Neb: Lost within the Dark Corridor of Isis, Vincent and Scrooge McDuck will face a cult of witches dedicated to the Egyptian Goddess. Vincent seems afraid, especially of the witch he knew a while back at the start of his days as a Treasure Hunting Mage. Rosina Evermore, a witch with the ability to control and alter the minds of her victims had once used her power on Vincent and turned him against Madame Aurora. That was only their first encounter, there were many others that I do not wish to reveal at this time. She now possesses an Amulet of Quetzalcoatl giving her extended life. Yet another foe of Vincent's that's gained god like powers. Anyways I do not own Ducktales. This is a fanfic and I hope you all enjoy.

Vincent and Scrooge kept to the shadows away from the torch lights as they made their way through the halls. They had to loose there Diving Equipment to lighten their load, so someone was going to find out they were there eventually. But that was ok, because their plan now was to strike the enemy before they have a chance to strike.

"They don't have any crystal balls or anything to spy on us with do they?", Scrooge whispered. "Because that would make sneaking around pointless."

"I... I don't know if they have that," Vincent admitted. "But we already know they are planning on trapping us, so we just have to stay alerted."

"Oh Vincent, Vincent, Vincent," a familiar voiced echoed through the halls. "How I've longed to watch your pretty fireworks set my enemies ablaze."

Vincent got chills as he clung to the wall he was hiding by. She was extending her voice, that didn't mean she knew where they were.

"I see you brought an elder friend as well," she continued. "Did you finally dump that hack Madame Aurora for better company?"

"Elder friend," Scrooge responded. "Mind your manners young lady," Scrooge called out.

"Feisty," the witch laughed. "That accent gives away that he is Scrooge McDuck. You really brought the richest Duck in the world with more enemies then there are stars in the sky."

"Let's not exaggerate," Scrooge scoffed.

Vincent moved away from the shadows. It didn't matter, their position was given away the moment Scrooge responded to her.

"How about you give me my soldier and I'll let you leave elder duck?", Rosina offered. "Someone as powerful as you has no use for others anyways. Not to mention he knows magic, the very power that Scrooge McDuck hates."

"I refuse to use magic," Scrooge nodded. "I often look down on those who do. But I will not betray this lad because of my own bias."

"How touching," another voice laughed. "We outnumber you ducks, I hope you realize."

"Hayley, this is my call," Rosina growled. "Nevermind her, if we can't negotiate with you then there is no point. Still, I have the ability to make your enemies stronger Scrooge. I could give Magica back her power for instance. It'd be pretty easy given the amulet I have is pretty equivalent in manna."

"Threats won't work on me lassie," Scrooge laughed. "I've defeated Magica before, I can defeat you as well. Just let Vincent go, I'll gladly fight against your cult in his place."

"That wasn't the deal," Vincent growled. "We're partners in this remember?"

"No we were partners back in the Caribbean," Scrooge shook his head. "Now we have been transported to another country. Take this opportunity to leave."

"I have no interest in you elder duck," she responded with venom in her voice when she said elder. "If you do not fear Magica then perhaps freeing the Bombie will send you running."

"Now I know you are lying," Scrooge shook his head. "Both enemies are very powerful, but no one has seen Magica in ages and the Bombie has magical defenses keeping it locked away. I'm not scared of any of my already defeated enemies you throw at me."

"Very well," she sighed. "Then you face the wrath of my sisters and I. No one will be let go, we will destroy the richest duck and I will claim the destruction mage."

"Magica and Mr. Elite wanted Vincent as an ally as well," Scrooge remembered. "Why do you vicious villains keep harassing the poor boy?"

"I do not speak for Mr. Elite," Rosina answered. "But witches like Magica and I crave power. We will learn every incantation, collect every source of manna, and defy the bounds of chaos and order to achieve the ultimate goal of obtaining power."

"That's all I needed to hear," Scrooge sighed. "No point in hiding in the shadows Vincent. They have eyes on us."

"So what do we do?", Vincent wondered as the two of them stepped into the light.

"The plan is the same," Scrooge explained. "But hiding won't work. No need to worry, we've dealt with magic foes before."

"Right," Vincent nodded. "Stay together, the last thing we want is to be picked off..." Vincent looked around and didn't see Scrooge. He sighed as he remembered this was one of Rosina's tricks. She was already messing with their minds. He just needed to stay on the defense and not let her touch him."

Scrooge on the other hand was unfamiliar with Rosina's tricks. "Lad, where did you go Lad? Vincent?" Scrooge looked around the Dark Corridor for a moment and then realized they were already separated. "We stood a better chance fighting together, I hope you realized!" Scrooge turned his head to hear a little girl crying in the distance. He headed down the hallway towards the voice to see his little sister leaning against a bed balling her eyes out. She was age twelve at the moment. "Matilda?", Scrooge responded as he felt a lot younger all of a sudden and realized he was now sixteen. "Matilda, what's going on?"

"Why did he leave?", Matilda cried. "He abandoned his family!"

"No, no," Scrooge responded. "I didn't abandon anyone, I went off to start a life of my own." Scrooge reached for her, but then backed off as a hand grabbed him. He was older again and he turned to Vincent who looked like he was in a daze. "Vincent?" He turned back to see Matilda was gone.

"Scrooge, I don't know if you can hear me," Vincent groaned. "But you can't let her get inside your head." Of course as Vincent said this he could see Britt and Quinn headed down the corridor with Quinn's sword and Britt's knife drawn. The two of them charged at Vincent who started dodging their attacks. Vincent wanted to let the two illusion's slash him so the ruse would end, but Vincent's body was acting on instinct avoiding the blades of his enemies.

"Vincent what are you doing?", Scrooge wondered as he saw Vincent stepping away from him and moving in patterned similar to dodging. Vincent was either facing an invisible foe or an illusion that only he could see. "Wait Vincent," Scrooge called out as Vincent was moving towards the female duck in red robes. Scrooge charged to stop him, but was now floating in the air as green aura radiated around him. He saw a jackal girl and a hyena girl come out of the shadows who's eyes were glowing green as they held him in place.

"Too easy," the hyena girl laughed. The other cult members started appearing as they watched Vincent dodge his way towards Rosina.

"Got you," Rosina smiled as she placed a thumb print on Vincent's forehead.

Vincent stopped all of a sudden as his eyes turned from in a daze to completely lifeless.

"Vincent Tailfeather," Rosina called out. "When you awaken, you will become my slave of darkness and destruction!"

Vincent's eyes turned back to normal as he moved to a bowing position.

"Too easy," Rosina smiled.

"No Vincent," Scrooge called out. "Fight it, don't let her magic win!"

"Quiet you," the mongoose girl called out as she created a pink glowing clamp that wrapped around Scrooge's beak. "We should dispose of the elder."

"Excellent plan," Rosina smiled. "That's one less rival on the board to worry about."

Scrooge struggled against the magical binds as he tried to kick at the cult girls, but he was floating too far away to land a blow.

"It's futile," the jackal girl (Jackie) shook her head. "You need magic to break the binds of magic, but you are without that essential resource."

Scrooge rolled his eyes at that. All magical beings are the same, thinking because they can make people float they are somehow better then everyone else. Still, he wasn't out of the fight yet. He still had his wit, his strength, and... a crystal? Scrooge noticed slipped between his fingers was one of Vincent's glowing crystals. He remembered when Vincent had nudged him awake out of the witches spell. That must have been when Vincent handed him the crystal. Scrooge also noticed the crystal was glowing, meaning Vincent had activated it. It was a miracle the crystal hadn't exploded yet. Scrooge's eyes widened when he remembered that Vincent's crystal was set to explode and he chucked it away towards the witches that were gathering towards Rosina and Vincent.

"Hit the deck," the hyena girl(Hayley) called out as the cultists all dispersed in different directions.

A loud explosion soon followed as Scrooge flew back from the impact but was free from whatever spell they had on him.

"That does it you old billionaire," Rosina yelled. "Vincent destroy him!"

Scrooge looked up and saw Vincent in a zombie like state as he raised a few of his own crystals in the air.

"Yes mistress Rosina," Vincent responded.
