Note: Now that I'm out of campus for the summer, I'm able to update stories and focus on other stuff, like my art. I even posted two pictures in the same week on the first week of May alone. Perhaps I should do art for this story sometime, or at least commission someone to. Does anyone think I should do either? I'll even be happy if someone draws a picture of a scene from the story. I can't buy anything on my iPhone, though.

With that out of the way, it's time for chapter five.

Chapter 5: Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting

The weekend: the time of the week that the Belchers looked forward to. By that time, the family would be able to do whatever he wanted. Bob would look forward to serving those who came to the restaurant, especially since he wanted to serve the Burger of the Day. Linda hoped to spend time with her kids, mainly because she wanted to love them more than any mother would her children. Tina liked to keep to herself on the weekends, but she would be willing to hang out with her friends and her siblings. Gene would do whatever came to his mind, usually having fun in any way that he could. Louise would mess around or get up to some shenanigans around the neighborhood.

After a few minutes of cooking at his flattop grill, Bob got the burgers ready to be put on a bun. When it came to the toppings, it depended on the burger that he would be serving. If it was a regular cheeseburger, he would just put the normal ingredients on. As for the Burger of the Day, there would be a slew of various ingredients for it. While there would be the occasional special ingredient, such as bacon or hot peppers, Bob would use ingredients no one would think to use on a cheeseburger. This would include collard greens, lemon juice, and foreign cheeses such as brie.

"So, kids, what are you doing today?" Bob asked.

"Just hangin' out around here, I guess." Louise said.

"I might call someone later," Tina spoke, "see if they want to hang out."

"For now, I'm working." Gene said. "But, I will be practicing on my keyboard come sundown."

"Aw," Linda gushed, "my busy babies!"

"That's exactly what we are, Mom." Louise said.

"We're working for the weekend, like Loverboy!" Gene said.

Putting several burgers together, Bob put them to the side for the time being. He walked out, deciding to check if anyone was coming in today. Usually, Teddy, a regular at the restaurant, would be sitting at the bar, ready to eat. Occasionally, Mort, the mortician who worked next door, would also come in for a burger and fries. Apart from them, only a few customers came in per day. It didn't help business, but the Belchers appreciated them for coming in, as their money helped the family pay the bills and buy groceries. Bob only hoped that there would be something to help improve business substantially, like more employees.

Upon seeing someone at the door, Bob knew that business was about to begin. However, it wasn't Teddy or Mort standing behind the entrance. It wasn't even Mr. Fishoeder, the Belcher family's landlord. Rather, it was one of the new tutors who were helping teach at Wagstaff. The tutor happened to be the one who was helping out in the music room, lending Ms. Merkin a hand. She stood at the door, waiting to be invited in.

"Kids, I think that one of your tutors is here." Bob spoke.

Looking over at the door, Tina, Gene, and Louise saw Aelita waiting at the door. They had a discussion about who should be the one to open the door, even voting on it. They had a quick rock-paper-scissors game to decide. Ultimately, the one who lost the game was Louise. Letting out an annoyed grunt, the nine-year-old went to the door, opening it up. As the door opened, Aelita was able to enter the restaurant.

"Good afternoon, everyone!" Aelita greeted.

"Hi Ms. Stones!" Linda spoke.

"Hey." Bob greeted.

"What brings you here, Aelita?" Louise asked.

"I was just in the neighborhood, looking for you and your siblings." Aelita said. "Seeing as it's the weekend, I figured that you would be helping out at your family's restaurant."

"Where are the others?" Bob asked.

"They're at Wagstaff, getting stuff together for the next week." The pink-haired teen said.

"And you're not?" Tina asked.

"I kinda figured that Odd would be out, too." Gene said. "All he does is watch after people in detention."

"He was going to come, but the school had him stay behind to discuss some things." Aelita said.

"Well, considering that you're here, would you like a burger?" Linda asked.

"No, but thanks for the offer." The teen said.

"If you're not here for a burger, then why are you here?" Bob asked.

"I just came to speak to your children, Mr and Mrs. Belcher." She said.

"About what?" The man asked. "You're not planning to steal from the restaurant, are you?"

"Of course not! I would never do that!"

"Yeah, she's only here to talk to us about an after school project we've been working on." Louise lied.

"Really?" Linda asked. "What's the project?"

"It involves an experiment in which we try to convert real world matter into code." Gene said.

"And it also utilizes a device known as a Scanner." Tina added.

"Gee, that's a crazy project!" Linda said.

"How do you even have the time for it?" Bob asked.

"We stay after school to work on it." Gene stated.

"Uh, Mr and Mrs. Belcher, can I speak to your children in a more private area?" Aelita asked.

"Sure." Linda said.

"That's an oddly specific question, but yes." Bob said.

A few minutes later, Aelita had entered the Belcher living room with Tina, Gene, and Louise. The pink-haired teen had closed the door behind her, making sure that no one else followed her. To her knowledge, no one could hear from outside, so she felt as though she was in the clear. With the four inside, they had a little conversation.

"Look, guys, we can't tell your parents about Lyoko." Aelita spoke.

"Why not?" Tina asked. "Shouldn't it be important for them to get involved?"

"Not when X.A.N.A has easy access to those around you." The pink-haired teen said. "If he possessed both of your parents, I don't know how we would be able to get you away from them."

"Can adults not go to Lyoko?" Gene asked.

"The only adult who entered Lyoko was my father." She said. "I went with him when I was a little girl, and we remained there until Jeremy found the supercomputer back where we came from."

"Where's your father at?" Louise spoke.

Aelita got a lump in her throat. Out of all the memories she had, this was the one she hated to talk about. It had been months since it had happened, but it still haunted the pink-haired teen enough for her to become tearful from thinking about it. The image had been burned into her brain, to the point where she couldn't take her mind off of it. Such an image wouldn't leave her mind until the day she died. No matter what happened, Aelita just kept replaying the memory in her head ever since it had happened.

The death of her father.

It was something that would haunt Aelita for the rest of her life. After everything that she had been through, after what her friends had done for her, they failed to save Franz Hopper, the creator of Lyoko. They had gone through hell and back to free Aelita from Lyoko, get William back from X.A.N.A, and to destroy X.A.N.A himself, but it wasn't enough to save Aelita's father from death. He had sacrificed himself to power Jeremy's anti-X.A.N.A program, as it was the only way to stop the malignant AI at the time. The Lyoko Warriors had hoped to materialize Franz Hopper into the real world, but they were unable to. With his death, it meant that they couldn't speak to him and reunite him with Aelita.

"Aelita, are you okay?" Gene asked, concern in his voice.

"My father died on Lyoko." Aelita spoke. "Jeremy couldn't materialize him before the final battle came, and he had to sacrifice himself to give additional power to the multi-agent system we thought would've destroyed X.A.N.A completely."

"I'm sorry to hear about that, Aelita." Tina said.

"Was there no other way to get him out of Lyoko?" Louise asked.

"Sadly, no." Aelita said. "I wish there was, so that we could've gotten him out of Lyoko sooner."

"At least you have us, am I right?" Tina asked.

"I have my friends as well." The pink-haired girl said. "I hope that my father's smiling at me, wherever he's at."

"He probably is." Louise said.

All of a sudden, a knock came on the door. Heading downstairs, Gene saw Ulrich standing in the doorway. The teen didn't look particularly glad to see the eleven-year-old, though it was mainly because he had something better to do. His skin seemed to be much clearer, as Gene didn't see any of the red blotches he saw before.

"Ulrich, how nice to see you!" Gene greeted.

"Is Aelita here?" Ulrich asked.

"I'm upstairs with Louise and Tina!" Aelita called from the second floor.

Ulrich and Aelita entered the restaurant with Tina, Gene, and Louise holding the door for them. Once they got in, they saw a man sitting at the bar. He was an overweight fellow wearing a blue shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, brown cargo pants, brown shoes, and a dark gray beanie. Given how he was dressed, Aelita and Ulrich could tell that he had a busy job. The man looked at them, having never seen them around the neighborhood. However, he pieced together who they were on account of having heard the news about Wagstaff.

"Hi." The man greeted. "You must be two of the new tutors who came to Wagstaff."

"You're right about that." Ulrich spoke.

"We came here at the beginning of the week." Aelita said.

"Oh," Linda spoke, having come out of the kitchen, "Aelita, Ulrich, this is Teddy. He's one of our regulars."

"And I'm their handyman." Teddy added.

"Nice to meet you, sir." Aelita said.

"How's it hanging?" Ulrich asked.

"While you're here," Bob spoke, "would you like a burger, Ulrich?"

"No, but thanks for the offer." The teen said.

"You know, I don't think I've seen any of you eat." Linda said.

"That's because there's food over at Wagstaff." The brunette said.

"For food at a public school, it's rather filling." Aelita said.

"At least eat SOMETHING here!" Teddy spoke. "C'mon, Bob and Linda work very hard on their food!"

"I'm sure that they do, but we only came here to speak to the kids." Ulrich said.

"About what?" Bob asked. "Are you going over notes with them?"

"You are tutors, after all." Linda said.

"We were just going to have them take a walk with us." Aelita said. "As soon as the others call us, we'll be gone."

"Don't be gone for too long, we need our kids to help out with the lunch rush." Bob said.

The door to the restaurant came open, followed by a familiar voice.

"Man, the walk to this place is long! I swear, I've been on shorter walks at Kadic!"

Looking over at the doorway, the Belchers, Ulrich, Aelita, and Teddy saw Odd standing by. The teen was wiping some sweat off of his brow, showing that he had been walking for quite some time. He looked exhausted, but that faded once he smelled what was cooking in the kitchen. Licking his lips, the blonde signaled that he was hungry. Upon seeing this, Ulrich facepalmed and Aelita giggled, knowing that no one would be able to get Odd to leave. The Belcher children were different, having gotten an idea in their heads (well, mainly Louise's and Gene's).

"What smells so good?" Odd asked.

"Oh," Teddy spoke, "those are the burgers that Bob had on the grill."

"Right," the teen said, "I forgot that your restaurant sells those!"

"Would you like one?" Bob asked.

"Do I have to pay you for it?" The blonde asked.

"Usually, yes." Linda said. "But, since you've been helping out our kids, we'll give you a free one! Right, Bob?"

"Lin, we don't usually give out free food." Bob said.

"C'mon, he's been helping out at Wagstaff!" She said.

"And I won't be a bother!" Odd said.

"Okay, I'll make you a free burger, Odd." Bob said. "But, the next time you get one, you have to pay."

"Will do!" The teen said.

Aelita heard her cellphone ring, causing her to answer it. She spoke on it for a little bit before hanging up. As the pink-haired teen spoke on her phone, the Belcher kids watched, wondering as to who she could be talking to. Ulrich, on the other hand, sat next to her, knowing who was on the phone.

"We should get going!" Aelita spoke. "The others are waiting on us!"

"Tell them that I couldn't come." Odd said. "I'll be in the middle of eating!"

"In that case, let's head out!" Louise said, practically jumping out of the booth.

"You guys go ahead." Ulrich said. "I might as well stay behind and act as damage control for Odd."

"Sounds like a plan!" Tina said.

"We'll see you later, Mom and Dad!" Gene said, heading to open the door.

"Bye, kids!" Linda said.

"Keep an eye on them, Aelita!" Bob said.

The Belcher children walked down the sidewalk with Aelita, following her to the other Lyoko Warriors. As they walked, they hoped to find them in no time. With X.A.N.A able to attack the world, it was dangerous for them to not be together. It wasn't rare for the AI to attack a specific member of the group, whether or not they were on Lyoko. Knowing that, Aelita wanted to get to the others as fast as possible. She didn't want to worry them, and she didn't want Tina, Gene, and Louise to get hurt or killed.

After walking for a few minutes, Aelita saw Yumi, William, and Sissi standing near Wagstaff. The three were delighted to see her, but she was wondering why Jeremy wasn't with them. It didn't seem likely for him to get held behind, as Odd was usually the one for it, given how he tutored the students who were in detention. Nonetheless, Aelita approached her friends. Tina and Gene were by her side, while Louise was behind her.

"About time you got here, Aelita!" Sissi said.

"Sorry if I'm late," Aelita said, "I was just speaking to the Belchers."

"She had us come with her." Tina stated.

"By the way," the pink-haired teen said, "where's Jeremy?"

"The school had him stay behind to help out with the lessons for next week." William said.

"Where are Odd and Ulrich?" Yumi asked.

"They're at our restaurant." Gene said.

"Odd's eating, and Ulrich's apparently doing damage control." Louise said.

"Typical Odd, he has to eat!" Yumi chuckled.

"I'm surprised that Ulrich hasn't lost his mind from what Odd does." Sissi stated.

"Well, they're friends, I doubt that they would drop each other like a dime." William said.

"Anyway," Tina spoke, "why did you have us meet up with the group, Aelita?"

"Jeremy found an activated Tower on Lyoko, so he wants us to go to the factory and get Virtualized before he comes." Aelita said. "I was going to tell you this back at your restaurant, but I figured that it would be risky."

"Is X.A.N.A even attacking today?" Gene asked.

"We'll find out once we get to the factory!" Yumi said. "Let's not waste time!"

Knowing that X.A.N.A was likely waiting to attack, the Lyoko Warriors and the Belcher siblings decided to head to the factory. While their parents would likely be worried sick, Tina, Gene, and Louise agreed that it was better to be safe than sorry. Granted, a Return to the Past would likely be launched after the Tower was deactivated, but what could they do? Once they were at the factory, the kids and their four tutors entered and went to the lab. They hoped to get the mission done as fast as possible, especially considering that they were down three members.

Inside the Wagstaff computer lab, Jeremy was putting together assignments for the next week. He wanted to join his friends outside, but Mr. Frond had him come back in order to work on the assignments. Before being brought back in, the blonde told Aelita to take everyone to the lab. From there, she would be in charge of the mission until he had a chance to get out of Wagstaff. Like Jeremy, the pink-haired teen knew how to use the supercomputer. Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi had some knowledge on using it, but the opportunities they had were rare. The only ones in the group who didn't know how to use it were William and Sissi, though the latter had been accepted into the group after their original defeat of X.A.N.A.

Once he had everything together, Jeremy printed out the assignments. He then put them in a folder, placing the folder on the desk shortly after. The blonde then went to the door, intent on leaving. When he tried to open the door, he found that it had been locked. Surprised, the teen tried to unlock it from the inside, but to no avail. Before he could try anything else, Jeremy saw Mr. Frond walking by.

"Mr. Frond!" Jeremy shouted. "Unlock the door! I'm trapped in the computer lab!"

Mr. Frond then turned around, allowing him to face the computer lab. However, there was a faint flash in the redhead's eyes. By getting a closer look, Jeremy gasped, realizing what was in the guidance counselor's eyes: the Eye of X.A.N.A! X.A.N.A had, no doubt, managed to take control of him when no one was looking. The AI likely locked the door to the computer lab as well, assuring that Jeremy would be unable to get out. With the door locked, the blonde could only watch as the X.A.N.A-possessed Mr. Frond ran away.

Taking out his phone, Jeremy quickly dialed Yumi's number. He waited for her to answer, hoping that she would.

"Hello?" Yumi's voice came out of the phone.

"Yumi, are you at the factory?" Jeremy spoke.

"What's wrong?" The brunette spoke.

"X.A.N.A's possessed Mr. Frond, and he's going after you!" The blonde said. "Go to Lyoko with Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich, because we need to stop him before he does something crazy!"

"Ulrich and Odd aren't with us, Jeremy!" She said.

"What?!" He yelled. "Then where are they?!"

"They're at the Belcher family's restaurant! Odd apparently felt like eating there today!"

"Are Tina, Gene, and Louise with you?"

"Yeah. And don't worry, Aelita's setting up the Virtualization process!"

"Good! Get to Lyoko as quick as you can! I'm going to call the others!"

On the other side of the line, Yumi hung up, ending the call. With no time to waste, Jeremy quickly dialed Odd's number, intent on warning him. That depended on, of course, if he was able to call him on time. As mad as the blonde was that his friend would eat at the Belchers' restaurant, he was also worried about what would happen if X.A.N.A-Mr. Frond got to it beforehand. While Ulrich was at the restaurant with Odd, Bob and Linda were there as well. As much as he didn't want his friends to get hurt, Jeremy didn't want anyone else to get caught in the crossfire.

In the computer lab at the factory, Aelita had just finished setting up the Virtualization process. Yumi had left the room to answer her phone, so she was gone for the moment. With Jeremy, Odd, and Ulrich not with them, the Lyoko Warriors only had Aelita, Yumi, William, Sissi, Tina, Gene, and Louise to work with. The activated Tower was in the Mountain Sector, so they knew they had to be careful. As the Virtualization process had been set up, they were able to go to Lyoko in no time. The only thing they needed to work out was whoever wanted to go to Lyoko.

"Alright, everyone, listen up!" Yumi spoke, having walked back into the room. "Jeremy's been locked at the computer lab at Wagstaff, and X.A.N.A's possessed Mr. Frond! One of us needs to go back to Wagstaff while the rest of us take charge of the mission!"

"I've finished setting up the Scanners, so we need to decide on who will go to Lyoko!" Aelita said.

"I'll go!" Louise raised her hand.

"It might be fun to go back." Gene spoke.

"Right behind you, Aelita!" William said.

"Looks like I'm going as well!" Sissi said.

"In that case," Yumi said, "Tina, you'll be coming with me!"

"But what if we run into Mr. Frond?!" Tina asked.

"If we do, we can get away from him!" The teen said. "Now, c'mon!"

Yumi then ran out of the lab with Tina behind her. With them gone, Aelita led the others to the Scanners. As she walked into one, the pink-haired teen stood still, waiting for the device to send her to Lyoko. William slowly entered a Scanner, anticipating his first Virtualization in a while. Sissi was quick, feeling nervous, but willing to go in order to help out Ulrich, considering that he would be in danger. Gene and Louise were much quicker, as they wanted to get the mission done as fast as they could.

The Scanners came on, allowing the three teens and the two children to be uploaded into the supercomputer. Aelita, William, Gene, and Louise patiently waited for the machines to get done. Sissi was unsure of what to do, but stood still. As they were Scanned, the five were set up to be Virtualized. The Virtualization process came on soon after, allowing them to head to Lyoko. While the others were calm, Sissi couldn't help but feel anxious about the mission. It was her first one, and she was worried about messing up.

The Mountain Sector was derelict and quiet, without a single monster in sight. Aelita was slowly localized into the area, landing on her feet. Louise and Gene soon followed, appearing behind Aelita. William and Sissi had yet to arrive, so the three decided to wait for them. A wire frame silhouette of William soon appeared in the sky, slowly being brought into the Mountain Sector. He soon fell from the sky, landing on his feet, but needing a hand to help himself up.

Now that William was Virtualized, Aelita, Gene, and Louise were able to see his avatar. He was dressed in a silver bodysuit with blue accents on it. There was a triangular symbol in the middle, glowing almost like a flashlight. To Aelita, this outfit reminded her of the outfit William had when he was under X.A.N.A's control. He had the same sword from before, but it wasn't the corrupted version X.A.N.A fave him. It was the sword the brunette had prior to being brainwashed and turned into a warrior of darkness.

In the sky, a wire frame silhouette of Sissi appeared, signaling that she was being Virtualized. She then fell to the ground, allowing Aelita, William, Gene, and Louise to get a look at her avatar. The brunette wore a green bodysuit with dark green accents. Not only that, but she had a silver belt with a pink buckle. At the end of each sleeve, there were gauntlets that covered the teen's hands. It was unknown what she could do, but Aelita had a feeling that the team would find out.

"Nice outfit, Sissi!" Gene spoke.

"Yeah, but why is it so green?" Sissi asked.

"Does it matter?" Louise said. "We've got a mission!"

"Well, where is that Tower Aelita needs to get to?" The brunette asked.

"It's only two miles away." Aelita said. "We'll make it there if we hoof it!"

"Let's hope so, because Odd and Ulrich will be in trouble if we don't hurry!" Gene said.

Deciding to lead the others to the Tower, Aelita ran forward, keeping an eye out for any monsters. Louise and Gene were on opposite sides, having their weapons out. William was in the middle, intent on slicing up some of X.A.N.A's monsters if he got the opportunity. Sissi was behind them, trying to get used to the area she was in. It was her first mission on Lyoko, so she didn't want to mess up. The brunette hoped that her friends and their pupils would teach her a thing or two about Lyoko's environment, given how desolate it seemed to be.

After a bit of running, Aelita saw several Bloks guarding the Tower. She fired an Energy Field at one, destroying it almost instantly. The others turned their attention to the pink-haired teen, firing their weapons at her. Louise and Gene then sprang into action, intent on clearing a path for Aelita. Louise threw a knife at one Blok, hitting it in its weak spot. As for Gene, he fired his blaster at the rest of them, intent on killing them before it could Devirtualize anyone.

Now that he was on a redemption mission, William took out his sword and decided to destroy any Blok that came his way. Running at one, he swung his weapon, cleaving his enemy in half. Another Blok walked towards the teen, firing a freeze ray. Dodging it, the brunette swung his sword towards the monster, firing a blast from the blade. Upon being hit by the blast, it was destroyed on impact. William only smiled after that, satisfied that he managed to take down some of his enemies.

With everyone else fighting the Bloks, Sissi wondered what she could do to help. This was her first time being on Lyoko, and she didn't know what to do. She wasn't a fighter, so what would she know about dealing with strange creatures in a virtual world? A Blok came towards the brunette, so it was her turn to fight. Seeing how they worked, she ducked when it fired a laser at her. The teen punched the monster on one of its "faces", causing it to explode.

"Hey, I got one!" Sissi said.

"Excellent work for a first try!" Aelita said.

"We'll keep fighting out here, Aelita!" Louise said. "Head to the Tower!"

Nodding in agreement, Aelita entered the Tower, agreeing to not deactivate it until either all the monsters were gone, or if everyone else got Devirtualized. While she did that, William, Sissi, Gene, and Louise continued to fight the Bloks. They wanted to be quick, too. As X.A.N.A had managed to possess Mr. Frond, there was no doubt that the AI was going to use him to attack Odd and Ulrich. Yumi and Tina had gone to Wagstaff to free Jeremy, but it didn't seem like they were back yet. They hoped that they would come back in time, because they would need reinforcements.

Back at the restaurant, Odd had finished his food. With his friend done eating, Ulrich hoped to get them both to the factory. Jeremy told them that there was a Tower activated in the Mountain Sector, so the brunette felt that they were wasting time by sitting around, eating at a restaurant owned by the family of three of the students they were tutoring. Nudging Odd's shoulder, Ulrich reminded his friend of the mission they had. Knowing that, the blonde was ready to head to Lyoko and take on X.A.N.A's monsters. But, before he left, he decided to thank Bob and Linda for the food.

"Well, that was pretty good!" Odd spoke. "Thanks for the burger, guys! I'll promise to pay next time!"

"You're welcome, Odd!" Linda said.

"Please do pay next time!" Bob said.

Stepping out of the restaurant, Odd and Ulrich began to head in the direction of the factory. As they ran, Odd heard his phone rang. He took it out, answering it the moment he held it to his ear.

"Hello?" Odd spoke.

"Enjoy your meal, Odd?" Jeremy's voice came out of the phone.

"What's going on, Jeremy?" The blonde asked.

"It's Mr. Frond!" The spectacled blonde said. "If you see him, don't approach him! X.A.N.A's taken control of him!"

"Hold on, Jeremy, where are you at?" Ulrich asked, speaking into Odd's phone.

"I'm at Wagstaff!" The teen said. "X.A.N.A locked me in the computer lab, but Yumi and Tina got me out! Don't worry about me, just head to the factory!"

"On it!" The brunette said.

As they ran down the sidewalk, Odd and Ulrich saw Mr. Frond on the other side of the street. Knowing that he was possessed by X.A.N.A, the two teens tried to ignore him. Unfortunately, the possessed guidance counselor began to run at them. His hands crackled with electricity, forming balls of light in his palms. Once Ulrich and Odd were at the factory's entrance, they were might with an electric blast. The attack threw them into the factory, causing them to land on their backs.

Standing up, Ulrich saw X.A.N.A-Mr. Frond walking into the factory, ready to attack again. He walked in just as Yumi arrived with Jeremy and Tina.

"Ulrich! Odd!" Jeremy spoke.

"You guys are here already?!" Tina asked.

"Head to the lab!" Ulrich said. "Odd and I will deal with Frond!"

Nodding in agreement, Yumi and Jeremy ran down to the supercomputer, with Tina following them. Odd got up from the floor, holding his head in pain. He recovered a little late, as he saw X.A.N.A-Mr. Frond rushing towards him and Ulrich. Ulrich got them out of the way, sending a kick to the back of the possessed guidance counselor's head. Knowing that he wasn't down, the brunette kept his guard up, getting in a defensive stance. Odd stood by, realizing that he and his friend would have to fight in the real world.

"Ready, Odd?" Ulrich asked.

"Ready!" Odd said. "But I do hope that Aelita deactivates the Tower soon!"

Back on Lyoko, William, Sissi, Gene, and Louise were still fighting off X.A.N.A's monsters. They had gotten rid of the Bloks, so now they were fighting Roachsters. Aelita hadn't deactivated the Tower yet, so the mission hadn't been finished. A Roachster eventually devirtualized Gene, doing so while he was fighting a few others. With him back on Earth, William, Sissi, and Louise were forced to fight alone. They hoped that Aelita would deactivate the Tower, because they didn't know how much more they could take.

"Guys, I'm here!" Jeremy's voice rang out.

"Wonderful, Jeremy, really wonderful." Louise said sarcastically.

"Aelita, deactivate the Tower!" The blonde continued to speak. "Odd and Ulrich are in trouble!"

"I'm on it, Jeremy!" Aelita spoke.

From inside the Tower, Aelita walked to the middle of the panel. Upon doing so, the pink-haired teen levitated up to the next one. With little time to spare, she entered "Code: Lyoko" into the Tower's control system. This happened as soon as William destroyed another Roachster. With the Tower deactivated, the monsters walked away from their enemies, knowing that their mission was over. After that, the triumphant Lyoko Warriors waited for something else to happen.

Back in the factory, Ulrich and Odd steadied themselves, waiting to knock out X.A.N.A-Mr. Frond. The possessed redhead had gotten back up, and he was ready to fire at the two teens. However, before he could, he collapsed. Realizing that Aelita had managed to deactivate the Tower, Odd and Ulrich went down to the lab. Tina, Gene, Jeremy, and Yumi were by the supercomputer, watching over LyokoLand/Lyoko. Upon seeing their allies, the four smiled.

"Did you take care of Mr. Frond?" Yumi asked.

"Yeah, but we might need to launch a Return To The Past for this one." Ulrich said.

"Otherwise, Mr. Frond's gonna freak out." Odd added.

"Alright, here we go!" Jeremy said.

Upon entering the code for the Return To The Past, Jeremy patiently waited for the program to work. Once it did, a white light was seen on the supercomputer. The light soon engulfed the entire room, beginning to take everyone back in time. Soon enough, the entire world was engulfed by the Return To The Past. It sent the world back to earlier in the day, right before the mission would've started. As it happened, only the Lyoko Warriors would be aware of what happened.

Now that they were back at the restaurant, Tina, Gene, and Louise tried to act like it was a new day. However, it was somewhat hard for them to do, considering how they had already been through the time of day before Aelita arrived. Not wanting their parents to get suspicious, the Belcher children carried on. As it was a work day, they decided to work at the restaurant for the time being. Given how Ulrich, Odd, and Aelita arrived due to there being a mission before, it was unlikely they would come to the restaurant now. However, Louise kept an open eye, thinking that they would come to eat.

Outside of the restaurant, the Lyoko Warriors sat on the sidewalk. They were busy talking about what happened on the mission. While it was a bit surprising that William would go there, the fact that Sissi went there was a little more surprising. The team honestly expected that she would be the first one to get Devirtualized on her mission, but she managed to keep herself up before the Return To The Past. As her mission on Lyoko was her first, they warned the brunette to be careful on the next one. Given how X.A.N.A was, what were the odds that he wouldn't try to possess someone in the group?

Note: Well, Sissi's first mission went better than we thought it would. However, this is only the beginning for her, as she hasn't used any of her powers yet. What are Sissi's powers? Will we get to see them next time? Can William show that he's still got it, now that he's going on missions again? What other diabolical plans could X.A.N.A have in store for our heroes?

Until next time, guys, this is Newcomer24, signing off. Peace!
