I hope you guys will continue enjoying this next part of the story. I'm trying my best to write each one out and make them as good as I can. I hope that you guys enjoy this next chapter. Without further ado Chapter 3. ENJOY!
Chapter 3
Vi fixed her Canadian Army uniform taking a breath. She remembered the last time that she had worn the uniform. She didn't like wearing it at the time before this. She truly hated wearing it this time. She always hated the uniform and would rather have worn her normal clothes instead of her army uniform.
"Knock knock," Peggy called out into Vi's tent.
"Come in Agent Carter," Vi said rather calmly as she continued to run her hand over her uniform.
Peggy came into the tent seeing the woman fixing her uniform. "You ready?"
Vi turned her attention to Peggy. "About as ready as I am going to be. The recruits are most likely waiting for us to show up?"
Peggy nodded her head. "Yes, they are."
Vi followed Peggy out of her tent and towards the practice field of Camp Lehigh. She saw the new recruits 12 of them in total 11 of them very healthy and Steve. She recognized Steve as she had seen him before and thought that he was perfect for what they were planning on doing soon. She could only hope that she was correct in her choice with Dr. Erskine.
"Recruits, Attention!" Peggy snapped as the two of them walked forward. "Gentlemen, my name is Agent Carter and this is Agent Howlett. We will be supervising your induction today." She passed out the papers and clipboards to the recruits.
"To begin with, I shall need you to complete this document," Vi said firmly as she watched the men taking the papers from Peggy. Her hands were behind her back as she watched one of them who looked meaty and rather dumb as he took his papers from Peggy.
"What's with the accent, Queen Victoria? I thought I was signing up for the U.S. Army." The man said which was a rather stupid thing to do.
Vi's brow lifted as she watched Peggy's movements. If it was one thing that women of the military hated was being talked back to. Even when she was in the army in World War I, she hated how men treated her as well once they found out that she was a woman.
Peggy's brown eyes went to the soldier that spoke out. "What's your name, soldier?"
"Gilmore Hodge, your majesty."
"Step forward, Hodge."
Hodge stepped forward.
Vi watched in anger trying to keep her claws in knowing that it would be a problem if she did something stupid.
"Right leg forward, arms like so…"
"We gonna rassle? 'Cause I got a few moves I know you'll like." Hodge said suggestively.
Peggy came closer also putting one of her own legs forward. "Are you familiar with the art of Jiu-Jitsu, wherein your opponent's size and momentum are used against him?"
"No…"
Peggy punched him square in the nose dropping him down to the ground in a heap, his eyes watering, and blood trickling from his nose. "Neither am I."
Vi's lips quirked up into a smirk knowing that Hodge had learned his lesson.
The men let out a laugh seeing how easily a woman had knocked Hodge down.
"Agent Carter! Agent Howlett!" Colonel Phillips called out causing the men to leap to attention as he approached.
Dr. Erskine followed behind Colonel Phillips.
"Colonel Phillips." Both women said at the same time going to attention as well.
"I see you're breaking in the candidates. That's good." Colonel Phillips looked over at the man that was on the ground. "You. Get over there in that line and stand at attention until somebody tells you what to do."
Hodge scurried back knowing that he was indeed in some trouble.
Colonel Phillips looked at the men standing before them. "General Patton has said that "wars are fought with weapons and won by men." Phillips eyed Steve who was rather sickly among the group of healthy men. He eyed Erskine scowling at him.
Vi's eyes went to the weakened Steve knowing that she had once been that way when she was a child. She knew what it was like to be weak like Steve was. She knew that was why Colonel Phillips was looking at Steve that way. She had a feeling if Colonel Phillips saw her that way when she was younger she had a feeling that she would get the same stare that the young man was getting at that moment.
"We're going to win this war because we have the best men... And because they are going to get better. Much better. The Strategic Scientific Reserve is an Allied effort, made up of the best minds in the free world. Our goal is to create the finest army in history. But every army starts with one man. By the end of this week, we're going to choose that man. He's going to be the first of a new breed of super soldiers. And they will personally escort Adolf Hitler to the gates of hell. Both Agent Carter and Agent Howlett will be watching over the progress during the week and will be reporting back to Dr. Erskine and myself on the progress." Colonel Phillips looked at the two women. "I leave it in your hands Agents Carter and Howlett." He turned to leave with Dr. Erskine.
"Alright, gentlemen, laps," Vi called out narrowing her eyes at the men knowing that laps were the first thing that they needed to do. "Stretch out and run 10 laps."
Peggy looked over at the woman who was giving the order. She was rather surprised at how easily Vi slipped into the role of being a commanding officer trying to help pick out the first super soldier that would be made. She hadn't heard the whole story of the young woman who had joined the SSR, but she had a feeling that she needed to talk to her and find out the truth.

This is the end of Chapter 3. I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter. I truly tried my best with trying to write this chapter out. I'm just curious about what my readers think. Do you think I should add a bit of Agent Carter series in here leading up to the next movie which probably will be Captain Marvel just for a few chapters before I go onto something else… I think I might even have a chapter of The Wolverine in there as well. At least a chapter before we go into the Agent Carter series. Please leave a review and let me know what you think of this chapter and what you think of the ideas of adding in Agent Carter and The Wolverine. I will hopefully update next week with a brand new chapter. Until next time.
