Tales of Amity Park's Graveyard

Chapter: Friday the 13th, a night at Lake Eerie

The soft winds brushed against the leaves making them rattled with an almost rhythmic move accompanied by the delicate fragrance coming from the nearby lake, though the silence was broken by the sounds of heavy wheels scaring off the local wildlife. A large yellow bus forced its way through the forest, the driver having difficulty reaching his destination. At the same time, the occupants were busy just trying to remain in their seats rather than enjoying the green scenery just outside the window, and the young crowd bounced on their hard seats, more than one nearly hitting their heads on the windows and bars.

"Remind me again why I'm here when it was YOU who wreaked the school's locker room?"- Tucker, a young colored boy asked while looking at his best friend.

"Don't look at me, take up to Lancer or Dash. They wanted a gofer for this damn trip and I was forced to volunteer."- Danny replied as discreetly as he could.

"And we shouldn't have been standing next to Danny when he was forced to volunteer."- Sam Manson, a young self-entitled vegetarian goth replied with a playful smirk on her face.

"Pass it over here!"- A teen dressed as the Grim Reaper yelled out before catching the ball with its bony hands before falling over Danny who looked at him with an annoyed expression. "I love a good game and the outdoors but I still prefer the ambiance of the city"- The creature added.

The bus was filled with jocks and cheerleaders along with a handful of valuable nerds that were forced to serve the athletes as they prepare for the state finals the following month, as part of their yearly tradition, the football was sent off to train at Camp Eerie something that bothered the vice-principal greatly though not due the brutal blow to the school's finances but because the training session had always been at an out of state beach resort. Unfortunately, recent and unexplained events ruined the school's yearly budget, no one knew why the kitchen was destroyed, and the explosion at the school lab could be explained by misuse of the chemicals but there was no nothing strong enough.

Nevertheless, the repair cost meant there would be no beach trip for the football team shortly, even so, mister Lancer managed to organize another trip to a much closer yet charming place named Camp Eerie, just a few hours away. It was by no means the same but served the same purpose with its open field and alluring cabins, the girls would even get to take a dip at the famous lake, though Lancer was most surprised that no one else had booked the camp for a similar event already, summer was already around the corner and such places were very sought after.

"Damn it Fenturd! We're not going to the beach because of him." A blonde-haired jock declared as he tossed an empty soda can to his head.

"Chill, dude. We still get to see the girls in their bikinis but more importantly, we're gonna kicked Dimmesdale's butt"- The reaper declared making all the jocks yell out in pride.

Sam rolled her eyes at the ridiculous display of stupidity taking place before her, she instead turned her attention towards the window and saw the camp coming closer, soon the bus crossed a wooden arc that held a sign reading "Welcome to Camp Lake Eerie." The jocks, cheerleaders, and nerds all looked with dread at the cabins as they climb down from the vehicle, their eyes set over the old and dusty place that left much to be desired, at least the main attraction and for what the camp had been named after was vast and beautiful, the lake had crystal water, though the bottom could not be seen.

"What a dump"- Paulina Sanchez, the cheerleader Captain, said.

"Don't be like that Miss Sanchez, nothing a little TLC can't fix."- the heavy teacher said as he recalled getting a good deal for renting out the whole camp for little more than twenty people.

"Nothing beats nature, I gotta go guys. Long day ahead."- the grim reaper said before walking into the forest.

Camp Eerie was a far cry from the luxury resort the team and above all the cheerleaders were expecting, but Lancer reminded everyone that they weren't on some vacation, they were at the lake to train for their upcoming games, something that many cheerleaders took a great dislike for as they had been convinced to follow the team under the promise of premium service at a luxury resort. It was then that a middle-aged couple emerged from the office, their appearance most fitting to their surroundings, the lady wore a red dress and a white apron that reminded of a kind grandmother while her husband, a balding man wore a pair of overalls and a black beanie more akin to a factory worker.

"Hello, we are Mister and Missus Box but you can call me Lunch Lady, everybody here does."- the old overweight woman said with a charming voice and a chuckle.

Danny suddenly felt a strange and most dreadful sensation overwhelming his being, the frosty breath that warned of any imminent ghost attack did not come and yet felt an ominous presence nearby, a pair of eyes looming over him, but no matter how hard he looked around there was no one nearby, a common problem with his enemies as most could become invisible. The teen wanted to investigate but he couldn't move away from the group without a reason or cause, the teen had run out of the classroom far too many times nearly getting him suspended, though was no stranger to detention.

Unbeknown to the group, though not completely by Danny was that a pair of sinister eyes watched over them from the woods, hidden amidst the leaves and bushes, his raspy breathing forcing its way through the hockey mask.

Danny collapsed on the hard bunk bed dead tired after a long day of cleaning the cabins, his head turned over to Sam who was already lying on the corner bunk bed most annoyed as she had not done any cleaning previous to this day, her maids typically took care of that. Tucker, on the other hand, had been complaining about the lack of internet connection all day long, having spent more time trying to get access to his socials than helping clean the cabins where the jocks and cheerleaders were staying at. Danny knew about the financial struggles the school was going and yet Lancer booked an entire camp for little more than twenty people which included the team, half a dozen cheerleaders, and five "helpers" that had the trio.

"Damn it. Can't believe Lancer gave Paulina and her shallow bitches their cabin and threw me with you four pricks."- Sam said looking at Danny and Tucker who turned their attention to another pair of boys. "I swear if any of you, knuckleheads try to put their hands on me while I sleep, I'll Taser your asses."- the goth added while showing her device.

"Relax, you're lacking a lot of meat to draw my attention."- Tucker said while making air cups with his hands over his chest. It wasn't normal to put four fourteen-year-old boys in the same cabin with a single girl but Lancer was more interested in making things as comfortable as possible for the football team so they concrete better.

Danny couldn't help but break out laughing as Sam beat their friend with a pillow while the other two unfortunate souls watched with bemused smiles from their corner of the cabin, the trio hardly knew the two boys beyond their names, Mikey and Nathan. The former was a small boy with an orange bowl haircut and buck teeth, and the latter was a taller yet much heavier teen with messy brown hair. However, Danny was sure that he had seen Nathan chasing after Valerie Grey on several occasions, often armed with a rose bouquet and a large chocolate box.

The sounds of an army bugle woke the five teens around six in the morning as their homeroom teacher marched in forcing the teens out of bed, none of the boys were used to waking up so early in the morning, though Sam was surprisingly an early bird as she was already up and heading to the communal bathroom outside the cabin. Ironically, the cheerleaders and jocks had private bathrooms with showers inside their cabins, an enormous luxury considering they are in the middle of the forest with no plumbing, or sewers for several miles, the only form of civilization being a small-town half a day walking.

"All right, I'll take the shower at the far end, Danny you take the one next to mine, then comes Tucker, Mikey, and Nathan." The goth instructed as she removed her untied combat boots. Before any of the boys could complain about the arraignment, Sam looked at them with a cold glare. "I trust Danny won't be sneaking a peak, I have my doubts about Tucker but I don't know you, Mikey, and Nathan… I know you were stalking Valerie…"- she added

Danny cracked a smile while Tucker raised his hands in playful defeat while marching into the showers divided by a simple half-wooden wall that allowed them to see each other's heads, the shower was not designed as a mixed bathroom. Nathan and Mikey looked down in defeat as they followed the instructions. The overweight teen's bad reputation had followed him to the camp, even worse, it had spread through Casper High School. He wasn't expecting Sam Manson to know about giving Valerie some extra attention, something that surely Paulina Sanchez must have heard by this point, it was both horrible and flattering that she knew about him.

It was soon after helping serve breakfast to the jocks and cheerleaders that Danny and company retreated to their cabin to change into more appropriate outdoor fashion, trading away the once white apron, though Danny was forced to take another shower as he had been targeted by a flying pudding, courtesy of Dash Baxter who never missed a single chance to bully him. The teen wanted nothing more than to crack his back for constantly messing with him. Perhaps a nightly ghost visit was in order, something that Sam would never approve of.

"Lord of the Flies! What are you wearing, Miss Manson?"- Mister Lancer yelled out as he looked at the young goth.

"What's wrong? Oh, these. They're called booty shorts. Don't they look good on me?"- Sam replied as she moved her butt side to side.

"Can you put something a little longer, it's running up your…"- Lancer trailed off as he looked away from his underage student, even covering his eyes. "You know what, I'm too busy for this nonsense, we only got two weeks to prepare the team for the finals."- the teacher continued.

"Don't you think Sam is a little aggressive?"- Danny asked unable to peel his eyes off his best friend.

"You know how she loves being unique and different. Hard to believe she volunteer for this shit."- Tucker replied as he too stared at their only female friend.

"If I could I would ditch this place in a heartbeat."- Danny said, he then had a horrible goosebump that made him shiver catching Tucker and Sam's attention as she came closer.

"Is it a ghost?"- Sam inquired, almost excited. Danny wasn't sure what he felt, it wasn't a ghost but felt great danger, like a primordial warning.

Unbeknown to the trio, a sinister figure watched from afar, hidden among the bushes as Danny and his friends turned their heads around before slowly returning to the camp, searching for what startled the boy.

It was later that night that all the campers gathered around the bonfire to enjoy a relaxing night, the football team had spent all day jogging around the forest and practicing their plays in whatever open space they could find while the cheerleaders enjoyed their day at the lake, swimming and fooling around much to Danny and Tucker's delight, on the contrary, Sam truly loathed this as she and her friends were forced to help clean the camp and cook meals alongside Lunch Lady and her husband, what truly set her off was seeing meat being cooked.

"And then… she found it out… her jeans were last season!"- All the cheerleaders screamed in unison as Paulina told her "Scary" story which made Sam roll her eyes in utter frustration.

"Did you know this place wasn't called Camp Lake Eerie?"- Sam suddenly interjected once all the silly screaming stopped. "It was originally called, Camp Crystal Lake."- she continued.

"What's so scary about that?"- Paulina taunted.

"Back in the eighties, a boy drowned in that lake because the counselors were too busy mating like rabbits, it drove his mother insane, who came back years later to kill everyone she found at the camp, none of which had anything to do with her son's death."- Sam continued catching everyone's attention.

As the goth told the tragic tale of the camp, one of blood, betrayal, and revenge that not even Mister Lancer was aware of and would surely inquire about later on was that Mikey and Nathan snuck away toward the cheerleader's cabin with the noble purpose of stealing their panties, a disgusting endeavor without a doubt. To avoid detection, the two boys made their way into the woods, an unnecessary act considering everyone was at the bonfire, at least as far they knew, there was the off chance of one or strugglers roaming around and sounding off the alarm. Both teens had already conjured up a series of lies to explain the absence but if they were caught inside the girl's cabin, there was no way for them to talk their way out.

Mikey let out a soft "Oh shit" escape from his lips as he had trip allowing his prized camera to fall a small hill, the small teen turned pale as he saw the device vanish into the bushes, and without a doubt in his mind followed after it much to Nathan's dislike who wanted carry on with their mission but understood the need to recover the camera considering its value, more so, now that it contains footage of the cheerleaders in their bikinis and of them showering, once they collected Paulina's underwear they would be hailed as heroes among the chess club members.

"Found it!"- Mikey declared as he turned around.

A cold shiver ran up his spine upon seeing a tall dark figure standing behind Nathan, too tall to be Mister Lancer or any of the counselors. Mikey wanted to scream but had suddenly become voiceless, terror filled his heart as he looked at a long blade rising behind his friend who remained unaware of the grave danger, and yet could tell something was wrong forcing him to turn around before he could utter a single word the machete came down slicing his head with a single swift movement. The orange-haired boy watched dumbfounded as Nathan's head rolled down the hill making him fall to the ground.

His eyes looked upon the beastly man as he approached him, walking ever so calmly, terror began filling his entire being. The teen knew he had to run away as fast as he could but his legs couldn't lift him from the ground much less didn't obey his desperate commands to run, his body was starting to shake, and tears rolled down Mikey's eyes as he turned around, and tried to crawl to safety, it would be meaningless as the manic was standing next to him, Nathan's blood dripping from the rusted blade. Before the teen could take a single step forward was impaled and lifted off the ground. Mikey then began vomiting blood as life ebbs, soon the boy was motionless until he slowly started to slide down the blade.

"Have you ever wondered if Mikey could be your long-lost brother?"-Tucker asked with a bemused smile only to get a glare from the already frustrated Sam Manson. "I mean your mom has orange hair and other than Mikey I can't think of anyone else with that same hair color."- The teen continued, though was jabbed in the ribs moments later.

"Putting that aside, did all that happen here? All those killings? And the murderer never got caught?" – Danny inquired.

"Yeah, but that was some forty years ago."- Sam replied as they headed back to their cabin.

(XXXX)

The following evening things improve greatly for Danny and Tucker who gawked at the cheerleaders as they once more made good use of the lake despite knowing a child their age had drowned there, more surprising was to find out that not even Lunch Lady and her husband knew about the camp's dark past claiming they hadn't even been born yet when it all took place. It made Sam feel as if she was talking about ancient history, so many people were brutally murdered, and yet hardly anyone knew about it, even though it had been both in the local and national news.

"So, following up with last night, let's explore this place."- Sam commanded as he put her hands over her boys' shoulders.

None of the boys wanted to leave the lake but also knew better than to argue with Sam, it was now clear that she had ulterior motives to be at the lake, the girl didn't follow her friends to the camp due to some sense of loyalty and friendship but because she wanted to "tour" a crime scene, albite, an old one. The goth then produced a tablet which, on closer inspection, was full of all manner of crime scene photos, not the kind one can find online, Danny didn't want to ask how or why she had such images, his eyes soon became focused on the booty shorts his friend was sporting and made Mister Lancer most angry.

Danny couldn't understand what Sam found so intriguing about a door frame and common living room, but the girl eagerly explained how a man had hanged in front of the door after being brutally stabbed, and several camp counselors were viciously killed in the living room, the girl then marched to the upper bedroom where she showed her friends a picture of a young naked couple in bed, a long spear-like weapon going through both of them. The trio then stood in front of the outdoor stairs where a man in a wheelchair had killed, a machete to face before being sent down according to the police report Sam read out loud.

Sam was behaving as if she was touring Disneyland by the way she jumped around and explained the crime scenes, though many of the places she took her boys to had been drastically changed throughout the passing of the years, the tree where a man had been strangled was long gone and the boathouse where another met his end at the tip of a harpoon had collapsed due to a lack of maintenance. Danny sighed as he demanded to head into the forest to try and find the final resting place of several more victims, an impossible task considering the four decades that had gone by.

"At this point, the only reason I'm following her is because of those booty shorts."- Danny retorted as Sam examined the woods around her.

"She always wore a short skirt but this gotta be the first time she's showing us so much skin."- Tucker added, his eyes glued over Sam's butt.

"You know I could take you to the ghost Zone if you wanted to tour a scary place."- Danny said while leaning against a tree.

"I know, and we're going this summer, but these murders are legendary. Jason Voorhees was said to have killed between 160 and 200 people, some reports say it could have been more, and he was never caught." Sam said with mysticism in her voice. "According to legend, this serial killer had some sort of demonic power that prevented him from being killed, some of his surviving victims claimed to have killed him but he always came back."- the goth continued.

"You don't think he's from the Ghost Zone."- Danny inquired but Sam shook her head.

"All I know is that he just vanished thirty years ago."- the girl added. "We're the first one here in three decades"- She continued.

Not a second after arriving back at the camp, Lancer intercepted the trio demanding to know if Nathan or Mikey were with them or knew about their whereabouts, only then did the trio realize to had not seen either of the boys nor recalled seeing them return to the cabin or during breakfast, Sam was just too distracting. The teacher told them no one had seen them since last night and feared they might have gotten lost in the woods or worse yet, been attacked by a bear or a pack of wolves. Sam looked down at her tablet and wondered if Jason had returned, it was impossible unless there was something paranormal taking place as was often the case.

Lancer was starting to lose his mind as night fell at the camp, he organized a small search party with Mister Box while Missus Box headed to town, there was the possibility the two boys had simply run back to town for a burger miscalculating the time it would take to come back, something foolish considering they were a couple of hours away from civilization. The last thing Lancer wanted was to call the authorities for no reason and ruin the training trip. Danny looked out the window and noticed a party taking place inside the jock's cabin, either they didn't know about the two missing kids or simply didn't care.

(XXXX)

"I can't just sit around and do nothing… going ghost!"- Danny suddenly declared as two bright rings appeared around his hips transforming him into the mighty Danny Phantom. "If Lancer asks, tell him I'm at the bathroom or something."- the teen added before flying out.

The woods were pitched black despite it not even being seven o'clock, a powerful beam of light that came from a Fenton flashlight broke the dark shining over trees that gave out a menacing aura followed by thick bushes that seemed ready to spurn to life. Even though Danny had ghost magic at his disposal and the ability to fly, came to discover that he had no tracking ability he was already lost, though it didn't worry him in the least as he could easily fly to the sky and find the camp. It was then that he realized to had started his search from a random position, Danny didn't know where Nathan and Mikey were last seen nor where Lancer had already searched.

Danny returned to his human form and sat down on a log wondering about his next course of action, he had been too hasty like always, acting without a plan. For all he knew the two boys could be on the other side of the forest or back at the camp. An unexpected and excruciating pain overwhelmed his entire body in a matter of seconds, the teen slowly looked down and saw a long bloody blade coming out from his chest, blood gushed out from the wound like an open faucet. Danny remained seated as he tried to stop the bleeding, but just touching the blade sent jolts of horrible pain, his eyes then set over a pair of worn-out boots.

Even though it was dark, Danny could tell who was standing in front of him thanks to Sam's detailed explanation, the filthy hockey mask, worn-out overalls, deformed head, and imposing figure, there was no doubt he was looking at the insane serial killer who claimed the lives of nearly two hundred people, the legendary Jason Voorhees. Danny knew he had to act, to fight but the surprise attack left him dazed and confused, Jason without uttering a single word grabbed the boy's head and twisted it around without any effort at all. The devil in human form walked away leaving the lifeless boy on the ground.

"Nathan! Mikey!"- A voice in the distance drew Jason's attention.

Jason knew the woods like the back of his hand, allowing him to quickly find the source of the yelling further into the forest near the hiking trail, two middle-aged men with flashlights were calling for the missing boys, the vice-principal was already at the end of his rope, the only option left was to call for the authorities and have them search. Jason's killer instincts rise in an instant upon seeing the two men, and with machete in hand marches forward, Mister Lancer turns around just in time to see the maniac hack off Mister Box's head with a single move leaving the teacher in complete shock as the now headless man walked several paces before falling to the ground, blood wetting the earth.

Even Lancer was surprised to see how fast he could run with the right motivation, but it was as if the killer could appear and disappear at will, Jason was always close behind forcing the overweight teacher to constantly move around. Despite the adrenaline pumping through his veins felt his energy run low, both legs and back were burning, and breathing became harder. The man hid inside a bush hopeful the maniac would walk past him, there was nothing but silence all around making Lancer let out a sigh of relief as he assumed to have lost whoever the killer was, it was then that he recalled Sam's story about the Crystal Lake slasher.

"Better get back and call the cops."- Lancer whispered as he carefully poked his head out making sure there was no unwanted guest nearby.

The heat emanating from his body piled up within his shirt and only sweat seemed to calm down, unfortunately, fear was ever present as his knees and jaw shook ever so violently. Never before had the teacher seen a man get killed, he had seen many decapitations in movies but none could compare to the real thing, the blood, inner tubes, and fat though seen for less than a second was an image that would haunt him for the rest of his life, one that was about to end as he turned around and saw Jason towering over him, the man couldn't scream as the brute plunged his powerful hand into his belly and pulled out his guts.

(XXXX)

"Long pass, dude!"- Dash Baxter, the team's quarterback yelled out as he ran backward ready to toss the ball.

The jocks and cheerleaders were making the most of Lancer's absence by having an impromptu party, many talked about running to town to buy beer but the sheer distance and the lack of a vehicle made it impossible, as always, Dash came in as a hero by producing a whisky flask from his sports bag, the small flask was hardly enough to get anyone tipsy, barely enough for all eleven team players and half a dozen cheerleaders to get a swig, nevertheless, it was enough to encourage them to get a little more handy on one another. Baxter then rubbed Paulina's large ass as they dance soon to be cheered on by the rest of the team through wolf whistles and clapping.

"Hey Star, why don't we go upstairs… and you know… get to know each other."- A tall muscular Asian jock named Kwan proposed to his girlfriend, Star, a blonde cheerleader who eagerly accepted, acting more on the placebo effect of having drunk whisky than being drunk.

"I always wanted to go skinny dipping."- Paulina said as she walked toward the door while yanking off her shirt. "Anyone coming?"- she added.

It was then that a "Hell yeah" resounded within the cabin, Star giggled as she saw her best friend along with the team and cheerleader running out while stripping. Something almost impossible to justify if their couch caught them, but hormones were ramping. Kwan wanted to follow but he had been begging his girlfriend for some intimate time, even with his very low intellectual coefficient, there was no way the jock was missing out on this action considering his girlfriend had always said no. For once the condoms he kept in his wallet were going to be used as they were intended and not as a lucky charm

Two jocks had stayed back upon hearing the couple's plans to have some adult-rated fun in the upper bedroom, a rather difficult decision considering they could either watch a couple have sex or follow the naked girls to the lake, they were more than sure their teammate wouldn't last more than a few minutes allowing them to ogled at Star and the other girls at the lake. One of the teens even assured his peers that they might even luck themselves and have their own private time, the two waited a few minutes in utter silence allowing the couple to get in the mood.

"Go get your camera."- the football player commanded as he crawled his way up the stairs.

The jock playfully snuck to his bedroom and rummaged through his backpack; a large smile grew across his face upon seeing the camera. Brand new with all manner of functions, chief among these was the night vision mode, perfect for this night. His smile died down upon seeing his reflection in the mirror, a tall and menacing man stood behind him covered in blood holding a long blade. The teen let out a sigh as he turned around with a mocking grin, a psycho killer just had appeared a day after the goth freak told them about the camp's dark and bloody history, he then looked Jason up and down evaluating his costume, it surely looked real but they were in the backcountry so any old farmer suit could, the hockey mask was a nice touch.

"Did that goth loser put you up to this? Ooh, I'm so scared."- the player mocked.

His smile didn't vanish not even as Jason raised his blade overhead, but his mocking expression quickly changed to one of utter and indescribable horror once the brute brought his blade down with brutal force going halfway through the teen's torso. The camera fell on the ground followed by the lifeless jock who splatter the floor with his blood and guts, all manner of bodily fluids poured out in a matter of seconds. Jason watched with an unblinking expression as the boy twitched on the floor, The devil then turned away as if he had just stepped on a cockroach.

Jason had no hurry to dispose of the intruders and slowly made his way up the stairs where he spotted the second teen kneeling by an open door, soft moaning emanating from within the room. Even as silent as the killer was, the boy heard the floorboard squeak forcing him to hush who he assumed was his friend while putting his hand out, demanding the camera. Rather than getting the device, he was stabbed a single time in the head, his entire body paralyzed while looking at the blade between his eyes, blood ran down from the wound as his eyes rolled upward.

Neither Kwan nor Star noticed Jason walking into the bedroom, they were too busy with their carnal desires to notice anything beyond themselves. Nevertheless, the blonde cheerleader opened her eyes once the killer was standing next to the creaking bed, she barely had the chance to yell before being savagely stabbed, the machete easily went through the couple and the mattress. Kwan arched his back as he felt the horrible pain of having his spine snapped, Star started to vomit blood, and within a few seconds passed away.

(XXXX)

It was under the pale moonlight that Danny's lifeless body began to twitch, the boy rose from the ground, his head completely turned around and looking in the opposite direction it should be. A large green with a red stain on his favorite shirt, and the sounds of bones cracking resounded within the woods as the teen's head returned to its original position, Danny felt a little dizzy as got on his feet, everything was moving, and standing straight was most difficult. As soon as everything stopped moving around was that Danny checked his neck, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, the fatal cut in his belly was gone, and not even a scar was left behind.

Danny had been in many fights ever since he got his ghost powers, he had been punched, kicked, blasted, cut, electrocuted, and tossed around like a rag doll but never actually hurt to the point of breaking skin or bleeding for that matter, there was hardly a bruise after each fight, not even Skulker with his many guns and blades had reached that point none of his enemies with all their claims of wanting to kill him had even come remotely close to what Jason achieved. Having his neck broken and fatally stabbed had to be a first, the pain was like nothing he ever felt before.

"What did you know? I can regenerate."- Danny groaned as he went ghost. "Can't believe that Jason guy is real."- the teen added as he picked flight.

The camp seemed to be in normal conditions as he flew closer, there was music coming from the lake but other than that, it was completely silent, he couldn't see anyone roaming around. It was then that he noticed a person lying on the ground near the jock's cabin, one of the cheerleaders, despite the precarious situation, Danny couldn't stop himself from blushing as he saw the naked girl lying on her belly, unfortunately, nothing was arousing due to the large slash on her back that nearly split the girl in half. The ghost boy then floated inside the cabin trying his best not to draw too much attention, having his neck broken was already bad enough.

A second slain teen could be seen inside one of the bedrooms, the stench of death already permeating the overly silent cabin. Danny flew to the upper floor where he saw Kwan and his girlfriend on the bed, both unmoving and blood all over the place. The ghost boy had never seen so much blood in his entire life, not even in movies, though their bodies were far from decomposing, they already emanated a foul odor that made Danny most uneasy. The unmistakable sounds of a Fenton energy blaster reached his ears forcing the teen to look out the window in search of the source.

A green energy beam could be seen on the other side of the lake, there was no doubt it had to be Sam or Tucker if not both who were fighting against Jason. The teen knew that Sam kept a blaster with her at all times, there were times that he even thought Sam was more interested in hunting ghosts than himself. Rather than rushing blind towards the gunfire, he kept an open eye in case some people needed rescue. Upon reaching the lake came to a holt as he saw more bodies in the same conditions as the cheerleader, two boys and one girl, each one missing body parts, even though Danny had seen hundreds of horror movies, none came close to reality, especially when it came to the poor lad who had his head crushed in, it was hard to explain the pink inners and lifeless expression.

More gunfire snapped Danny from his trance, he flew across the lake where he spotted another jock floating in the water, several harpoons protruding from his back. Screaming drew his attention to the cabins, a frown came upon his face upon realizing that he was going in the wrong direction, he was following the energy rays. The ghost boy hurried towards the camp, but his horror didn't end as he saw more of his schoolmates resting over small boats, Danny saw one girl inside the boat, her legs poking out and showing him far more than she would have in life, it was hard to tell who she was due to the lack of a head. A jock was kneeling further ahead but was missing his entire face, Danny didn't feel the urge to find it.

"Danny!"- A female voice called out to him from within the cabin.

"Sam! Tucker! Thank goodness you're wearing clothes."- Danny declared as he embraced both teens.

"Don't you mean thank goodness we're alive?"- Tucker sneered as Danny smiled back.

"You not gonna believe this, but."- Sam was cut short by Danny.

"Jason Voorhees, I know, had a close encounter of the third kind."- the ghost boy interrupted not sure if he should tell his friends about having been stabbed and having his neck broken. "Was there an orgy taking place and nobody invited me?"- Danny asked recalling all the nude teens.

"Don't know, Tucker and I were here… chilling when all hell broke loose. We heard screaming and when we came out saw a bunch of dead teens, I think a few of them went to the woods but most were caught with their pants down."- Sam continued.

"We tried capping his ass but was too far away."- Tucker added.

A horrified scream coming from outside drew the trio's attention who didn't waste any time and marched out, both Sam and Tucker armed with Fenton blasters while Danny flew out ready to blow Jason away. It didn't take too long for the teens to determine the origin of the screaming, the boathouse just near the tree line, as they came closer also realized the voice belonged to none other than Paulina Sanchez which made Danny both hopeful to see the school's sweetheart in her birthday suit and be her hero once more, the idea of arriving as Danny Fenton crossed his mind but chose to stay on the safer side of things.

Tucker suddenly stopped death in his tracks upon seeing the lifeless body of a redhead cheerleader hanging from a nearby tree, a tight rope around her neck, Tucker had asked her out many times only to be either ignored or insulted. A second jock could be seen further ahead, his guts spilling out which made the teen throw up, Sam was visibly disturbed by the sight despite having seen zombies and other horrible abominations lurking around town. All three at one point or another had been chased and attacked by all manner of despicable and horrible creatures, Sam had been chased by a werewolf, and Tucker was once cornered by a giant glowing snake.

Nevertheless, it was the first time the trio had seen a dead human, the guts, the blood, and the smell were things none of them were used to seeing, even so, they weren't exactly afraid thanks to all their previous encounters with the paranormal, according to Sam, Jason was just another zombie, a smart one at that but just a zombie. Danny turned invisible and flew inside the boathouse, it was large and filled with all manner of maritime equipment. It took all of ten seconds to find Paulina Sanchez shaking by the corner, just behind a couple of crates that she placed as a barrier to prevent the brute from reaching her. Jason was nowhere to be seen.

(XXXX)

"Inviso-Bill! I knew you'd come to save me."- Paulina yelled as soon as Danny became visible again.

"I need to get a publicist"- Danny thought as the Latina hugged him tightly.

The ghost boy fought against his instincts and refused to touch Paulina's bare skin even with his gloved hands knowing all too well that they might wonder a little south for their liking, it was then that Sam cleared her throat loudly forcing the couple to break the hug, only then was that modesty kicked making Paulina cover herself with her hands while squatting down completely embarrassed, both boys found it physically impossible to take their eyes off of her which made Sam rolled her eyes, she then tossed a raincoat over the Latina that she saw hanging on the wall.

"Did you see Star? Is she ok?"- Paulina asked genuinely afraid for her friend. Her heart broke as she saw Danny moving his head sideways. "This is your fault, if you hadn't told us that story, he would have never come here!"- the cheerleader accused Sam while pointing a finger at her.

"Me!? Don't put this on me you shallow tramp, I didn't invoke him or anything"- Sam retorted. "If you wanna blame someone, then blame Lancer, he brought us here and should have known about the killer."- Sam continued.

"That's enough, ladies. Where's Dash?"- Tucker interjected.

"That yellow back, son of a bitch, ditched us. He shoved me toward that hockey mask-wearing freak."- Paulina spat venom. "We are so over."- she added.

"Maybe I can ask you out on a date… if I get you out."- Tucker smiled trying his luck.

"If you can get me out of here and in one piece, I might consider it."- Paulina replied throwing Tucker a cold glare. "But if you can get me out of here, Inviso-bill, I can show you how grateful I can be."- Paulina purred her words as she unbuttoned the top button of the raincoat and brushed her finger over Danny's chest making him blush. Sam on the other hand was grinding her teeth.

"Here's the plan, guys. I'll deal with this Jason guy while you guys head back to the cabin and find the bus keys, get to town, and bring back the cops."- Danny instructed, getting Paulina and any other survivor to safety was the best course of action.

Moments later, Sam slammed the door open and pointed her energy pistol on both sides before stepping outside, the last thing she wanted was to get hacked to death in the most obvious manner, she loathed how the female actress in horror movies would just run out the door screaming like a mindless bimbo only get stabbed as soon as she put a foot across the door. With the coast clear of any machete-wielding maniac, all four teens rushed to Lancer's cabin, almost on the other side of the camp, it was as if the teacher didn't want to be near any of the jocks' shenanigans, Paulina couldn't stop herself from crying as she saw the bloody remains of her friends. Most only followed Paulina due to her position as queen bee in Casper High but at least they pretended to be scared of her sill ghost stories.

The cheerleader smiled long and wide as she saw both the school bus and the counselor's car, all they needed was the keys and she was home free. A girlish shriek came out from the cabin filling all four with terrible dread, but Danny knew there was only one murdering maniac on the loose, therefore rushed into the cabin and saw Jason standing in front of Dash Baxter who was pressed against the corner, his pants drenched in urine, the other three teens followed in after a few short seconds. Just before Danny could engage against Jason saw the quarterback start convulsing, foam came out from his mouth, and moments later fell to the ground.

Without wasting any time, Danny unleashed an array of small energy beams toward the undead monster, bright sparks blasted into the air as Jason was pushed back, not a sound coming from him. The ghost boy then collected energy between his hands and blew the undead out through the window making Paulina skip while clapping her hands in utter joy, as always, her hero came through with flying colors, the same couldn't be said about Dash Baxter who remained on the floor, unmoving. He was brave and daring against smaller teens that couldn't defend themselves but in sight of someone much bigger, he was nothing but a big coward.

"Get up, you, big pussy."- Paulina said as she kicked her ex-boyfriend in the side. Sam was the first to notice something was wrong.

"Jason's not out there, guys, be careful."- Danny said after peeking out the window.

"Holy shit! Dash is dead!"- Sam declared.

Danny had to be the most shocked of all, he never expected his bully who tormented him since entering high school to have died from a heart attack, the sheer sight of Jason and his bloody machete had to have been too much for him, so great was his fear that it led the jock to an early grave. The teen recalled how Dash never bullied anyone bigger or stronger than him. Seeing him in such a miserable state was both sad and hilarious, though Tucker grinned as he understood the irony of the situation, the big bad bully was scared to death by someone much bigger than him.

Paulina turned pale as she realized Sam was right, but quickly shook it off as she started to rant about needing to find the car keys and leaving the camp at once, she couldn't take it anymore, the blood, the guts, and all the death taking place around was just too much for her to bear. The boys looked around the messy floor while Paulina walked inside the first open room she saw, the bed was a mess though was sure none of her peers had been inside, but a cheerful chuckle came out from the Latina's luscious lips upon spotting the keys resting on a nightstand which she shook in front of Sam in a teasing manner.

"Let's get the hell out of here."- Paulina commanded as she opened the door.

Her eyes opened wide as she stood in front of Jason who incrusted a new accessory to her beautiful face, a sharp axe just between the eyes. Everyone saw with utter horror as Paulina turned around trying to get away while still having some degree of control, her hand stretched out towards Danny while trying to mouth words but the cheerleader then fell to the ground with a loud thud. Danny roared with fury as he flew directly to Jason whom he grabbed and flew away while punching hard. Sam and Tucker looked at Paulina, it happened so fast that they still couldn't believe she was dead.

"See! That's why you have to look both ways before going through any door, this is textbook horror stuff."- Sam said breaking the silence.

Tucker saw with repugnance as Sam casually collected the keys from the dead girl, it made him wonder that perhaps all those months of ghost hunting and seeing the undead along with all manner of monstrosities had desensitized them, they were surrounded by horribly mutilated bodies and yet were hardly fazed by them. Tucker was afraid of Jason, this is true, but not to the same degree as the jocks or cheerleaders who screamed their lungs out while running like headless chickens, he was more afraid of an Ectopuss or a giant cobra than of Jason's machete. The same could be said of Sam who treated the attack as if it were just any other ghost-related incident.

"I'll get the bus started!"- Tucker yelled out more.

Jason groaned loudly as he struck a tree, his only good eye looked upon the flying little white-haired devil floating towards him filled with righteous fury, the undead managed to move in the nick of time as Danny sent another energy ray his way that blew part of the tree, tiny splinters heading in all directions. The ghost boy growled as Jason pulled one of his many disappearing acts, he was nowhere to be seen, and unlike regular ghosts, Danny couldn't hunt him down through his ghost sense making it near impossible to find him. Everything was in complete silence saved for the random yelling coming from his friends as they tried to get the bus started.

A sharp pain overtook him almost out of nowhere, it was the third time that Jason got the drop on Danny, this time by slicing the side of his neck with a single and most powerful cut that nearly decapitated the boy. The undead saw the ghost boy fall to the ground, green goo flowing from the gash, his attention was then drawn to the bus and its occupants who did their utmost to alert any survivor. Just as Jason took a step forward heard the sounds of leave breaking which forced him to turn around, Danny got back on his feet with his head hanging on the side.

"I guess that makes sense… I was already dead, to begin with."- Danny said as he put his head back in place, bones cracking as they rearranged. "Or is it half dead?"- he inquired.

Jason then stabbed the boy in the belly making sure to go all the way through, Danny opened his eyes wide as he coughed blood that spilled on the maniac's mask, even if he had powerful regenerating abilities, it did little to stop the pain. It was then that the ghost boy vanished taking the killer by surprise, a powerful energy ray came flying from the side hitting the masked murderer on the side and sending him flying away. Danny walked out of the bushes rubbing his belly, just where he was stabbed, the wound was already closed but the pain still lingered.

His glowing green eyes move around searching for the legendary killer who continues with his disappearing act, the leaves slowly dancing thanks to the wind. Danny stepped sideways as he felt the killer's presence, his machete narrowly missing Danny who countered using an energy ray to send the undead back into the woods. The stench of burned rotting flesh made the ghost hybrid wiggle his nose in disgust, hardly a distraction from the pain he was feeling both in his neck and belly. Most of his enemies resorted to energy weapons that left him slightly burned despite their brutality.

A smirk grew across Danny's lips as he saw Jason's heavy breathing, it was clear that he was furious, even if he didn't show it, the teen was sure that Jason had never fought against a real ghost or anyone willing to fight back, as was typical of serial killers, they only ever attack people they know won't defend themselves. Danny raises his hand to gather more ecto-energy, the blast destroyed an entire parcel of bushes and burned a nearby tree, though thankfully, didn't start a fire. Sam would have never let him live it down, it was then that noticed his target was missing, there was no way he missed at such a short distance, but he did. Almost as if coming from out of thin air, Jason grabbed Danny by the hair and placed his machete directly to his neck.

"Scary"- Danny mocked before vanishing leaving Jason dumbfounded as he looked around. "Over here!"- Danny yelled as he punched the undead in the belly.

Jason swung his blade around with no avail, but each time was struck with bone-breaking punches that would have sent any man to an early grave. Danny taunted him directly on one ear only to strike him from the opposite side keeping the killer guessing, a sinister chuckled to the left and was hit with an energy ray on the right, a heel kick to the stomach sent the undead flying backward. Danny was more than sure that kick would have broken a brick wall, and yet the killer stood up forcing Danny to unleash an array of energy bolts that shoved him back. It wasn't the first time that Jason had been under such brutal siege, though it was the first time that he was attacked with energy rays.

Overconfidence allowed Danny to miss out on a flying machete that came directly to him, the blade went right into his mouth. Blood and green goo flowed out from the deadly wound as the boy fell to his knees while pulling the blade out, just as he did, felt Jason's powerful hands grabbing his neck and snapping it without a moment's doubt. The undead man stomped on Danny's back for good measure breaking his spine, it was then that he once more turned around and walked away after picking up the machete heading back to the camp to get rid of the survivors. A soft grunt stopped the killer in his tracks, Danny was once more back on his feet, his broken spine cracking back into position while the slit in the back of his closed without leaving so much as a scar.

"Do you have any idea of how much that fucking hurts?"- Danny asked venom in his voice.

Both Sam and Tucker saw a smoking figure fly across the sky that impacted that soon the ground making a small plum of dust, just a few seconds later, another much smaller figure flew towards the first one. The two teens were startled by the sudden appearance of two jocks carrying a cheerleader who was missing an arm, the wound bandage with a shirt, this forced Sam to start the bus and continue honking the horn alerting any more survivors. The cheerleader's companions were seemingly unharmed which bothered Sam but said nothing as all made quick calculations and realized they were most likely the only survivors left.

"Drive, bitch, she won't last long!"- one of the jocks demanded.

"We're leaving, Danny, we got a wounded girl, I doubt there's anyone left."- Sam said through the Fenton intercom earrings.

"Where the hell did you learn to drive?"- Tucker asked.

"It's something I picked up along the way… how do you think I got all those veggie lovers to the menu change rally."- Sam teased.

Danny floated high away from Jason's grasp as he watched the bus driving away with the few survivors, he wanted to ask how was it possible for one person to have murdered so many people without creating chaos until the last minute, the football team may be filled with braindead jocks but they were eleven tall and muscular teens. Surely, not all of them were cowards like Dash, Danny was sure that Jason had picked them off one at a time. The ghost boy suddenly felt a sharp on his lower side, a long spear had gone through his ribcage, blood once more dripping down from the new wound.

"Motherfucker! Where did you even pull that shit from?!"- Danny yelled out as he glared at Jason.

The teen became intangible for a few seconds allowing the spear to fall, the wound slowly closing. Danny was more than grateful to have discovered this new ability but wished for a less painful reveal, with a cold glare bombed Jason with a series of ecto-rays that knocked him to the ground over and over, the undead tried to walk away only to be struck once more in the back. Danny was far from the machete's reach which allowed him to constantly attack the fiend, the teen stopped his onslaught as he saw Jason falling to his knees, breathing heavily and smoke emanating. The ghost boy then picked up the blade off the ground and used the tip to peel off the mask.

"Well, that's a face only a mother would love."- Danny added before incrusting the blade into the killer's face just between the eyes.

It was then that he pulled his Fenton thermos and shone its light over the undead trying to pull the undead inside but failing to do so, the creature remained in his spot unmoving which took Danny by surprise, he was sure to be dealing with a paranormal creature, a monster. Danny then noticed where the spear had come from, a nearby fishing boat that also held a few chains, the teen didn't bother asking why such items were there to begin with but made good use of them. Jason groaned and wiggled as he was flown by Danny to the middle of the lake after being left like a homemade pincushion, chains not only tying him down but going through his chest, all linked to a large stone.

Blue and red lights broke the darkness as police patrol cars arrived at the campsite, their shock was great as they saw the mutilated bodies of Casper High School students spread all over the site. Reminding the older officers of massacres that took place many years ago, the name Jason Voorhees was spoken in whispers, but none dared to say it out loud out of fear of bringing him back, more bodies were slowly uncovered as they policemen spread out searching for the maniac, hopeful it was just another deranged copycat and not the real monster of crystal lake.

Sam tried to rush to Danny's side as he was being taken in a stretcher after being found hidden inside a closet but was stopped by a police officer and was told she could speak to him in the hospital, there were no visible wounds on the teen but was fatigued, the officers assumed he had been running for his life. Mrs. Box was crying her eyes out upon hearing about her husband's death. Losing Lancer was a great blow to the school but so was missing the state finals.

The end.
