sorry, but I have another patient who needs my attention. There is another nurse who will give you more information about his condition. She said as she walked down the hall to the left.

The group continued on to Toby's room after a while; they made it to the room he was in, while walking, a nurse stepped out of the room and said.

Ah, you're the group that's here to see Mr. Moore? He's sedated and he will be under for a few more hours, but he is in bad shape. He had metal fragments pulled from his foot. We had to dig from top and bottom. So seven, but he also has a whiplash spine and I really bad nasty bruise on his hip and some rub burns and his jaw is badly bruised.

And his fingers are cut up, but not bad. But part of his thumb was almost cut off. But it's going to leave a bit of a nasty scar. And we believe he also has a dislocated tail bone, but nothing too serious. But he is going to need to stay in hospital care for two months. Then the nurse gave them a warning because the sigh isn't pretty.

The group walked in to see him lying unconscious, with bandages covering some of what they could see. The ladies and the teen girls gasped as did the women from all three households.

Then the men of the three households swallowed hard. So did Danny.

That poor boy, Mattie said in a sympathetic and painful tone
